  1. Manta frowned taking another turn and glancing around. Hadn't she already been here? She let out a long sigh, sheathing her rapier and trudging along. She had gone left up here the first time, this time she would take a right and see where that went. She began to wonder if the journey was actually the meaningful part instead of the beginning or the end, like that quote said...

  2. She continued to wander around, taking random turns and going through random doors. This was just like the Azure Brigade guild hall. Giant and with so many rooms that it was easy to get lost in. She frowned, wondering if she was going to be imprisoned here, not by a fence, but by the fact that she couldnt actually find an exit to the place.

  3. Manta finally heard yet another set of footsteps heading her way. She unsheathed her rapier and this time started walking in the direction of the footsteps instead of just standing there like a moron. She charged at them and activated the same sword art, slashing through them. Easy peasy. She began to wander around, looking for an exit. This place had a lot more twists and turns than she had expected.

  4. She eventually grew bored enough that she unsheathed her rapier and just inspected the blade and the hilt. It was incredibly craftsmanship, and she was definitely overly impressed by the work that had been put into it. However, she couldnt actually remember where she had gotten it... Was it from Oikawa or Macradon? Her brow furrowed as she thought, now confused.

  5. It appeared that that was the case once more. Manta sheathed her rapier, leaning against the wall this time instead of in the doorway. How boring. She almost wished that Erin were here to make things more interesting. If Erin were here, Manta and her could be kissing and cuddling in between these waves of boring, weak intruders. She sighed again impatiently.

  6. Manta glanced around as she waited, wondering why she didnt just rush out their and leave. Maybe it was just that she was enjoying the peace and quiet brought about by the idiocy of these guards. Once again they seemed to have forgotten where she was, possibly thinking that she had run off and hidden somewhere else, just like that had thought incorrectly before?

  7. She continued to wait for another few minutes until she finally heard footsteps heading in her direction. Finally. She raised her rapier, and as the Bandits rounded the corner she activated Sweep again, her rapier slashing twice through the air and killing them both just as quickly as the last two. She sighed, now bored. She almost wished that they would all attack her at once. So that she could get this over with.

  8. It was tiring business, just standing around like this and waiting for the enemy to show up. She could hear them running around, but for some reason they couldnt seem to figure out that she was still right where she had been imprisoned and where she had killing those two guards. She supposed that they must have assumed that she had already vacated the area.

  9. Erin was probably worried out of her mind for Manta, depending on how long she had been asleep. That was a good question actually. She opened her HUD up and checked the time. It had only been two hours. Erin probably wouldnt even have notice that anything was wrong at this point. Manta continued to lean up against the doorframe, waiting for the next, tiny wave.

  10. Manta sighed, leaning up against the wall. They seemed to be NPCs, so it wasnt like she was actually killing players. She had decided to just stand here, leaning in the doorway to the cells and wait for the rest of the bandits to show up. Depending on how many there were, she would then head off to find the exit. She absentmindedly wondered how Erin was doing.

  11. She glared down the hallway as two guards approached. She was at a loss as to why they would kidnap her in the first place, let alone leave her expensive, high quality gear just sitting their outside of her cell. She raised her rapier and prepared to slice the two of them up. She aimed it at them and activated Sweep, her strongest AOE, killing them almost instantly.

  12. Manta quickly rushed over to the crate that held her gear and equipped her items, her rapier, ring, and kimono, before preparing to face any enemies that came at her. She unsheathed her rapier from it's sheath at her side and waited, hearing footsteps coming from down the hall and plenty of shouting. She growled quietly, annoyed that her breaking down the gate had caused so much noise.

  13. Manta scowled. This thing had some insane health regeneration. One would almost think that this spider boss was actually a cockroach. It just refused to die. Manta wiped at the sticky webs that had gotten on her before unsheathing her rapier and activating  Concentration at the same time that she activated Over Radiation, charging in and dealing some damage to the giant spider. That would teach it to regen health.

  14. I think this makes Merchants overpowered. Plus, Alchemists sell potions like the ones you describe, but for more money. So you take away revenue from other types of professions by selling their items for cheaper. I think that the merchant profession is fine the way it is, as it already has the chance to get unique enhancements on items which is something no other profession can do. I do like the weapon and armor polish idea though. out of everything.

  15. Scarlet looked over at  the other player. "Nice to meet you Mac. I'm Scarlet." She blushed a little bit. "I work as a maid on the fifth floor." She said, embarrassed as to the position that she held. Her blush faded quickly however. "So, what are you doing up here?" She asked with a friendly smile. He wasn't familiar at all, so she doubted that he was anyone that she had known before.

  16. Manta sighed, not really feeling like doing any sort of dungeon grinding anymore. It looked like Zel was all set to go though. She unsheathed her rapier. "Nope, no questions or anything. If your all set to go so am I." She said, ignoring Zelrius' complaint about how she didnt like cuddly romantic moments. He could deal with it though. She stood up next to him, waiting for him to lead the way.

  17. Manta sighed to herself as the doors to the boss room opened. She had never been a part of such a small group for a boss fight, but she was certain that is was going to work out in the end. They had barely been fighting and the boss was already within kill range, well, after Manta attack it would be. She charged in, activating Over Radiation, her sword slashing and jabbing through the air and into the giant spider. The red dots where her rapier had hit started to sizzle, and that was when she knew that the poison she had placed on her sword had activated. Perfect.

  18. Manta watched as Tristan walked into the shop, already pretty sure of what this was about. She hadnt really expected him to show up, especially with how she had holed herself off, but he had. She tapped the accept button, the item appearing in her inventory. She was emotionally distressed by the loss of Zelrius, who she had been dating. She had had feelings for him, strong ones, and the fact that he had had the foresight to leave her something made her certain that he had echoed those feelings back. She did her best to keep a strong act though, just because Tristan was here. "Thank you." She said to him, wondering momentarily if maybe Zel was somehow watching after death.

  19. Scarlet glared at the masked man angrily, prepared to unleash her sword arts and knock the man out of the safe zone. The other player was way ahead of her though, swinging his whip. She made sure to cut off anywhere that the man might try to run if the boy missed. There was absolutely no way that this man wasn't the culprit, with the way that he was dressed. She needed someone to blame for this, and he was the closest thing she had to a suspect. She pointed her rapier, prepared to launch her own attack

  20. Scarlet dropped the brown paper bag of groceries that she had been carrying at the sound of the scream. She rushed to the edge of the town where a small crowd had formed. She could only assume that something terrible had happened. That was the only reason that people gathered around like this. Judging by the fact that this was happening right near the gate out of town, something had obviously happened just outside. She looked over to one of the players, who seemed to be looking for something, before walking over and glancing around. Her eyes alighted on a masked man, standing on the border, just inside the safe one. She hadnt seen him moments before, so he must have been stealthed. And that  was highly suspicious. She was all set to give up her status as a green player in this gamble. She elbowed the other player who was searching in the side. "Looking for him?" She asked, point with one hand as she pulled her rapier out with her other hand.

  21. What a strange day. The loss of her memory, going out to buy new clothes, and meeting up with Crimsa. She glanced around as they approached the teleporter, wondering if at some point her memories would just come flooding back in. She doubted it, but it was always a possibility. "I'm sure it would have been boring. And I dont have anything else to do on this floor." She mentioned in reply to Crimsa. "I already went clothes shopping today... Is there something wrong with my outfit?" She asked, a bit embarrassed and worried.

  22. 23 hours ago, Ratatosk said:

Although this would be a great idea (And bring back a lot of old players who have dead characters), it seems a bit broken. If they start out with the same amount of SP, they are basically making an equally powerful character. Maybe people who die should be able to keep 3/4 of their SP, cause if the current highest leveled player died (Calrex) and he used this system, he'd still be the highest leveled player and that would make the competition seem a bit impossible.

Well, thats pretty much the point isnt it? There are thousands in the world of SAO, and there are bound to be plenty of characters the same level as Calrex that have stuck to the shadows or have been "unheard of" in our canon. The whole point of this is to keep players from quitting after their characters, who they've spent years working on and leveling up, get killed. After all they did work for that SP, its not like their getting it for free. Plus, they already lose all of their gear. Is it really fair to them, who have put so much into this community, to be killed in a single post after getting sneak attacked and lose all of that? Hard work and dedication got Cal to where he is now, and I dont think he, or anyone else, should be able to lose all of that so quickly and easily.

  23. Scarlet smiled at the young woman, gently releasing her from the hug. "I dont mind helping out others with their problems." Just not when you pertain to me. She said, keeping the last part to herself. Things must have been pretty terrible for her to take her own memories away. She didnt want to remember if that was the case. "Oh, no. I'm not going through hard times. I'm happier than i've ever been." She stated, being completely honest. She had never been as happy as she was now, although she didnt actually have much experience. "I work on the fifth floor. I'm the servant to an incredible woman. Shes caring and kind, and everythings going great. Maybe you should try it." She said with a smile before giving the girl her name. "I'm Scarlet, nice to meet you Vyce-chan." She said smirking, hitting on the young woman. Hell, she was a single young woman, she was allowed to hit on people.

  24. "Exploration." She simply stated, finally catching her breath and sitting up to look at the other player. "And hello to you too." She couldnt help but notice that he seemed dissapointed, but she couldnt figure out why. Maybe he had been expecting someone else and when he had heard her footsteps he had gotten excited. "I just decided to take a hike and see what this floor had to offer." She said with a happy smile.

  25. As far back as she could remember, and that was only a day or so back, she had never been this high up in the floors. The seventh floor was a particularly beautiful one as she was finding out however. She had been hiking for quite a while, glancing around at the incredible landscape, her starter rapier at her side in case she came across any enemies. After almost an hour, she finally arrived at the top of the mountain, where she almost stumbled right into another player as her foot caught on a root. She just barely missed him and fell right beside him, face first. She rolled over and looked up at the sky, still out of breath from both the hike and the fall. She lay there, her long scarlet hair spread out beneath her like a halo of sorts.
