"This is probably about the time that I should tell you I can't swim," Azide conceded, as he rubbed the back of his neck. He folded his arms across his chest and cleared his throat, before tucking the hand away. "It's not that I don't know how to swim- I've done plenty of reading on the subject, mind you. I'm just lacking in hands-on experience is all." He took a slow, deep breath through his nostrils, before breathing out slowly through his mouth. Once, he'd even written a physics paper on the mechanics behind swimming, as a sort of biological benchmark to which he could compare artificial methods of water propulsion. So it was safe to say that he'd seen all of the charts and diagrams, and was more than familiar with the techniques employed.
