I sighed and let my white cape flow behind me as my stark white boots clashed against the gravel path from under me. Apparently there had been a massive rock block the entrance to something. I wasn't really sure about it but the topic not stuck out to me as I was interested in it. If someone could just plow through it with their sword then there must be some sort of catch, and a reward for any matter. The only reason I doubt out this quest was to become stronger two I could protect not only the people I cherished but the players I haven't met yet that would soon be in need of my assistance.

I balled my hands into fists at my sides and continued to walk in front of Shade. Not my only problem?! Was he meaning to say that.. I thought and glanced behind me to see if he was watching me. The situation just got a little bit more intense.

Where are we going?! I shouted as I stumbled over myself, trying not to fall on my face. Hikari was faster than I thought she would, especially with the armor she had on! My white cloak flailed behind me in the wind. I was honestly trying my best not to make more of a fool of myself in front of my friend.

My name isn't even close to anything related to that, Shade. And in fact I will repeat it becuase obviously you didn't understand me the first time. Don't insult my friends and I, if you so much threaten me of them... I trailed off, not knowing what to say. If I threatened him there would be no clear outcome of me. I pivoted and walked in front of Shade with my hands in my pockets.

My eyes narrowed as I stopped in directly in front of Shade. I said, don't insult my friends. Oh and if that's so then I'll happily be that idiot any day! Besides, what kind of name is Shade anyways?! I placed my hands on my hips and glared at Shade, waiting impatiently for his answer.

.My eyes widened for a minute when he spoke about his trust in me. Don't, he's trying to provoke you into doing something stupid! I thought and gritted my teeth. They do care about me, both Artorias and Rolland, and I care about them! We aren't just pawns to be dissolved at his waste, were friends Shade. I shouted and glanced at the sword in my hand. I walked behind him and put my sword back on my waist without making much of a sound.

I raised my head from my knees and looked through blurry eyes at Hikari, I didn't deserve to worry my friend like this. I stood up slowly from the bench and wiped the tears from my face and sniffled a little bit. I will join your group, as long as it's not a guild though. And your right, I shouldn't be worried about that right now, we haven't started yet...not yet.. I trailed off with a distant look in my eyes.

You won't go anywhere near him! I sneered and ran at the golem again, hoping to get the last hit. I misplaced my step and only graze the flesh near it's neck, not doing any significant harm to the golem at all. Frustrated, I refocused my attention back to Shade. You'll never get close to him, As second in command I am his protector! I screamed. I wouldn't stand for anyone to threaten my guild.

My short hair fluttered behind me as Daisuke twirled me around carelessly. I missed you too Daisuke, now let's get to the skating! I have gotten a lot better since last time so be prepared mister! I said teasingly and broke from his grip. Today I would show him that I was an awesome skater!

I pushed the rock forward, and off of my stomach with the help of the system, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Artorias is not pathetic, you are! I don't care for the others you mentioned but let me make something clear, don't insult me or my guild! I shrieked with anger at Shade and stabbed through the golem, leaving damage on it.

I listened to her speech, it calmed me down a bit but it also made me worry even more. To think that she believed that I could last that long in this game..Right now this would be the last time I would show any weaknesses to my friends. For now, I would just let it out. Hikari the truth is I'm scared to death by all of this..I will make you a promise though, I won't die until we get out together and meet up in the real world, become friends! I don't want to forget the people like you who encouraged me, a child, to do my best even when I knew I was fated to die! I don't w-want to Hikari..I don't to want to forget...ever...I said with tears starting to spill out of my eyes. I buried my head in my knees and wrapped my white cloak around to myself to conceal the tears from her, I didn't want her to worry about me.

Through my muffled sobs I responded the best I could to her. What d-do you mean by a group? Do you mean part time member or s-something?

Why would I waste my time learning how to cook when there's a battler callimg me every ten seconds? I laughed and threw the paper bag full of fish to him.

Your welcome Rolland. I sighed and fell backwards next to him, not even bothering to yell at Artorias this time for being so reckless. I'll become stronger for both of us...I trailed off and closed my eyes. I'll train hard to keep us both safe, no matter if I die trying...I finally found something to fight for...

R-rosey?! I sputtered out with a confused look on my face. I folded my arms acrossed my chest, knowing that Hikari wasn't going to go anywhere unless I told her what was up. My head fell backwards again to the sky as my eyes closed, ready to explain. Well, I'm starting to forget things from the real world..my friends..m-my name..It's starting to scare to know that we might now get out of here...I said, starting to break down. This wasn't something I did often either. The only person I told my problems were to was Artorias, I didn't like to drag my friends into my messes.

Right then I snapped, he was not only insulting me but my guild leader too, not okay. Some serious tension was building up right now between Shade and I. I train myself! And as you have it I'm second in command of my guild along with out strong leader. I'm the youngest in my guild and I like to train alone! What about you, you should have landed a hit by now too! I shouted, losing all filtering with my words. A boulder slammed in my stomach, catching me off gaurd. It landed on top of me, enclosing me under it.

In the corner of my left eye, I could see Hikari running towards me. She seemed to be fast too, nothing I would expext from a blacksmith. Ah, nothing. I don't know just being dumb I guess. I said, trying to just laugh the issue off. It was weird for me to even think about my life back home. I was gradually forgetting things from the real world like my friends and such, not that it mattered anyways. Sorry, I guess I'm just a little gloomy today...

I sat myself down in the bench farthest away from the center of town, almost a deserted one. It was pretty calming when only a few noises were in the atmosphere. The town seemed to be just a little bit noisier than usual in the main part, with a event or something going on. I moved my hand in a swiping motion and opened up my HUD. Once inside I checked for the 'logout' button again, it was there obviously. I let out a sad sigh and typed out a message, I was a little bored right now anyways. Hey Hikari, If you want we could go somewhere today. Maybe hunting, get mats for you? If so; meet me in the town, wherever I am. I sent the message and leaned my head backwards to look at the sky.

Thank you sir! I called as Artorias ran off like a maniac to hunt for more boars. It was a strange thing to see your guild leader to run off yelling "BACON!," a strange sight indeed. My smile faded as I looked at Rolland, who was obviously heavily thinking about something. I knew straight away that something was on his mind when he squeezed my hand. I think you could use a few days of rest Rolland. I don't mean to rain more on your parade but I'm probably going to continue to train alone. I said with a smile and a soft squeeze on his hand. He deserved to have a few days to himself after all this. I would really like that Rolland, just think of having a place to stay! I said, trying to be optimistic about anything he said.

I adjusted my coat one last time before stepping into the portal with a grin on my face. I could barely sleep last night thinking of what I was doing today; I was going to skate again! When I opened my eyes again I saw Daisuke in front of me, waiting. Immediately I ran to him and hugged him, refusing to let go of him.

I understand sir, I will gladly accept this offer. I will continue to tell everyone that I'm just the White Knight until you say otherwise. I'm also surprised that were your most trusted knights..I'm not as old as everyone else even..I trailed off a little but still accepted his request. I looked at Rolland and noticed that he didn't seem very happy with his answer. Grabbing onto his hand, I continued to speak with Artorias. Now, I have heard of this quest. Is there any special name you want us to give the sword once we complete it, if we do?

Nice to meet you Hikari. I said as I shook her hand. What Hikari did really made me feel proud of her in an odd way. She helped out the lower leveled players that didn't feel welcome in many shops! I will tell all of my friends about your shop, it's very good! I smiled and let go of her hand, walking to the door. I will definitely come again. I said before leaving the shop with my two new items.

I said and pulled out my tiny wallet like pouch and handed it to her. The things she bought today would surely help me out a little until the commission was done. I was surprised to see that the shop owner was a young lady, it was a good thing though. Without hesistation the girl welcomed me into her shop, this made me trust her even more. Thank you, yes I'd like that to be made. You can take your time with it though, I don't need it done until I get to harder training. I said, returning a smile of my own to her. I handed her the commission paper and nodded. Indeed, I want to buy another weapon as well maybe a shield or...I trailed off and let my feet carry me to the nearest shelf which contained simple looking swords. My eyes ran over most of the items, even though they were well crafted, until I found a chest plate. I don't wear armor but they said I need some.. I sighed and picked up the armor and kept looking through the other items. I also found a pretty neat looking sword, that had a nice name on it. The sword found it's way into my arm as I walked to the counter and laid the two items on the table. How much for these two oh and don't forget to charge me for my commission.

I walk into the dimly lit shop that looked interesting from the outside. From the back I heard the clanging of metal, the blacksmith. Hello, anyone here? I called out, knowing that someone was here of course.

It looks like a very good item. I will pay you in col Five. I said as I reached out my tiny bag of col to him. Please, if you ever make anymore items that are white just send me a message, maybe next time I'll have materials. I said and took the cloak from the counter.
