  1. It wasn't so much that Zelrius was uncomfortable, it was that he could feel that she really didn't like him, despite how hard he tried to get along with her.  As she voiced they should go for more difficulty, He grinned, happy to oblige. "Well, More difficult means it could take longer..." For some reason, He felt like Manta wouldn't want to do something with him if it meant more time. "Did you bring necessary supplies for a Day-long trip, then? If not, We can do something easier or I can contact Dom to send us over some Supplies." He wasn't sure if she would still come along or not, regardless of which, he'd forge onward on his own, albeit a bit sad.

Zelrius went on down into the fields below the Mountain Fortress of Nimbus, equipping only one of his blades, this was used in order to grind a group of monsters quickly. He activated a Bloodrage Crystal, along with Blood of the Champions, before charging forth and crushing them in an instant.

  2. Zelrius grinned as the Doors opened and he followed Tristan in. "Don't need to tell me twice, Invincible Warrior." The Health bar on Avarious seemed to be quite small, and Zelrius was confident that this fight was going to be quick and easy. He ran in, all his agility behind him, throwing his blades in a flurry of swings, using the Sword Art Eclipse. The usual aura that surrounded the Blades of Michael and Lucifer had disappeared as the Golden Haired Commandant appraoched, and when he hit, they seemingly disspersed. While Zelrius had done a good bit of Damage, he backed up, a bit wide eyed that the Boss had survived. As he took a few steps back from the Fallen Angel, The Hero quickly reasoned why the Swords had reacted the way they had, and why the Boss still had HP to spare. "Avarious is immune to Fallen and Holy Damage! All Teams, I repeat; Fallen and Holy damage are useless against this enemy."

  3. Zelrius awoke from another not-so-deep slumber through the day only to remember, much to his delight, that he didn't have a whole lot planned today. That of which he did have to attend was one thing he would rather attend than do much else these days. Standing from his bed in the Azure Guild hall, from his private room, The boy put on all his gear. Starting from switching out of his sleepware to the Tuxedo with the little Z on his lapel that Kiru had gotten him for his birthday. Within moments, He was tightening the gloves of Midas around his hands, adjusting the golden lined, all black cloak, of Blackfyre around his back so that it was more comfortable. He clicked the heels of his Boots of Speed, of which he had not actually activated in quite some time, given one of the Pendants around his neck gave the exact same stats of it, just bigger numbers.

Now fully dressed, the Golden haired Commandant made his way to the Teleportation Plaza in the town closest to the Guild hall (Whichever town that is) and headed on down to the Fourth floor in search of Lessa to have her Grandmaster party. Making his way into the building, Zelrius put on the best smile he could; Sure, Grandmastering a skill was an every day thing for people in Aincrad, but it was still something to celebrate. Especially for and with someone such as Lessa, whom, upon Zelrius entering the building, greeted whole-heartedly. "Well, Good Morning, or Afternoon. Whichever it is. You ready to Grandmaster today, Lady Lessa?"

As Zelrius sheathed both his swords, the sound of Metal against the sheaths on each side and the clicking as they locked into place echoed throughout the Dungeon. That was it, The Field boss of this Dungeon was cleared, with little to no effort. The golden haired boy let out a sigh and turned to Tristan with a small grin. "Good work, Invincible Warrior. That concludes our Exploration of the Lower Floors for the day. I am going to head back to Town and catch a drink, maybe socialize a bit. I am sure Flints is probably waiting for you back at the Guild Hall. If not, I am positive she'd be happy if you were there waiting for her." He gave a small laugh and waved his Long-time friend farewell for now. and began to slowly meander out of the Dungeon and back into the Sunlight and Grass of the First Floor. That Dungeon had proved relatively easy, just as he had suspected it would. Of course, The Golden haired boy made short work of Floor bosses. Couple that with the fact that Tristan had accompanied him, and it was basically just a nice little stroll through a dark cavern. Except, the area they occupied was always lit up due to their various gear pieces.

Speaking of gear, Zelrius had this habit of running down all his gear whenever he was done using it for the day. Not in fear that it would be gone or damaged or anything (Since Uniques didn't break under Durability) but just as a way of reassuring himself he still had some of the best gear around. He jingled his two Pendants, the one that marked his rank in the Azure Brigade: Commandant. The other, a birthday gift from Kitty. A small, light blue, Rose shaped necklace with the words 'Azure Brigade' etched onto it. He gave a flap of his black cloak with the golden fur lining. The golden symbol of fire on the back of it waving gently as the Cloak lightly swooshed from the force.

With a quick wipe down of his Tuxedo, a tightening of his bowtie and a relacing his shoes, Zelrius began to wander through the endless grass fields toward the giant city that loomed over the First floor. Yes, The town of Beginnings. Ironic the game, given this City outsized all the other Cities found thus far by atleast twice their sizes. It wasn't long while walking that re-entered through their gates. It was strange; Despite his being nearly level 50 now, Zelrius found himself in this city more often that he imagined he would be back when he left it. Of course, being a Vet of RPGs, he knew full well that you often visited areas you had been to before, just this game didn't seem like that was necessary. And to be honest; It wasn't. He didn't have to be back on this floor. It was just this is where he found most of his entertainment in between boss fights.

With that being said, Zelrius found himself in the midsts of a small group of people that seemingly got Larger, with a very Familiar, tall, orange haired man sticking out like a sore thumb from the rest. After listening for a bit Zelrius stepped in with a Smirk. "Hey, Lowe. The other guildies got tired of waiting and went home for the day. Said it wasn't worth the trouble of mugging these kids."

  5. As he heard footsteps approach up the stairs, the Boys face lit up with a slight bit of relief and happiness, only to fade away again before anything was visible. The last thing he wanted to show Manta, of all people, was that he was genuinely happy she came along. It was clear that she didn't enjoy his company in the least, yet somehow found herself alongside of the Commandant for an adventure. Quite honestly, Zelrius didn't know why she kept coming along either. The two rarely spoke when in the same area, and Zelrius avoided her around the Guild Hall and what not. Still here she was, and the golden haired boy lifted the Hydra skull off of his face to seem more friendly. As it came off, his expression was blank, the Arrogant smirk having disappeared since the Christmas party held by Kiru. He no longer wore it, but that didn't stop him from still being unable to reveal his true emotions on a constant basis - a habit to hide them by now.

"Salutations and Good morning, Lady Gaul. I presume you don't want to stay around here for too long and chit-chat with your Commandant, so we should get a move on." As much as he wanted to sit on top of that tower and have a conversation wtih a Brigadier from his Guild, Zelrius felt slightly self-conscious around a handful of people, one of them being Manta. Self-conscious to the point where he made hasty assumptions and spoke in short hand phrases.

He pulled back on his gloves of Midas as he searched through his map data. "To the west here is a semi-difficult dungeon. Either we can head there, or we can search for another one. However, before all that, you and I haven't done a lot of fighting together, I'd like to take to the Fields and warm-up a bit, get used to coordinating with each other. Is that okay with you?"

  6. Zelrius stood in the settlement of Nimbus, early today weird as it may seem. Rarely did the golden haired boy get up so early for anything other than a boss fight. With his arrogant smile no longer present under the skull of the Hydra and his Lord Blackfyre cloak keeping him warm in the midsts of the cold mountain tops, Zelrius had messaged a certain Brigadier, of whom he had ever really gotten the chance to know or talk to/.  The boy stared out over the fortress of a city that lay on top of Floor 7. Nimbus was an exceptionally quiet little location in the lower floors. Most people seemed to simply like the Winter Wonderland of Floor 4 more. To which, The Commandant couldn't blame them, Nimbus was crawling with guards and NPC soldiers at all times, like a Stronghold on the defensive side of some war. Over the Horizon, the sun rose, its orange light brightly piercing through the faint blue light that often loomed in the mornings. With a sigh he stood, his cloak flaring and revealing the two sheaths on either side of his body. Along with them, the pedant's jingling around his neck and his tuxedo becoming slightly ruffled. Now, the Golden haired boy awaited the arrival of the person he had invited.

He didn't really expect her to show up at all. He found that no matter how hard he tried to socialize with the Brigadier, she never said anymore than a few words at a time to him. With a Sigh, he waited a top the Guard tower in the center of the city, Looking down at the lands and mountains that sprawled for several miles throughout the Floor.

With that, he made his way into a Tavern he often visited when on this floor, only to find it as packed as ever. Unsurprised, and with his arrogant smile on, The golden haired boy wandered in and took a seat at a private, Two person booth. A familiar sight came to the boy as someone entered and sat down. He called out to the Fellow Guildmate inviting them over to his booth. "Ay, Lady Gaul. Come, sit with your Commandant for a bit. I promise I won't bite. Might even buy you a drink or two."

  8. (OOC Sing ups are open to anyone who posts, This will be an OP until the Boss fight begins.)

Zelrius nodded to his group of people. Ebony, Manta, Shizuka, Officer Celesmeh and Commandant Ssendom. He looked around, and watched as the other players fought their own battles with the Darkened Souls and that they were the first team done. The Golden haired boy ran a gloved hand through his menu, going over the notes of the planning the Crowned Lion made for the fight and then took another glance at the ongoing war surrounding the team. "Looks like we're ahead of the game," He addressed his small team and smirked. "Of course, I expect no less from Berserker and Lady Officer here. Will say, Good work Ebony and Manta. Shizuka, step up your game." Of course he answered with a snide comment like that toward the pink haired support. He had never truly been kind to her, and wasn't planning on starting anytime soon. "With that, It is up to you guys what you want to do. Either follow me to the Doors of the Cathedral and wait for our assembly, Join the other groups in a Relief process, or Walk on home and take a nap. Most of you earned it. Emphasis on the most." A glance as he said that final part toward Shizuka. "I do hope that atleast you follow me to the doors, Berserker." And that being said, Zelrius stepped off and stood in-front of the doors of the Cathedral, throwing his gaze over the war that was going on throughout most of the Floor Thirteen.

He was intrugied by the glimpse of a familiar figure, one of which he had not seen in quite some time. Unknown? He wondered to himself quietly watching as her and another Male seemingly blitz through the ranks of the Darkened Souls and destroy all enemies they came in contact with. He dismissed the thought, simply thinking that if it was her, he'd know soon enough. Zelrius swung back around and put his hands on the Cathedral door, admiring the markings and architecture. Damn Avarious has a better prison than us players. How Ironic.

  9. Zelrius stood in the settlement of Nimbus, early today weird as it may seem. Rarely did the golden haired boy get up so early for anything other than a boss fight. With his arrogant smile no longer present under the skull of the Hydra and his Lord Blackfyre cloak keeping him warm in the midsts of the cold mountain tops, Zelrius had messaged a certain Commandant, of whom he had not spoken to in a bit of time. Now, the Golden haired boy awaited the Crimson hair, tall man he called friend.

  10. Zelrius was looking down at the ground, lost in though when the door swung open and Shizuka was there dressed in her cloak and usual attire. He lifted an eyebrow, eyeing the uniform. "Going somewhere?" Of course, he had no way of knowing that he had just woken her up other than the fact that it was morning approaching afternoon. He frowned, the way she said 'Coming' and then how her tone shifted when she saw it was him confirmed his suspicions about what she thought of him. Go figure, He whispered to himself quietly, knowing he hadn't been exactly nice to her. "If you wouldn't mind, perhaps I am wasting my time here. If that is indeed the case, than it is what it is I suppose." He spoke, shrugging and yawning a bit himself before eyeing the chair and her. He took a step into the room, and closed the door behind him but didn't sit. Zelrius felt that he simply didn't deserve to be comfortable in the room of someone who clearly didn't want him there.

"I am not going to waste your time, so let's get straight to the point;" The golden haired Commandant began his dark blue eyes being filled with several different emotions at once. "I apologize for myself making your time here in Azure miserable, and hope that you at the very least, look past my actions and see the good this guild tries to achieve on a daily basis." Other than that, The golden haired boy didn't know anything else to say. "That is all, sorry for bothering you." And with that, he turned back around to leave the room/

  11. The heat relaxed the golden haired deeply. As of late, things had been weighing on his mind and taken their toll, to the point he even lashed out at Kiru of all people. The conversation he had with her before moving into to fight the Forsaken Crusader was one he hated himself for having to this day. He sighed, looking up into the gray sky that was the Fourth floor. Zelrius realized that he was lucky there weren't some peasants wandering about looking for these hotsprings, and if there were, Zelrius would simply flash his swords and his rank, commanding them to get the hell away from the place. He decided that he wasted enough time and stood. The golden haired Commandant opened his mouth to yell loud enough for Shizuka to hear, but instead smirked. He thought it'd be more fun to mess with her a bit. He opened up his messaging menu and titled the Message "Help." Following that, the first line of the message was "Just kidding, I am going home to my Lamb girl, The quest was fun." With that, he sent the message, equipped his gear and wandered off to the nearest town to teleport away from this god-forsaken floor and go home to Taft on the Eleventh Floor.

  12. Zelrius looked back, a scowl in his face and his eyebrow twitching in anger. "If you can't go through with things, don't say them. Though, that would also make me a hypocrite for threatening Velvet room; I could never mindlessly murder those people, especially since the lot of them are good-hearted, hard working, players." The boy sheathed his swords and turned back to Lowenthal, giving a sigh and his expression going blank again. "Maybe you're right; Maybe I am just a Kid who's let Fame, Fortune, and Power go to his head. But, that doesn't justify you bashing me for it rather than helping me. However, in your defense, you've helped the most with the situation. All the other Commandants ever did was feed and fuel the flame of my Grandeur more and more. For that, I thank you Lowenthal." It was true: The orange haired Fool of Velvet Room had a bit of wisdom most people seemed to lack. "F*ck my vacation. I'll keep going until the stress kills me. If you really want the Rank, take it. I will see you when we go to fight Averious." The golden haired spoke the name with a bit of spite, Looking out of a window in the meeting room that had a sight of the Fallen Angel float in the air waiting for the Darkened Souls to be eliminated.

  13. "Get this [censored] out of here." Was all Zelrius said, approaching the now crouching enemy, and hitting both sides of the swords with his own, effectively breaking the blade and causing the weapon itself to fizzle out and be destroyed. Uniques had unlimited Durability, and if used right, They could destroy anything non-unique. And that is percisely what Zelrius did. He wanted to make sure no one else dared to challenge him. With that, The boy lifted his blades again for one last attack. He activated Disguise, Turning into himself, and lowering the Stat EVA on the enemy by one. "Was that worth your time?"

He sent the Curved blade of Lucifer along the man's neck while the Blade of Michael stabbed at the Joints throughout his body. Had any more pressure been applied to those stabs, the man would be immobile.

  15. "That'll be your undoing," Zelrius spoke up. If Zelrius wanted to kill the man through the over-health, He easily could with Nebular Empress or even Eclipse. However, that was not the goal for the day. The idea was just humiliate this man so no one dared challenge to Golden haired boy again following this battle. The boy simply backed up a couple of steps, allowing the opponent a chance to strike.

  16. Zelrius sighed as the man made a feeble attempt to attack him. He lifted his swords and kicked the man in the stomach, bringing down the blades' hilts and smashing into his back, causing his Stunning Sword art to go off.  Zelrius took a step back and didn't have any emotion. "Don't embarrass yourself. Give up now. I can't believe you made me crawl out of my comfortable bed and [censored] this morning to do this. How pathetic." With that he took a step back to allow the man some air to try for another attack.

With a sigh, Zelrius looked at his challenger and drew his swords. The blades of Lucifer and Micheal, Two weapons unparalled in strength since he had gotten them not to long ago. 18. "Oh, Trust me Orange," The Golden haired boy's eye narrowed and his voice was filled with contempt and malice "No thoughts are dampened. However," He stood placing his hands on the table, his dark blue eyes piercing toward Lowenthal. "A Commandant needs a level head. And while you'll say it's hypocritical, I can guarantee you haven't seen me act on emotion previous to this. With that, I decline you're retaking the Rank, Run back home to your Irish man and tell him you failed the Brigade already." The boy began to walk out of the room before Lowenthal, equipping the two swords on each hip and drawing them. "And if you so much as look at Kiru without my permission, I will slaughter you and all of the Velvet Room. Know that she is the only reason I am green, and once you get rid of that, all you have left is a cold-blooded murder. Have a nice night." Zelrius slammed the door behind him leaving and trudging off down the hallway.

  20. "Mari has whatever reasons, but as I said: I refuse to believe any of that, not because of her, but because people are known to spin tales in this world. There's plenty of hard evidence. Ask Lessa, Zero, Shark, Tristan, any of those who were on the Frontlines previous to Nine. Those people that I've lost existed, fought and left all within a blink of the eye. As for Mari? No one but herself can confirm anything she claims, because SHE was the only one there for all of it. I tried so hard to get Mari to like me, and I gave up, after she gave me nothing but hate, so I reciprocate."

As Lowenthal approached, Zelrius nearly narrowed his eyebrows, simply telling himself that if Lowenthal was going to kill him right here, the Golden haired boy would have it no other way. "I didn't know your sister, and will not pretend to mope for her, but I am sorry to hear that you too have lost someone." The golden haired child had regained his compuser and withdrew his emotions once again. "There's no one left you can take from me. They're all gone already, so I doubt it. Everyone has their own struggle, but, the last thing I need is for someone to tell me to grow up. All I am asking, is let me mope and cry about for a little bit. I have always been one to move on once I am done with something." The boy frowned as Lowenthal spat the title back onto him. "I gave you the title to Lead on. You're the only other person I can see taking this from me and using it for good. If you truly don't want it, then I will take it back, and carry it to my grave." He couldn't even finish his sentence before Lowenthal had left him. Zelrius leaned back in his chair, tears running down the boy's face.

  21. "That isn't the story I was given, and I refuse to believe anything you've gone off and said just now until I get actual evidence. Mari is a cold-blooded killer whom refuses to take the Redemption quest until her thirst is satisfied. I have no reason to believe any different. Words don't convince me anymore. Let me talk to this Coward, who did it. My guess is he is dead, That pink haired demon made sure there was no one to argue against her. There's a reason she didn't kill you, and I will look into it myself, Fool." His dark blue eyes welled up with tears as Lowenthal brought up the arrogance point again. "Well forgive ME for not having any flesh and blood in the game. Sorry no one I knew came with me so that they could die and I would experience the same as you. How hypocritical of you to sit here and tell me to get off MY HIGH HORSE, when you continue to go on about your own problems. Have you forgotten that you're the one that asked me why was leaving? To Answer your question: I DID give off my 'power'. You're Commandant now. If you don't want it, Give me it back, and I will fight on if that's what it takes." Even as he said this, Zelrius knew full well the rank and title wasn't was Lowenthal was referring to. But he had a different philosophy on that. It was intriguing to the golden haired boy that neither of the two had stormed out yet, much like normal people would have done once things got this heated.

  22. Zelrius' response to his words were to shout back. "The arrogance was fake! It was all fake. I made it all up, as a way to get people to listen to me. 'Act like you own the world and everyone will say you do.' That's how the saying goes. 'Lead, and the world will follow.' I lead, I lead until it beat me down and nearly killed me. It was Mari's choice to do that, You obviously don't know the full details. I've been in every boss fight Since Floor 3, save one or two because of Azure's decisions. They were all terrible, and I was there the day Alkor and Rue died. I led those people into battle, and it was my fault they are gone. I lost Keith, Miaki, Shanok, Clarence, Garou, Daeron, Cicila, Nikki, more people than you can imagine. You're right, everyone has had their struggle, but I am positive none of them are as bad as mine. I've given up everything for the Players of Aincrad, and then some. Mari took hallucinogenics and slaughtered her Daughter like a dog. I killed people once, but only because they threatened and harmed everyone in this game. She kills people because it is fun. Don't you dare defend that Pink haired menace in my presence." He took a breath, calming down just as Lowenthal had done. "My taking a break isn't even about me. It's for everyone else. All I do is mope and whine all day, and all that results in is hindering everyone else. I've done nothing but cause Tristan and Kiru heartache and pain, and everyone else allows their jealousy and hate to stop them from being productive. By me leaving, They can focus their energy on getting all you poor bastards out of this game and back to the world that matters." He ignored Lowenthal's apology, finding the burst of anger to be unjustified and therefore the apology to be uncalled for.
