[SP-F3] For Leather Armor <<Worn out Welcome>> COMPLETE

Blue sat there with his new sword stashed away in his inventory. He has yet to find any use for the item and... well... he needed armor. Desperately. Currently, he does not have the greatest equipment ever... having no armor or charm and only being able to use a longsword in battle. Blue sighed as he looked at the sky. He'd heard that there was an NPC shop on floor 3 that will make armor immediately for you if you gather material for them. However, the armor they make are nowhere as good as the armor made by most players. It'll have to do. He thought. He, himself was a tailor and he was hoping that he could make an armor for himself eventually. But until that time, he'll just have to use the basic armor crafted to him by this NPC. He made up his mind to go check this place out on floor 3... not to mention that this will be the first time he's ever been to that floor. His excitement got to the best of him and so... he charged toward the end of the safe zone where he shall soon reach floor 3.

Blue reached the third floor but he wasn't paying attention to the scenery and the environment. Ain't nobody got time for that. He thought as he hurried toward the NPC armor shop. As he entered, he took a deep breath, hoping that the owner of the shop was quite nice and friendly... Turns out, there were actually two owners. A man called Griswold who Blue thought mainly made heavy armor while the other owner was Griswold's wife, Hanna. Hanna seemed to be the person that Blue needed to see in order for him to obtain leather armor. He sighed before approaching the couple and asking, "I need leather armor... What shall I do?" He asked simply, prepared to set out on the journey that Griswold and Hanna would soon send him on. He was sent to floor 1 in order to gather boar leather from boars that he shall kill. He would have to kill four but with his current level... they should be easy.

Blue sighed. He figured that he might as well get started on the task since he was going to have to gather four different boar leather from different boars. This is such a drag. He thought as he walked into the fields of floor 1. He'd only been here this morning and so he knew where the boars were located. He really disliked grinding since he thought it was terribly boring but his interest is only a small price to pay if he was to become better geared. He looked around to see a boar that looked like it was weak yet could give some loot upon death and engaged in battle.

Blue charged toward the boar, hoping to start off the battle in a good way. He'd been practicing his fighting skills, hoping that he could fight and kill mobs with ease. However, getting the first attack wasn't as simple as he thought and hoped it would be. He managed to miss his target entirely and also allowing the boar to attack back immediately, which it did. The boar managed to knock Blue to the ground with a charge straight into the stomach of Blue.

Blue charged once again, hoping that he would be able to inflict some kind of damage this time instead of just missing like last time. He sighed in disappointment when he managed to miss once again. What happened to the precision skill I just invested in? He thought in full seriousness. His brows furrowed when the boar didn't even attempt to dodge the attack as his sword struck no where near the target. Blue snickered when the boar prepared to strike back as well.

The boar charged toward Blue, hoping that it could deal even more damage than the last attack. However, Blue has already prepared for the attack and he dodged it with ease before standing up once again with his long sword in his right hand to hopefully deal some damage next attack.

Blue sighed when he saw that the boar still had a full health bar. He wasn't confident at the moment with his fighting skills and when he charged at the boar once more, he had a feeling that he will miss this attack as well. Indeed, his feelings have not failed him and yet, he missed once more. His sword was able to hit nothing but thin air once again and as the boar dodged his attack, it prepared itself for an attack of its own.

Blue cursed when he'd been hit by the boar's weak attack. His health bar was slowly tickling down and he was quite worried about that. The boar, however, was quite happy at the moment. It was helped quite a bit by the system... not gonna lie, but eventually he will be able to wreck them boars once he gets to his strive.

Blue walked around, growing the tension trying to wait it out before he saw an opportunity to strike when the boar backed up into a boulder. Here we go. He thought before charging toward the boar, hoping to finally deal some damage. However, as Blue's sword came down at the boar, it managed to dodge to the left just in time to avoid being hit by the sword belonging to Blue. Blue cursed when he realized that his right side was wide open for the boar to attack.

Indeed, the boar took advantage of this opening, it tackled Blue right on the side, forcing him to the left from the force of the attack. **** Blue thought as he fell to the ground in astonishment. He stood back up to see the boar staring at him with violence in it eyes.

Blue was getting quite frustrated at the bias directed toward the boar. It was obvious that the boar was getting all the help from the system itself. He knew that he had better stats and better equipment than the boar... everything he had directed to him having already won the fight. However, he was not going to give up. He charged toward the boar yet once again, with surprisingly impossible speed, the boar managed to dodge the attack easily. I still have three more left to fight. He realized, not sure of how he might continue. Argh... 

The boar, having dodged the attack immediately charged toward the player. It managed to charge straight into the chest of the boy, dealing quite a bit of damage with a critical this time. With a snort, it dodged back, prepared to dodge the next attack coming from the boy.

Blue sighed... quite desperate of having good luck for once. I'll try once more. He thought as he charged toward the boar. The boar, having been prepared for this sudden attack immediately dodged to the left. However, even though Blue managed to read the boar's movements, he was still unable to direct his attack back to the boar. Blue frowned, knowing that the game was rigged at this point. **** He thought once again as he retreated to avoid the boar's attack.

The boar, having been programmed to successfully land hits did so this turn. It's attack was absolutely impossible to dodge as Blue was knocked down onto the ground. He was really starting to lose hope at this point having almost had half of his health cut down by the boar and being unable to deal a single damage to the boar as well. I might die here to a single boar. He thought... realizing the truth.

Blue really didn't want to die this early in the game. He was just not going to... but he was getting desperate. Death might be faced if he didn't land a hit on this filthy mob of the system. With a face of determination, he charged toward the boar mob with his hands tightly gripped on the long sword. Finally, after such a hard time of trying to hit a mob, and missing all those attempts, he finally managed to hit the mob. Karma! He thought as he successfully hit the mob with a second degree critical. His attack managed to slice right into the back of the boar. He smirked, finally able to land a hit as well as the bleed enhancement.

The boar attacked back with less confidence having just been hit. The boar managed to miss to Blue's surprise. Maybe my luck is turning. He guessed with absolute comfort before preparing to strike right away to catch the boar off guard.

Blue hoped that his attacks would continue to hit the target. He really didn't want to take much more damage from this attack. He sighed in disappointment when he once again managed to miss the target. **** He thought in disgust with how the game was ran. He frowned before predicting that the boar was probably going to end up hitting him with its attack, turning it into chaos once again. Luckily, despite the fact that he'd missed his attack, the boar was still able to be affected by the bleed enhancement inflicted upon it.

The boar did indeed try and take advantage of the time that Blue used to recover from missing his attack. The boar jumped high into the air before coming down only to miss Blue by quite a slim amount. That was close. Blue thought, afraid of what would've happened if he'd been hit.

Blue eyed as the boar circled around the target. He stared into the eyes of the boar, hoping to catch it off guard by intimating it with his cold stare. Blue finally saw when the boar blinked and immediately sprouted into action by charging toward the mob. Yes! He thought before realizing that the boar had just managed to dodge the attack. Blue sighed. A stalemate... what happened to the accuracy I'd recently invested in? He thought.

The boar, having almost been attacked by the player decided to strike back immediately. However, the boar did not aim at all, trying to focus entirely on speed. Blue managed to dodge the attack without even bearing a sweat. The attack managed to miss the the player by a country mile without Blue even trying to dodge the attack.

Blue sighed as he charged once more toward the boar. The bleed status inflicted upon the boar had vanished already. Shoot! He thought as he flew toward the boar only to miss the target by quite a distance. Blue watched as the boar made its move at just the right time to dodge the attack but only barely. Blue's eyes grew wide, however, when the boar managed to position itself in the perfect position to launch a counter attack to catch Blue off-guard.

Blue had realized that he was about to be hit by the teeth of the mob with a bite attack. His eyes grew even wider when he was stuck right in the stomach. Argh. He thought as he was knocked into the ground with the attack. So... another critical from the boar huh game? He asked, cursing the system of SAO at the moment.

Blue needed to end the fight soon so he can take a rest and perhaps come back later. He really didn't like his luck at the moment and he might need to do something to change that luck. With a grin, he could feel that he will kill the mob at the instant with his sword skill. Blue smiled when his blade managed to strike right into the back of the mob to allow it to burst into millions and millions of different green and blue pieces. Not bad. He thought as he finally calmed down to allow his heart to beat slower since he was sure that it was beating way too fast than it would normally. With a sigh, he checked if he'd gotten any loot at all. Indeed, he'd gotten a boar leather from that... but this task might take a long time before he could finish it. He sighed before going into the safe zone where he would rest a bit.

Blue found a random park bench where he decided he would just sit down and take a deep breath before venturing back outside the safety of the starting town to eventually finish off the task given to him by the armor makers. He'd only gotten one so far and he needed four. He was only a quarter of the progress in and it was already about noon at the moment. Thus, he guessed that he'll probably take at least two days in order to complete the task that had been given to him. With perhaps the tenth time he'd sighed that day, he stood up and decided that he'll probably go out material gathering to recover some health as well as gather some material as well.

Blue sighed in disappointment, thinking about how long it would take for his health to heal up. He really didn't want to waste that much time before he was able to obtain the armor. He reached the fields where there was a plentiful amount of boars... just waiting for players to kill them for EXP and loot. Argh... how annoying I have to wait for this. He thought before looking into the forest and heading that way where he would soon find some apples. Nevertheless, his feet moved with impatience, not willing to wait so long in order to get his new leather armor. This is so annoying. He thought, remembering what he experienced the last time he went material gathering.

Blue looked around for some apples hanging around to see that there were indeed quite a bit of apples around. Seems like more has popped up since the last time I was here. He thought. Well... this is a video game. He thought, trying to figure out how apples managed to grow in the first few days. Nevertheless, he walked around, not really caring how that happens. Whatever. He thought in complete impatience. Well... I guess I'll just wait it out. He decided before going over to pluck out a full grown red apple from the top of a green plant. Sick. He thought as he inspected the find. Looks like my luck is turning back. He thought.

Blue smiled when he heard birds chirping away in the sunlight above. What a beautiful sound. He thought as he walked around the forest full of apples. He felt dreamy and sleepy as the bright, powerful sun shone upon his face. How warm. He thought as he felt his eye lids drop. However, his eyes grew wide open as he managed to spot a bright red apple in the distance. Another one?! He thought before slapping himself, wondering if he was dreaming or not. Whateves. He thought before slowly walking over and plucking the big apple from the tree. That's two apples in two attempts. He thought in pride and complete happiness. Sick. He thought as he put the apple in his material inventory.

Blue looked around the same tree to hopefully find some more apples nearby. He could sense the afternoon approaching and he did not want to spend much time to gather material and waste much precious time which he could spend fighting those boars instead. Nevertheless, he decided that he would try once more to gather some apples. He looked at the surrounding patches of greenness before seeing that there was indeed an apple tree nearby that was probably climbable but was probably quite hard to do so. With a shrug, he walked up to the tree and started climbing it. Well... not bad. He thought when he almost got the the closest apple, falling short by only one. Worth a try.

Blue once again tried to grab onto the lowest branch of the tree, hoping that he could get this apple quickly without much hassle or pain. Eh... He thought, does it really matter? I have as much time as possible. He climbed onto the tree, looking for the apple that he'd just tried to obtain. There it was! He thought, seeing the familiar shape of the apple before taking a leap of faith and trying to grab the apple when he fell onto the ground with nothing in his hands. Well... on the positive side... I was quite close this time as well. He thought before standing up, not willing to give up on this apple despite the fact that he was waiting for his armor to be created as well.

Once again, Blue looked around, hoping that he would be able to be lucky once again and find a few more apples before night falls. Well... night was pretty much already here. With a sigh, he saw another apple hanging off in a short tree. He decided that going for it would probably be a great decision considering the fact that he'd probably get one more material while healing almost all of his health up. He figured that it would take about another hour before night falls entirely on the world of SAO and danger starts to lurk from the night time. Nevertheless, he charged at the apple to gain some momentum and at the right time, he jumped up into the air, only to miss the target by quite a bit. Oh well... Im really just trying to recover some health. He thought, trying to comfort himself.
