Zerva

Zerva had decided to, against his better judgement, explore the vast reaches of the desert in search for anything of interest. His gaming experience lead him to think there would be hidden ruins or treasure or somesuch just waiting to be discovered and pillaged! So far however, he was having no luck in finding what he wanted, or anything at all. The only thing he could see was endless sand and the occasional mirage, leading him to slowly believe the desert was just a repeating corridor type of map, where he would walk to the end and start from the beginning again. With this in mind he made sure not to get turned around or confused, lord knows finding your way back to town would be important when he grew tired of the ceaseless landscape.

«Make Me Some Armor»

Description: I have had bad luck in the past attempting to get -anything- made, so I hereby leave a request to all crafters who are able. As a leather using dagger fighter, I need some new armor, and I am going to be picky.

Fulfillment requirements: Craft a perfect quality armor with a decent description, or request a description from the client. The armor must appear either ninja-like or assassin-like and contain dark colors. Preferred enhancements are as follows: Accuracy +1, Evasion +2
 

Aid Allowed: Yes

Rewards: 1000col, material compensation not guaranteed but considered.

Repeatable: No

When heard the creature's name he had a visual image immediately, humming in thought a moment before saying "Can't say I have had reptile before. Sounds like it could be a new experience." He shrugs softly while giving his blade a once over to double check it's durability and stats "There is always the other floors. Can't say I can immediately think of anything appetizing up there though." With nothing to really suggest he submitted to the will of the group and said "I wouldn't mind trying Drakon, but I am not married to it."

Zerva smirked and drew his dagger, giving it a toss into the air before catching it and nodding. "You can count me in! Can't turn down a free meal!" He started looking around curiously for some prey. There was nothing he could think of that was too threatening on this floor so he was a fair bit confident.

Zerva smiled and took the hand, shaking it as he says "Maybe, but I don't have any motivation to." He shrugs and decides to introduce himself next to return the favor "I'm Zerva." He finds his eyes wandering to the familiar, curiosity showing in his eyes as he says "And that one's name?" He tilts his head and places his hand on the handle of his dagger when he heard the sound of others approaching, perhaps thinking it a mob. When it turned out to be another player and their familiar he slowly removed his hand from the blade and waved to him, making sure it was known that he had been noticed while the familiars met.

Zerva wandered down to the first floor for the first time in a long while, humming a tune to himself softly as his eyes scan around. After several hours of exploration he chanced upon a person who he noticed was sleeping. He had this sense he had seen him around in the past but they hadn't spoke. He planned to let him sleep but his familiar seemed to notice him. Not wanting to seem awkward he stepped towards the two of them confidently and said "Uh, hello? Have we met before?" He tilted his head, very doubtful but chanced asking to remain on the safe side of things.

Thank you for the welcome back, I appreciate it! And if nothing else, thanks to the site moving, at least I can learn it all from scratch in a small way!

While I do love the idea of gas bombs and throwing weapons, I must ask, why would this not just be another alchemist thing? It's fairly common to find an alchemy system in a game that involves throwing a bottle of deadly/explody fluids at someone's face.

Hi, two or three of you may recognize me, but if not, I was hanging around here a while back before... well... disappearing. For various reasons, which is not to be blamed on any one person, I felt disheartened from my RPing.

With that out of the way, I am back and probably going to try and get back up again! I am sure quite a few things have changed, so I am going to do some reading to try and catch myself up, but if anyone is interested in helping me to start moving forward, I am down with that!

Zerva smiled happily while watching her miss as well, happy that he was not alone, not so much that the goblin still lived! With dagger in hand he steps forward to strike again, this time mindful of where the goblin had its swings going! Zerva gasped, his dagger seeming to have been swung too early, almost certain to miss! When those thoughts hit his mind, it was almost like his dagger had a mind of its own, closing the gap and managing to barely scratch the enemy! "Ooh! I thank you, enhanced dagger!" he praises his weapon while saying "Just one hitpoint left!"

Zerva grinned while readying his dagger, happily announcing "Awesome, let's see if I can get lucky, then!" He holds his dagger tight and focuses his breath, trying to calm his nerves before pouncing towards the wounded goblin, disregarding the failed swings of its partner as he does so! Unfortunately it seemed his prey had better aim, managing to hit Zerva's blade as he swung, deflecting the blow while it flailed around (almost) uselessly! "Awww come on!" He says in disappointment.

Zerva looked up with a smile, saying happily to Ruri "Oh, hello! Welcome back, I'd be happy to make that for you, especially if you are providing materials." With those words he glances upward, trying to decide what he would need based on the design. "Hmm. Some sapphire would work, but you want it to drain life, right?" He smirks evilly and says "How about getting a rarer variant if you feel you are up for it? A Souldrink Sapphire would be great, you can probably get one from any enemy that would enjoy eating their prey... I can make do with a regular one, though!" He smiles to her with his eyes glimmering in the hopes he could make some decent items for her!

Yeah, I was actually going to be a fisherman before I realized that, currently, there is no reason to. No materials that could be used for anything that currently exists, no bonuses to speak of, nothing that I could find. Of course, now that I became something else I am stuck as that, but I do think there should be more info on the unused professions!

Zerva smiled and nodded happily, saying to her "I see, thank you very much. There is no hurry, so take your time!" He offers her a wave and turns to leave for now, no point sticking around and staring over her shoulder while she worked! With that he exits the shop and returns to adventuring, humming to himself happily.

Zerva shrugged weakly, a lot of complications had shown up in the last little while so he turned to his crafting in the hopes it would tear his attention away from sadder thoughts and refocus him on continuing onward and improving himself. He takes his sole ingredient into the back room where he performed his crafting and began to heat the metal. When the silver was properly heated he goes to his anvil and puzzles over what sort of item he wished to create. Soon he decides on a ring, with lots of patterns engraved! When the item is finished, shaped just how he imagined, if not better, he examines the effects closely.

He groaned, it seemed like neither of them were having all that much luck. When he saw her upside down he tried not to stare before shaking his head and refocusing at the wolf which had nipped him. To him it was hardly worth registering the damage but it was still an annoyance. He charges the wolf and stabs the blade into its shoulder, smirking as he suddenly twists the blade, making it yelp and back away, the blade leaving it as he says "It's all yours! Show him who's boss!" He didn't sheathe his blade juuust yet. He wanted to be sure that it was dead meat.

Zerva smiled proudly to her and said "See? It helps!" When his words ended he sprinted forward at the wolf as it rose back up from its prone position! When the wolf saw him coming it moved to the side, Zerva's dagger digging into the dirt and leaving him momentarily vulnerable, the wolf biting at him before backing of as Zerva tries to slash at the beast. "But sometimes the enemy moves out of the way!"

Zerva chuckled softly to Cinika and called "It helps if your eyes are open when you attack!" he rolls his eyes and stares down the wolf again, this time hoping he could prove his point rather than make a total fool of himself! When the wolf leaped at him he ducked, stabbing upward while catching the wolf, impaling its belly on his blade before throwing it off and into the nearby tree. "Now you try!" He smiles to her hopefully.

With the first wolf defeated, all the remained was the lone wolf which he had been keeping aggro on. Now that the wolf was outnumbered he tried for another attack, slashing forward with his dagger towards the wolf! The wolf had been watching him enough during their fight it seemed that its learning AI was able to dodge the strike, it would have bitten him if he hadn't pulled his arm back!

Zerva chuckled softly to her and said "Don't worry, you can get the final hit! I'll get to work on the second one!" He smiles, letting her have the last hit and by result any reward the wolf dropped. She needed it far more than him! He focuses his attention on the unharmed wolf while leaving the nearly dead one in Cinika's care! He and the wolf dodged and tried to strike at each other, keeping the wolf distracted at the very least so it stayed away from her.

Zerva hissed in frustration, finally shaking his arm free of the beast which had bitten it, ignoring the red marking on his arm he prepares to counter attack, not wanting this beast to cause them anymore troubles before dealing with its friend! With a smirk he jabbed forward, hitting the wolf in the forehead and making it yelp as he pulls back again before it could bite him, saying to Cinika "Just one more hit, you can do it!" He roots for her, the first wolf on its last hitpoint!

With her landing another attack, it became his turn! While he doubted he would be able to finish the beast unless he was very luck, he was sure he could give her the chance she needed to land the finishing blow! All it was going to take was one more attack, and so he lunges towards the wolf! It seemed he had let his guard down unfortunately, the wolf instead lunging at him and managing to bite onto his let arm, thankfully not his dagger hand. As usual, trying to play it off, he says "I have it distracted, give him another hit!" Despite this he was trying to shake the beast off as best he could!

Seeing the first blow of the fight be a critical boded well for all involved, and he held his dagger tightly as he charges at the same wolf she had targeted. No point in splitting up when two can kill twice as fast when they focus on one person! With focused eyes he finishes closing the gap between himself and the wolf, jabbing into its shoulder with his dagger before spinning around and slashing across its cheek! With his damage done he steps back and continues the routine of telling the other to switch!

Zerva smiled happily, and with a nod sprints forward at the first wolf, dagger held forward as he ran past the newbie player, leaving a healing potion next to her to take just in case things got more dangerous than she liked! Unfortunately it seemed like he was not going to be the only one fumbling around. His pride as a stronger player washing away as he misses the wolf by a mile while it began to circle him with a predatory look. Trying to save some face he says "Uh, it wouldn't be any fun if I did all the work of course!" He had a bit of blush from his embarrassment happening despite his words. "Switch!" He says in turn to her.

Zerva smiled to Cinika, listening to her words before shaking his head "Oh no, it didn't scare me. It was a surprise though." He takes a moment to think before saying "Well, if you think you are up for it we could try going a bit further out into the fields to fight some wolves! You look a bit too strong for the poor boars I think." He winks to her, smiling to himself as he walks through the fields of the first floor, inhaling the scent of the air. Oh, and don't worry about the bumping into me thing, it was very cute." He drew his dagger from its sheathe and holds it at the ready for when they found something worthy of her.
