[PP-F9] Abstract (Shizuka, Daeron)

Emblem opened his eyes and looked around the inn room. Recently he had begun staying at the volcanic covered floor 9. Emblem got out of his bed and equipped a blue tank top and tan shorts then headed down the stairs to the base floor of the inn and left the building. He looked around at the ash ridden floor and tried to see if he could find some type of cold area near him. He felt beads of sweat begin to form on his forehead as he searched. At last he found a set of benches under shade shelters near the teleport pad. Emblem whistled and waited for his familiar to come to him. He looked up at the sky to see his ice dragon fly down to him obviously exhausted from the heat.

Indeed. Shizuka was going to take a break. She's had way too much rushed times of quests and boss fighting and now was a great opportunity for her gentle self to have a rest in this busy world of Aincrad. With a sigh, Shizuka has arrived on this floor of volcanic activity. It was really a very intimidating place for someone like her to be but from her prior questing experience, she has really gotten used to this place. She really didn't hope for adventure today... just some sort of casual material gathering or perhaps a meeting with other characters and her wishes were satisfied when she had aimlessly wandered around the floor to discover a young, blonde kid holding an ice dragon. This, of course, perked Shizuka's interests. She, too, was aiming to obtain a familiar that would help her as a support soon and she really didn't have an idea of what kind of familiar she would go for. However, she might actually go for a nice fire dragon now that she's seen how cool a dragon was like. Plus, the boy also seemed quite lonely just sitting there... sitting there by himself... It was as if he's not very happy. Shizuka sighed before approaching the blonde child who appears to be no more than 13 years old. With a warm smile, she said, "It's a nice morning out here right? How's your day been?" She asked, ready to start a conversation with the blonde, hoping that she might be able to make a very young friend from this experience.

Daeron had been off the radar for a long time. He was sure that many thought he might have been dead. He can assure these people he wasn't. In fact he was very much alive, but since he can't enter towns as he had his player killer status from nearly the beginning of his introduction to sword art online. It's been a long time and to be quite frank, he didn't care to leave the game. He had nothing waiting for him but a job, so why leave paradise right?

Stretching his arms in the heat of the red sand and the dry, humid air, he closed his eyes. He was glad that sweat didn't actually smell through his golden clad armor, because he'd been wearing this thing for months and pretty much never took it off. The golden hair moved through the wind like thin, pointed fingers raking the air. Life was boring and seemed like it would never change as he couldn't meet new people and those that he did actually meet were too afraid to be near him.

[Skipping Emblem due to lack of response]

Shizuka sighed. It seems like the boy had failed to recognize her existence and had decided that he would like to completely ignore her, so be it. Shizuka had what she wanted to do and if a player wants to simply not do anything when she greets them, she'll just walk away and that was exactly what she did. She had shown such good manner in greeting the boy only for her to be completely ignored with some sort of blank stare and some ridiculous silence that responded to her greetings. This sure reminded her of how the world was full of ridiculous players... some being big-mouths while others remain in silence no matter what others say to them. Shizuka minded not... She had no time for such nonsense.

After walking away, she soon reached a decision that it was a good time to go out for some material gathering here ninth floor. It was quite a high floor to be honest, but it was a nice floor... A bit hot and full of volcanoes but firestones were good to search for here. However, when she reached the edge of the main town, she looked out to see a player sitting down on the ground. While she remained inside the safe zones, she checked the guy out to realize that he was marked with the status "Player Killer" With a gasp, she hopped back, avoiding accidentally walking out. Of course, a player killer could've killed for many reasons but no matter how you look at it, they have still managed to kill someone either accidentally or non-accidentally

Daeron had nearly fallen into a slumber when he was alerted by a gasp. Based on the pitch of the gasp he could tell that it wasn't male and definitely not too old either. He didn't exactly show any sign that he noticed the player, but he could tell she was there. It wasn't until a couple seconds later that he could tell she will not be coming out of that safe zone.

Taking his weapon he threw it before the exit of the town to show he was unarmed. "I'm not going to hurt you, you simply caught me while trying to catch a nap, but I guess even that's a crime for someone like me now huh?" He groaned and complained, but on the flip side, he wasn't even upset. In fact, he had nothing better to do, so he saw no reason as to why he should go scaring people off.

Shizuka looked at the blonde man. Indeed, he was quite muscular and looked mature... Plus, there was a certain feeling of confidence plus arrogance around him. However, despite the fact that he would've been the ideal archetypal hero, he was still a player killer. He was unable to enter towns and he had completed a crime against humanity by killing a player and sending his existence away from the living world... and from this virtual prison. In a way, the blonde man had committed what was equivalent to murder in the real world... In fact, it was pretty much murder because once you die in this world, it is over... There is no coming back... Not even in the real world. With a sigh, Shizuka looked at the man once more. "What sin have you committed to earning that special orange icon from the game? How come you have a Player Killer Icon on?" Shizuka said. Indeed, it was completely possible for someone to have acted upon self-defense and killed someone or it could've been that he had accidentally committed murder. Still, killing is killing and there is no way around it if you have decided that placing a sword into someone's heart was a good decision. Her eyes lit up. This man does look a bit intimidating with that strength which he looked like he had and the blood-red eyes that he had. Shizuka shivered as she met the man's eye. What an unusual eye color. Shizuka thought.
