Recommended Posts

"Right... the boss." Although the wanderer has delved into a dungeon before, this was his second time in one. The thought of fighting the boss still scared him. But he has to face his fears if he wants to survive. That said, he began to walk forward into the dark corridors of this ruined halls.

After a few minutes of scouring, the wanderer quickly spots a large door. As door, he quiet familiarly remembers. "Hey Macradon." He called out to his companion boldly, in hopes that he's still behind him. He never once turned around this entire time. Turning around quickly, "I think I found there boss's door."

He would get up and walk around with Rain, trying to spot the boss room so they could get over with the dungeon. It only took Rain a few minutes to spot a door in the wall where it seemed to be the boss room entrance. "Ah, seems like you found it, goo job" he said and would look at his Energy Gauge "And my energy is soon up full so we can engage on the boss" he said and smiled at Rain. Macradon would ready himself for a battle that would be swift, as a 5th floor boss wouldn't be a problem in itself.

The wanderer looked at Macradon wanting to make sure he's ready to go in. He knew that Mac's going to be doing all the work, the least he could do is support him and help him get ready. "You ready?" As Mac tell the wanderer that he's ready, he steady pushes the door. Soon, they'll be dealing with the boss. Hopefully, Macradon can take care of this thing quickly.

The wanderer took a quick gulp once the doors open. A large giant began moving through the shadows. It's large bright red eyes glared through the darkness. The stench of blood still lingered in the air from former adventurers that wanderer in the dungeon. It let a savage roar, letting know that it knew they finally came to his chamber. Taken aback, the wanderer hurried through his inventory and took out an Over Life I.

Macradon would look at Rain as it seemed both of them were ready to fight. Macradon would take in a deep breath before engaging onto what seemed to be the boss. A big scaled bipedal lizard, this was the boss. It was bigger, much larger than its regular swarming mobs down here, this was the boss that they wanted to find so they could finish it off. Rain asked him a question and Macradon would strike a smile "Of course" he said. He would begin to sprint towards the boss, activating his <Charge> skill to rush into the fight and get a good hit on it. 4 deadly swipes would take out over half its health already, leaving just a bit left that would surely be taken away by Macradon's next attack.

The wanderer watched as the knight ran in without a fear in the world. With four clean swings of his giant sword, he cut through more than half of the boss' health. The wanderer quickly took to his blade. He didn't want to be useless in this fight at all. He quickly followed Macradon's attack with an attack of his own. With one clean swing of his blade, the wanderer slices upwards and tosses the large lizard high into the air before it could do anything.

A gleam in the red eyes of the giant lizard warned Macradon that something was about to happen, but Rain was able to knock it up, out of position for a second, which gave Macradon an opportunity to go in for an attack. The boss would react and quickly deflect the obvious attack Macradon threw at it while it was up in the air "Dammit, my attacks were too telegraphed" he said as he would get back again to get his next attack off with more discrete actions. He would grit his teeth, trying to figure out a way to attack the beast without it noticing which angle the attack would come from.

The wanderer jumped around the battlefield frantically trying to think of what to do next. If he were to attack and his next attack were to land, he could be in big trouble. He looked to Macradon is hopes that he could finish this boss already, but sadly his attacks hit nothing, but air. It seems as though the large lizard had managed to angle himself in midair enough to deflect Macradon's attack.

As the large lizard fell to the ground, it began to shift it's stance. It's eyes began to glow a darker red. It's face grew more fierce. Suddenly, it jumped into the air, and landed on top of Macradon with it's giant bladed weapon smashed unto the ground directly at Macradon. Unfortunately, Macradon's armor was sadly too thick for it's attack.

Macradon's hopes were falling to pieces again. He could feel the miss streak happen again, it was close, very close to him. He would grit his teeth and take a deep breath before he would open his eyes up again and focus. He would look up, but just as he did, his helmet would deflect and attack, making it slide to the side and land on his half-plate armor, trapping it in front of him. He would snicker as he saw the big beast in front of him. The damage that was dealt to him was negated mostly by his armor and was then regenerated by his enhancements on his armor. "Point blank, I like it" he said as he would lift his foot up and push back the big reptile. Going into a high ox guard with his hands crossed at his right side, the blade slightly slanted downwards and the point directly at the lizard, the Cardinal system would recognize the beginning of a sword art. A quick thrust would makes its way forward as it was engulfed in a bright shimmering lidt and would proceed stab deeply into the big lizard. Macradon would begin to turn to the right by the Cardinal system's guide and would make a full 360 spin around to make a slash diagonally from lower left to upper right. A quick adjustment of the grip of the sword would change the attack to a downwards slash, going down the same path it went up. Down into a fool's guard, Macradon would launch 2 fierce stabs into the belly of the big boss, take a long step back and then a powerful thrust by his leg forward, making a powerful stab at the chest of the beast, dealing enough damage to take it out. The 7 last red marks on the lizard would make it disperse into pixels and crystals as it had been defeated. "Finally got my mojo back" he said and would smile at the view of a defeated enemy. He would look over at Rain as the two had proceeded to defeat the boss and reck the dungeon. "So ... should we leave?" he would ask and then look at the loot they had gotten from the dungeon and their hunt "Oh yeah, you can have this" he said and would open up a trade window and proceed to insert the materials they had gathered.
