  1. A strange sensation formed inside of Zero when he noticed the intense blush on Nonon's face and he could not help but smile. He felt slightly agitated by what she had been called and shook his head slowly. "Don't listen to those people, you're a beauty in my opinion." He chuckled to himself when the trap asked his age and made their nervousness far too obvious. His eyes stayed vigilant on the way ahead, but drifted back over to him. "I'm twenty as well actually." He wanted to ask this charming princess about himself but did not want to seem noisy.

  2. Zero smiled when he began to calm himself down and continued to pat her head. "It's alright darling, don't worry about it..." He noticed the trap's gaze meet his then quickly look away and grinned slightly. He glanced up slightly when he was questioned behind his motive and closed his eyes as they walk. "I'm no hero so I won't say it was out of a sense of justice, but I will admit that as a knight, even a fallen one, I have duty to help people like you. The helpless who don't want to be helpless." His eyes opened and glanced down at Nonon, his smile returning. "Though I won't deny your beauty is quite enchanting and may have influenced my decision." He winked at him as they continued to trek through the snow, the storm beginning to pick up.

  3. He blinked when he heard the person in his arms speak, the voice was sweet like nectar to him, and remained silent when he realized what was said. He barely had time to react to Nonon's crying and next thing he knew the frail boy he believed to be a girl was holding onto him. " I-it's alright, I'm not going to hurt you Nonon. Uh, please don't cr-" He blinked surprised like before as Nonon begged for forgiveness and sighed slightly, patting the trap's head. "Okay, I won't look at you Ms. Nonon. Please don't cry." His eyes averted themselves from meeting him entirely.

  4. He blushed deeply when the frail looking person in his arms managed to make himself look even more frail. He silently scolded himself not to get distracted and pushed on, a storm beginning to speed the wind and lower the temperature. "Don't mention it, I'm glad to be of service to you young madam." He glanced down at him and blushed more intensely at the sight of the deep red cheeks. "M-my name? Uh, it's Zero. May I ask for your name young Miss?" He adjusted his arms and moved Nonon slightly closer to his chest in order to make sure he would stay warm.

  5. Zero moved through the snow quickly as he carried Nonon. He nearly dropped the beauty when the sudden scream erupted, letting out a sigh of relief that he had not. "You scared me there. I asked you not to scream, almost dropped you young Miss." He smiled at him slightly and opened his menu, un-equipping his and making it appear on the traps lap. "Here take my coat, you're freezing. It has a warmth thanks to the small flames on the back." He continued to smile at him in order to keep him from fight him. "I grabbed you as soon as I saw you, this is no place to sleep without a proper coat."

  6. He looked around as he opened his map and began to search for the nearest settlement. His eyes scanned the map as he went on his way, finding the nearest place to be a bit farther away forward. "Alright, I can make that." He nodded to himself as he continued to tread carefully through the snow and set his sights on getting to the settlement. After a few minutes of walking he spotted a small box in the snow and slowly moved passed it, noticing someone was inside. "Who the hell would stay out in this col-" He cut himself short when he spotted the person inside and confused then for a girl, their rosy cheek and frail appearance making Zero blush. He had not hesitated like that in a while and felt like he had to help the damsel in front of him. Damn she's passed out from the looks of it, I guess I can carry her... His hands carefully gripped onto her to pull her into his arms so he could carry her. "Hey, if you can hear me I'm here to help. Don't scream or anything, please."

  7. Zero shivered as he slowly walked through the snow on the fourth floor, he did not particularly enjoy the cold climate it hosted. He carefully stepped through the snow in order to avoid any sudden drops and glanced around, staying aware of his surroundings. “Why players find this floor so great I’ll never get, but I will admit that the scenery is holds can be quite beautifu- Ah damn.” His foot slipped into a small hole and caused him to nearly fall over onto the ground. He pulled his foot out of the hole and adjust his coat, the small flaming wings on the back warming up his body slightly. He opened his menu, equipping his Twinfire Phoenix Blade so the flames would help keep him warm. “I should probably check my map… I’m definitely lost.” He tugged his hood back and let his platinum hair get slightly picked up by the wind. “What a pain this floor is. Winter paradise, as if.”

  8. He laughed slightly when Lazarus mentioned having a little sister and glanced at him. He smiled at the strange player when they mentioned that they had been searching for candy in order to give to kids, unless they were annoying of course “I’m fond of children myself, they don’t irritate me like others seem to constantly do. Although it is true some kids are a bit anno-“ He stopped himself at the mention of his parents and looked at the ground for a few seconds before letting out a sigh, going back to digging. “My parents are… Heh, they’re sick. Have been for a long time, it’s been me my older sister for most of my life.” He dug into the dirt, not finding anything, and laughed when his companion spoke with his mouth full .“No, I don’t have a little sister. All I have is an older sister who’s most likely lost somewhere in this game.”

  9. Zero stretched when approaching Taft, the celebrations inside the town visible from a pretty good distance, and sighed not very willing to enter the now crowded settlement. The idea of going to a festival had managed to make him leave floor 5 and head all the way to Taft since he never went to one in the past, but the idea of going through crowded streets was acting as a repelling force. A slight breeze passed by forcing the platinum haired player to shudder slightly and adjust their coat, its faint burning wings keeping the cool air down. The player walked towards Taft’s entrance, though still away from anyone’s gaze, and gently tapped the necklace around their neck as they did, a faint flash covering their body before banishing and revealing a feminine figure. “At least now no one will figure out it’s me, makes this easier.” The transformed players walked into the town confidently, acting somewhat more social than before and began to go from stand to stand, looking at their wares.

  10. Zero found his companion’s personality a bit humorous and somewhat appreciated their straightforwardness. “Thanks, I do suppose it’s a silly notion for me to worry about something like and to try to change myself just to make someone else feel more comfortable.” He glanced at Lazarus when he mentioned Zero’s liking was towards girls. “I wouldn’t say girls to be honest, just girl appearing. I don’t really mind whether the individual has something between their legs or not.” He admitted somewhat bluntly and went back to searching for materials. The platinum haired young man listened quietly when he was called flirty due to his appearance and let out a slight laugh, finding it amusing to hear someone call him flirty. “Never been called flirty, at least no while I’m sober. After a few drinks, yeah, but never when sober. Thanks though sweet cheeks, appreciate the compliment.”

He dug into the dirt for a while not finding anything and sighed as he turned to the left. He started to dig into the ground and glanced at Lazarus. “You seem like a pretty easy going person by the way, most people are annoyingly loud and pains to be with.”

  11. “I suppose I am a bit of an oddball among the people around here, but I’m being honest with you sweet cheeks.” He genuinely smiled at Lazarus and scratched his head slightly embarrassed. “I’ve never been too good at telling boys and girls apart when I find their faces appealing to the eyes. Sorry.” He admitted a bit embarrassed and went back to searching for more materials. “I don’t mean to be weird, but it’s just how I am is all. If it bothers or annoys you let me know and I’ll correct my behavior.”

He tried to pull out an herb similar to the one he had previously found. “Great two in a row.” He smiled as he tried to pull the herb out only to break it and cause it to disappear. “Ah damn it…”

  12. He scratched his quietly, unsure of what to make of the person before him, and watched them as they began to search for ingredients. His eyes surveyed the nearby area, finding it to be void of anyone else, then snapped back onto the candy crazed individual. “Well, items are of more use to me than simple candy to be honest. Potions, crystals, pretty much anything useful for battle, and while I do like candy my affection towards it is not as potent as yours. He crouched down as he spoke and began to sift through the plants he could find. “There are plenty of herbs here you can use to make candy of different kinds, just need to know where to look. As for my payment, I’m sure we can arrange something. Right sweet cheeks?”

He carefully searched among the flora, finding peculiar pinkish colored herb that smelled similar to cotton candy and holding it out for Lazarus. "See? This is the type of plants I was talking about, here catch.” He tossed the plant at the candy addict and gave them a slight smile. “You better make sure my compensation is good or else luv. Not that I’d want to harm that girlish face.” He joked slightly and chuckled at his own joke.

    +1 Material

  13. Zero blinked surprised at the players completely bizarre attitude and looked them over from bottom to top. “Uh, sorry then? I didn’t mean to misidentify you.” He watched quietly as they pulled out one candy and replaced it with another; he felt unsure on how to deal with the person before him. A hand slipped out of his coat’s pocket and scratched the back of his head. “Uh, yeah I guess I like sweets and I guess I could help you out. If I get something out of it that is…” He was slightly hesitant due to this person’s bizarre personality, but it was a change from the usual idiots he dealt with. “I’m called Zero by the way… What’s your name, uh, sweet cheeks?”

  15. Zero rested on the branch to one to the many trees on the first flood, a bad habit of his being falling asleep outside of safe zones on floors that were not the fifth to avoid most players. He usually ignored anyone who happened by and let them be, only stopping them when he felt like feeding his sword or felt the urge to service someone. Today was going to be just another routine rest then a drink in town followed by heading back to the fifth floor to waste his time like always, but his eyes cracked open when he faintly heard the voice near him. He sat up on the branch and hopped over to the origin of the voice, spotting a player.

“Hey you need any help hun?” He slipped his hands into his coat and smiled slightly, mistaking the player before him for a girl. Zero was never good a telling apart people’s genders sometimes, this being one of those times and Zero still holding onto a shred of his old overly-courteous, chivalrous nature.

  16. Zero felt himself blush when the young girl addressed him so cutesy and called him silly, her pure appearance catching him off guard. He scratched his head as he was completely unsure as to what to say or do at that point, settling on simply indulging the young girl. “Oh is that so?” He raised an eyebrow when she claimed to be the best tank around and smiled at her with a warmness he rarely felt for others anymore. “Well I guess I worry for nothing then, huh?” He gently placed his hand on her head and slowly pet her. “You should still be careful, there are lots of bad people around who would do bad things to a little girl like you. I’m glad I found you before some pervert did.”

  17. The monster’s life bar began to wither away, quickly entering the red zone, and continuing to lower as the player launched their attacks on it. Zero growled at himself for letting the monster slip between his fingers and glanced at Seul, his form was pretty good as expect and his damage was quite good. Least he didn’t look like he was all talk since he keep quite earlier. I on the other hand must have seen like all talk. He tightened his grip on the blade’s hilt and glanced over to Lancelot, who had taken charge of the fight. She had easily taken control of the situation and did not hesitated to act, an exceptional find if he nothing else. The platinum haired boy began to grind his teeth slowly and took a solid step back, glaring intently at the <<Willow>>. “I can’t let myself be the only one to not manage a single hit, damn it.” He pulled his blade back, slightly crouching down, and dashed at the monster, leaping into the air once he was close enough to strike.

He lifted the sword over his head as a shadow like mass swallowed it and took the shape of an axe. His arms immediately swung down at the monster, missing and embedding itself in the ground only to send Zero flying over the monster and onto the ground. He growled loudly in anger when he fell and pulled his sword back like before. “That’s it god damn it, I’m sick of this things crap! Just let me tear it apart!” He raved in evident anger, continuing to growl at the monster beneath his breath.

  18. Zero had followed the group at his own pace, not speeding up just to catch up, and watched the <Reaping Willow> come before them. The party initiated their attacks, as did the monster, and began the battle. He glanced at the first few to attack, watching them put a dent in the monsters HP, and slowly unsheathed the blade on his back, Ziz. His eyes glanced at Lancelot, who was quite visibly irritated by how their plans had all changed suddenly, and then moved back to the <Reaping Willow>. "Sorry for taking my time getting here, Lancy. I tend not to rush into things and make sure my opponent isn't too strong, information isn't always too reliable after all." He took a step back and dashed at the <Reaping Willow>, leaping into the air as what appeared to be black flames consumed his blade.

His body was soon consumed by the flames, the dark mass immediately crashing down towards the monster only to graze it. Damn. The young man popped out from the flames as they fadded and landed on his feet, turning back to the <Reaping Willow>. "I really need to get used to using this thing... Sorry I couldn't do more for you, Lancy. I'll be sure to try and make up for it." He called out the last oart to her, slowly spinning his blade waiting eagerly.

  19. Zero listened quietly to the rest as they spoke, not really paying attention to what they were saying so much as what they were doing while speaking. His eyes moved from the boy named Bell over to Phillia who was followed up by the one called Lancelot, but stopped dead between the two girls when Phillia shot a very bold comment at Lancelot. He felt himself laughing hysterically on the inside, his outward expression remained collected however, and glanced at the pinkette. "Yikes, talk about rude and blunt. Although you seem quite capable, Lancy. I don't think you'll need help from the higher levels much longer." He spoke softly to her before following what was essentially their party leader, it seemed like things were not going to be dull with those two there which was fine with him. "Now let's go and kill this thing so we can have ourselves a well-earned drink." The platinum haired young man opened his menu, quickly scrolling through it, and selected his main weapon Three Great Beasts, a blade appearing on both his sides and one appearing on his back.

  20. “It isn’t all about getting loot every time you know? Sometimes just the fighting experience is more than sufficient reward. Nothing beats hands on experience after all.” Zero pulled his Morningstar’s Coat’s hood back and looked at the players who has been previously discussing the challenge they would be undergoing. His favorite treat, strangers, and most of them seemed pretty inexperienced too. “This sort of situation helps dominate ones fear of combat and develop the basic knowledge of teamwork.” He stated without hesitation and gave the group a slight bow. “Zero of the Crimson Rain, Grand Knight of the Azure Knights at your service.”

He straightened up and licked his lips slightly, following it with a smile. “That monster will only cause problem if our tank is ineffective at attracting aggro. Actually based on its health we can end this in a single rotation, it shouldn’t be much issue.” He laughed almost as if mocking the mob itself and shook his head, glancing at the pink haired woman in the group. “I think we alone could do this thing in, but just in case since we can’t have our defenders dying.” He opened his menu, pulling out the weapon he had won from helping with the Darkened Souls, and placed it in front of Lancelot. “This should help out in case things get too…risky, and it should make up for not being able to get much out of this aside from experience since the mob won’t drop anything worth most of our time.”
