SP - F3 Earning a Living: Restocking the Store #2

It seemed that walking around the city was proving less fruitful than Mari thought...she wasn't sure exactly what she was expecting doing this. Was she simply just trying to kill time? Another zombie shuffled up toward her. But Mari was able to side step it; they moved too slow for her to bother with it. They were- at this stage, nothing more than an annoyance. "Stupid things..." She mumbled under her breath.

As Mari turned another corner - following the outer wall of the starter city she came face to face with yet another Zombie. Mari pulled out her dagger; without missing a beat she drove the dagger into the zombies chest, and removed it. The zombie shattered; their health was just too low. Mari knew that the zombies attacked en masse and that was what was meant to make them 'difficult' but there were too few around the outskirts of town. Mari had travelled about half way around the outskirts of town; and it looked like all she would find - were zombies.

Mari couldn't see anything even remotely resembling materials. Or anything she could collect. She was probably too close to the town; but she just couldn't be bothered venturing out any further. Not when she knew her shop was so close and she had enough materials to do some crafting. She also wanted to be there just in case Calrex rocked up with her order.  It seemed as though this particular hunt; was all but over. 

Mari did notice something she hadn't noticed on her earlier trip around the 10th floor - there was another Dragon; guarding the entrance to the town. So there were two entrances/exits; and both were guarded by dragons. "Righteo then..." Mari muttered as she waltzed past it; outside the safe zone.

Despite being outside that safe zone the dragon's eyes followed her and it gave an audible growl. "Yeh, yeh..." Mari muttered bitterly.

Mari turned another corner and walked the span of the wall for a very uneventful and boring 15 minutes; then - with that last corner - she was right back where she started. "Damn..." She was really hoping she would happen across something useful. But she just didn't get anything. It was a bit of a shame. Mari could see the dim light protruding from her Alchemy Tent - which was the only store currently on the 10th floor. She headed toward it, deciding that she simply had enough Material hunting.

At least for a few days.
