Mwolf's HP:7

Beoreson's HP:12-2

Beoreson noticing Narshe for the first time since the battle began, looks over to him and says, "You may want to stay back, you look a little low for these things." Beoreson then, throws up his arm again as the wolf lunges at him. This time however he takes his sword and stabs at the wolf right after it bites into him. The wolf jumps back away from  him. Beoreson curses a few times and debates if he needs the  potion so soon. He decides that he is fine for another few hits, which he was sure where going to happen.

He slowly minded his HP gauge while standing in his fighting stance. Yeah, it was a lot lower, but he'd be careful. The hate system was a little predictable or so he thought. If he ever got in a pinch, he'd step to the back. Narshe knew the opening levels were the toughest, but fighting wolves at level two was practically powerleveling. Be careful, and you'll be fine... He thought nervously.

The wolf he was fighting wheeled around and struck at the man, as he was unable to block in time. Regardless, it was time to put himself back into the fray. This opportunity was perfect. He put his sword in the horizontal position and came in for a slash at the back of the wolf.

Narshe HP: 6/7 (lol)

MWolf HP: 7-4=3

His sword must have cut through the weak point, because the moment his sword skill connected the wolf's HP dropped considerably. "Hah! I've got you now!!," he managed with gritted teeth. He was happy about his punishing assault, but unfortunately, he was momentarily stunned after his wicked swing. His target yelped, jumped around and immediately lunged for his sword arm. Narshe clenched his teeth, knowing what was coming. The wolf sunk his teeth into Narshe's limb and his HP slowly dropped. Not into the yellow, but damn, was it a considerable amount. Time to switch. He wished that high level looking chick didn't walk off... oh well. He'd watch himself.

Mack was well aware of the fact that he had stepped into the middle of a bad situation, being surrounded by the wolves as he was. Given the beating that the Alpha Male and the first wolf (MWolf) had taken so far, they chose to back off for a moment to lick their wounds. Since it was clear they weren't going to attack, the blonde man didn't have to worry about them for a moment. The other three wolves in the circle closed ranks and two, which were noticeably smaller than the others decided to launch a combo attack. With a bellowing warcry that matched the wolves' snarls for ferocity, Mack swung Midnight Eclipse in a flat arc, aiming to hit one wolf and slam it into the other.

The plan both worked, and failed. As the ebony blade of his axe slammed into the side of the first wolf, mid-leap, the animal exploded into pixels and the blade continued along its path and into the second of the small wolves. The animal snarled but its momentum still carried it into the big axe-man where it locked its jaws around his throat. The weight of the creature took Mack to the ground and the one wolf that had not yet joined the fray zipped in an locked its jaws around his left leg.

In the fall, the smith had dropped his axe. Rocking back his right fist he slammed it into the side of the smaller wolf's head, dislodging the animal. It let go and scooted off and Mack kicked the second one flush in the face with his right foot, causing it to let go. It was time to add some organization to this fight. "Narshe, Beoreson finish off the Alpha. If you kill it, move on to the one I had at the beginning of the fight (MWolf)! The little one will bleed out, and I'll take the last big one, we need to finish this fight!" Scrambling back to his feet, the warrior snatched up Midnight Eclipse and turned to face the remaining big wolf (Wolf 3), assuming that Narshe and Beoreson would go off to deal with the other two.

Mack looked to be struggling just a bit, but only that. The warrior he had met just a few moments ago was carrying himself with composure in a place of danger. Natural leader. He'd follow. "You've got it!" He said, getting into a good stance. The alpha had jumped away, into the red zone. His attack pattern definitely changed, but it wouldn't matter if Narshe could land one good attack. He took his blade and raised it high in the sky, readying a rush attack. He sprinted towards the leader of the pack with a fierce scream.

#27335 CD: 10 (epic finish.)

Narshe HP: level up, 8/9

His assault ended with a shattering of pixels. the blade had fallen right on the wolf's head, and it's HP immediately dropped to zero. "Got him!! Moving on, stay sharp!" He shouted at Mack. He was holding his own pretty damn well, so Narshe thought to give some well earned encouragement.

Beoreson's HP:11

Mwolf's HP:3-3

The black haired warrior was about to stop Narshe as he went charging towards the alpha but, he decided to let him have his fun. He was quite surprise when, the lower warrior took out the alpha. Even though the creature was injured, he expected the thing to at least get a swipe or two in before it died. Narshe had risen his worth in Beoreson's eyes. But, it was not the time to congratulate him yet. He had to kill the wolf, that for some reason was harder for him to kill.

Beoreson charged at the wolf that he just couldn't kill for a reason or another. The wolf snarled and lowered it body to the ground quickly then, sprung into the air flying towards the black haired warrior. Beoreson then, dodged out of the way of the wolf by taking a step to the right. He took his sword and raised it over his head. He then, brought it down chopping the wolf in half. The two haves of the wolf exploded into the million little red pixels. The black haired warrior look a bit stunned after he killed the thing. He had had so, much trouble with the beast why not now. "Hey, Mack what else do you need me to kill?" asks the black haired warrior with a cocky smile.

Seeing out the corner of a storm grey eye that both Narshe and Beoreson had succeeded in eliminating their respective wolves from the fight, that left only the last of the reinforcing wolves to deal with. Sensing that it was now badly outnumbered, the canine growled low in its throat and began to slowly back away from the three warriors. In an effort to encourage this behavior to give Narshe and Beoreson the time to properly set themselves to launch an attack on the remaining wolf, Mack launched a wild horizontal chop from his weapon. The strike missed badly, but it did force the wolf back a few more feet.

Beoreson came running forward towards the wolf. He then, started to play a game of whack a gopher with it. The only problem was the fact that the wolf was to quick for the young, warrior to even hope of getting a hit in. Beoreson looked to Mack,"Well, this is going well." He then, backs away from the wolf as to not draw to much attention on his self. He backed up and, debated charging again. He decided to not charge as it would most likely mess up someone's attack. The young warrior dropped into a defensive stance and, scanned the area for other danger.

"You'd be really dangerous if you could hit something," Mack growled, a small smile gracing his lips. "Let me show you how it's done," he continued, twirling Midnight Eclipse through the air in a black and silver before burying the blade of the weapon deep in the side of the wolf. As he ripped the weapon free from his target a deep gash was left behind which bled freely.

Beoreson tried to charge forward but, managed to trip on one of the two rocks in the field. He fell over and, landed on the other rock that was in the field. The second rock was sharp, and cut the warrior as he landed on it. Beoreson looked around from his spot on the ground and, grunted at the fact that he had fallen again. He decided to make a joke and, said, " LifeAlert. Help, I have fallen and, can't get up" The warrior then, stumbled to his feet pulled the rock out of his ribs and, picked up his sword.

"That's some A-Grade officer material right there," Mack rumbled, swinging Midnight Eclipse down from his shoulder and leaning on the top of the blade, almost as if he didn't have a care in the world. Even the wolf looked a bit embarrassed for Beoreson as the swordsman got up, as the canine creature stood there slowly bleeding from the wound that Mack had just given it. "Care to take another, uh... stab at it," the hulking man asked, still leaning on his weapon and not making any real move to ready it for combat. They had the wolf where they wanted it, and Beoreson had to learn how to fight sometime.

Beoreson looks to the blond soldier,"Thanks for the pep talk sarg. I love using a real sword after, you know using a wooden stick that had some foam tapped to it. This is so, much easier" He then, charges at the wolf again. He misses every strike but, the strikes are starting to become more coordinated and, less waving his arms around and, hoping to hit. Eventually the wolf backs away from the warrior. He looks to the blond soldier,"You my friend are absolutely correct. This is A-grade officer material"

"Always the enlisted guys that have to do the work," Mack growled as the final wolf leaped at him, blood still flowing from the wound that Mack had opened on it with Midnight Eclipse. As the wolf sailed through the air, Mack dropped his weapon and when the wolf slammed into him the burly blonde blacksmith was landed on his back, the wolf snapping its jaws momentarily around Mack's throat. With a savage growl, Mack worked his fingers into the wolf's mouth and pulled the creature's jaws off of his throat. With his massive hands wrapped around the canine's throat Mack gave his hands a savage jerk. There was a sickening cracking noise, as he snapped the wolf's neck and the creature exploded in a shower of pixels. "That's how the real men do it, instead of the boys that call themselves officers."

Beoreson watches the blond soldier snap the wolf like a twig. "You realize that I never even became an officer right?" asks the raven haired warrior starting to question the soldier intelligence. "What else are you going to kill and, make army jokes about?" asks the young warrior as he scans the area for threats. He notices that he leveled up a few times and, put the sp in sword skill. "Mack, you're beating a dead horse. I didn't even go though basic." says the warrior trying to reason with the soldier.

"I know you didn't go through basic, Officers never have to do real work," the soldier replied in a gruff tone. Off in the distance, they could still hear the sound of Lessa engaged with her own opponent, but Mack had little doubt that a warrior of her caliber would be able to handle the creature whereas, if he and Beoreson joined her in the state they were currently in they would only get in her way or, possibly, get themselves killed. "Thanks for the assist, how about we call it a day?" Without another word, the blonde warrior threw Midnight Eclipse over his shoulder and began to head, once again, back towards town.
