     You know you've got the worst luck when in your first ever boss battle, the guy targets you on about a 1% to 2% chance not once, but twice, for a capturing stun, not 4 turns before you get to make a move.

Hey, I'm just happy I got my items approved (does a happy dance all over the place).  FINALLY! :) A week is much too long to wait for approval (sad face, replaced by giddy smiles for all!!!!)

Yeah, that's what I meant, though; the assault team needs to kill 32 of them, and only...maybe 24 have gone down, so unless Nero ends up making a thread of his own (and who knows what the GMs will do) there needs to be one more thread of 8 made to kill.  Right?

Cal, did you forget...that there were only three war threads going?  So far as I know...that leaves one to be done.  Or am I wrong, was there a thread besides Ariel's, Tristan's and Rebekah's?

Methinks the bluenette is simply commenting on Nero and Unknown decimating several darkened souls in those war threads, unless he knows some we do not...?  Makes one wonder...will they take out those last eight before some of us (thumbs pointing wildly at myself) are able to reach 25? (crosses fingers and hopes that is not the case, so Brax can get the war rewards XP)

Perhaps someone wished to talk up a stone?  This Stalwart Stoic is...in need of more companions to...awkwardly try and get him to open up.

Actually, I think you could, seeing as how the physics of the game are malleable.  For example, if you were to, say, wrap your whip around an object of sufficient density, and then slam that into the giant's head twice before it broke, you would achieve the same velocity damage as picking up the target creature and slamming it into the ground instead.  Newton's laws dictate that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, thus the Sword Art itself deals with one movable thing striking another immovable one, whether it be the mob or the ground.  And, if the giant is immovable, then conversely the 'ground' must be movable in order to satisfy the attack parameters.  My two cents, anyway.  Take it how you will.
