He walked back to where he was and Pulled out the checklist again. "Lets see...." He said as he looked. "I need:" 1 Poison Root 2 Raw Ores 2 Silver Wood 1 Boar Tusk He looked and nodded, heading for the forest once more to look for materials again. He hoped he wouldn't die on this quest, because he knew nobody would know about it, and he would soon be forgotten. He ran quickly. No, he would not die today. He knew he would save the boar for last, because it would be the hardest part of the quest, and he wanted to make sure he had everything he needed to complete this quest before he fought a boar all alone, the first time he had ever done that. ID: 16471 Loot: 9 NO LOOT AQUIRED Hikoru looked under rocks and in knot holes, but found nothing that he could use. This is taking forever!" He exagerated. ID: 16474 LD: 9 NO LOOT AQUIRED In frustration, Hikoru flipped over a large boulder as he couldn't find anything. "Fine.... I'll do this a little longer game. But if I don't get any Materials in the next 5 Minutes (3 turns) Im hunting for a Boar!" He said, turning his low mumble into a yell by the time the sentence was done. If only Skylar hadn't bailed on him, he wouldn't have to re-take this Quest. But he knew that things came up, so he set his anger aside and focused on the Quest at hand. Being alone made the quest harder, and he didn't have anyone to socialise with. Sure, he liked the serenity of it all, but he did miss the voices of his close friends that he had come to know and love. He sighed once more, and got up and continued searching. ID: 16480 LD: 8 After looking around in new areas, he finally gave up and screamed to the air "FINE! I'LL JUST HUNT FOR A BOAR THEN! THANKS A LOT GAME!" He decided it would be best to sneak up on it, and try to get the first attack. Soon Hikoru was down on the ground, crawling towards the boar. He smiled as the boar hadn't seen him, and he leapt up, scaring the boar. "Here pig pig, lets do this!" This was the first time he ever fought a boar alone, and adrenaline rushed in his veins. He tensed up, preparing for the battle at hand, and he prayed that he would get the loot he needed to get this done. ID: 16483 BD: 8 MD: 10 (Critical Success) Hikoru lunged at the boar, and happy that he found its mark on the right side of its back, and felt powerful. But that feeling was short lived, as the Boar struck him right after he attacked, and helt on eof its tusks dig into his ribs, and he screamed in pain. He felt anger flow through him, and he now had a reason to kill this boar: revenge "Alright, lucky shot you cheating scum. Lets see if who can survive longer." He said as he spat a little blood onto the ground, the spot now red with blood. The boar looked angry, and he knew it wouldn't back down easily. He breathed in slowly, and breathed out, focusing his mind and looking at the boar, preparing for the next attack. ID: 16484 BD: 6 MD: 2 Hikoru slashed at the boar, taking another chunk of health. He smiled in triumph as he had landed another successful hit. He saw in the corner of his eye that the boar was lunging at him again, the same as before. He knew there was a chance of this, and rolled out of the way. The boar couldn't turn in time and missed his mark. Hikoru smiled and stood up to face the boar once more "Toro Toro Olay Ya flea bag!" He said, acting as a matador with his blade. "Saw it coming a mile away! You better use a better tactic next time!" he said as he laughed to himself. BREAKDOWN Hikoru rolls a 6. 1+1 Blade knowlege= 2 Damage to Boar Boar rolls 2 and misses its mark! He knew he had a very big chance of winning this fight, but he couldn't get cocky of the Boar would take him down easily. He grit his teeth and prepared for the next turn. ID: 16490 BD: 4+1 saavy=5 MD: 9 Hikoru lunged at the mob, but he miscalculated the trajectory and missed his target. The boar takes this to his advantage and hits with a decent hit, but his Damage Migation stopped from any major damage being taken BREAKDOWN Hikoru rolls a 4, savvy adds one but it still misses! He grumbled and charged for the boar in pure anger, wanting to finish him off quickly ID: 16500 BD: 1 MD: 7 Hikoru complelly missed the boar, falling onto the ground and dropping his weapon. The boar once again takes this to his advantage, and striked him as he gets up. BREAKDOWN Hikoru Rolls a 1, a critical fail! He was not going to lost this fight against a Pig of all things! He quickly stood up and screamed at it, anger seeping through his pores, sweat dripping off his face "YOU ARE SO GOING TO DIE TODAY PIG! I WON'T LOSE TO A PIXELATED PORKCHOP!" He screamed. He tensed and prepared to fight. ID: 16503 BD: 6 MD: 10 Hikoru screamed as he charged, and the pig charged as well, tusks out and prepared to strike. Hikoru did his best to try to stop it, but the pig tilted his head down, and striked up into his stomach, causing severe pain. Hikoru screamed, but was able to focus enough to stab the boar in the back. The boar squealed as he backed up, red pixelated blood coming from his gash. Hikoru grabbed his stomach, doing his best not to cry or throw up, whichever came first. he looked to see the gash was bad, but his health hadn't dipped too far. He stood up, a little wobbly, but he got to his feet "If thats...." Hikoru breathed "The best you can do.... I feel.... Bad for you...." He said as he stood once more, ready to fight. "Now I guess its time to get serious, now isn't it?" He asked the Boar as he turned on his Poker-face, feeling no emotion towards the boar whatsoever. He thought as he looked at the enraged boar. It was having the effects of weariness as well, but it has not yet shown. Hikoru stood and prepared to attack once again, this time going for the goal of finishing it off ID: 16507 BD: 10 MD: 3 Hikoru quickly turn the blade over until the back ot the blade rested on his forearm, and he charged, holding the blade out on the side, slicing the other ear off as well as part of its hide. The Pig was unable to move or attack, as it was in too much pain BREAKDOWN Hikoru rolled a 10, Critical Sucess! 1+2+ 1 Dagger Knowledge= 4 damage taken Boar rolled a 3, Fail! But he soon wiped it from his face and focused once more on the now-exhausted Boar. He prepared for hopefully the final attack, and charged at it once more, this time, with victory in mind! ID: 16512 BD: 7+1=8 MD: 4 LD: 1+1=2 NO EXTRA LOOT AQUIRED Hikoru bore the blade right into the skull of the bore. He smiled in satisfaction as the boar pixelated into nothing but one single item, a Boar tusk. Hikoru cheered in satisfaction as he took the material for himself, and crossed it off his checklist. "Awesome! Only 3 More mats to find!" He cheered as he ran back into the woods to look for more materials to finish the quest BREAKDOWN Hikoru rolls 7, +1=8, Sucess! 1+1 Dagger Knowlege= 2 Damage to Boar BOAR DEFEATED! He saw it not as a mat, but A trophy to hang on his Store wall. He thought as he started to look into some bushes. Hopefully, this would be the area he would finally find the Missing Materials on his list, which were quite a few. He smiles as he carefully puts it in a bag, making sure not to hurt himself while recieving the needed Material "One down, Four to go!"
