History: Drake has a very dark past. He was raised by a caring mother and a brutally abusive father. He was constantly being punished by his father, for reasons he didn't understand, and was eventually driven to climb out his window and run away at the age of twelve, forced to live an equally brutal life on the streets of Tokyo. Eventually, after two years, he was adopted by a family that understood his street struggles and what they had shaped him into. His new family treated him with utmost kindness, and on his fifteenth birthday bought him NerveGear, because he had revealed to them that he was a huge gaming fan. Shortly afterwards, SAO was released, and his family also bought that for him, knowing that he would love the game. That is where his pre-game history ends.

 

Virtues:

Patient: Drake is very patient, and is able to wait as long as necessary, perhaps even longer. This has helped him in most situations, where waiting is the key to survival.

Tolerant: Drake has put up with insults and jeers for the longest time, and has grown used to being talked down to. He is unphased by all of the crap people try to throw at him, and can ignore most insults easily enough.

Detached: Drake has pushed his feelings off to the side, and assesses them at a rate of his choosing. He can enter a situation and keep his emotions from getting in the way.

 

Flaws:

Fixation: Drake is determined to find and eliminate all male player killers. He refuses to harm female player killers because of his attachment to his mother, who was always there when he needed her. (Note: After recent events, he is willing to kill ONE female in particular)

Paranoid: Drake has an extreme distrust of males who are stronger than him, mainly because of his father abusing him.

Remorseless: Drake has a hard time feeling compassion or mercy for those he encounters. He has actually taken a life once, and feels absolutely no guilt from doing so.

Story So Far: In the starting city, Drake mistakes a player for a PKer, and almost attacks them. When they explain that they aren't PKers, Drake goes outside the city. Drake encounters a PKer named Mari, and while she is female, he still feels the urge to kill her. He doesn't fight her, which would have ended with his demise, but intends to. He has experienced an odd personality change after encountering Mari.
