Ok, one last time. I kissed her one last time and watched her hair falling on her face. One last time.
That's enough. We are just fooling ourselves, it is just longing for something real in this virtual world. There will be nothing between us, sooner or later we will try to kill each other again. Sinful is on his way to kill me, and he will succeed if I won't act first. We will both gets hurts if we won't stop it now. Her eyes were still close, I lended her to the floor gently, left her and then raised up. After that I took my sword and swiftly put it back in it's hilt. I waited for her to open her eyes, then I gave her that gaze. That cold gaze that explained everything.

There was nothing between us and will never be. We never met, we didn't talk and will will never meet each other ever again. it's will be better for you if you will forget me and go away. 

A party request box-message pop in front of me, I agreed to it and look on the player status. Name Xion, level 15, HP 60. Wow, that's almost double then me. Like any RPG game its looks grind here is profitable too. He presented himself as tank of the knights of the blood oath, I know that tank use to present something on MMO games but I didn't remember what. I also never heart about the knights of the blood oath.
"Hi Xion, my name is Rowan Senki and I'm from...." I lingered a few seconds with my answers "Israel Yes. I'm from Israel". I said it with much more confidence on the second time, "You can just call me Rowan, nice to meet your too". Yea right, lets just get over with it. We both probably don't give a dame about each other. "I must ask, is Xion is your real name?" from some reason it was important to me.

He did not look like a hot-tempered person. Good for me, we will have less problems on the way. I opened the quest log and Quote "It's called 'Secret Medicine of the Forest', we basically need to kill some small monster and mini boss for a quest item, you probably know it", I said. I didn't talk about money, I aimed that he will help me from his free will. "I don't think that I will be able to do it along, so it's will be great if we could do it together". Or in other words, you are not doing anything useful anyway, so don't do anything useful for me. I know that you wouldn't been on floor one if you had something better to do.

The pictures and the voices at my head stopped, the pain goes away. I was right here and right now, without broken memories, without voices I don't from where I can recall them, just her. I kept looking inside her eyes, she stared at me speechless. I couldn't blame her, I bet she still want to kill me. That's what will happen if we will keep playing with fire. I throw that thought aside, that will be plenty of time for them later.  
I kissed her again and I held her closer to me. I felt her body with my hands, then ran my hand across her hair. I felt a rubber band holding her hair pulled. I took it off, It interrupted me.

She walked toward me while her eyes raged like fire .While pushed me against the tree she didn't notice that my sword was already pointed toward her back. Now she was myn.

I'm going to stab her in her heart before she would realize what happened. She pull out her sword and And held it to my neck, while I charge the skill that made my sword glowing on a soft purple color. She lean so closely that I could feel her breath. Her eyes was full of rage but also full of sadness, like she knew that something terrible was going to happen. They were also so beautiful, like the subtle combination of fire and blood. I remember that the only thing I wanted to do was to comfort her, tell her that in the end one of us will kill the other eventually. 
I should put an end to this game. I raised up my sword and drop it on the floor, then I grabbed Yuki and held her to me. That's all I needed to do to make our lips meets.

"Ho I'm sure you are a mighty serial killer outside", I grabbed my sword and raised myself up. My head started to echo in pain again,different pictures and voices passed before my eyes without anyway to connect them to each other. Here it start again. I hold the tree next to me to balance myself and watch my sight getting darker and darker, I should end it quick. This kind of encounter made me feel so real, but also messed up my head. 

But I didn't want to stop. I want to see her losing herself to me, I want to see her attacking me with all her might and then beg for mercy in the end. Why am I doing it? I used to be different... it doesn't suit me at all. It just a game, you should have fun. Don't stop now, you are so close. 

"You lost." I said, stabilized my body against the tree. "But don't worry, I already decided that I'm not going to kill you". I twisted my face with an evil laugh "instead, I'm going to kill someone else that's close to you", I lower my voice and whispered "Sin-ful.." 

Did a high level player just past behind me? it must be my lucky day. He is basically doing nothing, so he would mind to do nothing with me. I turned toward him and said "Hey you! come over..." maybe I shouldn't address him like that. Players tread their level as a status,I should fake it too. "I mean..Hey, whats up? would you mind to help me with a quest here?" That should be enough, I hope he don't want to much cols in return. I sighed to myself, I think I will stay poor forever.

Her eyes turned again, Is she going to kill me? Her eyes were so beautiful, they fit her hair color perfectly. Their color wasn't dark red as the first time, but the feeling stayed the same: excitement mixed with fear, and it was so addicted.  She move toward me, I could not look away from her eyes, she grabbed my hand and kicked me on the ground. How silly of me, I forgot to take my sword. I fell on the other hand smiling, somehow been close to her felt so good. 

"It's not fair you know. you are cheating" I said, "The system didn't detect an attack, so it didn't help me to prevent it. You are in a game, and you should act accordingly. You little trick doesn't hurt me and won't affect my chance to block you attack. If the system will detect your attack it will compare our status and guide me on how to prevent it. You see, your real abilities means nothing here, I can release myself and throw you on the tree just because my character is stronger!"  

Just remember to make them the primary subject on your story and not to fade away. They will take care for themselves :-)

If you will enjoy it, we will find a ways to push our back stories everywhere. Its will be nice to see how our stories will affect your character.

I even didn't bother to open my eyes. "You are a waste of time, I can earn more items from killing boars". It wasn't true, honestly I want her to rage. I want to see her eyes filled with red again while she will jump at me with uncontrollable rage.
"You think you are so good and I am some kind of a monster, but I bet you can barely hold yourself from charge at me with all your might." I raised myself up and let my sword to slip on the ground. I opened my eyes and stare at her, "Let's make it interesting. If you will manage to kill me before I will take my sword you will win. If not, you will lose". 

So, what will you do? you want me to attack you so badly so you will be able to fight without feeling regret. To bad I'm not gonna give it you. You will attack first, and then no one could claim something against my self-defense excuse. 

As I walked on floor one I encountered A weird looking Player. She looked really old and wore some huge strange brown dress. She coughed from time to time while saying "Please travelers, help me get my medicine". When I walked toward her a quest icon appeared above her head. Ho, she is a NPC. how silly of me.
I clicked to accept the quest, she explained me that she need a special medicine that can can be found only by Bla Bla Bla and she get it and Bla Bla Bla. I scrolled down through the instructions and read the shorten version of the quest. I need to go to something that called a "field boss" and kill some mobs, then I will be able to kill another mob. 

What a pain, it going to take so long with my basic weapon, I wonder if I will be able to convince someone else to do it instead. Probably not, all the peoples I know are low levels anyway. I guess that what happen when I mess at floor one all day. To think about that, she isn't really strong. She is just lucky to have a fully equipped level seven player to protect her.

Amm that's a good plane. Maybe I will just have to find a high level player that will agree to...help me with my quests. But where can I find a high level player at floor one?

I leaned against the tree when my sword was on my knees, I wore a black pants and an open white shirt. I didn't found my shop yet so I didn't had any armor or special items on me. besides, I was poor.  My eyes was closed, but I opened them when I heard Yuki finally arrived. She came to kill me or show off. Either way she is nothing, and I'm going to show it to her.

I examined her with my eyes, smiled I twisted smile and closed them back. She had a good figure, but it's not going to help her in this game. "Ho looks who is here, the fancy pink haired girl with the mighty eyes. Does Sinful know you are wondering alone? Or did you sneaked out without his permission?"

I stared wide-eyed at Allania. She swiped her hand down in a strange motion, and something that reminded a a software UI as appeared. I couldn't stress the amount of thoughts and confusion that passed inside my brain. I placed my hand in front of me. Looked at her and then back on my hand, then swiped it down like she did. A weird white UI menu was popped out of no where, showing a different buttons like items, skills, equipment  and stats. It looks like I have some skills, I am level 5. but when did I leveled up?

"I was in a guild, The Cerulean Silence. She got a pink hair. That scary girl.". I see her face, along with some other faces. " AIso Kiro...I have a shop. Its called the Trader's Bridge". I opened the equipment tab and realized what I was looking for all the time. I equip my two hand long sword and pulled it out slowly, looked at myself through its reflection and flip it in hand. Yes, I was definitely here. not sure where yet, but it is definitely a game and I was part of it. my head started to echo in pains again. I should stop, I will figure this out later. But for now, There is one more thing that I need to do.

"Allania, Nixon. Thank you for the help, I start to remember who I am. that was a lie of course, I'm still don't remember anything useful. But I have to think a bit with myself and looked at everything again. I also was needed to figure out some stuff: like how to fight, how the system work, where am I and who I was.  And what is this strange feeling that I am missing something important, the reason why I didn't trust everyone at the first place. I have I feeling that I need to figure some that stuff by my own. "I need to do some thinking with myself, It's a bit much to absorb. I will catch up with you guys later" 

I walk fast to the other direction and tried to avoid eyes contact. If they will see me walking out of the gate they will probably try to stop me, but I am sure there is another gate on the other side. My head hurt so much and every voice echoed twice. I just wanted to be left alone. Please leave me alone, please don't follow me. please.

I ran straight toward the gate, hope to reach it before they will catch me. Then Nixon came from no where and bump himself right into me. Dazed on the ground I saw him gets up and offer me his hand. Weird, If he wanted he could disable me at this moment. Does he fake it? probably not, so why this boy shout me to save myself from them?

Allania came to us as well, I got up without grabbing his hand and took a step back. "On what exactly do you want to talk? I  magically transformed here without any idea how, none of you are speaking my native language and now you are clamming that I am trapped in some weird game. " my voice gets louder as I continued "Somehow the only explanation that came to my mind is that I was drugged and kidnapped, but it doesn't fit your actions. So I have no idea whats going on, so just live me alone!" 

In that time I set on one of the house's roof. I tried to figure the missing pieces at in my head: Where is my shop, what to do from now and who was the pink haired girl.  Obviously she wasn't a gamer, and not an original player too. I wonder what she is thinking right now, is she afraid for her character life? 
I shouldn't thinking about her so much, after yesterday she probably ran away to floor one. Or does she? I spot her walking on the village streets, not sure where she is heading.

I actually though to followed her, but in the village it's not going to be fun at all. I opened the massage board and send her:

Lets see if you are what you are claimed to be, or just sound and noises. 

It seems that you will always make more dmg then the enemy (or the same dmg at enemy crit) with thorn + Riposte, and with accuracy the enemy counter himself.
You will also get half damage and its not cost much compare to all these benefits.

it worth to parry+Riposte with thorn all day, more then attacking.
I think changes need to be made. I suggest one or more options:

1. Nerf the thorn by removing the true dmg or sub it a bit (probably wont happen because a lot of players have it and that's what make thorns unique)

2. Give bit more options to deal with thorn. Like the need to pass 9 with accuracy to not get hit by it. or every time the players hit by it there is a higher chance that he wont get hit next time until he avoided it, then this parameter reset again.

3. make the Riposte not be able to return 50% dmg all the time, every turn.  Bit Cooldown or up the SP a bit. 

4. Thorn work different with Riposte (???).

Just want to hear your opinion about it.
Maybe its only my feeling, but a lot of players told me that's the way to go and that they found themselves dealing more and taking less damage with this combo.

I smiled as I walked away from them toward the forest. She added me, good girl.
I had a feeling she would, after I saw her reaction I though she would dare my invitation. Unlucky for me she is not threatenable, and really not worth killing. Back then when her eyes changed I felt a shiver for a moment. It felt like she is really fighting on her life. I liked that.

I saw someone hide on one of the trees. Low level, to close to them, require claiming. Totally not worth it. I sighed, I have no luck today, I should return to the town.

She will understand. Lets see if you are not faking it. If she is it won't be fun, so I'm really hoped that she is brave as I though. I could say the same thing, but it won't be that quick. You will suffer a lot of pain before I will kill your character.
I smiled to myself. I shouldn't probably say it, I wonder if that's how I died last time, by not keeping my mouth shout. "You will gain noting from killing me. I have noting except my beginner weapon and some health potions", maybe if will see that he has noting to gain he will leave me alone. 

I examined Sinful, it's obvious that he doesn't want to attack me. He is basically begging me to leave that he won't have to do it. I couldn't blame him, been orange player is suck and I'm not worth to be killed. He is right in one thing, my items are suck. On items level I'm still behind, so even if he is all bells and whistles if is items are stronger I will be beaten by the system.
Maybe I will be able to kill Yuki before he will do anything? probably not. Even if I will manage to execute it I wont be able to take her staff. He is taking it serious, too serious. He will do it, they will both probably try to kill me if I will attack. Totally not worth it.

I put my sword back in its sheath. "You are not fun" I sighed. "I will be happy to test you, but right now it sound like a wast of my time". I sent a wink to Yuki "It was fun until he interrupted us. Add me to your friend list, I'm sure we will meet again." I sighed again and began to walk away from them.
 

"Of course there isn't" I tried to smile back to her but it didn't came out. Of course, free stuff it's a term that doesn't exist. Why did I wast my time to came here anyway.
I looked around, noting interesting. I will correct myself, noting that I can afford. "Well anyway, have a nice day" I said and start to walk out of the store.
