  3. As per usual, Sin brought up the rear. But she was fine with that. Honestly, the last person to move in a party had a heavy responsibility. They needed to be able to pivot quickly. Set the tone for round two. But, this group usually didn’t see a Round Two. And even if they did, the target would likely be shaking off a stun. So it wouldn’t be until Round Three that they would need to be able to contend with any threats. So her “setting the tone of the next round” was oftentimes hitting the fucker as hard as she could to make sure the tone was that there was no next round. And so she did ju

  7. Sin was glad that she didn’t talk her shit when she swung and missed. Hardly anyone was on their game today. Maybe there was a lesson to be learned there. Take every boss seriously, no matter how far below your level they were? Nah. It was way too early in the morning. And their prep was not nearly as comprehensive as it usually was. Which made sense, the urgency of the situation didn’t allow for it. It would only take one person rushing out and they’d be in a bad way. Like the gentleman in the newbie clothes carrying that newbie weapon. Pushing through the crowd, he decided that his thir

  9. Finally, it was Sin’s turn. Bringing up the rear once more, she rushed forward and drilled the boss for everything he had. And she had quite a bit. The constant sniping had put her in a foul mood. To the point that she didn’t even know if it was worth it to go get her nails done after this. Though she didn’t want to cancel on her girl. It was hard to find people willing to pay through the nose for a manicure while everyone was in the middle of grinding through a death game. But she knew that she wasn’t going to be knocking on Oscar’s door tonight, like she had intended. Complicated relati
  10. “Do you really think the boss is going to be all that interesting, Sin?” Oscar question was a fair one. And it really only had one reply. “Nah, not really. You two are just insufferable. Especially you, Oscar. They might b NPCs but bullying is still bullying.” “Oh? Heart bleeding for the inanimate objects?” Sin launched her weapon through the air, her sword impaling the Ripper and pinning it to the ground. It shattered like glass and her weapon disappeared, only to reappear back in her hand. “No, but I would very much like to get back to my day. I have plans after this
  11. Sin was quick to join Lysette’s assault. The creatures in this dungeon were more sturdy than the ones they generally fought. It took two of them to lay the group low. Sin could see that - even at a distance. Lysette was no slouch, but if even she was struggling to deal enough damage to kill them outright, Sin wouldn’t let her flounder. After each one of Lysette’s strikes, Sin would follow up immediately. The combined force of their efforts would slay the monsters on by one. Each blow lowering the danger. Pushing them closer and closer to a moment’s peace where they didn’t need to concern
  12. Sin got the last hit. She wasn’t accustomed to being the last to move. But it was definitely a treat watching all of her friends jump the absolute hell out of what was supposed to be one of the hardest field bosses. It was nothing but a sitting duck the entire time, stunned and unable to evade the incoming punishment. And it turned out that they had more than enough damage to kill it before it even presented itself as a danger to the party. Which was always nice. The threat was just theater. At least to them. She shuddered to think what would happen if this boss managed to find its way to
