  1. Lindow drank from his cup, the cool refreshing liquid seems to stimulate the older player. His iron cast eyes set and wondered about the player named Tristan of the Azure Brigade. Seemed like an interesting name for a guild or clan, but the knowledge he would possess as being a tank and one of the front liners in the floor raids, surely he'd have a tip or two up his sleeve. Lindow rubbed his chin with his fingers, there was a moment of silence. The two handed swordsman shifted in his seat wondering if there were any other questions he could fire off to the veteran player before their meeting came to an end.

"We've been at it for a little while now. I am not sure what plans you had tonight, but I thank you for spending some time to help me out with getting my thoughts settled. I know, I know, I thanked you at least a half a dozen if not more times now, and I'll continue thanking you even when you are not here. Because you are deserving as such. I'm an old man that likes to go to bed early and wake up early to start fresh. I may have to retire here in a little bit, but these are memories that I can be happy with. The man who helped me from the Mob, to the man who gave me the tour of the city and the most important stop was the Monument of Life. I shall revisit that place with flowers for our fallen heroes as much as I am able to do so. As for the circumstances of your friend's departing, should you need help in the matter feel free to let me know and I'll do what I can within my power. Do you have plans for the rest of the evening, Calrex? I don't wish to keep you any longer if you have other important things to attend to."

  2. Lindow slept like a log, his arms and legs sprawled out over the large bed as he snored to himself. As he roused himself away, the first few cracks of light were starting to show in the morning sky. He did his morning routine of stretches and push ups and equipped his armor and weapon as the new day had begun. The bright Crimson Blades's cloak swung over his tunic and vest as he moved outside of his lodging, Lenneth waiting just outside his door.

"Ahh! Good morning, Lenneth. Why are you up so early?"

"Material hunting! I'm just waiting for my escorts...What are you up to today?"

"Guild business. I must talk with Guild Leader Mack and the rest of the Crimson Council about what happened last night. We can't let these vagabonds run amuck when we are trying to finish this Death Game. An assault on the players will grievously hamper our plans on quickly finishing the floors. We need to come up with a way to snip it in the bud before it fully blossoms."

"Oooh! That mysterious player in the dark cloak and hood. He was kinda scary...If you're not busy later, will you come play with me?"

"I don't know what I have planned today, but if time allows I shall be back and we can have some fun."

Lindow placed a hand on the girl's head and smiled as he went towards the portal. He flashes a wave before he turned and was transported back to Floor One.

  3. Each person around the table was interesting to say in the least with a colorful variety of backgrounds. Mack seemed to know everyone for the most part and their required skills. As Lindow listened to his Guild Leader, he nodded and appreciated the in depth explanation of the assumed roles everyone were given, as well as Lindow taking full swing of the Grand Secretary; his role was to keep assignments and deeds by the books of those who hired out the men for such quests and the completion of the jobs as far as the mercenary sides go. He was also to take charge in keeping tracks with most of the records that goes on in the Guild, in other words he needed to know everyone at this table from the inside out. As they all took their turns in introductions and the final voice going to Mack, the Searg, Lindow looked about the table to see if there was any instance of rebuttal, there was only silence.

The two handed swordsman gave his vote, "I vote yay on these roles as well as the proceeding military structure of the Guild." Lindow didn't stand up this time but stayed in his chair as he looked to the men. So this was really happening, the formation of the guild was coming together nicely. There was some people in the room tavern watching closely and more or less eavesdropping as they talked about their structure, do doubt some of these people were happy to see a force coming to be as the front lines have gone cold for some time. With no other thoughts of his own, Lindow awaited for their next order.

  4. That evening he was accompanied by Lenneth to his lodgings where she showed him the way to it. Inside it was warm and cozy, a roaring fireplace lit anf filled the room with a calming presence. His body fell into a chair after the two of them parted ways. He moved through his menu to see if there was any new messages, only the one from Opal a friend he met a while ago.

"Hey Lin! How are things? Haven't seen you on Floor One in awhile. Are you already hitting the front lines? Hahaha. If you ever get some free time, let me know and I'll buy you a drink. Hope things are well! -heart- Opal.

Lindow sighed and replied to the message courteously and sent it off, if anything she was persistent. What was up with all these girls here being attracted to him? He was married and he said that repeatedly over and over to them, there was no change in that and as far as things would go he would not step over that boundary of 'its just a game, and no one will find out.' That was disrespectful to himself and his wife, as Secretary of the Crimson Blades, he had honor and a duty to keep things moral and he would not be swayed by the voluptuous bodies of the females of this game, they could be lying about their age for all he knew.  He turned over and found a comfortable bed to sleep in, his body fell into the softness and warmth of the covers and his eyes started to close. It had been a long and arduous day.  Tomorrow he would seek out his Guild Mates and tell them of this new PK guild.

  5. Lindow lugged the heavy blade over his shoulder as he stepped in the shadow of the fallen Crystal Fiend, after Hirru had made quick work of it and left nothing but a broken down creature. Lindow looked down at the frightened mass of crystals as its eyes peered at him. Lifting his blade with both hands on the hilt, the cleaving arc came down shattering the creatures to pieces spraying all sorts of shiny materials all over the floor. Lindow rose his hands from the explosive mass of light as it quickly dimmed moments later.

"Ugh...did I destroy a nuclear reactor or something?" He leaned down and examined that there was a material left in its wake and a bag of Col.

Lindow pocketed the treasure and nodded to his friend, "Alright. That clears up that mess. Shall we head further into the cave then?"

  6. I plan on having a DPS set and a Off Tank set at one point or another in my career here. There are not too many skills I am thrilled with just because they dont suit me personally, so I can pick up another weapon skill without hampering my builds. Versatility is key and using the right armor against the right individual in terms of PvP. I do know there are certain skills that are more applicable towards PvP than PvE, it really just depends on the situation. As far as I can see...

    Status Effect Players
    Pure Tanks
    Pure DPS
    Off Tanks
    Hybrid Builds

These are the only builds I have seen so far or thought as far as I can see based on descriptions of the skills. I think everything is generally balanced to what sort of theme you are going for.

  7. As the evening transpired, Lindow was invited to a feast in his honor for saving the child from the clutches of that PKer. But all was calm now as he sat at a rather large table in his formal red tunic and wears. Lenneth sat beside him and her legs swung from her chair happily as she stared at him. Lindow smiled back and then there was an awkward toast. Lindow looked to the speech giver and raised his glass along with everyone else.

"To the Hero, Lindow. For not only bringing about the safety of the Lenneth, but also protecting us from the cloaked mad man earlier. And to the Crimson Blades for becoming a beacon of hope that we can all rest more easy at nights and for quicker outcome of the ending to this Death Game. Here's to you, Lindow of the Crimson Blades."

"Here! Here!" the people shouted and clanked their wine glasses as they bounced from around the room as they sat down and feasted on the great food before him. Lindow had casual conversations with those around him, they offered him a small lodging free of charge if he wished to stay on Floor Four and help keep those pesky PKers away. He accepted the invitation, he had grown to enjoy this floor and the cold snow. Though if he really wanted to protect these people, he would need better equipment. The armor would be made soon, that would just leave an accessory spot and a weapon slot open for him. The Hard Edge was a nice blade, but it need a boost in power before he could even take on another player. Those thoughts were pushed aside when he was confronted by a beauty of a woman, and more so half his age as she leaned over filling his wine cup as she leaned down she spoke sultry tones into his ear, "Should you require company tonight...just send me a message..." Quickly she sent a friend request and her name showed up as 'Delilah.' He accepted the request but he dare not find pleasure in any other woman besides his wife.

  8. With Lenneth on his back, Lindow was able to walk towards Snowfrost more quickly, the extra weight didn't seem to slow him down and they passed through the mobs rather easily avoiding any dangerous routes. Soon the city was in sight and the town's people were happy to see Lenneth safe. As they reached the border of the safe zone, Lenneth climbed down off Lindow's back as he was surrounded by the people as they thanked him.

"I'm so glad Lenneth is safe! You did a remarkable job finding her."
"I'm more than happy to see she is safe and unharmed. Though in the end she found me. It turns out the player that kidnapped her has some sort of Gilles De Raise complex. I would keep an extra eye on the children until I talk with my Guild Mates about imprisoning this player."

"Player?" boomed out a voice, Lindow turned his head upwards as a black cloaked player on top of a roof watched them from below. An orange marker over his head as he laughed and laughed at them, "Pathetic fools. I am not the only one who craves despair and chaos in this world. We are a guild of death dealers! And I am not the only one. We will find your children and play with them, and we will play with you all as well. You have not seen the last of me, Crimson Blades! Muwahahaha!!" The man used a crystal and flashed out of no where in sight. The town's people spoke with hushed tones, Lindow scratched his beard, he would have to bring this up with the council.

  9. The pig's blood had gushed everywhere in the open field raining the emerald grass with crimson as the pig died from the fell swoop of Beor's blade. Lindow looked over his tunic and found dry blood splotches everywhere. He spun the mighty blade with one hand and sheathed it behind him as he dusted his hands free, "Yeah. We can go into the mine and slay some goblins if you'd like if there are any in there. Let me stop off by Mack's tent real fast to pick up my armor. I don't think I could take anything bigger than these boars right now unless I have something decent on."

Lindow departed from Beoreson from the field making a light stride towards the Merchant's District in Starting City. It took the trip roughly fifteen minutes to get his new armor <<Valhalla's Herald>> from the smithy and in due time, "Sorry to keep you waiting. I hope you weren't planning on going without me..." Lindow scanned through his inventory for the new armor he acquired from the Guildy Smith. Tapping a few buttons here and there, Lindow was dawned in the new armor, bright shiny breast plate with intricate patterns with the optional head piece. Lindow nodded his head and wore the Heavy Armor with pride and once more nodded towards Beoreson, "Lead the way, Captain."

OOC: Sleep deprivation is no bueno. Lol. Im using the new armor, so even if I miss a dozen times my next attack will deal lethal damage. XP

  10. Lindow got out his fishing net for the frozen pond and swished it around as many times as he did the last time, Lenneth was telling him about her family as well and that she was an only child. Lindow nodded and explained that he and his wife were thinking of having another child, but he was already an old man at this point but laughed about that. As he removed the fishing net from the cold water, his success rate was much the same as last time. He found what could be described as materials from the descriptions and placed them in his inventory. Those would prove to be useful later on, "Hey! You are quite the lucky charm, Lenneth. Thank you for showing me this spot. I suppose its getting late out now. We better get back to Snowfrost before another blizzard shows up or it gets too dark for us to see.

Lindow lifted himself up as the girl yawned placing a hand over her mouth, "Why don't I give you a piggy back ride back to town? You seem to be tired."

Lenneth watched as he got down on one knee for her to climb onto his back, "Is it really ok?" she asked, but Lindow gave a nod. She jumped on his back and smiled delightfully as he climbed back up to his feet. Nodding to himself he was ready to set back out to Snowfrost.

  11. Lindow frowned, it was true though. He was missing his attacks more and more as the day wore on...maybe he was affected by the stout beer they had drank earlier, he wasn't a big beer kinda guy so maybe the effects were getting to him mentally and making him miss more. Perhaps it was the reverse effect for Beoreson, and alcohol actually made him fight better? Lindow lifted the Hard Edge over his shoulder once more, "I'll give it another try!" he shouted back, though with his luck, he would probably end up missing and falling over in the grass.

As Beoreson had the Fat Boar's attention, he tried to flank the creature again. Removing the weighty object from his shoulder he shifted his weight to the right side of his body and swung his sword around in an arc with both hands. The full swing caught the boar and made a huge gash along side it's belly. Blood seem to spurt from the wound as he finally struck red gold from the injured pig. He yanked his blade free from the wound and hefted the blade over his shoulder and slid his foot forward once more. Finally, a successful strike, that ended his dry spell.

OOC: Where did you learn to do your math, buddy? lol. 10-5+1 does not equal 9. 5 dmg from your weapon skill [+2], base dmg [+1], and weapon [+2]. [+2] Dmg if you actually used/remembered your HvyMomentum. If you have 2 slots in HvyMomentum then that's +2 Dmg on your next successful strike for a total of 7 Dmg. I dont know where you are getting your numbers from other than that. Dont rush your posts, mate. :D

  12. Lindow sat down with his legs crossed, he was amazed he could do that here as opposed to real life. As they waited he told her about his daughter, "Her name is Jasmine and she is seventeen now. The day I put on the NerveGear was the eve of her birthday. In fact this game was her gift since she wanted a full dive unit of her own. I was in the process of testing it out to make sure it was safe before I have it to her the following day. As you can see, I was the one trapped in the game and not her and I am thankful for that. What can I say about Jasmine though?"

He wondered scratching his beard lightly, "Well, like her mother she has long black hair and green subtle eyes. She is a rebellious teen girl and is into that rock scene for the most part. Both her mother and I enjoy a more classical touch to music, but we allow her to explore the nuances of life. She is a capable driver...for the most part, a few close calls at some traffic lights but I am sure she is doing just fine with that now. She should be starting her Junior year in Highschool now if memory serves me. She was a Sophomore last year. She likes to go shopping and buy ridiculous things that don't fit her right or shows too much of something..."

His voice trailed off, the images of his daughter's face seem to warm his body from the cold, the mere thought of his family always brought a calm to his heart, "Sounds like you love her and miss her alot."

"I do. And I plan on seeing her and my wife again someday soon. But first we must get through this game. I heard there was recent strides once again on finding the boss room. The guild I am in will be going to front lines soon as we prepare our equipment and get a little stronger. We have some plans for other things as well, but we all help each other in the end. I am sure your parents miss and love you too, Lenneth."

"Thank you Lindow. I know they do! And I can't wait to go home. If you go to the front, I'll feel much safer knowing you are there helping to beat the game..."

Lindow nodded and smiled warmly at the girl, "Hey! I think the pond refreshed with mats. Have another look!"

  13. Lindow followed the child to the frozen fishing spot, the lake was indeed slippery as they walked slowly along the surface. Lenneth enjoyed it though wobbling back and forth as they neared the small cut out shape of the ice, "Just stick your net down there and you will get bunch of bait and other materials! I even caught a few ore fish, which is kinda rare. Fish made out of shiny material for smithies. A little bit goes a long way!" Lenneth explained.

The peppered hair warrior got down on his knees and selected his fishing net and dipped it into the ice cold waters. He swayed it to the left and to the right as he waited for something to happen, "Alright! Pull it out and let's see what you got!" Lindow fished around for some of the materials in the frozen pond and when he retracted his hand, he found two really good items that could be used as materials and the other was just a lump of seaweed. Lenneth clapped her hands, "Hey that was pretty good! Let's wait a few minutes and try again! We still have plenty of time, right? Maybe you can tell me more about your daughter while we wait?"

  14. "Did you find anything?" Lindow asked shaking his hands free of the snow and dirt he lifted up off the ground, Lenneth smiled back as her catches were much more rewarding than his own. Perhaps picking up that skill wasn't too bad of an idea after all if it helped finding some materials and other things. The Grand Secretary did need a keen eye for such things. He would place that in his mental notes and rework his skill planning later. Getting up from his position, Lenneth came up to him and tugged on his hand once more.

"You are a fisherman, right? I know a frozen pond in the area where you can use your net to catch some nice bait. If you follow me, I can take you there."

Lindow was in dire need of materials. He had to repay Mack for the armor and he was in need of new sword as well, he looked up at the sky. It was setting an orange glow meaning that evening was coming pretty soon. He scratched his peppered beard and leaned down, "Alright. But we need to start heading back pretty soon before it gets dark. I don't wanna be out here in the middle of the night with the nocturnal creatures afoot.

    "Right! Follow me, Lindow!"

  15. As they were passing by a snowy field, the girl tugged on Lindow's hand, "Look!" Lindow followed the point of her finger and found a lone tree in the middle of the snow dune, "I am supposed to help pick herbs for medicine in town for an Alchemist. I normally come out here with a few guards because my Search and Detect skill is so high, I can find materials pretty easily. Will you let me pick up some medicinal herbs before we head back?"

Lindow was unsure if it was a good idea, he surveyed the area with his cloudy colored eyes and nodded as it looked harmless enough. Lindow nodded and they went towards the tree, the snow didn't seem so thick in this spot and Lindow placed a hand on the trunk of the tree.

"Mind if I collect some materials as well? Probably not as good at searching as you are..."

Lenneth smiled as they arrived at the spot, she hunkered down and ran her fingers across the cold grass. She giggled from the cold feeling it gave her as she searched. Lindow bent down on one knee and just grabbed anything he found that could be useful. Shrugging he came up with a hand full of frozen weeds.

  16. Lindow watched as the panic piggy ran circles around the one handed swordsman with the ninja blade. The Grand Secretary of the Crimson Blades watched as his guildmate took a nice chunk out of the monster's health pool, "Nice attack!" Lindow shouted waving his hand back and forth. After the the tussel between the raven haired a warrior and the fat boar, Lindow stepped in with both hands on the hilt of his blade. The Hard Edge gleamed lightly in the evening sky as he raced towards the pig, his sword came down with swiftness  but not swift enough as he cleaved the ground and broke only the grass as his blade was lodged into the earth. With his mighty hands he freed his blade from the earth and hefted it over his shoulder as the Fat Boar circled back around towards Beoreson, "I honestly think the game is mocking me at this point...And! I have no qualms of you making me a better sword. A +3 Keen Two Hander would be more ideal mixed with my armor that I have Mack forging for me...I can get accuracy from an accessory or something."

The Two Handed Swordsman replied and watched the pig squeal in furry as the combat continued.

  17. "Lenneth! Thank you for coming to rescue me. But it seems you were injured in the process, your not wearing much armor and you still came out here looking for me?"

Lindow smiled as they both got up to their feet, "Well, a child in danger is something I can't ideally sit by and allow to happen. I have a daughter at home that I cherish more than the world itself, I would hate for a family to realize their child passed away in game such as this. And you don't need to thank me, my wounds are fully healed so we can get out of here."

The girl was happy someone like him found her, she stayed close to him and pulled on the cloak tighter around her as they searched through the darkness as Lindow was retracing his steps. They came to the open mouth of the cave and the snow storm seemed to have passed. That was good, he didn't want to risk losing her in a blizzard, "Take my hand..the snow dunes can be a bit treacherous here."

Lenneth stared at his big hand for a moment and smiled and grasped it with both of her small ones. Lindow lead them through the terrain, Lenneth was pointing out to the deer she saw running across the field, even though she was stuck in the game she still enjoyed being here. The kids must have it difficult, but she seemed to be enjoying herself none the less.

"You know, there is an orphanage on floor one that could probably take care of you while you are here..."

"I know. But there was a nice couple that took me and the fourth floor is cold and snowy. I love the snow, it reminds me of my family everyday that I am here. So I stay...and I think they enjoy my company."

Lindow nodded, he was happy for at least that.

  18. In Solo Party or threads alone, you are more than welcome to post as much as you want. That seems to acceptable so long as the posts have some depth and not one liners. And the forum was recently upgraded so some of the links will redirect you back to the same page when you click on them. Mari who has been working on the guides has been away for some time dealing with IRL issues, I dont think any of the other staff have yet to fix the situation as well. So you'll have to do a little searching. If you still need help with finding something, let us know. :D

  19. Lindow hefted the heavy blade to one shoulder and leaned on one side, "Hey! It's not my fault the game makes me miss so much!" Lindow watched as Beoreson sped by him to pick up his sword which he had dislodged from his hand when he tackled the boar. Swinging his body around the as the boar came passing by, Lindow was about to strike by the blubbery bacon bit zoomed by so fast that Lindow's strike didn't even complete its downward strike and he missed yet again.

"Hahaha! These pigs are too fast for me, maybe I'll try to spawn a snail or a tortoise next. You know. Something I can actually hit?"

  20. Yet again no answer. Struggling to get up, Lindow placed a hand on the slippery wall and fell over, his wounds were slowly recovering but he felt like he was about to black out from exhaustion. As his eyes blinked there was the hurried footsteps of someone close by. Slamming his sword into the ground, he erected himself with a wobble and called out, "I am not someone you want to mess--!" his speech cut short as he saw a small girl that barely came up to his knee came running out of the shadows. She was breathing hard and nearly collapsed. Lindow gathered her up as he dropped his sword, "Hey! Hold on!" Lindow placed the heavy Crimson Blades' cloak around the small child and helped her up, "By chance...you wouldn't be Lenneth, would you?"

"Yes! I am! Someone kidnapped me late in the night last night. I couldn't see that well who it was, but he was an Orange Player, I did see that much. When I was bound, he told me some dark stories of a man who loved a woman so much and when she was prosecuted for being a witch, the man died on the inside and started doing weird things with children. I didn't understand the story, but he was very evil it seemed. I was so scared!"

"How did you get free?" Lindow asked, "I didn't...He let me go. He said the thrill of the hunt would be more satisfying in the end. As soon as I was free to move, I ran and ran and didn't look back. I would hear his creepy laugh every now and then surrounding me, but then I heard the sounds of battle and came running. Surely it was someone else in here, so I had to see. I waited in the shadows and watched out battle and then called out my name!"

Lindow nodded, "You are safe now. So the man...this Orange Player, he is still around then? That's unfortunate. I will take you back to Snowfrost at once. You should be safe with me around. My name is Lindow, Grand Secretary of the Crimson Blades."

  21. Lindow should have realized that these military men might have gone through a lot in their years of training and field combat, hence the jumpy guildmate when Lindow playfully noogied the guy. He apologized for it but Beoreson was explaining that his 'craziness' hasn't even begun yet and probably won't due to the low adrenalized battle of the fat pigs. A hand on the Hard Edge, Lindow nodded when he suggested they take out another boar, perhaps something with a bit more muscle. Beoreson quickly spots a new sparring partner but its not as muscular as they thought at first glimpse, charging into battle the boar came up and headbutts the body of his armor, not much damage dealt by the boar and his guildmate suggests that Lindow take the flank for a better hit. As he swept around brandishing his monstrous blade, Lindow came down with a cleaving thwack and once more missed the boar by mere inches as it flipped to the other side and snorted with its long snout.

OOC: If the Boar has a Base Dmg of +2, and its did a Minor Crit of +1 on its roll, the dmg it dealt to you would only be 3 not 5. Your +1 Battle Healing and +2 Mit would bring you back to even health. And since your controlling the boar this time, I dont have to make the attack actions against you! Yay! XP

  22. Lindow was about fifteen feet away from the tent when he received a message from Mack to swing back and pick up his gear. The Guild Leader offered a guild discount for his suit of armor and Lindow was eternally grateful for that. The Two Handed Swordsman wandered back to the forger's tent and found Mack need the counter with the glistening set of armor on the display table...

"I take it this...is mine?" Lindow examined the armor piece by piece and found it to be the exceptional piece of work that he had thought it to be, "I'll still pay you back for this Mack. Discount or not. I owe you, this armor will save my butt out there." Lindow quickly swiped over his menu, the buttons popping up and the inventory exposed the new item he just accepted and equipped it on in a heart beat. Moments later his avatar flashed and he was dawned in Valhalla's Armor. There was no doubt, it fit him well and was beyond comfortable to move in. As he moved the metal plates moved with him, a slight noise of metal on metal but nothing disturbingly loud. He could not thank Mack enough for this piece of equipment, someday he would repay the man; his Guild Leader.

    "Thank you."

  23. Lindow glanced and narrowed his eyes at Beoreson for his comment about being the offical Ground's Keeper for the guild, he was going to make a snarky comment but instead he plopped down right next to his brother and shared a brief moment with him to gather himself up, "I got plenty of Col, so you can keep it. I might end up donating mine to the guild as most places here take mats for payments. But I will take that mat, thanks!" Lindow opened his inventory and acquired himself one more material needed to pay for his armor that Mack has been working on for him. He sighed, one more and that armor would officially be his.

"Looks like you are tired or something Beoreson. It's not like you did all the work out there or anything..." Lindow laughed as he brought his arm up over his comrades head and gave him a unforgiving noogy and then released him, "Come on, Partner. You have yet to see my Whack n Miss trick yet." Lindow rose to his feet and held out his hand to his brother in arms, "By the way, you are spawning the next monster...Don't expect me to do all the heavy lifting around here."

  24. With Lindow pinned against the wall, the creature squeezed his throat harder and harder waiting for his head to just pop off. Lindow could feel his body going numb. Soon his struggles became weak to fend off this damn creature. His eyes were going blurry and heavy, and the sword fell from his hand and clammered to the ground with a dull thud. There were thoughts of his family drifting into his mind, his daughter Jasmine, his wife Crystal...how he had failed them in returning to the real world. There was still so much he wanted to be a part of in their lives. Their anniversary, his daughter going off to prom, getting married, being a grandfather...His muscles twitched, his hand came down on the rock beasts arm and then the other did the same. Lindow snapped his head back, his stormy eyes showing vengeance. Grunting loudly, he lifted his feet up and pushed them forward tearing the arms off the gollum. It backed away as Lindow fell to the ground on his feet. He lifted the heavy sword and made a quick stride to the beast. In mid step, he slashed with all his might. The blade came across and destroyed the rock creature into hundreds of fragments before it settled into the nothingness. Lindow was left alone, rewarded for his kill. Another close battle had pushed him to the brink, he relied on his family to help push him through this. Their memories are what kept him going. "Lenneth!!" he called out once more, not foregtting the reason he came here.

  25. The Earth Elemental desired revenge on Lindow. The walls seem to breath and come alive as the creature churned itself within the wall. Lindow looked to his left and right, but there was nothing but mere rumbling. Lifting his sword up, he knew a surprise attack was coming somewhere, but he didn't know where. He stood on guard watching every crag, every rock to see if it would come alive with the creature. He felt the ground tremble, "Below!" Lindow slammed his blade into the ground attempted to dismantle the fiend once and for all, but it was a feint. The creature came from out of the side to the left. Its massive recollected fist grabbed him by the neck and pinned him towards the wall. He chocked and sputtered, he kicked to free himself. But he watched as his HP bar slowly drained little by little as the grip on his throat tightened.
