Period. By extension of this, he always had the drive to get his hands on the latest and greatest of gadgetry and tech. However, he has always had a deep seated appreciation from where it all stemmed from, pen and paper. Created initially as an extension of his own personality but minus the limitations of, well being limited, Szuriex was Kevin, without the normal flaws. Naturally, when Kevin had heard of the upcoming release of SAO, he immediately connected the dots and realized that he could actually BE Szuriex. Pulling every string he could, he finally got his hands on the NerveGear with a preorder for SAO. And from there...the rest you all should know if you're reading this... » Virtues: Self-Respect: Szuriex holds great value in his own personal accomplishments/self. Whether it is in regards to his personal skills or how the people around him view him on a day to day basis. Szuriex yearns to earn earn, at the minimum, everyone's respect. Some say he's shameless. Others say he's clueless. He says he's just the best. (Arrooounnnd!)Reliable: Szuriex will never allow another to go through hardship if there's something within his power to prevent it. His friends know that he is there at the drop of a dime should they need his help. And this is regardless of if they'll admit they need it or not. He just kind of has a way of knowing.Clever: Szuriex has the odd knack for being canny in nearly all situations. He picks up on things rather quickly and adapts readily. Whatever the situation, Szuriex does his best to think of the best approach. And whether its always true or not, he tries to be three steps ahead of everyone else. » Flaws: Flirty: Unfortunately, given Szuriex's rather big...ego, he tends to have a bit of a problem avoiding giving women a bit of extra attention. While by no means pushy, he merely has zero qualms about showing his own interest. Despite this forwardness, Szuriex tends to be almost a subconciously chivalrous individual.Lazy: Due to his overly clever tendencies, Szuriex does have a hard time doing work that doesn't result in a worthwhile (and sometimes timely) reward. While by no means will he avoid a fight or a quest of any kind. Getting him to take out the garbage or do the dishes, may take some time and...convincing...Arrogant: With so much self image, it comes naturally (for better or worse) that he is a bit full of himself. Though he himself doesnt realize it. He just thinks he is the best. Which...come on. He kinda is.
