One of the three had missed, but the other two lodged themselves into the player's chest, managing to pierce through his leather armor. "God damn it," he muttered, swearing under his breath. He winced as he yanked to the two bolts out, then kicked the chest aside. The chest hit the ground, then shattered. On the bright side, he hadn't suffered very much damage from the ordeal, and his wounds had nearly finished healing. "But on the other hand, it would've been really nice to have ended this with actual treasure." In any case, he'd had enough of the desert today. "Better get out of here before I get shot by another crossbow." He walked off until finally exiting the desert, then made his way for the teleporter.
