  1. OOC - Heh heh.  Why thank you.  ;)

Domarus felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around, anxious to see a player who actually had the courage to walk up to him, let alone touch him.  He hoped he would find a player worthy of turning into a follower but as of yet nobody had the slightest courage.  He smiled when he saw the player who greeted him.  He seemed a little energetic, strong, and carried himself well.  The look in his eye told him he knew what he was doing.  And yet he was still in his starter outfit.  Still when the player talked about col and material hunting he automatically knew that this player knew much more than he did.  He needed to learn more about Aincrad so he could hold his own and rise to the top.  He couldn't do it alone either, so he would need to befriend players and make followers.  If this player was like most people, he could kill two birds with one stone.  And it wasn't as if he were going to persuade him immediately.  As always he planned on slowly befriending the man until he was ready for light manipulation.  Then he'd slowly continue until the man was either his follower or just a 'friend'.

"Oh hey there!  Well I can honestly say that I have no idea what you'd need coal for, nor where or how to find it, and the same goes for materials.  If you teach me how though, I'd be glad to help!"  The situation worked perfectly.  Arc had helped him get the gist of combat and this player would help him understand gathering.  He understood that until he reached a more powerful level, he could not risk soloing under any circumstances.  He'd need a combat partner and fast if he was going to progress anywhere.  Perhaps this player was good at combat and was just low on supplies.  Either way this was a great opportunity and he never passed them down.

  2. Domarus was hearing Esther talk about how she saw the world as there was always a spark of hope, of light, of goodness in everyone.  Domarus agreed to some extent.  Except he used that goodness to further his goals.  He knew how to trigger certain strings in other's hearts and minds to either guilt them or make them believe he was right.  He wasn't a master manipulator for nothing.  He said nothing on the matter though.  She had enough of his personal beliefs today and he vowed never to open up like that again.  It was time to try softening up again, butter her up.  He sighed, changing his mind about replying.

"I suppose you're right to a point.  Everyone has a tiny bit of goodness don't they?  The question is that are they stupid with that goodness by doing more than their capable of?  Or do they only accomplish a little at a time?"  He listened as she told him that her mistress, Mari, didn't actually want her along and had tried to push her away but that she felt obligated to keep her word.  Oh, so she's one of those?  As she continued though Domarus became very interested indeed.  A full boss by herself eh?  In that case he would definitely like to meet her at some point...  In the future of course.  If he were to though, he'd need to make sure he was on this girl's good side.  He figured that if he made her his friend, this Mari character would be a bit friendly to him.  Perhaps if he saw the girl in a life threatening situation and saved her...  It was cliche but it worked from time to time.  Or perhaps he would need to higher a pker to set up the scenario and they fling beliefs back and forth.  He mentally shook his head as he would need more time to figure out what to do.  Either way this was an opportunity he could not simply pass off.  Especially if she was as strong as this girl says she was.  If this Mari figure decided that he needed to be taken out after he rose with his followers, she would be a definite threat.

"Sounds like you have it perfectly then.  If you really do like having a collar on and you like this 'Mari' character, and she's able to protect you, then what else do you need?  I mean you could try gaining a few friends besides her.  It's never a good idea to have just one.  The more the merrier right?"  This of course, was a lie and he knew it.  He only had one real friend.  All others were followers or servants.  But he needed her good side so he decided to lighten up and be a bit cheerful.  This suddenly became extremely difficult as she basically insulted him to his face.  After she apologized he used all his strength to keep his body loose and sighed.

"In the first town I watched as there were thousands of players who did nothing but wallow in their despair.  Those players can't do anything.  I'm different.  I'm ready to take on challenges, but neither am I stupid.  And despite that I may be a bit proud from time to time I'm smart enough to tell when someone knows something I don't.  How about you show me how to search for materials?  I heard those could be used as currency and I need equipment soon."

  3. Domarus cocked an eyebrow as she exclaimed his size.  Wow, way to state the obvious he thought.  He didn't think she was being rude but she did show him just how innocent and pathetic she probably was.  Yet she seemed to know that she had nothing to fear from him.  Seeing the extra gear on her besides starter clothes he realized that somehow this innocent, fragile little girl had made it to a higher level he was.  Perhaps she wasn't as innocent as she'd like him to believe.  Either way at least she wasn't incompetent.  He watched her mess with the collar in a seemingly habit like way before addressing the question.  He fought back the urge to laugh as she called the one who gave her a collar mentor rather than master or protector.  Protector indeed!  This was an interesting catch and Domarus was pleased to have caught her now.  However it was in his experience that the only way to properly teach lessons was to punish those for their stupidity.  This girl seemed to be in desperate need of a few beatings to harden her up and strengthen her.  However he very well knew the unspoken rule between masters.  Never mess with their servant, or in this odd case, apprentice.  He would not lay a hand on her.

"Tsk.  Mentor indeed.  There's no such thing kid.  There is only masters, servants, helpers, and those who can't do anything and are therefore rendered useless.  The idea of a simple teacher is pathetic in itself."  He focused on her as she extended her hand to him, introducing her name.  He fought the urge to narrow his eyes.  Clearly her 'mentor' never taught her how to speak to others when she was such a low class as this.  Still, despite the fact that he wasn't putting on a show of curtesy for this girl, he wouldn't be cruel to her either.  She may be useful if her master and he got on the wrong foot...  Or the other way around where she could be the key to getting her master's submission.  Either way only time would tell.  Sighing he took her hand with force, not strong enough to hurt her, and shook it.

"I'm Domarus kid.  May I ask why you chose Esther and if it means something or if you just thought it sounded cool?"

    @Esther

  4. Domarus had finally learned how to sneak past the boar guarding the gate entrance and now wandered the first floor with ease.  With no other players around he did nothing to hide the darkness that resided within him.  Days and weeks pleasing others, smiling and waving, acting so cheerfully to win people over.  And without Keres, his only friend/servant to vent upon all the frustration piled up and was now slowly leeching out as he kicked a large branch as he walked.  His huge size was enough to scare away low level mobs along with his expression.  His two handed battle ax hung on his back but other than this he looked pathetic.  A low level piece of crap that could be defeated easily.  It was his goal to become the most powerful player with multiple followers and servants.  He had already found someone suitable for the role named Arc.  All he needed to do was win him over and manipulate him to his whims.  That was the easy part.  That was so easy for Domarus in fact that it was a piece of cake.  In fact it was second nature.  He had manipulated people so well in the real world they had turned from the rule-following-dog to his personal handy man doing his dirty work.  And he had dirty work for Arc to do once Arc was his.  For now however he needed to get a feel for this world.  He stopped when he spotted a pink haired girl picking dandelions.  Around her neck was...  A collar.  He grinned as he thought of someone owning her like he owns Keres, except he never held her on a leash.  She was bound to him through loyalty and nothing else.  Frustrated from the previous time he decided not to act all 'nicey nice' this time and just walked up as himself.  He didn't appear arrogant as that would never work until he reached a higher level.

"Hello there.  I see you have a collar so where's your master little girl?  Have you run away or is this your 'free time' hour?"

  5. Domarus walked through the enormous city with ease, parting the crowd just by appearing as a giant.  Being 6'6" helped in that aspect.  It also helped when Domarus was ready to manipulate others.  However he was nowhere near ready for the sort of work he had planned.  Before anything else he needed to befriend a few people.  He couldn't just go around bossing people around at level one now could he?  No.  They would either mock him or some higher player would come and show him his place.  He needed to become powerful, someone who couldn't be taken down easily.  He heard that the 'front liners' only accepted the best so he might be interested in starting there.  Once he was there he would hopefully have a devoted follower or two.  Arc definitely looked like a potential servant, or consistent mercenary at least.  He told Domarus how he was willing to do anything but murder players, unless the circumstances demanded it.  Therefore after becoming good friends with Arc, he might set up a special scenario where Arc would have no choice but to kill.  Not only that but he needed to manipulate the situation to soften Arc's feelings on killing.  After all being a pker Domarus would never gain trust of others, so he'd need someone else doing his dirty work.  One day however he wouldn't need to hide anymore and his two handed battle ax would be feared by all.  For now of course, he could do nothing until he gained a follower or two.  He had one when he entered the game of course.  She was possibly his only friend.  But she was separated from him and didn't find their meeting spot.  Frustrated with having to play nice to everyone around him he wished he could take it out on her but she wasn't around.  He was nearly going mad with having to bottle up his frustrations.  Still even with all of this annoyance with these crap players he kept the most gentle appearance he could and smiled and waved, even greeted players as they ran by.  Hopefully he'd be strong enough to leave this pitiful pit soon.  He didn't want to leave without finding Keres first though.

    @Morgenstern

  6. Domarus heard Arc answer his question and smiled, inward and outward.  This was perfect.  Simply perfect.  Not only would this player be willing to do most everything but he could in the future, manipulate a situation that would force the player to take a life.  Perhaps after that event he would change his mind, if he played his cards right.  Domarus wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty but he knew that the sort of reputation a red player received would greatly hinder his efforts, not to mention he was informed that red players couldn't go in towns.  That was a big drawback.  But if he found a powerful player like Arc to kill for him, he wouldn't have to worry.  He wouldn't have him kill everyone he disliked of course, he wasn't that cruel no.  Only those who were an immovable road block in his way.  Anyone else he needed to deal with he could always beat up whether in a duel or mentally.  Domarus was an expert in pain and all he really needed to do was learn more about them.  If he couldn't find Keres by then he'd need another servant to approach these players, befriend them, and tell him about their weaknesses and strengths.  Then all he had to do was exploit them.  Domarus nodded to Arc as he was told to step back.

"Ok.  I'll let you handle this thing"  He said.  He stepped back but kept his ax in his hand.  He watched the player miss as he did but mentioned how the boar was quick.  Did that mean all monsters could be this way?  If so, this world might actually be enjoyable.  Still he didn't want to miss his opponent consistently.  he wondered if there was some sort of enhancement items that could make his attacks more accurate.  He felt that it would be a sort of enchantment kind of thing but that would be magic.  And he was told that magic didn't exist in this game.  Originally he was upset about this but he quickly decided that it was less he had to worry about.  Magic always had interesting mechanics and the way most games designed it there could be more weaknesses than strengths.

OOC- Does my health regenerate while in a combat scenario or will it rise after you've killed it?

  7. Arc?  What an odd name.  But it wasn't a name, it was a username.  And for a username it was good.  He could almost feel the man gaze at him and sum him up.  Most people did that but he wondered what they thought and if they were making a mistake or were accurate about what they guessed.  Either way most people usually ended at the conclusion that he was just a friendly giant.  And he wanted it to stay that way.  The more people thought him friendly the deeper they'd sink into his grasp.  Still, it wasn't as if he didn't care about people entirely.  They had uses that he could exploit to his will.  Of course he'd care about that.

"Arc eh?  That's a pretty cool name.  Does it have a meaning or just to sound awesome" he finished with a grin.  He wished he could have scowled instead but that was the thing about his course.  He needed to take his time.  But he was patient.  He'd be more patient if he had Keres here of course.  He really needed to release some of this frustration.  He listened as the player said he was a mercenary.  This time his smile was genuine.  A mercenary.  Perfect.  He'd be the perfect ally as Domarus grew stronger and raised followers.  He hoped he was the mercenary most turned out to be where if they got paid they'd fulfill their role.

"A mercenary huh?  Are you one of those people who does anything for money?  Or are you the ones with their own code of honor?"  As they walked onto the fields for the first time he looked around and saw....  Boar.  Just nothing but boar.  What the [censored] was this?  Kayaba you chose boar as the weakest monster?  What a lack of imagination.  He mentally shook his head.

"Boar huh?  I don't know what I expected but I was thinking of something.  Well.  Not an animal.  Alright I'll get to work then."  It was the second time he drew the ax.  He felt the strength and power it gave him but it was also awkward.  He had never wielded anything before.  He walked up to the small boar.

"Sorry little guy, but I need the experience."  With no regret he swung the massive ax at the monster but it dodged his attack by jumping to the right.  What the-.  He watched as the monster was now irritated at him and rushed up, hitting him in the ankle.  He didn't know what to expect but he was surprised that no pain was received.  He now understood what the player meant however as his health dropped below half.  He was glad Arc was with him.

  8. Domarus nearly lost it and sighed but managed to hold it in.  What now? he thought.  He turned around to see the player that had called out to him.  He made his way easily through the crowd and as he did said that he wanted to see him fight.  Domarus knew immediately that this player wasn't talking about a duel as it was obvious Domarus hadn't started yet.  He mentally scoffed as he heard how he was picked out because he wasn't filled with dread.  Dread?  He thrived amongst people with dread.  Had he been a much stronger level with powerful equipment he would have no problem finding followers or servants in this pitiful town.  The only reason he didn't was because he needed to progress to the much less dangerous levels so he didn't have to worry about these pathetic pieces of crap that were so called players.  He looked down at the man and smiled.

"Well I haven't actually fought yet.  Hell I haven't even left the town gates yet.  But I'm glad I gave a good impression on you.  And I guess if you'd be willing to help me get on my feet I could try to impress you."

Tsk he thought.  I'll impress him alright.  I have a two handed war ax and I'm a giant to him.  Not only that but I'll finally be able to kill something.  At long last.  He began to continue to the gate, his massive size parting the crowd.  Even with his gentle expressions the players kept away from him.  Fear he thought, breathing in the thought like it was a long lost friend.  Fear was a powerful manipulation tool.  Fear, pleasure, contentment, protection.  All of these things could be used to manipulate.  And Domarus definitely knew how.  As someone who could manipulate both pathetic morons, and cautious, intelligent men.  The difference between the two was time.  No manner of weak bribes or words would win over someone smart enough to notice it.  he needed to gain their trust, their friendship, and slowly turn their point of view over to his.  If they showed signs that they wouldn't bend, he'd either leave them, kill them, or maybe, if they had benefits to provide, stay in friendship with them.  Just not as nice as he appears.  As they exited the gate he turned to Arc.  Better get started then he thought.

"My name's Domarus by the way.  What's yours?"

  9. Domarus walked through the town of beginnings, getting real sick of being around all these pathetic noobies.  He wasn't the most intelligent in this game of course, but these losers were still crying about that announcement Kayaba had given.  What a bunch of babies.  What made things worse was that his personal servant, Keres, had been separated from him.  Cursing mentally, he continued to walk down the streets.  There didn't seem to be any players who were confident enough, let alone help him get strong enough to train on his own.  And without Keres to vent upon he felt like he was going to explode.  All this happy and nice appearance he kept up at all times to befriend other players was making him want to vomit.  Still, he wouldn't get anyone if he didn't make quote unquote 'friends'.  Perhaps he could.  No, he would repeat his past and gain followers who would obey him.  When the time came of course.  One day he'd rule this digital world, with his own army of warriors.  Nobody would stand before him.  He would dominate, as his username was named after.  He mentally chuckled before scowling again as he waved and smiled to another young player.  This was getting tiring.  He decided that he'd go ahead and travel to another town to look for mediocre players.  He was getting nowhere in this pathetic place.

    @Arc

  10. Domarus walked along the streets of the town of beginnings.  He was almost done here, making his presence known.  It wasn't time yet though.  Not time to reveal his intentions.  For now he needed to set the foundation, to make a 'friend' or two.  It wasn't long before he had found his one and only friend from the real world here in the town but they were separated after the teleportation.  He had found her eventually but she was still lost for a while.  She had nothing to worry about so long as she was in the town of course.  And besides, any beating other players would do to her she would probably enjoy.  Still.  He hated the thought of anyone but himself hitting her.  He kept from letting his fist tighten as it would ruin his nice and gentle appearance.  He smiled and waved to an npc as he made his way to the city gates.  Unfortunately all the players here were wimps so if he was going to get some players to fight mobs with, he'd need to move somewhere else.  Figures that he'd be left with all the pathetic scrubs.  As he walked he couldn't help but notice the look a certain young player, perhaps six, seven years old, gave him.  A look of fear.  It was understandable that a confused child would be fearful of a six foot six man with a two handed battle ax, but that was what he desired.  When he heard about the death sentence he didn't cower or become afraid.  he grinned.  Pleased that fear could exist in the video game as well.  And fear was a very powerful manipulation tool.  However he was in no position to manipulate anyone until he had gained strength, and trust from other players.  As he closed in on the city gate he thought about his servant and wondered how she would fare in this game.

    <<Harken's History>>

Harken grew up in Hartford Connecticut, USA.  The house he lived in was fairly average and grew up with his father, an only child whose mother died in childbirth.  Growing up homeschooled without any information on his mother, save for what he could discover on his own, Harken spent most of his time with his father:  Richard Louis.  Richard wasn't a harsh man but he was a stranger to the words gentle and graceful.  He was a very blunt and narrow minded man who had drinking and smoking habits, though not in any severe or dangerous way.  He would normally work from early morning to evening and typically sit in front of the news with a beer.  Whenever he wasn't home he had a babysitter make sure nothing happened while Harken studied throughout the day.  Whenever Richard was home he would usually have Harken sit with him on the couch as he put on the news, clips, history channels, and many other ways in order to show all the carnage, chaos and sin that the world was drowning in.  This was Harken's Childhood.

However his entire life wasn't this dark.  His
babysitter was careful to do as his father instructed, but she did find loopholes such as helping him with his homework, showing and lending him something else to study, and simply spending time with him.  Over time she found ways to give advice on life, as well as suggestions and references in a way that kept it in the subject of schoolwork.  That way, when Harken was drilled by his father, it would seem as though she was doing nothing other than aiding Harken with his school work.  One day she spoke of video games in a way that made him very interested and so he asked his father if he could have a computer.  His father normally didn't buy anything save for occasionally, so he saved up a little more and found Harken something he could use for gaming.  The deal was that he did all of his homework first and Harken accepted.  This was his portal to the world of gaming.

Harken started to work around the neighborhood, earning scraps of money and slowly building it up in order to purchase games for his new computer as well as accessories such as a headset, gaming mouse, and other devices designed to make gaming easier.  He found what everything was for and how it operated and soon enough took his first dive into gaming.  He began with MMO's, messing around with things and found that he was able to detect the patterns and soon enough mastered the game relatively quickly.  Bored now with games that followed a strict pattern, he went to try role playing games.  He very much enjoyed the large variety but as he played he soon noticed how many of the players were cruel to others.  Harken's first attempt to make digital friends ended with his character getting slaughtered by bandits.  Furious, he was determined to turn the tides.

Everything that his father had been trying to teach him finally took root and hold.  However Harken's own thoughts and beliefs took form as well, adding to the corrupt world his father had formed in his mind.  Harken now understood that whoever was in charge, in control, and pulling the strings, was king no matter what anyone said.  There was no such thing as a council or board.  There was always the one with the most influence and power.  This 'king' made the laws, the rules, and had the final say in everything.  Depending on what kind of person ended up as this king determined the state of the world.  However it was usually the corrupt and cruel who ended up on top.  Harken thought long and hard before he made up his mind:  He was going to rule this world.  However everyone had to start somewhere.  Harken would start with gaming.  He messed with multiple ways in the role playing world to see what would work and what wouldn't, taking notes as he did so.  He had crossed out many hundreds of methods before he finally found one that worked:  His father's way.  He practiced for hours on end until he had finally begun mastering the ability to deceive others as well as manipulate them.  In the end his plan worked.  In game he had gained an entire kingdom and had a literal army at his beckoned call, as well as a content kingdom.  Out of character they all hated him and left for that reason but that didn't matter.

For this was only the rehearsal.

Soon enough he realized that he was ready to take his first steps into the world.  Even if he wasn't he needed to get experience as soon as he possibly could.  He spoke to his father about how he couldn't learn anything more in the books he was receiving and how he wished to try getting an idea of what the world was like by going to public school.  After a long discussion Richard agreed and Harken was on his way to high school.  On his first day there he spent time getting to know everyone, being the kind and nice boy he was.  That was how the rest of the school saw him at least.  In reality all he was doing was setting the foundation for his reputation down in stone, as well as analyzing the people in the school.  He identified the bullies, potential enemies, followers, allies.  Everything was going quite well to be honest.  During recess he managed to avoid the bullies as it was not yet time to deal with them but ran into someone else:  Her name was Raven.

Raven caught him while he was alone and told him that she could tell he was cruel.  The fact that someone was able to see through him on the first day scared him to death but over time he learned that it was only her.  She shared her story to him and gave the important details that led up to one interesting fact about her:  She enjoyed the sensation of pain.  Because she enjoyed it, the bullies didn't target her as much as other students.  She apparently came to Harken in order to ask him a favor.  When he heard her request to become his personal slave he refused almost immediately.  He shared with her his own plans and how this would make things difficult.  However she began to cry and begged him nonstop, crawling at his feet.  In the end he accepted to take her as a servant and nothing more.  After school they spent some time together deciding what to do and how it would be officially.  In the end things worked out since Harken had discovered growing up that he had anger issues and needed to let it out sometimes.  Raven would become his outlet.

With this recent dilemma out of the way, Harken returned to the process of dominating the school.  The next few days he would continue to make 'friends' through the school, Raven keeping her distance at first, as discussed beforehand, and he allowed the bullies to beat him up from time to time.  This had three main reasons:  The first was he wasn't going to escape it without drawing attention to himself.  He was the new student after all.  The second was he would make himself appear weak and give the bullies a false sense of strength.  The third was most important though:  Harken was using this event in order to become more resistant to pain.  The more he felt it the more he was able to tolerate it.  Eventually he would inflict new pains on himself when not at school, even cut himself from time to time until he was able to keep a solid straight face while doing it.  Soon enough he would stir up conversations with the people whom he could trust most, discussing the bullies.  Over time he won their trust as well as their loyalty.  It was finally time to take the next steps.

Harken found four individuals whom were loyal enough for him to trust.  He set up an event by letting loose a few rumors which he knew would attract the bullies.  One day during recess, when all of the teachers were having a meeting, the gang had pulled an innocent student the rumors were about away and began to beat her up.  That's when Harken had stood up to them.  The strongest of the gang struck Harken but was shocked to see absolutely no reaction from him.  A solid statue.  Unmoving.  Harken struck back but he didn't need to do anything else.  The four others had moved in and took over, following his instructions and easily taking them down.  Afterwards Harken went to the principle's office and informed him, as well as all of the other teachers in the room, about the incident, one of his followers and another person acting as the witnesses.  The bullies were removed and Domarus' reputation skyrocketed.  Ever since he held much influence and authority, but didn't abuse it.  If he did he would be the next target.

Over time he had cleared out high school and repeated the same basic strategy with collage, adjusting his plans where needed.  All in all it was a complete and total success.  During his collage years, which he cleared out swiftly with his hard studies, he had begun making plans in the long run for gaining complete control over America.  He only made the basic idea the foundation as much could change, but this would not.  After collage ended he found himself a job and shared an apartment with one of his followers.  He would remain here until he managed to get into the company he had targeted first.  His target was a small branch, not even the main part of it, but that only made it easier to get in.  And manipulate.  However he also needed to keep up his gaming life so when he heard about a virtual reality game system coming out in Japan, and seeing how huge it was, in order to keep up appearances he saved up enough to visit Japan and bought the game.  Little did he know that this trip would put all of his plans on hold.

    <<Name>>

Harken.  Upon hearing the name, some people tend to think of the word hark, which means listen.  However the actual definition and translation was far different.  The name Harken means dark red and the origin of this name is old English.  Normally he would think that his parents stumbled upon the name and decided to name him such, but at some point he came across information involving his mother and discovered that her ancestors were Irish.  When he confronted his father upon the matter and after much interrogation and arguments, he finally learned that his mother did indeed have Irish blood in her, and named him such as some sort of tradition.  Due to this reason Domarus has never changed his first name.

    <<Username>>

Domarus has sought domination over his enemies and has gone about it in many different ways.  Mainly by manipulation and deception.  He could manipulate in many different ways:  Speech craft, pleasing others, trades, occasionally instilling fear.  No matter what it would take Domarus would always end up gaining ground.  Most of what he learned all originated back when he played role playing video games.  Due to the world being virtual and fake, Domarus had no problem with testing out theories and practicing with them, as well as making mistakes that ended with his character being killed.  In the end however, he managed to accomplish one thing.  And that single success was what he decided to use as a username.  Domarus is another word for Domination.

    <<Dragon Tamer>>

Domarus had received this title after completing the <<feeding the enemy>> quest.  Out of all and any monsters to choose from and tame, turning them into his familiar, Domarus had chosen a dragon for specific reasons.  Dragons tend to be very strong and powerful.  While it was clear that Rhozarth wasn't the most agile, he was indeed strong.  Domarus actually fought the dragon before he managed to tame it.  While he doesn't actually use this title, and it isn't used by anyone else though known due to Rhozarth, he still possesses it.

Cautious:  Domarus isn't an idiot on any level.  He knows how corrupt and cruel the world is and thus keeps an eye out for anything that might be a threat.  The reason he is cautious and not paranoid, is because he is calm and collect about it, knowing the dangers but not letting them scare him.  Before entering a situation he does his best to know what's going on and intends to prepare for anything.  Due to him being cautious he tends to gather safeguards and allies before doing anything that might end his life.

Intelligent:  Domarus was a quick and passionate study, looking into things that he knew he would need and even into areas he might not.  If it turned out the information would be useless to him he would abandon it and spend his time somewhere worthwhile.  Through most of his childhood he was self taught.  His babysitter might have aided him, but it was Domarus who gathered hoards of books to research and study.  During high school and Collage Domarus questioned much of his teachers and ended up impressing them all with his intellect.

Clever  :  Domarus is very intelligent and always has a plan for things.  He even prepares backup plans in case they fail.  When things don't seem to go his way Domarus always has a way out.  When in combat he can usually figure out what his opponent is planning and come up with a decent comeback.  His plans are prepared before hand, both long term and short term.  While he may start out with a few short term, he quickly plans out the micro details of what might happen so that he is never caught by surprised.

Unbothered  :  Domarus is a master of masks, but one thing that isn't a mask is the appearance that he doesn't care what others think about him.  They can call him trash, evil, cruel, unrelenting.  Some of these he takes as a compliment even.  So long as he ends up on top he could care less.  Without caring about others opinions from the start anyways their insults and taunts only tell him that he had received enemies, which told him he was making progress.  You could not rise without gaining haters.

Manipulative  :  Domarus is a master of manipulation and uses it for both good and bad.  Domarus can convince most anyone to do anything for him, but he doesn't do anything hastily or drastic.  He slowly befriends them before asking for favors.  As he gains their trust and confidence he persuades them to help him out with projects or quests.  When he has fully converted someone into his follower he feels the power and authority to have them do anything for him should he ever need it.  Otherwise they get protection and he gets their loyalty.

    Spoiler

Cruel/Punishing  :  Domarus does not accept failure.  If someone does not comply to his wishes he will take it out on someone, anyone really.  Usually to the person responsible unless he wants to win them over.  In battle he seeks every way to exploit his foe, every way to injure or maim them whether physically or mentally.  In either way he knows how to make strikes or punishments that force his victims to think they're about to be harmed unless they've either become immune to pain in the real world or know they have nothing to fear.  However he is able to vent his frustrations on Keres in secret, and when he fights mobs, therefore making it easier to keep his nice appearance up.

Selfish  :  In the end there's only one person Domarus actually cares about.  And that's himself.  He could truly care less about the misery others go through, as well as the deaths going on in the world.  If they got themselves killed it was their own fault and no one else's.  Thus, he will only do something if there is something in it for Domarus.  Typically this will be related to him rising in power.  Thus if he'll gain experience points, a player's debt or other things of the sort he'll aid them.  Otherwise there's only one question that determines whether he'll aid you or leave you in the dust:  Does my reputation matter in regards to this player?

Boring  :  Domarus is so focused on his on personal goals and obtaining knowledge and strength, that he doesn't know how to have real fun like others.  When they went out to get a drink, Domarus would fake getting drunk in order to obtain information out of the others.  While most of his classmates chased after women Domarus didn't think once of getting a girlfriend.  The only 'entertainment' Domarus ever had was with video games, and even then he mainly focused on role playing games where he could dominate over and over again, satisfaction of ultimate victory being what he sought for.

Vicious  :  When Domarus fights he doesn't like to hold back.  He uses combat as another way to get his frustrations out.  While he does his best to make it appear as though he enjoys combat, if he's frustrated or angry enough, and while he's wearing his hopebreaker set, he could very much look like a demon unleashed.  He revels in the sheer power this game gives him over opponents and seeks every opportunity to take advantage of this ability as well as increase it's potency.

Venting  :  Domarus is a master of deception and manipulation, that much has been made clear time and time again.  However there is one detail that many, including his allies, don't really know about.  Being surrounded by stupidity or having multiple plans and events go wrong for him, individuals rebelling, the list goes on, builds up as frustration within him.  Domarus becomes more and more violent and cruel unless he is able to vent out his frustrations.  This is usually on others.  Before meeting Raven, he would release his frustrations by brawling others, and he always won.

    Spoiler

Rhozarth is Domarus' familiar.  Just under the size of a large dog, Rhozarth is a fire dragon in every aspect.  He is extremely heavy due to the weight of his three layers of scales, horns, and occasionally Rhozarth will wear a black iron, skeleton armor over his scales.  Rhozarth is consistently ablaze as his fires never go out.  Rhozarth's eyes are fierce and calculative, analyzing everything at a small or large scale, depending on the situation.  This was why he was named as such.  Rhozarth Domarus noted, had a good eye for players who had the potential as strong followers, as well as players they should avoid manipulating.  Rhozarth's name had started out as Rhizolith.  Rhizolith was essentially the root system of plants.  Roots sought out nutrients to keep the plant alive, and in order for Domarus' organization to thrive he needed followers.  All he did was mess around with the word until he came up with something more interesting as a name, as well as to keep Rhozarth's true purpose hidden.
