"Come on bro~ Step up your game." Golden said with a fake frustration as he charged up at the shark. His rapier glowed orange as he jumped up in style and fashion. The blade when above his head and into the back of the shark in a flash. Once again, Golden has hit his target. The shark whimpered in fear as Golden retracted his blade from its back. However, the shark was not the one to go down without a fight. It opened its mouth, trying to swallow Golden as he was falling from the sky. This is way too easy. Thought Golden as he landed on the ground safely, seeing that the shark was too slow to move toward where he was standing. Golden sighed at the stupidity of this shark. "Alright Thorry... "Oh that, that was just for entertainment purposes! Y'know some running comedy." She called out in response to the brown haired boy's challenge, sticking her little pink tongue out at him in a childish manner. "You want a fight, you got it coming Goldy. I'll whoop your ass bud!" The brunette yelled, half serious half playful, charging towards the shark with new found determination. The girl dashed furiously at the monster and raised her sword, ready to deal some heavy duty damage. BAM! The sword of dreams passed clean through the shark, calling it to howl out in pain. "What was that about dealing some damage?" Thorry grinned with a teasing tone, prodding Golden lightly with the tip of her sword. Not enough to actually injure, just a jeering prod. However, he was unable to do the same. Golden raise his rapier, ready to pounce and eventually did so when the shark sank back into the sand. Golden cursed and tried to stab it before it could go completely in but failed to do so. Golden sighed, thinking that it had escaped again when the shark appeared in front of him, surprising him with an attack. Golden yelped as he raise his shield at the last second to absorb some of that attack and defend against the shark using some of the thorns on his shield. "Hey Golden, don't you want to step up your game a little?" She grinned deviously as he sighed disappointedly, staring at the now still sand. She began to walk triumphantly towards her friend to gloat a little more, but all of a sudden the monster exploded upwards in a spray of sand, engulfing her friend in a spray of sand. "Golden!" The brunette cried out in alarm, sprinting urgently towards him. When the sand cleared, she could see a rather surprised looking Golden holding his shield up through the haze and her worry subsided somewhat. Still, the shark was about to mount another attack. "Oh no you don't!" Thorry growled angrily at the monster, leaping in front of her friend to shield him. The shark attempted to close its mouth around her form and snap the young warrior up in a single bite, but Thorrissia thrust her sword upwards through the beast at the last second, blasting it into blue oblivion. New Item Gained:: << Sand Armour Potion >> The girl stared bewildered at her item screen. Had she just... vaporised the field boss? Thorrissia turned to Golden with an exceptionally triumphant grin and asked rather impressively, "Did we just defeat a field boss with 50HP with taking next to no damage?" Golden 0 Posted July 9, 2015 #25 Report Share Posted July 9, 2015 "Yeah that was actually pretty sick" Golden replied but he added, "That wasn't the first time that happened though." To add to his show-off status and ended it off with his eyes closed and shrugged. "So, let's go turn in your quest. I don't want to stay in this desert forever you know." Golden said as he wiped some sweat off with his hands. "Argh... It's actually burning out here." Golden said before heading out to turn in the completed quest. Golden smiled as yet again, he's help another friend out with completing quests before yawning from the heat and how tired he was. He couldn't wait to go back to his shop and chill with some ice water or soda.
