He knew what he had wanted to be for a long time, and now he felt he was ready to finally accept and do the Quest he had long sought after. He sent a message to his old friend Skylar, that he had met a long time ago on the exact floor he stood on today To: Skylar Hey man! Im doing the Earning a Living quest, wanna help? He opened it up to find a message from Hikoru, just asking for help. Skylar was not busy at this point so why not help his old friend out. He opened up the message box to send a quick message to Hikoru. To: Hikoru Sure! I will be there in a minute. Just give me a second to close shop. Skylar put away Fleur and whistled for Rutta. "Come on girl let's help out a friend." Skylar made his way to the portal and descended to floor one. He went to the old boar area he trained in and spotted the back of a familiar companion. It was a close call for the both of them, but they conquered it well. Suddenly, he heard tiptoes behind him, and drew his blade and pointed it at Skylar, inches from his nose. "If you would like to not be blind, I suggest you not do that next time." He said as he put the blade back into its sheathe. Skylar 0 Posted April 1, 2015 #4 Report Share Posted April 1, 2015 Skylar just smiled, he highly doubted Hikoru would just up and blind him. Hikoru chuckled when Skylar stopped in his tracks. The funny thing though, was that Skylar did not stop from fear, but from the fact that he was checking Hikoru out. Yep he was a good looking as Skylar could remember. "So" Skylar started ready to get this show on the road. "Do you have the material list of things you would need to start your profession? What is your profession any way?" ​Skylar was slightly hoping Hikoru would say musician, only because he could spend more time with Hikoru and give him tips on music. He looked at the list he made of materials and things he needed to do for this quest. "I don't really need to get anything but a few materials.... Should be fun!" He said. He was a bit excited, but he knew it would probably be a little bit boring to him. While material gathering was good, it was only one thing to do, and it didn't cause any sort of excersice to him, so he knew there would not be a big bulk of benefits to this. "Well we do need two giant boar tusks, so we may want to get those last" Skylar recalled what he remembered on Giant Boars. They are big brutes with a lot of health and good smash damage. Might not be something he would want Hikoru in the way of. "So besides the boar tusk you need 2 iron wood, 1 Deadly Vine, and a small Diamond. Wow, six materials is not a lot. My fist time gathering I had to get at least 12 different items. It was a mess. If we are going to get started on this list what do you suggest we find first?" It sounds the easiest to find..." he said as he closed the menu and looked around. He saw a small patch ofvb forest to his left, and pointed towards it "Let's check their first." Skylar 0 Posted April 1, 2015 #8 Report Share Posted April 1, 2015 Skylar shambled over to the forest. Ironwood, Ironwood, Ironwood. It is a silverish tree with gold leaves almost impossible to find. "Hey look at that! For something hard to find that was easy." Skylar touched the tree and watch it break as if cut with a saw. The ironwood was smaller and a lot easier to carry. "Nice job man! Keep it up! Well be done in no time!" He said as he kept searching for materials. He looked around, but couldn't find anything. Looking for his own materials made spotting these a lot more easier. A deadly vine." He smirked "That should be easy.... were surrounded by them!" He joked as he didn't see one vine in sight. He searched around, but to no prevail. Hikoru may need some type of searching help because he did not seem sure how to look. Deadly Vines could be difficult to find, the only sure fire way too know you found one would be the smell. The noxious fumes gave off by the vine caused poison damage. Skylar felt Rutta push against him and moved towards a tree, pawing at the bark. A vine came out, sending noxious fumes into the forest. "Well look what Rutta found!" Skylar picked up the deadly vine and placed handed it over to Hikoru. "Try to hold your breath until it is in the bag. He sighed and looked at the list "Now its a Small Diamond. Well this is great! How will we eve-" Suddenly, he saw something shiny in the ground. He dug and found a small diamond. He smiled and held it up in pride "YES! I AM A MASTER DIAMOND FINDER!" He said as he held it out to show skylar 14082 6 11 15 10 15+1= 16 LOOT AQUIRED! Since everything else was actually easy apparently. Well we can find them, but getting it will be harder." Sklyar played with Rutta a bit as he let Hikoru decide the destination. He was proud of himself and Skylar, and how they had easily found the items on the list. But now came the hard part. He knew this would be a tough fight, but he knew that it wasn't something Skylar and him couldn't handle. As he leaved the woods, he sees a large, open field to his left. "That way." He said as he pointed towards the field. He started to walk forward towards the field, ready for anything that would come in his way from completing this quest.
