Dawn of a new Day [OP-F2]

Recommended Posts

Seldentar stands on a hill just outside of Urbus, looking across the fields. It had been a long time since he had shown himself, having been out training privately. His coat blows in the breeze as his familiar sits at his feet, the small black fox curled up. His former looks of happiness were gone, having been isolated for so long. His blood red sword was strapped to his back. Slowly, he starts to walk down the hill, Shadow jumping up to follow him.

Arekkusu was walking by on the second floor. One again he found himself alone, his temporary party has ended. He noticed a player ahead of him. His look was so advanced and his face so blank, yet it held so much inside. It was insane to even try to guess what this persons story was. Arekkusu figured since he seemed like another good player, Arekkusu walked up to the man, hoping to make amends.

"Hey there sir." Arekkusu said from behind. "Are you ok? You seem a little... off."

Seldentar turns, looking back at the new player behind him. He hadn't been able to contact his guild members. So many people were missing. But even with the assault teams collapse people were still out there, fighting, trying to survive. His eyes narrow, studying the boy behind him. Raising his hand, a second sword materializes in its sheath in front of him. He throws it backwards at the boy.

If you want to survive your going to need something better then that starter sword.

Argumail paced the side of the mountain pondering the question that all leader do. What will happen to his empire past his death. The way he set up his government could lead to a civil war. Or would collapse, or every general fall slowly. Argumail slammed his faced against the wall and he thought hard. How could he prevent the collapse of the Crimsinian Empire? How could he maintain it power and expand even after his death. He wasn't an immortal and his guild members were always butting heads. He could leave a successor of his armies, but the person would always live in a shadow. Plus, he realized the fall his empire was inevitable, but he could prolong it but, make a constitution.

Zelrius himself questioned why it was he was on the second floor. The boy had been cuaght up on the latest news and events as he had disappeared for a good amount of time. It was at this time that that corners of the Second Planning of the Hydra attack peaked his interests. The Assualt team was dwindled, Very Harshly, Almost every single person in the Last attack went missing and hasn't been found since and the Command kind of broke apart. Aside from all that, With the disappearance of many, It would seem all Guilds that held a thread of power were all but decimated and a few more guilds had arisen.

So, Here Zelrius sat on a small slope on a mountain on the second Floor only thinking of the latest knews and politics. It would seem he had begun to suddenly think of this far more often then usual, but what really puzzled him was what urged him down to the second Floor? ALl things were slightly taken aback when he heard a bit of talking and the sound of shoes or boots quitely hitting the ground slightly above him. Standing up Zelrius fixed his bow tie and striaghtened the Frills of the inside of his suit and turned to see two people standing a few feet above him. One of them he knew from previous expereinece in the Frontlines, Whom Zelrius Identified as Seldentar.

Arekkusu caught the sword a bit clumsily. Survive what on the second floor? Was there a giant threat that the second floor provided that Arekkusu can't handle? Or did the player mean the game in general. Arekkusu was confused, what has this player seen? Is it what Arekkusu is going to be seeing?

The inventory opened as the sword got in Arekkusus grip. The Rising Edge? Arekkusu thought to himself. The Rising Edge wasn't a weapon Arekkusu heard of yet... not that he really heard of many weapons.

"Thank you." Arekkusu started. "But why are you giving this to me? Isn't this important to you? An Uncommon item sounds... well.. extraordinary."

Seldentar shakes his head.

Its an old weapon I made a long time ago, I have no need for it. It can help you survive in this crazy world though.

He turns his head, noticing Zelrius down the hill.

Just remember, you are only as strong as you allow yourself to be. Equipment can help, but its not always enough. You need the will to survive to make it in this world.

He starts to walk down the hill, having heard stories of Zelrius from his former guild mates. While being a PKer, he hadn't heard about Zelrius doing anything maverick related in some time, and now that he was trying to lead an assault on a boss, he had hoped to run into him.

Hello Zelrius, its been a while. Last time I saw you, we were fighting the Floor 8 Boss.
