[SP-F1] Forced To Train [COMPLETE]

Recommended Posts

The grasslands had a great view, but the view wasn't worth complimenting after what just happened. The game creator locked all the players in. Not the best news for Kiseki to hear. He's angered at this. He wasn't much of a gamer in the real world and now he's put in a position where there will be a lot of players that are skilled at games. Kiseki's motivation is to not be weak. He'll start his training to catch up to those who are better than him. Sure it'll take a very long time but it's either be patient about it and train or complain all the time and always be behind. Since Kiseki's main goal is to catch up, there is no room for complaining.

Kiseki: 5/5
Boar: 4/4

Kiseki glanced over at a lone boar. No other mobs were around it making it an easy target. Kiseki grinned feeling like it may be easier than he though. He ran towards the boar and quickly unsheathed his scimitar which was sheathed on a scabbard attached to his back. The boar looked over noticing Kiseki running towards it. It wasn't able to match Kiseki's speed and had it's body slashed at. The boar swung its tusks around going on a frenzy. It's eyes were shut and the attacks were random so all Kiseki had to do is take a quick step back and allowed the boar to miss everything.

Kiseki: 5/5
Boar: 2/4

Kiseki wanted to know a little bit more about how the mobs were like, so he ran in and took a few weak swings at the boar. None of them were meant to connect with it. It was just a test to see how the boar would move. A few swings were needed to see the boar's movements. The boar could only duck and move back quick enough. It wasn't dodging to the sides in any way. The boar took this opportunity to charge at Kiseki. The tusks were clearly gonna be the one that would connect with Kiseki's body so he jumped up and kicked the boar back which launched Kiseki forward. He rolled on the ground once he landed and quickly turned around. The boar was already facing him and was ready to charge again.

Kiseki: 5/5
Boar: 2/4

Kiseki charged at the boar causing it to charge at him back. Once he got close enough, Kiseki stopped and slid to the side. The boar was surprised and looked at Kiseki's way. Its side was completely vulnerable now. Kiseki brought his scimitar up and swung it downwards on the boar's side. The boar would then start to glow and shatter into pieces. A menu popped up showing Kiseki's loot. He gained a material item he could use for crafting. He was pretty disappointed. At the moment he doesn't craft anything. At least he could use it for later.

Unfortunately Kiseki got lucky with that one boar. All the other boars around the area were all in groups or pairs. Kiseki did notice a slight change in something though. He leveled up from the last battle. It's not much but he was getting somewhere. Maybe fighting a pair of boars won't be so bad. That is if all the boars were like the first one he fought. He's still getting used to the video game so there's no telling if the next boar will be the same or different. It's not possible to ask questions with nobody around to ask one. Kiseki might as well take a risk.

Kiseki: 7/7
Boar: 4/4

So maybe fighting a couple boars was not the brightest idea at all. It's a good thing Kiseki found one that walked away from it's other pair. It looks little angry to be disturbed. Maybe it's because Kiseki killed one earlier.  ran towards a boar and slashed sideways at it. The boar flinched a little, but then retaliated with a quick stab to Kiseki's stomach with its tusks. Kiseki noticed his health bar drop. He kicked the boar back and made a large distance between him and the boar. It's time for his attack again.

Boar: 2/4

Kiseki dashed in and jumped over the boar. He wanted to finish it quickly so he slashed at its behind. Just like the first boar he killed, this one glowed and shattered. A menu would again pop up showing Kiseki's reward. It was another material item. Kiseki could care less now. He killed a couple boars and was starting to get used to the combat system. He decided to accept the reward and head back to the city. It wasn't dark so an inn was not necessary. His plan was to find a random bench in the city and lay on it for a bit. A nap was most likely gonna occur.

Another training day was mean for Kiseki. Other than getting better, Kiseki has thought of getting new gear and some Col. At the moment he basically has nothing. Lately he's been fighting boars. Since he leveled up again he wants to try go for wolves. Maybe fighting a couple of wolves would help. Kiseki isn't really completely sure though. There are also some quests Kiseki has thought of going on. He just needs a quest that'll be good for his level and have good enough rewards. Rewards that would prove to be useful to Kiseki.

Kiseki: 9/9
Wolf: 5/5

Kiseki encountered his first wolf very close to Starting City. Once the two started staring at each other the wolf would already be growling. Kiseki slowly unsheathed his scimitar and held it with one hand. He watched the wolf very closely and would wait for its first move. The wolf immediately lunged at Kiseki. An easy attack to dodge by sliding to the side. The wolf's side was wide open allowing Kiseki to have a shot that shouldn't miss. Unfortunately Kiseki thought it would be like the boar. The only problem is that the wolf was much faster than a boar. Kiseki swung but did it to slow. He left himself wide open for the wolf.

Kiseki: 9/9
Wolf: 5/5

The wolf ran in and bit Kiseki in the arm where he wields his scimitar. Kiseki retaliated by trying to punch the wolf, but the wolf let go and would then bite Kiseki in the gut. The wolf jumped back once again to avoid Kiseki's slash. It tried to lunge at Kiseki once more but noticed him swing. The wolf would immediately stop its attack causing it to slip and fall onto its side. Kiseki's hit wasn't able to connect with the wolf. He made some distance between him and the wolf. He looked at his arm and stomach and noticed the wounds. He needs to be more careful.

Kiseki: 5/9
Wolf: 5/5

The wolf lunged once more. Kiseki took a quick step back and swung at it diagonally. The wolf ducked down and would aim for Kiseki's gut again. Knowing the trick, Kiseki quickly would use his knee on the wolf's face. It would be stunned shaking its head. Once it looked up, Kiseki's sword would have already made contact with the wolf's face. This time the wolf made the distance between the two fighters. It growled and snarled at Kiseki showing it was angry. Kiseki slowly grabbed the bottom part of the sword's handle with his left hand. He was a little excited fighting this wolf. It made his heart pump.

Wolf: 2/5

Both Kiseki and the wolf both started their charges. As they came close enough for combat, the wolf slide pass Kiseki. It turned around and took a bite out of Kiseki's back. He quickly took the attack and turned with his sword in a slicing motion. The blade came in contact with the wolf's head causing the wolf to rip out a chunk of pixels as he was launched. The wolf landed on the ground and started to glow. The wolf shattered, but no menu came up. Kiseki's health bar was very low. He was disappointed that the wolf gave him trouble and now he didn't get any type of item drop. He laughed a little knowing that some players out their could take out a wolf much easier compared to Kiseki.

The sun was beginning to set. The mobs of the grassland would soon walk away notifying the players that they would be "sleeping." It amazed Kiseki that the virtual world looked just like the real world. Except maybe it's unrealistically more beautiful. Graphics like these probably would never come out in a console game. A thought like this would bring a grin upon Kiseki's face. It was time to head towards Starting City where it would be safer. The first day of training finished up. The second day may be harder, easier, or the same. Kiseki still has the same goal and it's to catch up to other players.

Starting City wasn't as crowded compared to earlier today. Players were out shopping and socializing. Unfortunately Kiseki has no time for socializing at a time like this. At the moment the town was dark with lights on in certain places. There were still players talking to one another, but the shopping was almost none. Of course everyone was sleeping in the inn. Kiseki hopes that the inn isn't uncomfortable. That would completely ruin his mood. He just struggled fighting a wolf. A freaking wolf. Something that most players probably don't struggle with. All the thoughts allowed him to enter the inn without realizing it. A room was requested and a key was given. Once Kiseki entered his room, he let out a sigh of relief. It was pretty much an average room. Kiseki would take off some gear and would lie down on the bed. He slept like a log.

Once again Starting City was crowded. It was a little irritating but Kiseki could deal with it. He was getting excited. He went from Level 1 to Level 4 in one day. He knows that he can't spend all his time fighting wolves and boars the whole time he plays this game. Apparently at the moment wolves and boars are just right for him. He was currently headed to the grasslands but with all the people crowding around the darn city it was almost impossible. At times like these Kiseki was very happy he wasn't a person with a short temper. At least sometimes.

Kiseki: 11/11
Wolf: 6/6

It was really, really, really, quick for Kiseki to find a lone wolf wandering. All it took was a taunt for them to start fighting. Kiseki made the first move. He ran in and made a quick and easy slice at the wolf's front legs. The wolf tried to jump in for a  bite attack, but immediately failed due to its slashed legs. Kiseki once again went for a quick and easy attack. He ran in and jumped over the wolf. He slashed at it's vulnerable back causing it to whimper afterwards. The wolf turned and successfully dove at Kiseki. The wolf wasn't quick enough so Kiseki moved to his side and let the wolf pass. As soon as it landed, it turned and snarled at Kiseki. He decided to hold his scimitar with both hands. He took a deep breath and started thinking on where to hit his target.

Wolf: 2/6

Kiseki charged in and went for his third easy strike. It was a slice down on the wolf's face for a quick finish. Unfortunately the wolf saw it coming and slid to one of its sides. Once Kiseki's hit crashed on the ground, he was vulnerable. The wolf jumped in and took a bite out of Kiseki's arm. Kiseki quickly grabbed the wolf and threw it farther away from him. Kiseki then ran in and tried the same location on where to hit, but it was a heavier attack. The wolf dodged the attack and bit Kiseki in the same arm. Once again Kiseki threw the wolf farther away from him. He was starting to get irritated. Maybe it's time to get "serious."

Kiseki: 9/11
Wolf: 2/6

Kiseki charged the wolf as fast as he can. The wolf would do the same. As soon as Kiseki and the wolf met, Kisek stopped and slid to the side allowing the wolf to run pass him. Kiseki used a quick diagonal strike to the wolf's side causing it to be launched back. The wolf would glow and shatter into millions of pixels. Unfortunately, there was no menu that popped up in front of Kiseki. Annoyed, Kiseki stormed off looking for another foe to fight. He had enough health to fight just one more. Depending on how that fight goes, he'll probably fight another one afterwards.

It was probably a good time for Kiseki to underestimate himself. He didn't have full health and was about to go fight some monsters. Maybe he could win, but it'd be a risk. He was lying down on top of a hill with his weapon sheathed. He was feeling relaxed as he would stare at the sky. It was probably the afternoon. Kiseki was a little to lazy to check at the moment. If anything, he was just waiting for his health bar to go back to normal. It didn't take long luckily. It's because he barely took any damage from the wolf he fought.

Kiseki: 11/11
Wolf: 6/6

After the break Kiseki immediately purposely encountered a wolf. He taunted the wolf with his free hand causing to to snarl and charge. It was a very quick one. It already bit onto Kiseki's hand as soon as its anger was triggered. Kiseki tried swinging down on the wolf with his scimitar, but the wolf dodged by letting go. It would immediately dive in for a bit into the stomach, but Kiseki slid to the side causing a clear miss. Kiseki took this opportunity to hit the wolf's behind, but the wolf turned and rolled out of the way. It seems that this battle would be a test of speed.

Kiseki: 10/11
Wolf: 6/6

Both Kiseki and the wolf jumped at each other. Normally, something successful would have happened at a time like this. Instead, the wolf and Kiseki both bumped their heads against each other. Probably something very humiliating if other players were around to see. Maybe even if other mobs assuming emotions were programmed into them. Luckily for both Kiseki and the wolf mob, nobody was around. After rolling on the ground for a bit, both stood up and glared at each other. It'll be something to laugh at in the future. At least the winner will laugh looking back at it.
