  1. Anger started to swell through Garou's body like an infectious disease. He recognized Ryu, the man who had killed the field Red Diamond Hunter boss. He wasn't so happy with how he treated the boy that had healed him during the same fight. Garou saw that he was a higher level, but it was physically hard for him to hold back from swinging his blade. He looked at Shanok, almost shaking with bitter excitement in silence, awaiting the next move.
  2. Garou sped through the forest along with Zelrius and Shanok, his brain almost burning from his confusion. He saw the people ahead, not sure of the intense situation he had put himself in. Well, there's no turning back now, the lad decided. He drew his longsword as his body shuddered, aching for the chance to fight again. He saw Clarence approach and nodded to the probable ally.
  3. Garou nodded to Zelrius, secretly wishing his footprints would match his purple hair. It was his favorite color, after all. He then shook his head, remembering that more important matters were at hand. "Alright, Zelrius. You may be a player killer, but that matter will be questioned later. I'll follow your lead." He drew his two-handed longsword. "Shanok, come with us. Those potions may come in handy pretty soon..."
  4. Garou grabbed Shanok's hand and clapped it, glad he could make it out of the status ailment. He looked to Rage. "Alright, he can make the plan. I'll try to help. If I see her though, I won't let her get away." His light green eyes widened slightly as if he just remembered something. Garou cursed and kicked the grass at his feet, looking back the way he came. "There's still another player paralyzed back there. Amtrum. We can't let him die."
  5. Garou spun as his heel as he heard Rage's warning. "What do you mean? She's only Level 4 like me!" He noticed who was calling out to him. It was the same boy that had healed him during the fight against the Red Diamond Hunter. His vicious glare quickly dissolved into a gentle expression. "Oh, its you. Thanks again for what you did back in the boss battle."
  6. Garou finally snapped out of his paralysis first and broke away from Shanok and Amtrum, dashing in the direction Ruby went. He called back to his allies. "I can't let her get away!" Even though she was hiding, the boy did his best to scope out the area as he raced through the trees.
  7. Garou sighed as he struggled against the paralysis which still had a hold on his frame. The boy started yelling in frustration. "Gee! Thanks for helping us! It's not like, you know, we just saved your life or anything!" The boy with purple hair's face started turning red as he cursed up a storm. He looked over to Shanok and Amtrum. "I say we find her and humiliate her. Teach her a lesson on manners." The lad was fuming.
  8. "Sure. It'd be nice to know another face around this world." Just as Garou was about to lift his finger to accept the friend request, his body trembled and went still. He noticed the icon next to his health bar. Paralysis. Just my luck... He saw Ruby was a player killer and called out to her. "Hey! Don't be afraid, we killed it. We're not here for the reward, we just want to know why you killed another player. You don't exactly look like a villain." Garou tried to force his body to move, but to no avail.
  9. Garou hummed to himself in thought, mentally disagreeing with Shanok but not going as far as agreeing Amtrum. I'll find them, and then I'll find out why they killed. If its not a good enough reason, I'll make them ex-player killers, the boy decided. Garou looked at Shanok. "Amtrum has a point. Before we get you a new sword, we should examine the area for clues."
  10. I agree. I could've swore that boss lost about seven toes, three arms, and a dozen weapons XD
  11. As the player killers dashed away, Garou frowned in disgust. I just helped save your lives! You could have at least explained yourselves to me! But not even a thanks? The boy sighed, but brightened slightly when Shanok approached him. He laughed out loud and smirked in response to the question. "Most definitely. If you want, I can come with you." As he ended his sentence, Garou also spotted Amtrum pointing his sword at the fleeing players. "You think we should find them, bring them to justice?" he asked.
  12. Garou was stunned by what had just occurred. In a mere matter of seconds, Rage, the others, and Ryu had utterly destroyed the boss. He sheathed his weapon in disappointment as he hit Level 4, slightly envying Ryu. "Nice attack," he said to the victor, smiling through his jealousy. "But... whats all this with player killers?"
  13. Garou nodded to Rage as he held up his sword and dashed to join NightShade. "I hope you don't mind company," he growled as he swung out at the boss' shin. The uncharged slash left another satisfying red mark, and at that moment he felt happy to have picked such a strong starting weapon. "I'm not gonna judge your killing status now, the questions will be coming post-battle though. For now we need to survive." Garou looked NightShade in the eyes. HP: 14/14 (5/5)
  14. Garou looked up at Rage as he shoved himself up to his feet. "Thanks. It means a lot to me." Garou walked to the side away from his protector and shudder in anticipation. Although at first it meant nothing to him, he needed that reward badly. It might prove himself in front of the other players. The boy walked around and collected himself as he went back to Rage. "What now?" HP: 14/14 (5/5)
  15. Garou finally made it to the beast's shoulder and yelled in gury as he aimed his purple-charged sword at its neck with both hands. The blade drove deep into the snake's throat and left a nice neon-glowing red virtual wound. Garou yanked his sword out as he scurried to the other shoulder and almost fell off from its swaying head. HP: 9/14 (3/5)
  16. Garou heard Shanok's report but knew he couldn't hold back now. He needed the kill if their was going to be a rare item. The lad bent his knees and launched himself at the hunter's lame, mangled arm. The boy gripped it and clung on, slowly working his way up onto the beast's shoulder. HP: 9/14 (3/5)
  17. Garou leaped up and charged a purple sword skill. He roared with all his might and thrust his sword with both hands down on the monster's hand, tearing it down and pinning the wrist. He twisted his blade, serrating the hand and weapon from the arm. HP: 9/14 (3/5)
  18. Garou nodded in reply to Lightfyr. He leaped just in front of her group and flailed his sword at the boss. "Hey! The killer's right over here, ugly!" The boy tried to dive out of the way, but had his legs sliced as the creature slashed downwards. He grunted, landing in a down position. "NOW!" He yelled. HP: 9/14 (3/5)
  19. Garou quickly accepted the invite and followed Shanok's lead, joining the fray. The boy drew his two-handed sword and swung at the creature's serpentine neck. His heavy weapon did a decent bit of weapon for a simple sword and he smiled, feeling the heat of battle once more. "Any ideas!?" he hollered to the others. HP: 14/14 (5/5)
  20. Leading Shanok, Garou stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the boss fighting other players. This snake... thing definitely wasn't like the boars and wolves he was used to. He hesitated, watching the battle unfold a few seconds as the players struggled until Shanok caught up. He looked at his party member nervously.
  21. Garou's breath finally caught up with him as he released his hand from the other's grip. "Pleased to meet you, Shanok. I'll party with you on one condition: we share the wealth from the event and split it even, or if the reward is a rare item, then you keep it. I'm just interested in the experience." Garou brought up his HUD menu and sent a party request to Shanok. The purple-haired boy gave the other boy a determined smile as he began walking towards the forest, not waiting for the sure acceptance. "We need to strategize; we have no idea what this monster is or how it battles. I use a begi
  22. Garou turns on his heel and almost trips, seeing Shanok. He was only a level higher than the other player, so he figured a duo would be fine. "If that's what that event monster is, then yes. I think it won't be too difficult..." Garou extended a shaky hand. He was sweating and panting from his mad dash from the city. "My name's Garou." The boy managed a smile through his exhaustion.
  23. Listening to the message, Garou gasped in horror. "...it has come to the attention of Aincrad that a player has struck down another player..." This was the first time he had ever heard about such an atrocious act. He was so hung up on the player killing that he had to restart the message after it had already played. A monster... "sent by the gods?" Garou's brain started to work as he pondered the event. Well, he thought, maybe its a fictional backstory to raise the tension of the event. Surely player killing was not possible. Kayaba would want players to be challenged by his world, not o
