  1. Under few circumstances was Mitsuki bold. For the most part, especially in social situations, she found herself struggling to make introductions. That was why when the man who caught her attention didn't even seem to glance her way, she was at a loss. Do I approach him first? I want to know more about him. She bit the bottom of her lip, shook her head, and released as she found herself approaching the inn's bar, taking a seat close to the man, but leaving a gap off a single stool between them. If she was lucky, her sudden movement and her eyes would take the charge for her.

  2. Setsuko moved towards the knight once again, her blade ready to pierce repeatedly pierce through the armored being. As if fate was playing against her, however, as she ran towards it, she lost balance and tumbled to the ground, much like Dylan had earlier in the day. Damn it! She began to push herself up, but was completely and totally vulnerable for the time being.

  3. For the second time during the fight, Setsuko watched as Oske miserably missed her attack. You don't really seem to be cut out for this. That wasn't for Setsuko to decide, however, and she wouldn't base her opinion on the woman based solely on her combat abilities; some were simply better than others at certain tasks, and maybe combat just wasn't Oske's skill. No matter. Five and I are working extremely well together. She glanced to her left for a moment to check the health bars of everyone in the party. Not a single point of damage had been dealt to any of them.

With an almost arrogant smile, Setsuko ran at the Flame Knight once again. Instead of immediately circling towards its back, this time Setusko had a different thought in mind. Time for a bit of pizazz. With both feet, she kicked off the ground and hurled herself over the Flame Knight. Within the air, Setsuko found her target and thrust her rapier towards the skull while rising, and poked it multiple times in the back as she fell, landing on her feet. This Acrobatics skill is insane. She thought with a smirk, having taken another chunk of health from her target.

  4. Upon the girl's screaming at her, Setsuko turned her head just enough to look make eye contact with her. She silently gasped at the sight of two, slightly lavender, but almost white orbs glaring at her. Does the game even have colored lenses? Setsuko had never heard of such an item in Sword Art Online. The NerveGear's replication of real-life appearances was nearly flawless for her. Could her eyes be like that in real life as well?

Throughout her thoughts, Setsuko remained quiet as she listened to the words leaving the other girl's mouth. For whatever reason, this girl felt pity for her attackers. Setsuko shook her head at the girl's ignorance. "Don't be an idiot." Setsuko said, interrupting the girl. "They would have killed you without another thought." With those words, Setsuko turned her entire body towards the crying girl; her composed face grew red as she felt fury growing within her. "I saved you. Had I not finished the job, they would have found another target."

Setsuko noticed that the girl's hands had tightened into fists, before she then claimed Setsuko could have sent them to the prison. A forced chuckle escaped Setsuko's mouth. "Why waste a crystal on scum?"

  5. Mitsuki watched on in desperation as the girl ended the man's life with one, final slash. A look of horror overtook her face. "You monster!" Mitsuki shouted, unable to hold herself back any longer. "He had given up; he was going to run away! How could you just kill him right there without even hesitating!" She stepped closer and closer towards the dark-haired girl, until she was only an arm's length away. Her eyes were beginning to water. "They had given up." Mitsuki's head fell, her hair dropping in front of her face.

She could feel her fists begin to clench. "You could have teleported them to prison. They wouldn't be able to escape. You didn't have to do this."

  6. Setsuko's eyes glanced past the now unarmed man; the girl stood nearby, watching, apparently begging her to stop. What's wrong with you? Don't you understand? She shook her head, her eyes closed for a moment, before reopening them and glaring into the man's eyes. "You can't cower out of everything." She said, her words almost emotionless, before slowly stepping forward towards him.

"Please.. don't." The man said, dropping to his knees. "I beg of you, please, don't." His pitiful, desperate eyes stared the approaching Setsuko down.

Stopping in front of him, Setsuko stopped for a moment. "Begging 'til the end." She muttered before slashing across his chest. Without another cry, the man burst into the pixels following the slash. In reality, his NerveGear would be frying his brain relatively soon. You made me do this. She lowered her eyes to the ground. There was a certain straining on her heart, one she hadn't felt for a long time.

  7. Mitsuki did all she could to keep her moon-like eyes on the girl that had chased after the man, who was no longer within her own sight. What does she intend on doing? There was no doubt in her mind that this woman intended on finishing the job, despite the man's fleeing. "Wait! He's given up, there's no need for this!" She shouted at the woman, still chasing after them. No response was received. Damn it, I need to hurry!

It took about thirty seconds, but eventually, Mitsuki slid to a halt. About twenty meters in front of her was the back of the spear-wielder. Past him, she could see her savior's face; it was cold as ice. Mitsuki saw her mouth move, but she was speaking too quietly for Mitsuki to make out the words. "Stop!' She cried.

  8. As soon as she turned her head, Setsuko caught sight of the spear-wielder beginning to flee. Another coward. She shook her head, and made a mad dash towards him. She ran on an intercept-course towards the front of his path; she wanted to face him before she finished him. Past trees and over logs she ran, eventually sliding to a sideways stop directly in front of the terrified man. "You're.. you're insane!" The man exclaimed as Setsuko stood before him, in utter shock by her gaining on him.

"Funny how when your kind is outmatched, your first instinct is to run." Setsuko coldly replied, her rapier pointed towards the unarmed man.

Not too far behind her, the girl stood, pixels falling around her. Is she.. enjoying this? A chill ran up Mitsuki's spine. "I'm getting the f*** out of here!" The man screamed as he took off, leaving his weapon on the ground.

  10. Before the swordsman could even lift himself from the ground, Setsuko slashed across his chest multiple times with the sharper edge of her blade. "Stop, please! I give up! I give up!" He screamed for his life, beginning to curl into a ball. Red, glowing damage marks covered his body, revealing the location of every one of Setsuko's blows. Had their been blood in the game, he would almost be unrecognizable.

For a moment, Setsuko's attacks paused. Her arm halted in its path towards him. The man began to leave his defensive little ball. Tears of terror stopped flowing for a moment as he looked up at her, as if confused by her sudden mercy. Setsuko shook her head, remaining in her attack stance. "Pathetic coward." She said. With that, she pointed the blade towards the man's skull and thrust it right through him. A final scream left the man's mouth before he exploded into pixels, as everything did upon dying in Sword Art Online.

  11. Mitsuki's focus shifted from the other girl to the spear-wielder, who had returned to his feet. The arrogance that had once occupied his face was now replaced with a panic. "You're not going to kill me!" He screamed at the rapier-wielder. While she was distracted by his friend, the spear-wielder ran towards her. Mitsuki ran between the two. "Idiot girl, get the hell out of my way!" He drew his spear back and thrust it at her, still running.

With relative ease, Mitsuki side-stepped the pointed tip and shoved her right-palm towards his chest. Her strike connected, and the man was knocked back, his balance shaken by the move. From that point, Mitsuki withdrew her extended arm and returned to her prior position, prepared to for his next attack.

  12. From her peripheral vision, Setsuko could see the girl jump to her feet, something that she had trouble doing herself. Yet, despite displaying such an acrobatic feat, the girl she had saved simply stood there. What the hell are you doing? Her thought was immediately followed by the girl asking for who she should attack. "The one on the ground." Setsuko coldly replied, her eyes still watching the two-handed swordsman, who had also not taken her eyes off of her.

"I'm gonna slice you up, bi-!" The man remaining on the ground had begun to curse at her, but found himself cut off. While he spoke, Setsuko had taken advantage of his arrogance and blitzed him like she had her first target. Her rapier met his chest with a powerful thrust. He screamed in pain as she withdrew her blade from his body, and sent him falling to the ground.

  13. Mitsuki had rolled onto her back shortly after being wounded to find that the two attackers both stood over her. In fear, she closed her eyes, accepting her fate. That was when she heard a crash upon the ground. Opening her eyes, she sat up to find that another player was among them; more importantly, that another player had just saved her life. Why.. did you help me? She couldn't help but watch as her savior pulled her blade out from the spear-wielder and raised her guard to the second; her movements were so graceful, so fluid. Who is she?

Commands from the other girl brought Mitsuki back to the situation at hand, in which she lowered her back to the ground once again before leaping to her feet. She raised her palms at the enemies as her feet found themselves pointed forward towards her enemies. Despite the game not requiring such a stance for martial arts, Mitsuki found that it aided quite a bit. Regardless, she simply stood at the ready, unsure of what to do.

"Um.. who should I go for?" Mitsuki asked, not wanting to distract her hero's focus from the enemy.

  14. Doing a bit of late night hunting, Setsuko found herself traveling through the woodland on the second floor. For the most part, her hunt hand been relatively unsuccessful; there was no shortage of creatures, but none of them had dropped any of the materials she had been searching for. Well, at this rate I'm going to be out of smithing materials in a day or two. She shook her head at the thought; she had two orders left and a single ingot. It was pathetic.

The teenager was just about to leave the forest when she heard what sounded like a cry. Her head immediately turned towards the source of the noise; it had to have been nearby. She drew her rapier before entering a dash towards the sound. How could a player be having trouble on such a low-level floor?

As she had initially thought, the noise was relatively close. She was met by the sight of three players, one of which had driven his spear through a girl who had tripped over while fleeing. How cliche. Setsuko thought as she drew her blade before approaching the group of people. In a burst of speed, Setsuko found herself running towards the spear-wielder. Using the momentum her dash had built up, she leapt into the air and kicked the player, the tip of her rapier stabbing through his neck as he hit the ground.

"It's so cold!" The man screamed, apparently reacting to her blade's passive.

Setsuko smoothly ripped the blade back out from his neck and raised her guard towards the second player. "Get up." Setsuko said to the ambushed girl, while her focus remained on her two attackers. "Now."

  15. Heavy breathing and the sound of leaves crumpling beneath feet brought life to the dense woodland of Aincrad's second floor. "Just give up, girl!" A voice shouted, a mix of anger and desperation filling his words with passion. "We just want to have a nice little chat!" Laughter followed those words, but the crushing of greenery continued.

Dashing through the forest, Mitsuki did her best to maneuver her way through the trees and other growth. Two other players chased swiftly after her. She glanced over her shoulder; they were catching up relatively quickly. Their weapons were already drawn, with one of them wielding a two-handed sword and the other wielding a spear, as they sprinted towards her at an alarming rate. "He's lying, ya know! We're going to kill ya, ya moon-eyed freak!" Those were the words of the second player.

    I'm not dying today.

While she glanced over once more to judge their positioning, Mitsuki looked back once more. During this brief period of time, her foot was caught on a log, and she tripped over. Tumbling forward, she eventually managed to stop herself, but before she could return to her feet, she felt a sharp pain pierce through her back, and then pull out in a swift motion. "Gah!" Mitsuki cried in pain as her face returned to the ground.

"Gotcha now." The first man said, hovering over her, his spear in hand.

    Is this the end?

  16. Setsuko sat there, listening to what Rebekah had to say. She wasn't wrong, but she wasn't exactly sure she would call Rebekah correct. Regardless, Setsuko, for the first time in a long time, whispered: "Thank you," though she wasn't sure if Rebekah heard her or not. Her foot had began anxiously swinging once again, and her breathing, although relatively stable, did seem to be a little more erratic.

"Do you think if I jumped into that water I'd die?" Setsuko asked, referring to the pool the waterfall was pouring into.

  17. Order Form

Description:A blade rumored to be forged from heaven itself, the Archangel is a sharp blade meant to cut down evil. It is unnaturally heavy given it's size. The blade is pure white, while the handle is more of a dark gray. Inscribed in the handle is a small pair of wings with a halo over it.

Setsuko eyed the order form up and down a few times, before looking back up to her customer. "I could. Can you pay me in materials?" She asked, knowing she had but one ingot left in her inventory. "If so, I'll get it done. Currently, I have one customer ahead of you, though." Having just recently created a rare weapon for Rebekah, Setsuko was unsure if she could pull it off two more times.

  18. As Yami said the oh, so predictable guarantee that they'd eventually return the real world some day, Mitsuki's eyes fell, and her head turned slightly away from him. I don't even know if I want to go back.. It was, to her, a sad truth; the virtual world was indefinitely superior to the real, especially for her. "Is that really such a good thing?" She asked Yami, her eyes still drifting away from him.

  19. [OOC ~ I've never actually used it before, but I rolled a 10, so Frostbite should paralyze this kid. c:]

Once again, Five and Oske continued their attacks as Setsuko watched while strafing around the enemy. Compared to her and Five, Oske was slowly chipping away at the Flame Knight's help. Five, on the other hand, was rivaling Setsuko herself in terms of sheer damage output. Not going to have that for very long now, Five. Somehow, with her heart and mind racing, she managed to curve her lips into a smirk as she slid to a stop in the middle of her strafe and immediately took off running towards the enormous warrior; determination in her eyes.

Remaining mostly quiet, she let out a nearly silent grunt as the Flame Knight's blade, which had been slashed diagonally through the air, collided with her's. Setsuko wasn't sure herself how she managed to block such a hit, but using the opportunity, she shifted her positioning and pulled her blade away. The Flame Knight's blade continued its previously stopped attack, striking the ground. Perfect. Setsuko thought as she found herself once again circling to the back of the creature. "Star Splash!" That was the first thing Setsuko had said since the battle had begun.

Just as she had begun her combo, the Flame Knight turned itself around, only to find itself being hit once again by a flurry of blows to the chest. Setsuko, with the aid of Sword Art Online's combat system, was able to move so swiftly that the monstrous creature couldn't even react to her first five strikes. To finish the combo, the system, controlling Setsuko, took the sharper edge of her rapier, slashed it across the Flame Knight's chest twice, and finally thrust the blade into to the center of the two perpendicular lines.

Unlike the first two attacks, this series of attacks had activated Frostbite's passive; upon a critical hit, the enemy would be frozen (paralyzed, but with a different design) for a turn. I hope it works on field bosses. Setsuko thought as she stepped back a few steps.

  20. Mitsuki maintained a kind-hearted smile as she listened to Toshiro's complimenting of her choice of skill. He eventually seemed to notice that she was cautiously watching him, but he said nothing of it. When his eyes were no longer met with hers, she turned her head to the side, pursing her lips, and tilted her head down a little bit. I'm treating you just like people treat me in the real world. I'm sorry, Toshiro. I'll try to ignore it. If she was going to speak aloud, that's what Mitsuki would probably say, but she wouldn't speak up; she didn't need to.

Prompted by Toshiro for her opinion on his choice of profession, Mitsuki nodded. "I'm actually becoming an artisan myself." She replied. "I've got the quest, but I haven't really worked on it as of yet."

  21. [OOC ~ Tell me if you feel like this assumption about Zelrius is wrong. xD]

Curious as Mitsuki was, it came as no surprise that she was one of the few players aware of the town of Maple on the second floor of Aincrad. NPCs within the area were programmed to occasionally speak of the town, but it seemed as if few players had taken to the time to find it, even less so due to the fact that those who knew of the place generally spoke nothing if it; it was a sort of refuge from the majority of the other players, and one that she frequently occupied.

As such, Mitsuki used it to get away from the more annoying players of the game. Most of the arrogant players seemed to find themselves spending time in largely populated areas. A little town like this wasn't exactly the best place to gloat of skill. That was why when Mitsuki eyed another player walking into the inn with a bit of a swagger, her pale, lavender eyes found themselves drawn to him. Glancing him up and down, she noticed the yellow cursor above his head. A player killer? He was the first she had ever seen, and was a little offset at the sight of him.

For a bit of time, she found herself watching him, sipping on what appeared to be juice. Few people had entered the inn since that time, and even fewer left. As for herself, she was withdrawn into a little booth in the corner of the room, observing her surroundings. Sight wasn't to be wasted, even if all she felt like doing was people watching. What are you up to?

  22. Though she wasn't the first to make an attempt at attacking the Flame Knight, Setsuko took a moment to observe the powerful creature's movements as Fives and Oske struck at it. Hmph, as formidable as it appears. She noted as Oske's blade barely missed the flame-eyed creatures, though she wasn't sure whether that was more of a failure on the woman's fault, or a well-done for the armored being. My turn.

As her left-foot moved forward, her back lowered, almost parallel to the ground. From that position, her right-foot moved forward with incredible speed as she sprinted towards the creature, her arm extended with the tip of her rapier pointed towards the ground. Breath left her lungs as she exhaled, doing her best to keep her cool despite her growing anxiety. Take this! When she came close enough to the creature, she stopped her feet, sliding on her left foot and ending up behind it. From that position, a series of seven swift and precise thrusts from her rapier landed on it. Before it could retaliate while she was behind it, she leapt back as soon as sword skill ended, putting a bit of distance between her and the creature.

I'm off to a good start. She thought, remaining quiet in the midst of battle.

Perhaps it was because she was now in a guild; she didn't know. Regardless, when she found herself stepping down the steps and stepping in front of the counter, she did her best to treat him with all the respect her little heart had. "What can I do for you?" She asked the man, standing directly across from him.

  24. Before Setsuko was the finest weapon she had crafted since her own rapier. It's design even looked a bit terrifying, but it wasn't really her style. Well, Rebekah, you've got yourself a nice rapier. Setsuko thought as she gestured her menu open, sending a PM to her customer.
