  1. Garou was astonished that Beatha had acknowledged herself as his girlfriend, blushing a very deep shade of red. "Um..." he forced out, looking back to her after Clarence left. In the distance past CobaltsDream, he saw the guards harassing his friend. "Gah! Here I come!" Garou raced to join Clarence in his soon to be battle.
  2. Garou patted Clarence on the back with a small smile before returning to CobaltsDream. "It's alright, Clarence. We were going, she's..." Garou glanced at her looked back to Clarence, blushing. "...she's my girlfriend." The boy looked like he just tried to swallow his chains.
  3. Garou looked over to the approaching boy. He smiled politely at Clarence, glad to see him to break the awkwardness between him and Beatha. "Hello, Clarence. This is Lady..." he cut himself off and rested his hand on her shoulder, giving her the opportunity to introduce herself.
  4. The boy roared at the guard that struck her, charging at him. "Die!!!" He slipped into range of the man and raised his weapon. Garou hopped up in mid-air and slammed a fist into the man's jaw, knocking him back into the wooden wall that divided the village from the outside world. He grabbed Beatha by the stomach and ran about 30 feet away. "I told you, be careful, m'lady." He rubbed her wound softly as his eyes softened in concern. Garou's HP: 17 / 17 NPC Guard B's HP: 11 / 13
  5. Garou waited for the enemy guard to reach him and attack. the boy dodged a deft vertical slice but got hit by a following horizontal, rattling his chains. Garou get hit in the chest, but it didn't phase him as his health bar notched slightly less. "Nice try." He got back again, grinning at Beatha's nice strike. Garou's HP: 16 / 17 NPC Guard A's HP: 12 / 13
  6. Garou engaged the battle without a heads up, dashing to meet his enemy first. He raised his sword with gusto and brought it downwards, cutting into the warrior's shoulder. "Stand back, soldier. I have no qualms with you." Instead of retreating as was suggested by the valiant boy, the guard swung back at him. Garou was too quick however, leaping back about ten feet in a single bound. He looked over to CobaltsDream. "Be careful!" The lad definitely did not want his (date?) friend to get injured on their personal event. Garou's HP: 17 / 17 CobaltsDream's HP: 9 / 9 NPC Guard A's HP: 12 /
  7. Garou finally breathed out as he learned how to walk right. "Yeah, I'm fine." They were nearing the gates to the village when suddenly a voice from the entrance called out. "Hey! You! Freeze! You're under arrest for killing another player!" It was an NPC man with leather armor standing outside the village- an NPC guard. The guards were tasked by SAO to subdue any criminals in the game. Another man stood by him, also an NPC guard. Both were Level 5; supposedly one could assume this was due to their job being what the monsters outside safe zones could not accomplish. They both had one-handed,
  8. The surprised boy nodded to Beatha, turning to walk forward again. The snow wasn't too thick, but it took him a while to get used to it. Every clumsy step was almost a slip-and-fall. He growled when he tumbled onto his chest, cursing up a storm as he gathered his bearings. Garou slammed a tree in frustration, knocking it down in one smack. The village was up ahead in clear view, snow-topped roofs visible as well as an iced-over lake.
  9. Garou stood there in shock. Does she think I have my reasons, or does she really not care...? Garou was going to say something further when it became noon. The entire Floor suddenly shifted habitat; all trees but firs died as snow swept into the landscape, coating the level in inches of snow and ice in a matter of seconds. A gasp finally escaped Garou's lips when the Fourth Floor modified itself for the event. "It must be starting now..." A gentle fall of snow came down from the sky, individual flakes visible thanks to the wonders of the hellish Nerve Gear that had trapped them in Aincrad in t
  10. He almost gasped at her steady approach to his revelation. "B-but I'm a murderer now! That doesn't bother you!?" Garou's face fell away from her again as he studied the scenery. Floor 4 was a taiga of pine and oak, a fresh pine scent wafting through the pleasant air. He was trying to keep his mind off of the matter, but his conscience kept dragging him back like a tight leash.
  11. The purple-haired boy stopped when he was out of range of the area they teleported to and turned to look at Beatha. "Not too far off should be the right town, some place called Hugemel," he murmured as he leaned against a tree. Garou began twirling his soft hair until he finally spoke with great pain in his words. "I killed someone."
  12. Garou's face dropped into a pit of sorrow. He looked away before sending a party invite to her. "I'll explain in a minute..." He took out a teleportation crystal and spat out some words. "Teleport. Fourth Floor... Entrance..." His voice almost faded away as he completed the command and the two players shattered into blue pieces before appearing in an oak forest with a a wooden fort to their backs. He started walking off to the side between trees.
  13. He saw her and smiled, taking off his hat to bow to her as he was accustomed to doing. "Good day, my lady." He kept his head down as his intuition felt something wrong. There was something difference about Garou... the gem above his head was now red instead of green.
  14. Garou was waiting in the plaza of the Starting City, checking the time on his in-game digital clock that rested in his HUD. It was almost noon, the time for CobaltsDream to meet him according to a message he sent the day before. The sky on the First Floor was as clear as ever, never threatening rain or even the slightest hint of clouds. He began to pace back in forth with his hands behind his back, Garou's chains rustling excitedly as he grew more nervous. He was practically about to go on a date with a girl for the first time... but they were going as friends. He was confused as he was excite
  15. Garou eyed Zauis' tea with slight envy, then turned his own eyes to his soda. He thought about how he used his anger on the boss to survive and win his desperate struggle. From now on, I will not succumb to relying on my own wrath. I am not an animal, I am a gentlemen. From now on I shall drink tea to instill this aspect of me. Garou smiled down at his fizzy drink and sipped it with a pinkie out, wishing it was tea already. After hearing Zauis' suspicions of other players giving up, he spoke up to the boy who had practically saved him minutes ago. "That saddens me... I thought that these pe
  16. He noticed the waitress after he already blurted out his order, causing his face to practically drop. "Erm, thank you, miss!" he called out after her as she carried their cravings away. Garou looked back to Zauis. "Yes, that is an ecstatic proposition." His excited tone had morphed into a more formal one. He put the pauldron back in his inventory and sighed as he rested his chin on his hand, both propped up by his elbow on the table before him. "I wonder what its like... in the much higher floors..."
  17. A sweatdrop appeared on Garou's head as he watched the two younger players squirm around. "Uhhhhh..." He laughed loudly, breaking his own private awkwardness and waved at them. "I'm going to leave you two alone. Keith, if you need me, you know how to reach me." Garou pulled on his chains as he began walking away. I hope that behavior doesn't end up getting either of them killed, he thought to himself with a small frown.
  18. Garou nodded as he smiled. He brought up his HUD menu and sent Haine a party invite. She's new and impressionable. A perfect candidate. How would you like to join a secretive guild destined to stop murderers and perform for the fine players of Aincrad?" Garou bowed to Haine again, this time taking off his long-brimmed black hat and placing it over his chest.
  19. Garou took a seat on the booth opposite of Zauis and yawned, exhasuted from using his new ability. He looked up to the other boy with a fierce glance. "Cheeseburger with two patties, along with the closest thing to soda pop Aincrad has to offer!" Garou smiled at the other boy as he opened up his inventory on his HUD and took out the Mountain Shell Pauldron. "I wonder how much col this would fetch..."
  20. The concealed, older boy chuckled as Keith freaked out from the girl. They looked silly but happy together. Garou stepped towards them. "Hey, Keith-chan! You found a new friend?" He smiled politely at Haine and bowed to her. "OH! My apologizes, m'lady! I am Garou."
  21. Garou had stopped by the First Floor to visit someone, and with that done he was investigating the Starting City for any happenings. In the distance he saw his friend and "younger brother" Keith and some girl. He smiled to himself. So Keith has a lady, eh? Garou stood there, hidden by the shade of a near tree as he listened in secretly on their meeting. (RP SKILLZ IS GEWD THOOOOOO)
  22. He caught it without trying, replying, "Thanks. That sounds extremely pleasant, but I don't want this armor piece. I'd be happy to give it to you, if not I'll just sell it for col." He smirked at Zauis as he twiddled the healing draught with his fingers. "Armor is for the weak." Garou downed the medicine, almost gagging at the strength of it. He watched his health bar slingshot back to maximum as he pulled out his water flask to wash it down.
  23. Garou smiled and nodded, his aura weakening slightly as a more pleasant emotion rose within him. The boy walked slowly towards the fallen boss as his "Fang" (the purple energy protrusion that flickered) danced in the air around him, whipping and crackling like the sound of ears popping. He raised his sword to the heaven's as his green eyes flashed and a sick grin accompanied them. Garou then drove his longsword right into the beast's face. The boss exploded into blue fragmented shards which slowly disappeared. LOOT: Mountain Shell Pauldron He plucked his weapon out as if it were still
  24. Garou smiled at the other boy, but knew their work was far from over. The Mountain Shell lost the leg that was attack, leaving the gross giant with only four. It had difficulty moving without balancing its front side, and awkwardly stepped closer to the players. Garou, remembering what it felt like earlier when he was glowing in an aura, started working himself up. He thought about how much he hated Kayaba, hated the Laughing Coffin, hated all of Sword Art Online. "PRIMUS SIGILLUM, RUINA! (FIRST SEAL, FALL!) First Fang of Singularity, unleash!!!" The aura formed around Heaven's Beam as a
  25. Garou rushed his attacker without warning, swinging his longsword wildly with both hands. The sporadic movement caused his black hat to fall off his head, allowing his purple air to flow in the turbulence. Garou reached the beast and swung at its face as quickly as he possibly could, leaving a light gash. He backpeddled away before it could spit its acid at him, dissolving the land he was just standing on. "Zauis! Go!" Garou's HP: 10/17 Mountain Shell's HP: 4/10
