Mack 0 Posted September 1, 2015 Author #21 Report Share Posted September 1, 2015 ID: 29822BD: 6 (5+1)MD: 3Mack: 40/53 Ghost: 16/50 (-8 Dam., -2 Bleed)For what seemed to be the hundredth time since he had entered the Mausoleum of King Minos on this quest, the blonde haired warrior threw back the snowy white cowl of his armor and narrowed his eyes dangerously at the shade of King Minos, growling from somewhere deep in his chest. Mack was tired of being hurled around the stone chamber like a rag doll. Getting back to his feet, the axe man spat on the ground and then held out his left hand and made a come and get it gesture to Minos. Obligingly, the creature started forward and once it was in range Mack dashed forward with his right hand up near the bearded head of Guillotine. When he was in close Mack swung his right fist, protected by the blade and slammed an uppercut into the creature's jaw before ducking backwards to avoid the retaliatory strike. Mack wasn't sure if that was more or less creepy than what the result would have been if Minos actually had made a noise. Of course, he also wasn't overly concerned with such things at the moment as he was more focused on bringing down the boss. Leaning backwards as Minos launched another punch, Mack watched as the blow sailed by in front of his face where his head had been a moment before and changed his grip on Guillotine so he could swing the steel headed axe with an uppercut stroke that slammed into the shade's chin and would have blasted it off of its feet, if it had been standing on anything resembling feet. Mack 0 Posted September 1, 2015 Author #23 Report Share Posted September 1, 2015 ID: 29827BD: 11 (10+1)MD: 1LD: 2 (Boo... no loot)Mack: 40/53 Ghost: -2/50 (-10 Dam.)As his uppercut to the shade's jaw connected Mack shifted his feet backing off another step to give himself even more room to work with as he shifted both his hands to the very end of the haft of his axe before swinging it in a wide flat arc on a trajectory that would cause the blade to intersect with the head of the shade in a horrifyingly violent manner. Had it been the zombie Minos, Mack felt sure he would have blasted the creature's head clear across the chamber to slam into the far wall. As it was he had to settle for the momentary flash of the bladed head blasting into the creature before it exploded into a shower of pixels, leaving the quest amulet hanging there in midair for Mack to take. Quickly, he snapped up the nondescript amulet and added it to his inventory.
