Not knowing what to expect, he was caught off guard when the Wasp started fluttering its remaining wings in a harsh manner. The vibrations it gave off sent waves of pain to Oikawa's head. Covering his ear's he dropped to his knees. Not giving up, he grabbed his rapier and just ran straight at the Wasp. Keeping it up it tried to increase the vibration. Succeeding it further amped its range of damage (Dealt 1 damage). Wasp 1 finally recovered from it's paralysis but was still to weak to attack. It instead flew behind its brother and waited to see what the player would do. Raising up his shield, he put his head directly behind it to reduce the affects of the vibrations. Then rushing forward he stuck his rapier out straight ahead. Propping his head up barely above the shield, he looked to make sure he was still somewhat on target. Ducking his head back down he kept running. after a few strides he looked up again to see that the vibrations had stopped as Wasp 1 had dragged Wasp 2 out of the way of the players attack. #8730 BD: 3 HP: ~Oikawa~ 20/23 ~Wasp 1~ 4/12 ~Wasp 2~ 6/12 ~Wasp 3~ DEAD 0/12 Link to post Share on other sites

Knowing that taking kind of hits would be fatal for either of them, Wasp 1 grabbed Wasp 1 and flew them upwards out of the way of the player. Wasp 1 then flew back towards the ground and dropped Wasp 2 on to the floor. Then it proceeded to try and launch another stinger attack on the player. The player easily dodged the linear attack and being as he was out of the range of Wasp 2, it simply decided not to attack. Oikawa 1 Posted February 5, 2015 Author #25 Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 Oikawa observed as the wasps coordinated an attack. Dropping Wasp 2 onto the ground, Wasp 1 came speeding at Oikawa. The attack was a simple lunge forward, so Oikawa side-stepped it and went straight for Wasp 2. Sword drawn high, he came blazing down the field at the insect. He was so focused on killing the bug, that he didn't notice a random rock formation protruding from the ground and tripped over it. Buzzing and flying forwards it tried to attack the player from behind. The player must've heard the buzzing as he jumped to the side, resulting in a failed attack. Wasp 2 tried to use its vibrating wing attack, but realized it no longer had the energy to do so. Realizing he had the opportunity to finish off one of them he went after the injured Wasp 2. Lunging forwards he barraged the Wasp with a series of jabs and thrust resulting in a very pixelated death as it disappeared from the field. "Two down one to go" he said as he collected his loot orb. Having nothing to defend itself with, it simply took the blow and submitted to death. Bursting into pixels, it hoped its brother could finish the fight for it. Wasp 1 watched as its brother dispersed into pixels just liked his beloved Wasp 3. Angered it came flying at the player. Engaging in combat the two went back and forth parrying and attacking, dodging and clashing. Finally seeing an opening the Wasp to a gamble and went for a stab into the players chest. This was a mistake as the player brushed the attack aside and readied an attack. The wasp hoped that the player missed again. A series of thrusts, jabs, dodges, blocks and random noises alike, emitted from the deadlock. Feeling brave the Wasp gambled an attack that Oikawa saw coming. Pushing the attack aside, Oikawa raised his rapier to deliver the final blow. Looking the bug right in the eye, he thrusted. Bursting through the other side of the Wasp (Dealt 6 damage), Oikawa felt relieved as he healed some HP and collected his loot (Healed 1 HP). His relief was cut short as the whole woodlands began to shake. Suddenly a bright flash of light happened and the <<Wind Wasp Queen>> appeared. <<Wind Wasp Queen>> 30 HP and 2 Base Damage "Well ain't this just my lucky day. Bring it on! I've been waiting on you all day." Having battle her underlings for so long he felt this battle should be over quickly. Raising his blade, he darted back and forth until he leaped and went for an aerial attack. Thrusting his rapier forwards he attempted to set the tempo by delivering the first blow. Connecting on the blow (Dealt 6 damage), The Queen shrieked in agony. This time the Queen saw it coming. Meeting the first thrust with her needle arms she deflected the attack. Going back and forth the two clashed until Oikawa saw an opening for a thrust to her upper chest. Side stepping a wild swipe from the queen he leaned forward, throwing his whole arm into the attack. This was a mistake as the Queen dodged the blow and continued her assault. He blocked the jabs thrown in time enough to regain his footing and create some distance. "Not bad for a wasp. The queen took the bait and blocked the attack from the shield. This left her wide open for another hit. Taking advantage of this Oikawa threw a few quick jabs right at the queen. Landing most of the blows (Dealt 6 damage), Oikawa back stepped once more to evade any incoming fury jabs from the Queen. "Come on! Iv'e dealt quite a bit of dame to her. Hmm maybe this will rile her up. Jumping forwards, Oikawa went in for another attack. He missed by a landslide however as the queen floated upwards and hovered over the player. "So you do still have some fight left in ya?" Using nothing but speed and will power, he ran up the tree and began darting from one tree to another. Eventually nearing the Queens height, Oikawa used the his momentum to propel himself through the air and attack the queen. Connecting on yet another blow (Dealt 6 damage), Oikawa was surprised to find himself in pain as well. Just as he had jabbed his blade into the Queen, she impaled Oikawa with the tip of her needle (Received 1 damage). Gasping for air, he was relieved when the queen pushed him off her needle and he went flying to the ground. Picking himself up , he felt a surge once more as healed some HP (Healed 1 HP). #8780 BD: 8 MD: 9 (10 - 1 Evasion) HP: ~Oikawa~ 21/23 (-1)(+ 1 HP) ~Wasp Queen~ 12/30 (-6) Link to post Share on other sites

Flying around sporadically the queen went thrashing into tree after tree. In a blind rage it came crashing after Oikawa. Dodging the first few attempts, Oikawa had to stay on his toes. Waiting for another lunge, he tried to time his counterattack perfectly. While the timing was slightly off, he collided directly with the Queen. Stabbing the giant wasp right through the chest (Dealt 6 damage), he was met with an equally painful blow (Received 1 damage). Going left he found nothing. returning the the battle site he, opted to go right. To no avail, however, as he found no signs of the trees he marked earlier. "Well this is just depressing. Guess I'll just walk around until I find one of the trees or the exit." Easier said then done I guess. Turning this way and that he thought he would be trapped forever. Luckily he happened to a see a tree with on of his markings on it. Following the marking he slowly found another. Eventually he wound up back at the entrance to the Woodlands. "Now all I have to do is get back to the first floor." Stepping out of the area, he headed straight for the teleportation gate. Now all I have to do is get this Matriarch's Stinger back to the quest hall so I can claim my reward. Then I can go home and craft some new weapons. Ah, looks like I'm done healing. Let's go. Shaking his train of thought, Oikawa stepped on tot the teleportation gate and spoke. "Teleport to Starting City" With a sudden shake, Oikawa was on the first floor in the Starting City. "Home sweet home" He then ran straight to the quest hall and collected his reward. Afterwards, he simply returned to his home/shop and began crafting. Link to post Share on other sites
