  1. A slide off of the chair as she was determined to not be babied, who knew how long it had been that she'd been looked after like an infant. "Let me try." Ruri shuffles next to Haine, close enough to smell her perfume. It was almost like she was a different person then before. "What do I do?" the blunette asks of her older mirror, barely able to tell if it wasn't for her hair and her name. That face was Haine's still left untouched, but her aura was drastically different. Softer, more contained and wise.

"I am confused, Onee-san" her voice trembled with that reverberation through time itself, leagues of that fabric folded in half with that spoken pet name. As if nothing had ever changed, and in a way it hurt and felt right at once. "I'm confused, I'm worried and I don't know what is what anymore. I barely recognize you now, I still feel the same." she murmured as she looked down to the pot and took over stirring it from her big sis. "I miss you too, but I don't feel like I know you now." She looks around the room and swallows hard, feeling like a total jerk for how she put it. "I know deep down that you're my sister, but I don't know how to act around you anymore. Like a stranger..." she bit her lower lip and stirred through it. "Everyone I knew forgot about me. It's so hard to just forget it." Ruri would stop there, she was trying her best to dance around what she was trying not to say. That she felt as though Haine had forgotten about her, looking at this building. How shocked she was to see her.

It was as if she died, was grieved and scarred over.

  2. Taking the first seat available to her, it was fine with Ruri as she eyed the little goon as it weebled through the place. A slide of that wooden chair across the polished floor below still made it screech just a bit, and the blunette plopped her butt into it. An aloof stare out of the large window, into the yard that was lit ablaze with light that reflected off the grass. A single butterfly with white wings, whisked through it and gave the girl something to ogle in almost mourning.

"Your cooking for real now..." Ruri muttered out of seemingly nowhere, looking to her older sister and could not help but see a mother. Their mother. Wearing an apron, behind a counter and chopping vegetables. A somber tone of her voice as she worked, like a housewife from some commercial or tv show. She just couldn't help to shake that feeling of regret, her stare fixated out of that large bay window. Here she was waiting for a meal to be made for her, a woman older than her. Her sister acting like a mom, doing all the work while she just sat here and brooded. Where did I go... she thought as a small cub continued to prod her ankle beneath the chair, and a glance down she would reply "Not now ok, I'm not in the mood Mishka." her brow furrowed in sadness "I'm sorry, but no."

  3. Ruri traced the creature as it fuzzed up and was trying to look intimidating. Instead, it only convinced her that it wasn't, like half of a banana in a coat. "I'll kick your little ass, don't tempt me penguin." Ruri snapped at it in a strange fueled ire, the girl was already dealing with a lot and this was making her a little overwhelmed. A inhale as she worked to calm that sudden outburst as she looked to her big sis "Sorry." she backpedaled and was worried she'd offended her. Keeping mouse quiet afterward, the bluenette hangs her head and follows behind Haine in her shame.

A few quiet and almost displaced footsteps through the glorious halls that were Haine's, she couldn't help but shake the feeling that this was much too big for one person. Ruri hadn't ever heard of a player owning pets, besides one familiar. Could she be mistaken? A look at the back of Haine's head as she would feel almost betrayed, but wanting to trust, big sis would tell her right? Remembering how she'd act around the older blunette's potential interests, she began to get the sense that she wasn't always receptive to the thought of lovers. A silent nod in response, guess she was to be cooking so soon after waking up. A weak smile, she knew that Haine just wanted to distract her. Allowing her to baby her for just a little bit couldn't hurt that bad.

  4. Ruri remembered floor 6, the huge canopy of trees and sticky moisture that clung in the air in its humidity. It felt almost like a lifetime ago now, there was a strange nostalgia to it. As Haine breached a large set of gates, like a far too tall fence into a clearing that was much more well kept then what was available outside its perimeter. A few streams of light made white as they pierced that verdant green above, a walk in deeper as she couldn't help but slack jaw. Following the polished boards that shattered the all too perfect blades of lime green grass, to the building a row of reds and yellows to shatter that field in pastels.

The building itself, homely as it was large and almost seemed too large for one person and instantly she eyed Haine with a squint. "Looks like it, jeez look at all this Haine." There was a twist of pride and jealousy. In the distance as Ruri scanned it all, just trying to wrap her head around everything that was here. A pond, an almost mansion style cottage. Everything looked so pristine and so perfect. Until a scattering clacking and pecking on a window causes the bluenette to fixate on the glass. "Could have fooled me, they look like they are trying to break through it and eat us." A bit unconvinced that some strange white ball of fur and an all too ominous and conniving looking penguin.

  5. "Ok, sure." She applied rather rashly piquing a twist of her head to her older sister. "Trying to show off your digs I see." Ruri offers a coy and playful grin as she approached and reached out an outstretched hand. A pass of a crystal into her hand, she eyeballs the small prism of glass, a transport crystal. She at least remembered that much. "What are you laughing about?" and it dawned on her, she was swimming around in this blanket thing. It left a trail of papers behind her like tissue paper. "I need better fitting clothes, I feel like I am being strangled." Was her first snarky comment, lifting the crystal high and providing a repeat of what Haine would say as the destination.

A flash of blue twice in succession removes them both through the ether, leaving the hall all but empty and silent. Left behind was a red robe in a pile upon the floor, a scattering of slips of paper. Just far off a burner that still flickered through an open doorway, with a bubble occasionally escaping from the glass sphere above it. And a boy lost in his own head at the top of a long staircase.

  6. "Right, I forget." Ruri exclaims as she taps a balled up fist to her forehead, trying to set things straight. A slight lean forward as she tries to sort the sorrow from how she was feeling, pretending to be ok. "That's good, at least Miaki is alright." She focuses on that with almost a sarcastic tone, choosing to ignore the obvious deflection from Haine in regards to both of theirs brother. As it sits Ruri makes a choice, she could choose to take the glass half full and just try and fill it the rest of the way up.

She slides off the stool like platform and wobbles a bit, legs still a bit weak but managing. The huge cloth flopping to the floor in a way she almost trips on it, bulbing around her feet as it was far too big for her. Ruri ushers closer to Haine "I guess if you wanna butter me up first, we can do that. I haven't ate in like a million years and could def go for some noodles." Slinking her way out of the alchemy lab and bringing with her a single slip of paper that slid under the robe, she wasn't paying any of this too much attention. Her head was still muggy and she could hardly concentrate on anything, even more she was now painfully aware of a long empty stomach that growled in agreement to the offer. The whole place was almost alien to her and she was convinced it was either new or she had simply forgotten about it.

  7. As Haine would glance her hair, shuffling a small moving tuft of it behind her ear, she raised an eyebrow at what her big sister would tell her next. "You don't really expect me to buy that, do you?" Ruri was no fool and she may have been a bed ridden potato but that hardly made her a vegetable. "I bet you half the people I knew are gone, or just hibernating somewhere out there. Miaki, Seld, Shanok. Hell the entire Azure Brigade. How many are left?" The question was spoken rhetorically, and it was angry, but clearly not at her bluenette sibling. "How far have we gotten, are we even close?"

The questions started to pick up pace as her mind to actually begin to settle and want more answers. A slap on her shoulder breaks her from the routine "I guess that could be cool, never thought you would want a house." Ruri puts rather bluntly, they were both the wanderlust kind. At least they were. "Oh right, please tell me Kiluia got lost somewhere." and there it was. She never did like that dude, not that there was really anything wrong with him other than fancying her older sister. As she recited the names and memories and then got stuck on the last in the sequence. "Keith...where is big bro?" Notably, it dawned on her that he was not in the room, and almost frightened by the revelation she looked to the door frame as if she hoped to see him standing there with his cocky grin.

    But he wasn't

  8. Eventually that taste begins to fade from her lips, and with each passing second she could feel her arms and legs beginning to respond to her commands. That near permanent stun was finally wearing off, and as she searched Haine's face and listened to what she had to say she started to feel her touch clearer than just through the warmth that was bleeding through. "Shoot. I ain't going to go all Regan and start punching holes through walls." Big sis then recalled some worm thing, and the bluenette's eyes dart up to the right. "A little? I don't remember a whole lot, just like a blurry mess and then darkness." The word stuck on her tongue and made her shutter for a moment, recalling her mental prison she held for quite some time.

What she had was a giant mix of what she could not determine for how long or when, that had long since been burned away. Quickly stopping the opposing blue haired girls thumb with her own like a game and a smile. "That makes sense, probably the reason why it felt like forever." Naturally, as a form of defense, Ruri dismisses it at first trying to ignore how long it could have been. She didn't want to think about it, heck she didn't want to think about any of it just know about it. Whatever this was had forced her sister to tears, and that was enough for her to want to know what to poke.

A smile quickly fades from her face, replaced with honest concern and almost a tinge of fear. Locking eyes with Haine and becoming almost dead serious and broken in that moment, all she can mutter out is "Oh..."

  9. A wiggle of her toes as she struggles to choke down the mixture, it tasted almost chalky and left a weird film in her mouth like eating straight powder. It tasted like one would expect eating shampoo would. Hearing Haine's retort was almost obtuse, it almost seemed slightly different. The Haine she remembered would have gotten angry at her a little, but perhaps it was her grief that was making it impossible. Down to the last drop she pulls away at that final bit, sticks out her tongue and licks Raidou's robe. She then immediately regrets it, it tasted like soot or burnt food. "Bleck." Ruri begins to smack her lips, letting the air hit the bit of pink hanging out of her mouth.

"So I drank the dish soap. Now your turn." She eyed her older sister, calling her on the deal. "What happened to me?" she asked rather quickly, it was a little garbled as she attempted to keep her mouth open. Raidou had all but vanished in her mind for now, totally fixated on her big sis. All she could remember was the sounds and smells, the world being cast in almost perpetual darkness. In a world where she was trapped and unable to move for what felt like forever. Ruri was back, but she was far from actually here. The girl was still 4 years ago, and with that lime green liquid still dirtying the inside of her gums. The numbness from a world that had forgotten her, had begun to fade away.

  10. The youngest of the two siblings has a difficult time containing her tears with Haine not making it any easier, they were becoming a relative source of snot and water. A limp attempt at a hug as she felt as though Haine would snap her in two, she felt like a straw: hollow in the middle. Ruri could feel Haine's teardrops burn a hole through her shirt, the sticky wetness on her skin beneath. "Like you could ever kick my butt." Ruri responds in her signature jokes, albeit still wavering in vocal strength.

There was one thing that just wasn't quite sitting right with her, and in this embrace as emotions were on extreme overload to the extent that the girl couldn't even focus. But it kept popping back into her head on repeat until eventually it bubbles enough out for her to finally ask. "What the hell happened to me?" Ruri asked them both through her own burning face, before Haine sucked her into another vice like hug. "I feel like you're going to squish me, but ok, bring it on." the bluenette comments, knowing full well that her big sis was worried she'd blow away on the wind like a leaf. She'd pretend that it was too much, but it was all she really wanted even if she wouldn't admit being a softie. And then a little pop of a potion into her view makes her grimace with a sour expression through puffy eyes. One of the butthole tasting drinks.

  11. Falling limp after that jab to the side of his head, Ruri was trying to find the strength to stand as she tried to shove herself free. But her flimsy arms just couldn't find the power, and a tap of aggressive keystrokes she focuses on. Her vision growing dim as her eyes began to become heavy. "Stop you, doosh." Ruri manages to mumble out as she's lifted off of her butt, and with it came a feeling of falling. An exhale and a puff of her cheeks, she felt like punching him again. "If you drop me, I will let you have it." she threatens as she flounders a bit from the sudden shift of speed.

She could feel the wind on her face through her blurred and slightly darkening vision before being wrapped in something warm that stunk of who knew what. Having some trouble concentrating as she hears a scattering of paper and the clattering of crap that sounds like stuff breaking. Ruri begins to bob a bit before a warm hand clutches her shoulder and keeps her upright. "The hell are you doing, what's wrong with my eyes?" She asks Raidou, who pays her no response as she hears a fire start.

Ruri hears something start to bubble, right near her and it was followed by the steam like from a kettle. But that hand anchored to her never left. She began to lose track of time, as if slipping into a dream. The blue bolt was struggling to stay awake. But then it came: "Haine, it worked." and that lit a fire in her head, as she started to worm about. A blackness becoming clear as she corrected, honing in on a fuzzy silhouette to a bluenette. She began to squint and then widen her eyes, wiping them with her right wrist. Another glance at the picture began to take focus. "My bad, sorry for making you worry." Ruri exclaims with her resistant aura shattering and being replaced with a sorrow, mirroring her sisters very waterworks with some of her own.

Haine drops her head on her shoulder, and she wiggles a bit unable to support herself, but that hand of Raidou's gives her some semblance of balance. Pushing what little strength she had on tap to the edge, she reaches up and wraps her right hand with outstretched fingers through that blue topped head of her dear older sister.

  12. Stirring as she struggled to move and fighting back like she did every day in her affliction, when her eyelids actually manage to begin to slide open. The first thing she sees is the off white ceiling through blurred vision, and as she slinks up and the white covers on her chest slide down to reveal her torso still in her clothes. Her body felt heavy and sluggish, stiff and almost uncooperative. It tingled on her skin like static. A click of a door in the empty hall echoes off the walls, and with a wobble she gets onto her heels.

Almost capsizing she reaches for the first thing she can, a table and uses both arms to catch and brace herself. Ruri's legs felt like noodles, unable to straighten out completely and shaking from the weight. A slide of her palms across the flat surface she makes it to the left wall and uses it to keep her stable. Her arms jiggle near her elbows as she moves for the door, and through the room she was in she could hear creaking a bit closer than the sounds before. It was that guy, Raidou.

Yeah that was it, it was hard to forget when he said it nearly every damn day. Why the hell was he so dedicated to making her suck down all those strange tasting liquids. A memory plays back in her head, a feeling of darkness and cold. Being alone and unable to move for so long, but that single moment where she heard his voice. His screams. His anger, and then felt his arm carrying her out. The wind on her face, the smells of grass and flowers. As if the world had reawakened around her.

Then came later, Ruri remembered hearing her sister cry. Hearing Raidou tell her to leave him to deal with it, and he had. She had to sit there and listen to her sister cry, without being able to say a word. It hurt her chest, and when mixed with that fatigue it felt like she was dying. A sharp inhale provides air into her lungs, but offers her little strength. The door begins to slide open slowly, and she balls up her right fist as tight as she can. Taking a swing as soon as she saw that mug of his and ends up decking him square in the side of the head. She then immediately collapses forward onto him, her legs couldn't take it. A raspy and almost dry version of her voice pours out in pieces weakly "T-that's f-for the gre... one, you .old me I could-d."

  14. Seeing the fairly large Phoenix suddenly appear for a moment, she gazed in awe the beautiful creature just sitting there... Though knowing it was probably going to attack her, she drew her katana from her stealth, closely examining the phoenix, searching for some sort of weak spot for the firebird. Seeing the wings, she only guessed that was probably it's weak spot. Even if she was wrong, it'd be worth a shot. sprinting towards the beast she had attempted to slash at her foe. Though her katana attempted to hit the phoenix, she'd failed to attack the fiery beast. After failing, she returned to the other players in her group. Hoping next time she'd be more successful.

  15. Hearing the little noises she rocked a little, trying to wake up and finally... she managed it. Rubbing her eyes with the palms of her hands closing into fists as she continues to rub her eyes. Then grabbing her teddy bear as she walked over to the table, seeing that the breakfast of cocoa had already been served by Hikari. As she tipped the cup a little to pour the cocoa into her mouth, she felt the whipped cream move across her lips to form a mustache of whipped cream. putting the half drank cup of cocoa down, there was now a formed whipped cream mustache. Knowing it was there she giggled a bit. "I have a whipped cream Mustache.. Don't I?" She managed to say during the soft giggling.

  16. Unsure of what to say at all, as they parted, she fell back onto the soft bed. Her eyes closing and she'd have enough of the day. Unsure how out of two days they already..did... that... Simply on her back now, she had rested feeling a bit unsure of how to feel or what to think of Hikari currently. Though she felt fuzzy inside, she felt more drowsy. The bluenette dreaming of millions of things... None which you can actually describe, since they seemed so random...

    [sorry for so short >-<]

  17. The bluenette was more speechless then ever, She usually had something to day... But a friend hugging her simply like that made her warm and a bit more fuzzy inside, unsure what to say really, she hugged back. "Hikari--- I like you... But it's more then just 'like' I can't really remember it... I've truly only said it once..... I can't imagine saying it another time..." She spoke softly, Unsure what to say next... So she simply sat there hugging Hikari back, and hoping she felt the same about her. Wanting Hikari to like her as much as she'd liked Hikari.

  18. The bluenette nodded before She sat on the bed across from Hikari, her usual Pajamas on as she smiled. "Wanna talk about Snowflakes then?" She giggled softly before imagining a snowflake, similar to the white dots they found outside which where snowflakes. The white item which had been icy and cold a bit, she was unsure how it was made exactly.. It had been a strange item to her which really was quite unknown. Though it was unknown, she had still liked to play around with them on floor 4. "What do you think of them?" She asked not knowing how Hikari would truly respond to such a strange question.

  19. Seeing the chessboard she nodded, following Hikari closely. The two wolves had sat on both sides of them, Kanya sitting with Ruri with the dark shimmering fur.. And Hikari's majestic wolf sitting near her. As she put it down in the center of the room she smiled and sat on the opponents side from Hikari. "I call white!" She spoke before moving the pawn, many minutes, perhaps even hours passed. And finally, the declared winner had been Hikari. "Aww... Well... Best two out of three?" She asked before setting up the pieces once more, eager to play once more.

  20. Seeing that Hikari was in front of her face, and blushing as much as she had, she rolled over so that they where horizontal to each other, not waving her limbs just as Hikari had attempting to make a bigger snow angel. "Bet I could make a bigger Angel then you!" She giggled before waving her limbs faster and faster attempting to create a bigger snow angel then Hikari would. Finally getting tired enough, she stopped not just laying there hopelessly."Hmmm... What to do next.." She spoke in her head, attempting to find an answer of what to do soon. Unsure how to handle it she wanted to continue to think of at least an simi-original idea of what to do.... Leaf jumping yet making it like 'snow jumping'... Shoveling up large piles of snow and jumping into them.. or something LIKE it. She wouldn't know what to do until she managed to ask Hikari in her own words. "So any idea of what to do next..?" She'd ask before yawning and already being half asleep though it was already pretty early...

  21. She nodded to Hikari before taking the scarf that had been wrapped around her neck and wrapping it around the snowman's head. Then talking out a hot cocoa from her inventory and putting it into the snowman's twig hands. "Hmm... is that correct?" She asked unsure if that's what she meant to be the final touch or not. "Is there anything else?" She asked again wondering what else she missed. Of course! She forgot the carrot nose. Silly her. Taking a carrot out of her inventory she placed it above the mouth, and slightly below the eyes. "Silly me!" She spoke with a bit of giggling to her voice unsure if this was really correct or not.

  22. She nodded before kneeling down next to the placement of heads and slowly rolling the large snowball near to the middle hoping to get it bigger. Then soon adding the medium sized one onto the top of the first. Seeing the smaller one she looked over to Hikari. "Could you help me lift this last snowball?" She asked in a sweet voice before managing to roll it over to Hikari's side hoping that she would lift the item with her soon enough.

[OOC- Sorry for the short post, in a hurry T_T]

  23. One snowball hitting her, she quickly ducked down behind the fort. "..Damnit..." She spoke softly before awaiting her fort to be knocked over. One by one the snow bricks slowly coming apart. Not knowing what to do, She made a small 'white flag' out of the nearby snow and twigs. Raising it and not wanting to fight with the snowballs any longer. "I give!" She spoke before standing up and walking over to the fort. "Cheater!" She spoke with a little giggle to her voice, not wanting to continue playing the snowball game anymore. That's not what she meant by fun.. When she thought of fun, it usually wasn't fights... But she guessed that Hikari really seemed to like PVP if she was that into snowball fights...
