[PP-F1] Brothers in Arms - Round 2 (Endilix) - Complete!

Emerath had told himself that he would be ready this time, and he was. However, it appeared to be Endilix who was not ready. Next thing he knew the boar had flung him backwards into the dirt, and Emerath found himself running over worried. His brother's HP bar only moved minimally. He supposed that Endilix's armor and shield was more than enough to withstand even the boar's hardest of hits, but Endilix still seemed to be pretty out of it. His brother was breathing heavily, clearly tired, and he wasn't able to get him up so that he could heal him. Emerath gave a huff, and before he knew it, Endilix had a gauntleted hand on his chest and was pushing him away to go in for another attack. Emerath crossed his arms, "You need to let me heal you!"

Endilix was getting tired of this fight. He walked up to the boar, and he stood in front of it for a moment. It grunted and stared at him with its black, beady eyes, and Endilix stared back. Finally, Endilix gave a roar of anger, and brought his hammer around, hoping to surprise the boar before it could react, and sure enough his calm demeanor, followed by the sudden attack, seemed to pay off. Endilix hit the boar square on the side of the face with the hammer, and despite that the boar's health still only dropped slightly, he felt a bit better about things. But the boar wasn't just going to take it lying down, as it turned and kicked Endilix firmly in the chest. Endilix grunted as he slid backwards in the dirt, his health dropping another point. He shook it off, and readied himself once more.

Emerath was tired of his brother's obstinance for his healing, and decided to take out his rage on the boar. After the firm smack that Endilix gave it, Emerath ran up to the boar, and gave it a square kick to the snout. The boar staggered and Emerath made his way to the side again to give Endilix the space to switch in for what looked like the final blow. At least, so Emerath hoped. The boar was dangerously in the red now, and one more swift blow ought to finally finish the creature off.

Endilix was done with this fight. He stood, staring down the boar after watching his brother go in for a strike. It was a solid strike, and he watched the boar's health dwindle. Endilix took a step forward as the boar shook off Emerath blow. It looked up at him and gave a squeal, but Endilix already had his hammer held high. Endilix gave a battle cry as he brought the hammer down, not giving the boar enough time to react before smashing the skull of the creature. Endilix huffed as the creature's last remaining health point dropped away and the boar exploded into a flurry of pixels around him. He was finally done killing that creature. He took a step back, and took a look at Emerath. "I'm so done with today. That boar wasn't even hard. It was just... hard to kill."

Endilix watched as a loot window popped up in front of him and gave an annoyed, "Tch," as all he received was a crafting material. He pressed the button to send the loot to Emerath before he closed the loot window. He was tired.

Emerath could tell that his brother was incredibly worn out from the fight, and he walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, let's go ahead and call it a day." he said, as he saw that Endilix had sent him the crafting material. Emerath accepted it, and thanked Endilix for the gesture. He gave his brother a firm pat on the shoulder and began to walk back towards the Town of Beginnings. He felt that they had grown a lot as combatants and as teammates despite how long and harrowing that combat had been. Emerath actually looked forward to the next time they decided to go hunting together.
