Tyrius 0 Posted November 23, 2014 #1 Report Share Posted November 23, 2014 Tyrius sat on a bench that was next to a part of the trail he had been walking for several hours, thinking about what he had seen the day before. It haunted him in a way that he simply did not understand, and it was driving him up a metaphorical wall. He had seen himself kill another player, yes, but the weirder part was that it was random and it had crippled him on the spot. Looking around, ensuring that there was no one around who might need to use the bench, he decided to lie down and take a quick nap. Or at least try to. Link to post Share on other sites

He had been observing the crowds as they walked by, unseen and unheard. It was once a young man like himself sat down, looking shifty and slightly confused that Rin decided to focus in on him and see what intelligence he could gather. It was good practice for him to test his stealth abilities on strangers, but he didn't realise that made him look weird - not that he'd care anyway. Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Posted November 23, 2014 #3 Report Share Posted November 23, 2014 Unyie was roaming around like a solo player when she came noticed someone on the ground not moving. "OMG is it dead?" She ran up to it and started poking him with her axe. "Hello are you dead... I never seen a dead player before... She had a really deep discussion in her head about this and finally desided that he was alive because his hp bar was full. The brain work tired her out so she say down next him him and started polishing her axe. Even though the guy was probably not awake it was nice to be around others. Link to post Share on other sites

But, at hearing a ridiculous grating sound several feet away, he hopped up, drew his sword, and pointed the black blade at the source. Which just happened to be a girl his age sharpening an axe. "And you are?" Looking at the girl, and remembering that he saw nobody around before, he realized that he must have taken at least a twenty minute nap. Link to post Share on other sites

She giggled before returning to sharping her weapon. "I am Unyielding, best remember it." By now she was gloating as if she was some top ranked player. After being satisfied with her work, she put the weapon away and pulled out her curved blade. "What makes you want to sleep out here you could die any minute. Or worst... One called the Mithril Pebble of Pig Smithing... and the Mr. Fish Axe." she folded her arms, as she thought about the items. She really wanted them but they where so elusive.. "Have you seen these items?" she turned the the guy and opened her eyes wide. -Rei uses puppy dog eyes- She leaned toward him and clapped her hands together, "did you?" He analyzed the situation though, and figured that she had no foul intentions, and was just another player trying to survive. She was just trying to help. "I am serious.. this pebble has +2 LD and the Mr. Fish Axe has 2 Damage" Then she turned around, "Im not the one who was lieing on the ground motionlessly... sorry for caring" she dropped to her knees and rubbed her finger int he ground. Understanding that it might give a bad impression to lie motionless and appear dead, Tyrius said, "Alright well, I'm sorry for appearing dead, and thank you for stopping to check on me." "Opps.. i am so sorry, i am not use this culture of greeting through hand shakes..." She grabbed his hand lightly afraid to grip it too hard. "So," he said as they walked, "do you want to know something strange?" He couldn't take it back now, so he hoped he could at least let her know why he was on the bench without sounding... weird. Intriguing. As they nattered on about other things, he decided to get a bit closer. Swinging so that his ankles were the only things keeping him on the branch, he was literally head over heels. It was only a matter of seconds after he performed this maneuver that they decided to go on some sort of stroll. 'Just my luck' he thought. As they moved away, he performed a backflip before tailing them at a distance. If there were 'legendary' items to be had, it was in his interest to follow... Link to post Share on other sites

"Sure, i love hearing tales and stuff." then she smiled and tilted her head. She was happy that someone took interest on her quest. She was very weary though. If she found the items she knew that the kid might try and steal it from her. They where the same level though, so maybe she would luck out and he would be too scared to fight her for it. However something was bothering her... she could not put her finger on it. She felt like they were being followed... but maybe it was her imagination. Link to post Share on other sites

And this message pops up from this kid, a lower level one, saying he needs help being escorted. I decided that it would be good to help the kid after another player pointed out that the message went to everyone, and a ton of PKers were probably flocking to that location." Taking a deep breath so he could continue, he said, "Anyways, we were escorting the kid to floor two to keep him safe when I was... well, hit by the urge to..." Tyrius felt his throat tighten up at the thought of what he had wanted to do. Swallowing, to help ease the knot of tension, he continued, "I wanted to kill him. And in my mind, I did. I-it hurt me physically. I fell to the ground then, and was unable to go on, for fear that the urge would actually take hold." Tyrius had been looking away from Unyeilding and kept looking away. In his head, he kept trying to process the situation, trying to figure out why he had felt that way and why he was upset with it. Link to post Share on other sites

'Perfect practice if we ever sparred' he thought to himself as he scaled the wall of a nearby building. Once on top, he jumped from rooftop to rooftop, ledge to ledge as quiet as a mouse. His black outfit and hair helped disguise him against the shadows cast by the houses and stores. Looking down on them from one of the perches, he wondered why the girl didn't react as he expected. What makes us not animals is our will and ability not to act on those desires. So in my eyes you are still good cause you did not kill him" She released him and started walking beside him. In her mind she was scared as heck. She knew she could not trust him now. Maybe this is why she was feeling worried. However she could not react because she did not want to set him off. Knowing that he had to explain, but unsure of how, he said, "Listen, please. I know it sounds bad, and I hate myself for it, but you have to understand. I did not have control over it, it just happened. I know you are probably freaking out, and you probably want to run, and you can if you want. I won't hurt you, all I wanted to do was tell someone, anyone." Feeling the knot re-forming in his throat, he said the next few words with a large amount of fear, sadness, and repulsion "I feel like I have done something wrong, just by having the urge to hurt someone. I hate myself, I really do, and all I want to do is stop existing. Because then, if that urge was something that could cause me to harm others, I wouldn't be around to harm them. I-I am really scared." He looked at her, not caring that tears were sliding down his cheeks, and said, "Should I just stop living?" He fell to his knees then, and sobbed, just wishing that he would have never played this game. This horrible game that has been tearing his mind apart and making him question who he was. In fact, he and Tyrius were the ones that bailed him out. No matter what murderous thought came to mind, it doesn't make you a bad person. Arekkusu certainly had a few people he thought of killing that were his own best friends, it tend to happen, but that doesn't make them bad people. "Hello there Tyrius." NOMATTER HOW I FEEL I ALWAYS EXPRESS HOW I FEEL TRUTHFULLY." Then she dropped him, "You are right, its not something you ear every day and i cannot say im ok with it, but that does not make your life any less valuable. "You have to always push forward because we are not code, or 1s and 0s.. we are human beings and we have to fight." Then she started walking forward, "So put on a smile and move forward with me".
