As all the bodies were cleared away, they had made tunnels with their bodies, tunnels even deeper into the ground.
'Wow, the Aincrad was really this deep on the first floor, I would never had been imagining that' he thought as he would climb lower and lower into the bottom of the pits. He would grab on onto one of the fungus down there, glowing fungus it seemed like. A total replica of a deep cave scenario.
-
The vines would get very close, so Macradon had only his chance of using his Cyclone to rip it through the roots in a horizontal swing as he also hit the vines. The battle cry of the plant would emit again, though this was because of their death. The vines were total damaged and Macradon somehow hit the right spot on them. They would fall down to the ground as he would check the looting HUD for the Ovule. Nothing, not yet. So maybe it really was a boss drop.
-
Out of a sudden, his battle healing would heal him up to 6 hp again while the thorn would scratch him down to 5. His sword would still not get out of the grip from the roots, so he would still keep on trying to rip it out of the grasp of the roots. The thorns would get close again while Macradon would jump around, still holding firmly on his sword.
-
As he would land with the wrath of his attack, he roots and vines would just maneuver around the sword and grab around the sword, trying to pull it away from Macradon. He would just try to shake it away as he would buy as much time he could get for his battle healing to take effect. Right now he would be down to 4 hp with barely anything left to save him from a devastating blow from another vine. He would try to dodge as much as he could with an immobile sword.
-
With a swift movement with his sword, he managed to destroy the roots and slash the vines wit ha sharp edge on his sword. Then a reverse slash with the back end of the sword, which was also sharp. He would destroy most of the roots and vines, but some stayed and would grab unto Macradon again. He would jump up and Avalanche the vines as the came closer to him.
-
He would not hit as he jumped too far, he had to train a bit more before he would be able to calculate that. He would then get hit by two piercing vine as a group of roots would fly up from the ground, grabbing around Macradon. The thorn vines would then begin to slash him, one after one. Dealing tremendous damage upon Macradon who struggled to get out of the grip. No paralyzing blows were dealt, only hard hitting and tearing lashes.
-
A screech would appear as he cut one of the vines. A flood of screeches would then appear while a flock of plants emitted from the ground, sprouting up as newborn with more fierce weaponry than thorns. More limbs and being able to go down into the ground and sprout up again. One of them died from the cut, but that was one, out of many.
A couple of thorn vines were lashing towards Macradon as he would jump out of the way and Cyclone them.
-
As he would find out, it was not something with light, it was basically just dead plant vines he would find out as some light would get through some cracks on the wall. He would look around, just an empty room, how the light came all the way down here was a mystery, but here it was. Macradon would just walk around, trying to look for another entrance to a room. he would look up and down, beneath the dead plants and the wounded tree walls.
While looking around, he would try to cut walls, ground and plants with his sword, trying to find an entrance somewhere.
-
He saw that Dande would leave the party, and by so, the quest was done, Macradon would disband the party and listen to the remark that Dande would give the two boys a friend request.
''Well, I sent one to you both earlier today, just as we met.'' he would answer as he would wipe away his tears and strap his big sword to his back again.
-
As he would walk into one of the underground rooms, he would not be able to see any of the walls, they were all covered in vines and roots. Macradon would use his sword and cut around, trying to see if there are any openings as that would make more sense for plants to be underground. Lifeforms needed sunlight, did Virtual creatures need that too? Macradon would just jump around, trying to cut as much on the top and the sides of the room, trying to get some light in as it was very dark.
-
They would all go down, one by one after the chain strike. He would just smile as they would all fall with a cry for help. Macradon would jump away, trying to locate anything needed for this to be done, he would open up the quest log again and look for the item he was needed to find.
Retrieve a medicine ingredient «Little Nepent's Ovule».
Macradon haven't found any of that yet, but he would just lurk around in the hive of the Nepent's as he would try to find the queen, that would mostly have the requested quest item.
-
The plant would die with the first strike he made upon the vine, with courage he would run to the next plant and slash it at the exact spot as the one before on the vine. He would then also go the the next and do the same and then again. Expecting them all to go all pixel with the death strike. His health would go up to 11 again by his battle healing so that would be great to keep by his side and try to train it up so he would regain health faster.
-
It was ineffective, it was not the roots nor the vines which were the weak spots, then what could it be. He had slain a bunch of the mobs by cutting their vines, what could it be that killed them. Maybe specific spots on the vines and not just the entire vine nor root. He would try to aim for different spots on the vines and then watching how much health would go down on the plants.
-
His Exp went up a lot, soon level 6 if he kept killing like this, but how did so many die? Was there more people down here? The only thing he hit was the vines the whole way down. Now it hit him, of course he didn't do a lot of damage to them, he was always dealing with the immobile body and not carrying about the vines as he thought they were only weapons and not vital for the mob. He would rush towards the closest plant which was isolated from the rest of the group and the go for the roots underneath the plant and the vines, trying to gut most of the from giving signal to the body or the vines getting signals from the body, whichever it was.
-
He would jump down into the hole, not grabbing anything than his sword to edge it into the side of the tree and glide downwards, cutting the vines. He would fall with a controlled pace, though he could slow down and speed up by the angle the sword would be held inside the tree side. He would just fall down to the bottom and see all the plants who's vines were lingering to the sides of the tree, it was those vines he had been damage on his way down. Many of them died from that, as the speed and massive damage was dealt the long way down.
-
Walking even further into the jungle, he came to what looked like a dungeon, a tree with a deep hole that would go down a long time, while having lots of vines, thorns, insects and some light flowing in. The air was dense and moist and uncomfortable to breath, but Macradon had to look for this beastly plant.
-
Macradon has learned their attack pattern, their attacks position and their attack methods, but Macradon had still not found their weak spot. He would keep on looking, trying to get into a great position to defeat these plant quicker, so he would be able to defeat the greater boss. He would still run around, trying to find another pant so he would be able to analyze it more into depths.
-
As his attacks were futile, he would then go to another method. Just a lot of hack and slash, without no real concentration. With swift slashed, he made the plant disappear with the many strikes. He would smash everything down and run again, not bothering about the loot from the plant. He would simply try to find another plant and use that when it was dead.
He would find another plant and rush towards it with his attacks.
-
Not a lot of damage was done, but the plant seemed to stand still. He would keep his pace with swipes of normal attacks, trying to keep his combo of normal attacks without breaking his damage output. He would keep his DPS high while evading attacks, but right now, not many attack were thrown. Macradon would throw a last Avalanche as his killing blow.
-
He would get himself free, and do the damage done. A fast swipe at the vine holding his leg would loosen the grip as the damage would hurt the plant. Then as a vertical drop, Macradon would use his sword and slash downwards with an Avalanche, cleaving a good chunk of damage down onto the plant, then a Cyclone to quickly give it another hit. It would be enough to make it die and pixelate and disappear. Just the normal drop as usual, nothing special.
He would locate another plant very fast as he had learned the pattern of their ranged assaults and with a sprint Cyclone, he would try to slice a horizontal line through the plant, then a slash back and then cyclone again, ending it with stab and pull himself up in the air, slashing vertical with an Avalanche.

It was hard to pick out an epic song of the Two Steps from Hell franchise ... but To Glory is by far my favorite after I just listened 3 albums through quickly xD
-
As he would hang down head down with his health getting lower and lower by the strong swipes of the plant. Macradon would try to use his willpower, but the programmed paralyzing would hold him still as his health went down by a lot as he would now be at 5. As he looked upon his health bar, the status was gone and he could freely move now. He was above the plant so he chose to make a normal swipe against the vine again and then an Avalanche with the bonus force of the height and that he was above the plant, then a Cyclone to finish everything of.

''Fat ... I'm ... not ---fat'' he would say as he would make a crying face as he turned around.
'Sassy bird ... wow' he thought as he would just sob for himself as he sat down, but happy he was of that they had finished the objective and the quest.

A quick glance went around everything as he would strap his sword to his back again as this tunnel, or cave, would turn smaller and smaller until he had to crawl on all four. He would not have anymore space for the fungus so he would drop it again and try to figure a way out of here. The cave would then go slightly upwards and then more and more upwards. It would then stop at an edge, no hole just a wall of dirt. There was space to stand up and walk again, so he would pull out his sword and perform a cyclone, trying to see if there were anymore 'secret entrances'.
