  1. This rage, this ferocity, it was building and mounting within him waiting to explode. He leaned back and gave a mighty roar from deep within. The loud roar seemed to terrorize the creature as confusion settled in. Heavy steps ran towards the boulder beast as he whipped his sword from left to right. The mighty swing of his trusty blade crashed into the hide of the Rock Beast and sent it a foot into the opposite direction of his blade. There came a bellow of of pain from the mob as it cracked and fragmented from the blow. Stanggering over it's own leg, it fell into a clump of mess trying to gather itself once more. Its body quickly becoming one with the wall as to reclaim the lost limb that Lindow had just recently cleaved off.

  2. Lindow was ready to throw a slash at the beast but came to slow as he was pulverized by the weight of a rocky boulder thrown at him. His head and body jerked back as he landed on the ground face up. The bones in his body sounded liek they were cracking as he felt a massive surge of pain shot through his right shoulder. The signals in his brain were telling him there was something wrong as his shoulder pulsated with a dull but on going pain. Breathing heavily, he slammed his massive blade into the ground and heaved himself upwards onto his legs. Trying to take air into his lungs, the swordsman slid his right foot out once more and hefted the blade over his shoulder. Why was he pushing himself so hard now? What was making him fight so badly? Was there an anger he needed to release? Rage? The feeling of not being able to control your outcome. Lindow growled lowly, and he lashed out at the giant.

  3. There was yet another stand off between the two of them as the cavern settled. They each took a swipe at one another and found nothing but air to smack at. The cleave of the blade was knocked away and the creature was unable to connect with a thick foot to the gut of Lindow. As they collided with one another and fought off the attacks, they clashed and distanced themselves once more. He was lucky and unlucky of this combat system, both he and the creature were having horrible time getting a clean shot in. The creature switched tactics down, find a spiky rock to pick up, it lifted the massive fragments and threw it towards Lindow. He wheezed as he jumped out of the way and rolled to the left. On one knee he shot forward with his blade dragging behind him.

  4. Once more, he turned the blade broadside out and deflected the heavy smash to the side. When he twisted the blade once more, he fumbled with the aim and missed his target and lost his footing. He fell to one knee as the hammer of a fist came driving down into him like a spike through a rail. Lifting the massive blade over his head he felt the brutal blow as it attempted to break through his defense. Lindow pushed upwards with all his strength and got a foot of distance between him and the Boulder Entity. It slammed both of its hammer like fists into the ground once more breaking rock and debris from the ceiling. Lindow moved left and right evading the falling spiky rocks as he wished not to be impaled by them.

  5. Lindow's blade came down like a smiting hammer into the rocky beast, but it shifted its weight and was engulfed into the rocky wall it was pinned to. Being devoured by the crag of rock, Lindow jumped back a foot to gather himself. He was breathing mildly heavy, he coughed once or twice the cold once more creeping up on his bones. His eyes felt tired and weak, his body had begun to slow down, "Come out and face me you coward..." Lindow watched the walls as they rumbled lightly with the movements of the Rock Beast. His eyes slowly narrowed into slights, his hands tight on the hilt of his behemoth sized blade. The Two Handed Warrior snapped his head to the right as the walls shifted and parted for the creature as it's fist came flying for him.

  6. The Hard Edge had a taste for the creature twice now and started to crave more and more of it's rocky hide. Lindow was not going to allow this abomination to get the better of him this day. Beady onyx eyes stared at the beast as it moved towards the elderly member of the Crimson Blades. Lindow passed one foot over the other as they circled one another wondering who would strike first. Iron against rock collided as sparks were created from the two components. His stormy eyes flickered when his heavy sword deflected the attack of the Rock Beast and it stumbled back, once more a hard thrust into its rocky exterior as Lindow seized the opportunity to take another crack at it. Rock crumbled off the rocky flesh of the beast as it grunted with pain. Lindow dug deeper into the rock's flesh and then pulled it out with a heave. Shower of rock fragments exploded from the exposed wound of the earth giant as it fell against the wall holding itself up. Lindow lifted his blade over his shoulder, he would not stop attacking.  Stronger! Become stronger!

  7. Breathing heavily from the last round, Lindow grunted as he got up to his knees and peeled his blade from the rocky ground. His eyes stared upwards as the creature came down on top of him. The mighty foot colliding with the earth as he rolled out of the way of the goliath's massive feet. Snarling, he whipped his body out of the way as he grabbed his sword and swung upwards. The hurried momentum cross slashed the Rock Beast in the chest as it exploded with a rocky fragments. The creature staggered to the left and right roaring with a sort of pain as it slammed into the wall. Lindow was without remorse for it as he threw his blade with both hands and thrust it into the chest of the creature and turned it lightly until it growled at him. It reached out to attempt to tear his face off, but the bold warrior yanked free of his weapon from the depths of the creature's hide and spun the blade back over his shoulder.

  8. His foot slid forward and the blade came down crashing into the ground again threatening to cleave the monster in half. Lindow turned his blade a quarter and used a side stepping momentum to slash horizontally at the beast. There was nothing to slash at as the beast seemed to disappear within the wall. Lindow turned on the balls of his feet, his hands were cold and his body was moving slower and slower due to the freezing temperatures even within this dank cavern the air was chilly and biting his exposed flesh. He shivered as he continued to look around. There was a horrible growl from beneath him as a rocky spike came crashing into him. He was uprooted from his position and fell down horrible twisting and rolling into the ground as he fell. A chunk of his HP was decreased as he slowly, very slowly lifted his body up with both hands. His sword spiraling towards him as it fell beside his feet.

  9. Lindow shield his body from a shower of rock and debris as the creature slammed its foot down into the earth. Heavy rocks fell from the ceiling crashing below as the ground and cavern shook like a mini earthquake. The warrior stumbled left and right and thrust his blade into the earth and held on for dear life as the cavern floor shifted from the breaking of its plates. His stormy eyes cast long at the bouldering brash creature as it snarled at him with a deep guttural sound. Once more unsheathing his blade from the earth, Lindow hefted the weighty instrument on one shoulder, there had to be a weakness or something for this monster and he was wasting too much time as it was fighting it off. That little girl could be in trouble, injured, sick...

As the Rock Warrior came cruising towards him sliding along the ground as it normally did, it shot a hard fist at the Crimson Blade's Grand Secretary. Lifting his broad blade upwards the creature smashed right into his blade and deflected the attack away but at the same time Lindow was unable to successfully make a counter attack. Sliding a foot back from his opponent, Lindow once more got into stance to get ready for an attack. This battle was far from over.

  10. Rolling to the left he evaded from being pressed into a pancake from the goliath's foot smash. The harsh metal against the cold floor came to life with a spark as he dragged his blade from one side to the other in an arc. Whipping it around his body once more, he followed with a charge, his crimson cloak billowing out behind him as he made an aggressive stride against the rocky giant. Lifting his blade upwards, he came down to smash another part of its arm. The creature evade the blow and his blade got stuck in the crag of the rock. Pulling the massive blade out took a great deal of effort as he grit his teeth as it came out of the earthern wall. Narrowing his eyes, the two foes faced one another as they circled each other. It was a stand off as not one or the other was making any intentional falts.

  11. The clash of metal against rock resounded deep in the cave as Lindow continued his fight with the Gollum.  Swoosh! Swoosh!  came the mighty sword left and right as he swung it against the creature. He moved in for a lunging attack but missed once more, for a rock creature it was pretty mobile as it slid along the floor as it was part of its body. It grunted and spiraled around him throwing punches against his broad blade. The grapple lasted for a few moments before the swung at one another and missed. Lindow staggered from his attack and was thrown off balance, he smashed the blade into the ground to stop himself from falling and had to maneuver out of the way from a stomp.

  12. As LIndow rested in the cave, he found several shiny objects littered about the cavern. He knew with his luck, there wouldn't be any free materials lying about, but it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye out for any just in case. The blizzard outside seemed to war on and on in the bitter climate of floor four, and he wasn't sure when it would cease. Perhaps this cavern could lead out to another part of the floor where he could search for the missing girl. He had a lot to explore and by now the footprints outside would have been snowed over. Maybe she was able to find shelter in one of the caves, Lindow picked himself up keeping an eye on the ground for lose mats and also called out the girls name.

"Lenneth!!" Lindow stopped and bellowed out the name, there was no response except his echo shouting back at him. He continued further into the cavern but as he was coming up a small inlet in the cave a rock beast found itself upon the ground and looking down at Lindow. It was a huge creature, threatening with big shoulders and frame. Lindow unsheathed the Hard Edge from behind him and hefted the weighty blade over one shoulder. He had no time to mess with this creature. Shouldering the mighty weapon upon his sturdy shoulder, Lindow came down with a massive cleave as it shattered the Rock Beast's arm with one blow, it gave a loud and deep roar as it kicked Lindow for a counter attack and threw a punch into his frame. Sliding back several feet, Lindow turned his blade over to one side with both hands and got back into stance.

  13. There was a great deal of commotion outside, especially in the early morning light and Lindow had barely woken up. Yawning and stretching, he looked outside his window to see a gathering of people just outside. He thought it to be odd that so many were clustered in one spot, something must have happened. As Lindow got dressed in his armor, he slung the Crimson Blades' cloak over his shoulders and walked outside, his trusty Hard Edge on his back in tow. As he came up to the villagers of Snowfrost they were all talking about a missing child, but not only a missing child there was a mysterious person lurking around in the night as well. No one wasn't sure what was going on, but they were all equally frightened.

    "When did they go missing?"

"Late in the night I believe, there were foot prints leading into one of the caves by the massive snow dunes to the east."

"What is the child's name?" Lindow asked.

    "Lenneth..."

Lindow nodded, a small helpless girl. What was she doing out in the middle of the night anyway? Lindow felt it was his duty to help with the search, no one else didn't seem prepared as he was to do so. He calmed the villagers and said he would go out looking for the girl. He was given extra food and water for his trip and he graciously accepted them. Lindow nodded to the folk and told them to not worry as he will find the missing child. With his back turned, he set out on his journey for the missing girl. The fourth floor was uncaring and could be brutally cold at times, even for a man weathered as himself. He continued his trek through the harsh climate, the cold bitterly snapping at his exposed flesh as he lifted his legs high to move through the thick snow blankets. His cold eyes set for a small cave to rest, it was a familiar cave but they all looked the same. He had to stop and rest as the snow outside started to turn into a bitter blizzard downfall. His back set against the cavern wall, little warmth seem to be present from just outside the mouth. He would have to travel deeper to warm up. Beating the cold flakes off his crimson garb, Lindow found a safe spot to rest.

  14. Lindow watched as the attacks of his guildmate produced a comical situation as the flying bacon was sent hurdling a few feet away from him. Lindow was awestuck at the easy nature of his attacks, every single one of them connecting and Lindow couldn't get one attack in to save his life, "It's a good thing you are here Beor, or else I might have been dead by now." Lindow had lifted his greatsword up and sent it pummeling into the ground while the Fat Boar was making its way back to its fiendish enemy, Beor! It squealed and zig zagged left and right as Lindow tried to take a crack at it as it ran by, it was too quick for the slow footed warrior and the reach was just too short to catch. Grunting from the missed swing, he placed the heavy blade down and leaned on it with his weight. The rattled baconator charged once more at Beor, but he scoffed at the attack as it did little damage to his new armor and his hit points.

"Well if anything..." he looked around, "I'll be a damn good lawn mower..."

  15. Lindow circled around the Fat Boar while Boereson was making short work of it with his fancy sword wielding. Lindow was stoic in expression, his cold colored eyes of overcast clouds seem to ponder on where to lay the next attack. The Boar was peppered with brilliant strikes from the Tanking Swordsman, and yet Lindow was just more or less 'getting in the way.' He hefted the heavy blade over his shoulder as he came closer to the unaware Boar. A mighty cleaving slash came down and erupted the earth with broken grass and brown dirt as he was able to successfully cleave nothing. He sighed as the Pig jumped from one side to the next, it didn't even pay attention to Lindow at this point. Shaking his head to Beoreson, "Well, I can't hit it for the life of me. Go ahead and kill it, Beor...We'll see if the next beast will allow me to get a shot in or two." That was all he was able to do at this point. With no gear to call his own, Lindow was pretty much the weakest link in the entire guild. Things looked grim for the elder warrior.

OOC: Didnt see you had the HvyArmor Skill, good on you for catching that. :D HP of Boar should be 10, since you attacked it twice for 10 points. And I have hit it for a total of 0!! RNGesus!! RY!??

  16. "You are just showing off now..." Lindow said to the man a few yards away, his Hard Edge still upon his shoulder as he looked the Fat Boar in the eyes. Removing the weapon from his shoulder, the mighty blade fell to the ground with a thud and he whipped it to the right side of him. He parted his legs and and shifted to a new form. While Beoreson had Hate generated towards him from his last successful attack, it seemed like the Gluttonous Pig had its attention towards him. Lindow found this to be a good opportunity to get a slash in while Beor acted as the tank of the two, he did have the higher HP after all. Lindow went in for a quickl slash but failed at doing so. He was able to do a cross slash but the aim went to far above the pig. Missing his attack, the Oinker snorted and charged for Beoreson once more and hit him in the gut before falling down on its chubby legs.

  17. He gestured with a hand to Beoreson to lead the way. As they were walking through the city they were addressed with friendly head nods and waves from other people, Lindow respectfully bowed his head back, he still wasn't used to this old timey ways of life, he was much more comfortable sitting at a computer or something else with technology, then again...he wasn't too thrilled with the latest development of being stuck in the actual game. Placing a hand on his forehead he gave a low self sigh as the two comrades made for the main gate inside the safe zone. Beoreson was at the ready, his gear making a ruckus as they walked out into the open fields to slay some pigs.

"Well, making all that racket, we're not going to sneak up on anything. Alright, let's take this piggy out." Lindow hefted the giant blade over his shoulder and swung his body into stance. Beoreson was ready to slice and dice the thing at a moment's notice, but Lindow sprang into action first, "Too slow TinCan!" Coming up to the Fat Boar, Lindow ripped the earth with his massive blade striking the surface of the ground and cutting everything in it's path except for the Fat Boar. Snorting and hopping up and down, the gluttonous creature rushed towards Lindow and slammed its meaty head into his chest and shot him back. The force caught him by surprise as he slid and gathered himself up..."Well, I take that back.." Lindow said hefting his blade once more over his shoulder.

  18. "Well..." Lindow didn't have any armor besides the very basic tunic and vest which were dyed red since he was become a Crimson Blades member, he shot Beoreson a look, "Don't worry. I always bring my gear just in case anything happens." Initiating the menu with a poke of his finger, he scrolled to his equippable items and equipped the massive two handed sword known as Hard Edge, upon his body he wore the crimson tunic and upon that he wore a hardened leather vest, the basic of basics of starter equipment.

"If you wanna test out your new equipment, we can go out to the fields and round up some bacon. It'll be a good idea to learn each other's styles as well to see if we can feed it into Boss Combat later on. I think you might be quicker on your feet than I am since I wield a massive blade. But we'll see how it goes." Lindow got up from his chair, they were still in the forge area and he felt like stretching his legs out. Some good ol' fashioned combat sounded like a nice idea to kill the rest of the day. "Let's go Mr.Ninja Guy."

  19. Lindow followed his guild mate to the back behind a heavy set oaken door and gestured that the room was in the back. Nodding, they went to the back. It felt a lot warmer back there was he opened the door and clearly a much larger workspace than the actual 'shop.' Lindow whistled as he saw an array of materials over one table, a set of tools neatly laid out and the master forge. Beor had introduced his cub to Lindow who seemed to be watching him very carefully. Lindow stared back at the cub, a small smile. He was indifferent about pets, didn't have one back home but he knew they made great companions for people. Lindow...was just not the sort of person to have a dog or cat about the house though he has been asked on several, several occasions from his daughter to get her a puppy when she was younger. However, that phase has yet to die as she still asked periodically. Lindow sat down in the chair that his friend had set up for him, and explained what sort of weapon he was going to forge today. He was given a lesson in the style of a ninja, he heard of some swords like katanas and whatnot, but his history of the orients wasn't what he would call...well known. He knew of some things from martial arts movies which he indulged in as he was an action flick kinda guy.

Beoreson worked on the smithing of the weapon while Lindow was instructed to close his ears, he didn't expect the hammering to be so loud but none the less he placed his hands over his ears to muffle the sound and what came out to be a perfect blade from the looks of it, the hints and subtle changes of the steel reflected in the prowess of the Blacksmith, "That's a nice blade there. Looks a little skinny for my tastes, but I am sure it's a fantastic piece of work." Lindow nodded with approval as he looked the sword over, the quality was superb.

  20. Lindow was up at the crack of dawn, as he normally is. He did his morning routine of stretches and push ups on the floor and gathered his armor and weapon. The blade Hard Edge fitted him well for the most part, but being a uncommon at best was something to be frowned upon as it was a significantly lower quality than his Heavy Armor that was forged not too long ago by the Guild Leader and the Wizard with a Hammer, Mack. As he equipped the items, the massive sword was latched to back of the Valhalla's Herald, and he was littered in chain links and armor. As he moved there was quite a bit of noise coming from him, he wondered if this would draw the attention of the enemy. He narrowed his at the thought and dismissed it. Having the armor on made him feel more comfortable than the crimson tunic and vest he was sporting earlier. As he was dressed, he walked down to the floor of the inn on Floor Four. Snowfrost was his current home and the lodgings were nice, and more tucked away than the constant goings of Starting City. There was a quest on the floor above him but first he had to trigger it.

And for this quest he was going to bring a Guild Member along who needed the same skill as he, Lindow went through his menu and sent the message to Beoreson:

    To: Beoreson
    From: Lindow
    Subject: The Traveler

Hey Buddy! Good morning. I hope your not still sleeping. I'll meet you on Floor One in the Market District so we can trigger the event for the quest. I'll see you then.

  21. Lindow had stepped side by side with his comrade with his massive weapon over hsi shoulder. One hand kept it on the hilt while his body slightly slouched from the weight of his oversized weapon, "I see...We'll let's see how it likes me!" Lindow took a step forward as he placed both hands on the hilt of his Hard Edge, the weighty instrument of destruction came down in a cleaving manner that made the surface of the cave rumble like a mini earthquake. The Crystal Fiend laughed as it easily dodged the strike, even though the floor had shaken the Ore Eater was not intimidated by the weapon or its size. In fact, in mockery, it lunged at Lindow as he was removing his weapon from the broken earth and was gouged in the ribs. He roared and staggered backwards gripping the wound with his hand, "Just a light scratch...I'm alright."

  22. Lindow looked down at his fizzy drink, he didn't have to wonder too long to know what he was going to do next, "Yes, thank you. The information you have given me has indeed inspired me to start working. First off, I'll be taking on that weapon quest. I feel this lump of steel I carry won't be suitable much longer. There are a few other quests I may take up as well for some extra skills for tanking. I have given thought and I plan on seeking out like minded individuals that will help support our community. I am not sure how far it will go, but I am sure there are a few people out that would be willing to team up with like goals. I plan to study tonight, well, this week and hopefully get things started. Profession, Quests and a myriad of material hunting sprees. I'll be keeping a close eye on those who need help as well, to teach them as you have taught me. Once more a toast to you, Calrex. To lighter days, good will and surviving, one day at a time."

He raised his glass and nodded to his Mentor, he might not be as one, but he was a teacher with valuable lessons that could be learned for everyone. Lindow also had t make sure he would not die while he was out adventuring, one day he would want to cross swords with his Mentor and show him how much he has learned. That would be a day to remember.

  23. The wielder of the Hard Edge nodded, he understand the implications of family when choosing one path over the other, especially if the said path was more of the nightmarish route. Lindow had wanted to join the military at some point in his life, but after having a wife and child, things had to be looked at with a different perspective. He wasn't just responsible for himself anymore, but those two as well. He was happy for that fact though, at least he could eventually retire and still have a family. He was silent, but he understood the risks that Beoreson was taking when he became an Officer, much like Lindow did when he accepted his position as DC.

The question came out of no where, and Lindow was somewhat curious as how a forge is worked under these game mechanics. Lifting himself up along with his mug, he gestured to his comrade, "I always wanted to see something being forged by a Blacksmith. I guess this is a great chance since you are offering. Lead the way..."

Lindow assumed they would be going towards the forging area, he wondered if he would be hammering away at piece of steel over an anvil for the next few hours. He scratched the back of his head, "I'd take you down to the Fisherman's Wharf...but...Well, I find it relaxing...But watching someone else fish...well, that might make some people fidget too much. Hahaha." Lindow was ready to follow Beor.
