PP - F4 The Black and White Knights (Rolland)

Calrex gave a small sigh as a cloud of fog escaped from his lips. He was sitting just inside one of the cafes within the fourth floor settlement of Snowfrost Town, wearing his casual combat clothing and taking a sip of hot chocolate. He had gotten it this time with some lavender infused into the milk, and it seemed to give a nice fragrance as he took another drink of the warm liquid.

 

"It's still not as amazing as Teayre's, but I'm terrible at replicating her technique, so for now this will have to do."

 

He looked outside the window and watched the snow gently fall onto the street. He occasionally glanced over at the Grand Blade, which was resting against his chair within its scabbard as he took another gulp.

 

"It's only been a little over a week since Teayre and I got engaged. It's still crazy to think about...that she said yes..."

 

He felt a blush creep over his face before he gave another exhale to help it subside.

 

"Now we're both even council members of Absolute Pin. Only a few months ago I was standing in the Starting City trying to figure out how to get started. Now...I'm the bearer of one of the two Rook pieces..."
