Zandra saw when Vaan jumped in for a hit. He bravely charged without a second thought. But the sword missed its targte. Zandra knew she must take this down as fast as possible. Hopefully before they dies.

Zandra layed her hand on the nepent and pushed it up against a tree. Then she stabbed it twice just above the joint between the roots and body. The Nepent tried to fight back but Zandra hold it in a tight grip and didnt let it move anywhere.''Now Vaan! it is immobilised, thou I dont know how long I can hold it!''.

Suddenly it sounded like something huge was coming their way. The sound came from their left. She turned that way and held her dagger prepared to attack what ever gonna get out from the bushes. ''Stay behind me Vaan, this can be ugly.'' the earth was starting to rumble. Branshes breaking. Then, out from the bushes appeared a huge nepent. It was over two meters high, Zandra looked at it with eyes wideopen. ''Oh my god.'' She says and the nepent screamed. A chill went thru her body.

 

Zandra looked over her shoulder. ''Are you ready Vaan? There is our flower.'' She turned back her concentration on the Nepent.''Youre going down little flower. While Zandra sprinted towards the Nepent she channelled her double slice that have never let her down. Two quick slashes and two red stripes appeared on the creatures front. But when she was gonna jump to the side the nepent stretched out one of its leafs, hitted Zandra in the stomach. ''Oh man, this flower is stonger then the others, Vaan! Look out, this one is double as strong as that spider'' she only hoped that Vaan would hear her warning.

As soon as the spider died Vaan started to walk deeper inside the forest. Good that the boy are so exited and driven to get the flower. I guess he gonna be an excellent alchemist. She followed him deeper into the forest. They walked for about twenty minutes without seeing a single Nepent. ''Vaan, this is strange. When I was here I saw nepents every fifth minute or so. Something is wrong, i feel it.'' Just when she had finished her line a big gust blowed thru the forest and shaken every trees so and every leaf was shaking. Soon something gonna apeare in front of them, she drew her dagger and gazed all around her to try to spot something unusual.

Zandra saw Marisa walked away to the rooms to get some sleep. She took another chew of the bun and didnt herd Rinnosuke until he sat in front of her. When she had chewed out she answered his quesstion. ''What I think about your cafe? Well, I like it. Its small and cozy. Having a nice name. Just a little empty. I dont like those cafe's thats full of people so you dont have anywhere to sit. But like half a dozen to a dozen would be nice. Anyway, why are you having your cafe here so far away from the central? It wuldnt be very good for your business to not get any customers. And those that comes gets the food for free.'' Now when she had finished talking she grabbed a cake-slice and started to eat it when listening to Rinnosuke.

Suddenly the spider jumped off from Zandra, it seemed like Vaans strike hitted the target. When she no longer was pressed down in the mud Zandra draws her dagger and was holding it horisonatally infront of her face. ''Come at it little spider! Or are you afraid now that you have to face me face-to-face!'' When the spider herd what Zandra said it made an furious attack forward. Zandra gracefully dodged the spider and following up with first a quick slash over its legs and then a stab in its back. The spider screamed but was still alive.

After just ten meters Zabdra fell forward something hitting her in her back. She tried to stand up but something pressed her down into the dirt. A giant spider had jumped down on her from the trees above. The spider stinged Zandra in the back. ''GAAAAHHHH!!!'' Zandra screamed when the sting pierced in the flesh. ''You little!'' First she tried to take forth her dagger to sting back. When she realized she couldnt reached it. ''Kill it Vaan, I will keep it in place!'' when she couldnt reach the dagger she instead grabbed it with both her arms to allow Vaan to hit it.

''Sure, could be good so you take the right ones Vaan.'' she putted all her tools in the cart and closed the covers on the sides. Then she moved the cart to a corner there it was barely visible. ''Then lets go.'' Zandra headed to the forest with Vaan close behind her. When she arrived to the border she stopped and gazed inside it. ''Last time I was here, some terrible things happened and I dont wanna talk about it. If I lose the control, please forgive me.'' She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, took a few steps and then open her eyes. Since she didnt saw or herd anything she waited for Vaan to follow.

''Well, I meant about your look. Your personality isnt realy what you would call cute. If you wanna hear my opinion youre seems like someone that do what she wants without caring about what other thinks. You have attitued and would fit like a natural leader.'' Zandra said to Marisa, she took another bun. ''Im gonna finish this food first, Then time to sleep for me too. Good night.'' She took a big chew on the bun and looked at her.''Swoot droms.'' she said with her mouth full of bun.

''You never gave me your name?'' She said and then gave him his first task. ''Well then, one of the most important things you need is materials or ingredients. You cant do potion without it, well I guess thats pretty obvious. There is tons of different materials that applies different effects to the potion. At the moment I only brewing health potions. For that you need one red flower per potion. In the forest outside of town there is a mob dropping red flowers. They are called little nepent and looks like 1 and 1/2 meter weird flowers with a big mouth and possibility a flower on the top. As a first task you shall go to the forest and kill two of them to get two flowers. Then come back and I will show you how to brew the potion.'' She waiting for the boy to say somrthing. Would he accept this or go for anyone else. Also, she put on her smile she do to every customer to make them feel comfotable.

Zandra sat on the chair behind her prtable lab and was brewing a health-potion, she hoped. The sun shined bright on the market. It was full of people at this hour. Suddenly she looked up from her potion-brewing when she herd a voice. There was a young boy standing in front of the cart. He asked her if she could teach him to become an alchemist. She had been learned by a grandmaster, but this was her fourth day and she would already got her own pupil. ''I dont have much experience yet. Have only worked as an alchemist for a few days.'' The boy stood there silent looking at her with respect waiting for an asnwer. ''But if you want I can teach you the basics?''

Now that the wolf was almost dead, Zandra saw an opening to finished it off. She stood up and examined the wolf, did it have any special weak spot. Probably the face. She prepeard her double slice that have almost never failed her. She took the last step towars it. First one cut over the nose from left to right. Then another cut on the way back, right to left. ''There you go, DIE doggy!''. Sadly, the wolf didnt die. Its health-bar was blinking on 1 HP. ''Damn it, sorry man, I couldnt finish it of completly.'' She blushed of emberrasment to only deal two tiny points of damage.

Zandra placed all her equipment on her workbench. Today it was raining and she wished she had a shop to stand inside. But, it was too expensive for now. When she have been more experience she gonna get one. But she had a parasol attached to the side of the cart so the ingredients wouldnt get wet. She prepeard all the tools and crushed the flowers into powder. She poured the powder into the boiling water. She remebered tht she yeterday boiled it for 1 and 1/2 hour. To make the effect more powerful she let it boil another ten minutes. The color looked so good that she poured it up in 2 bottles at the same time instead of waiting for another time to cover more posible tries. When she was gonna shake the first bottle she didnt held the thumb to cover the whole hole. All the potion was covered over the workbench. She ignored that for now and shaked the other bottle. This time she was sure the whole hole was covered. And that was good because she got another uncommon. ''YAY!''

''Well, now when we have itroduce each other, lets head out and explore. Maybe killing mobs or find a low to middle lvl dungeon. I would like to add some kills on my list. Have only a few simple enemys at the moment.'' Zandra looke at Hunter when she stood there and tapping her foot on the ground. ''Are you in a hurry Hunter? Or just bored in just stand here and talking? Well, anyway lets go out, start with the fields outside the walls?'' She look at the two players in front of her and waited for them to a agree or disagree.

Zandra stood a few meters away from the wolfs when it bite Rolland in the arm, seemed to not even harm him at all. Thou he had missed her swing with the sword. Zandra saw the opportunity to stab the wolf in the back now when it didnt had the attention on her. She griped the dagger hard in her right hand blade pointing downwards. 

On the way to the wolf Zandra didnt see the rock point up from the ground. She hit it and felling like her toe broke when she fell to the ground face-down.

''Bam! Another one down.'' Zandra says when the fifth boar this morning die for her blade. Now when this field was cleared she headed to another to let the boars respawn. It almost was a little embarrasing to farm boars when she was lvl 7. People would probably at last go for dire wolfs that drops guaranteed loot as well as more xp then the boars closest to the town. But she was still a little scared after the happenings in the forrest yesterday. She was up against an 8 HP nepent, and didnt succeded to kill it before she was reduced to 3 health. She decided to never tell that for anyone. When she was walking towards the other field she passed the tree. It was THE tree. The place wherre many people meets up because its on the way to the nearest village. Today she saw a pretty bug group of players. Four if she wasnt mistaken. Suddenly a shape fell down from the tree. Looked like a small human in black and white clothes. ''Must be Marisa.'' Zandra decided to make a prank on her. None of the peoples in the group had noticed her yet. She was just gonna jump down in a ditch when two of them left the group. They saw her, and she saw that they did. She froze on the spot. But they just smiled and gave her the thumb up. Zandra quietly ran in the ditch out of sight of the group under the tree. She reached a pot just five meters from Marisa. Here she, silent as a snake went up from the ditch crouching. She staarted to crawl in the high grass. Inch by inch she got closer to Marisa. One meter away she bent her legs and jumoed up behind her. ''Raawwrgh!!!''

Zandra took a huge step forward, grab the rabbit in its ears, lifted it up. Then without mercy, even when the rabbit looked at her with cute eyes that only a animal-baby could have, she took her dagger and cut of its head. The body fell to the ground with a small 'domp'. Zandra croched and inspected the rabbit. ''Nope, its body is to small to be of any use to a cook.'' She threw it on the ground for the wolfs to eat it. Then she started to walk home. Beeing on her guard for possible nepents and looking for any muschroom.

 

When she reached the border of the forest she took a few steps out of it and turned around. ''Ha. First day I visited you, I visited you alone with only a basic dagger, but you couldnt defeat me. I've survived my first real solo adventure.'' She said loudly to the forest and laughed. Finaly she was safe. This would be a day to remember. She turned around and walked home to town of beginning.

''Just sit still little rabbit, Im only gonna stab you and sell you to a cook for some Col.'' she shouldt have warned the rabbit. When Zandras dagger fell the little rabbit easily dodged it. The dagger hitted the dirt so half of the blade was under ground. The rabbit sat on its new place and looked at Zandra with curious eyes. ''Dont think Im gona spare your life because your cute, because I wont.'' Zandra said to the rabbit while she stared at it and pulled up the dagger from the earth.

Well, she had two flowers and a crystal. Totaly three materials. The sun was on way down. In just a few hours it would be dark here. If she could just find a mushroom she would call it a day and head on home. She gazed around her to hopefully see a mushroom. It didnt went better because it went darker. Then she saw something behind a rock.

She walk to the rock and looked behind it. It was just a little rabbit. ''Maybe the first time I got disapointed when seeing a rabbit.'' Then she realized cooks could use rabbit-meat as an ingredient.

Now she took the few steps to the other one. This one was a little smaller but she thougth it still would be enough for one crystal. To be sure to get out as big piece she could get she carefully looked at it from every angel. She didnt wanted to destroy this one because of impatience.

Right in her first hit on the node she missed the spot she was aiming for. Instead she hitted a small crack. When the pickaxe hitted the crack it got way bigger. When she inspected the node again she realized this node was now ruined. ''Damn it.''

 

 

She thinks Im cute Zandra thinks. She is into females. Could it be because of that reason any boy on the pubs didnt attracted her. She could never imagine SHE was liked womans. "Marisa" Zandras cheeks blushed even more. Zandras eyes met hers. Her heartbeat rose. She must be homo when she reacting like this when talking to a woman. "I could say the same thing about you." She grabbed Marisas hands while leaning towards her. Never breaking eye contact.

Now Zandra decided to skip fighting any more nepent. This did hurt way to much. Time for some mining. She walked deeper into the forest, caerfully avoiding any nepent she saw. Her body still hurt, but she couldnt leave with only two flowers as a reward after all this effort. When she had walked for ten minutes and avoided half a dozen nepents, she came to the cave. Outside was two big nodes of clear crystal.

She equiped her pickaxe and started to mine the node. This node was very easy to mine, affter just a couple of minutes she had one big clear crystal in her hand.

Zandra look at the keys when Kourin puts them on the table. She was realy surprised about this mans generousity. Not only free food but it seems like they can stay overnight. She looked at Marisa to ask her waht she thougth. But there she sat, It seemed she was in deep consentration. Zandra was gonna ask her what she is thinking, but before she could ask she got the answer.  "I'm kind of curious but. What genders are ya attracted to Zan-chan?". Zandra was taken by surprise. That was one of the later things she thougth would be the answer. It took a few moments to understand what she was actually was asking. ''Ehm. To be honest, I dont know. This sounds strange but Ive never thought about that. Have never had any boy or girlfriend.'' she looked around and even when it was no one there she whispered. ''And I havent stayed with one over night, if you know what I mean''. Her cheeks blushed a little. ''What about you?'' She asked her back without eye-contact.

''Oh right.'' Zandra looked at Marisa when she changed to casual dry clothes. ''Mostly I dont care if food have been on anotherones plate, I can still eat it if it tastes good. It seems we are alike in that manner. If you can eat a slice of cake with my sake all over it I guess yuor not that choosy.'' Zandra smiles at Marisa. She realy enjoys her company. Also, now she feels more relaxed. Like she can be herself without someone laughing at her. The manager seems like a nice guy too. If there is some higher power inside this game that can decide where people are going, she thanks that it made her take another way today. ''Back in the real world, I was a loner. Had very few friends in real life. But during school I found the world of MMO's. Almost all my time I sat in front of the computer and played with people hundreds of miles away. They was my friends back then. But they didnt felt like 'real' friends. Now Im in this game, its also a game but, I walks to a cafe and meets a girl. She seems much more like a friend to me then any of the hundreds Ive met online.'' After her lecture she looks at Marisa and send her a friend request.
