  1. Zulas eyes turned towards the direction she pointed at, "Ah, yes. His name is Raze. We've partied up a couple of times. He's the only player I've done that with actually." Zulas didn't know why said that. He didn't know Ivory, not as well as he did Raze so he didn't now why he said it. He had gone on a few quests with the player and they had developed a certain partnership when it came to the game. Even so, it was still hard in this game for Zulas to make actual friends because he didn't know when one day would be the last. He didn't want to go through what he had already experienced once.

He composed himself quickly and waved over to @Raze, "Hey Raze, come over here." Zulas waited for the man to come over, and directed his next comment to @Ivory Lotus. "He's a good guy. He doesn't talk much, though." - he smiled at Ivory. He knew that Raze had a difficult past same as him, but if being around people is helping Zulas then it should also work for him too.

  2. Zulas noticed the woman looking at him and her eyes trailing something to the ground. She spoke, but her voice was soft and Zulas guessed that he was making her uncomfortable, so he responded, "Yes, I apologize. You just reminded me of someone. Someone I knew a long time ago." - he said truthfully. He hoped that with this, she wouldn't look at him like he was broken. In reality, he was broken, but not in ways that he could be fixed, at least not right now.

The young man squeezed her hand and replied with a smile, "Nice to meet you, Lessa."

The young man was very curious of his newfound acquaintance because he hadn't met a lot of people since being inside of this game. He knew that people had their stories and it was bad manners to ask somebody of their life before the game. So, he set out to have a casual conversation that didn't involve anything of that sort. He kept looking at her and took back his hand, "Lessa, you seem kind of strong. Do you battle on the Frontlines?" - he asked curiously.

  3. Zulas did nothing to hurt that rock, it actually seemed to be the other way around. The rock seemed to be made out of steel instead of actual earth. It was weird to him that this boulder was not an Immortal Object. The way that nothing actually damaged it seemed like enough reason for it to be Immortal. Zulas walked around the boulder looking for a soft spot that it could possibly have, but he wasn't finding any. After a couple of minutes doing a full circle he just decided to try his luck and try to hit it will all his might. He tried out a couple of punches first until he decided to put everything he had on one of last flurry of blows.

His hits didn't even make the boulder budge one inch. He felt nothing, but he knew that he couldn't give up. This extra skill was going to help him with his overall goal.

  4. The rock seemed to be a lot tougher than it looked. Zulas was realized that this was going to be harder and longer than he thought. Those were the thoughts that clouded his judgement as he got ready for another strike at the boulder. He pulled his fists back to gain a bit of momentum and swung his fist as hard as he could at the target, hoping that it would find its mark this time.

Zulas's attack didn't have any effect again, which made him start to get frustrated. The idea of him feeling powerless against an object such as this made a bit angry but he couldn't give up. He knew that the skill he would gain from this quest would help achieve his ultimate goal of making it to the Frontlines. With this in mind, it was the motivation that he needed in order to keep going and try to complete this quest.

  5. Zulas was very eager and it cost him. His fist hit the boulder and it was actually harder than he thought it would be. His hand hurt for all of 2 seconds, but it stung hard. He took a deep breath to calm himself and readied his fist again. His hand flew towards the rock and hoped that it would do something this time.

Again, his fist connected against the rock but nothing happened. His hand stung once more, but it did not make a ding in the rock. It seemed to not have even phased it. The rock just stood there in front of him, taunting him. He knew that he would have to break it in order to get the extra skill. He positioned himself in front of the boulder again, ready to strike it down. He shook any negative thoughts that he had and proceeded to try and hit the rock one more time.

  6. The man led Zulas to the back of the hut that the NPC called home. Behind it was a huge rock that stood stall well above Zulas, and it seemed imposing for some reason. The man stopped in front of the rock and turned towards Zulas. "Come, young one." - said the man to Zulas.

Zulas obliged the man and moved forward. When he did, the man quickly moved his hands, too fast for Zulas to follow them. He felt something on his face but didn't know what it was. Then the man spoke once more, "Split this rock in two, and the power you seek shall be granted." - said the man.

He waited for a second, and Zulas was looking for his sword in his inventory to equip it, but the robed man put his hand up. "You must do so with only your fists." - he said with a smile. "Only then, will you be worthy of the knowledge."

This was the time that Zulas opened his mouth in bewilderment, but knew that he was right. Using a weapon would've been too easyhe thought to himself. "Alright then, bring it on." - Zulas finally said when the man stepped to the side to let him begin. This was the sign that Zulas needed and began by hitting the boulder square in the center.

  7. The trip was long and arduous but Zulas kept going. There had been a rumor around town that there was a Martial Artist Master that could teach players about an extra skill. It seemed very interesting to say the least, reason as to why Zulas decided to venture into the southern edge of the map. He arrived at the base of a mountain, which seemed to have a trail that led up to the summit. He began to walk up the steps of the trail, and after what seemed like an endless journey, he managed to arrive at the summit albeit gasping for breath.

A man stood in front of him, wearing nothing but a robe around him. The man smiled down at Zulas as the swordsman knelt to find his breath and take a break. "You, adventurer, who have come here in search of knowledge. Do you know what it is that you seek?" - said the man, still smiling at Zulas.

Zulas took a couple of seconds to form his words. "I-I want to get stronger." - he managed to say to the man.

"Ok, then. Let's begin." - he said and a window appeared in front of Zulas. "Break the Unbreakable Quest? Accept Y/N?" said the screen and Zulas pressed 'Yes' without a second thought.

  8. Zulas knew that he wanted to be in the Frontlines eventually, but knew that that was still a long way to go. He looked at her a bit differently now, she was going to be at the place where he wanted to go. "Yes, I want to eventually go to the Frontlines." - he confessed to @Ivory Lotus but he knew the truth.

The young man realized what he had said and quickly composed himself, "Nice to meet you, Ivory." The words that she had spoken rang true in Zulas's ears, he needed both experience and equipment in order to make it against those bosses. He knew that he would eventually make it, but not today. This time he hoped that he would meet some of the people that battle the floor bosses and learn something from them. At least enough for him to make it there eventually.

He looked around at the people that had gathered and noticed that he hadn't said anything in a few seconds. She kept staring at him, and it made him blush a bit so he averted her gaze and looked out at the fields. "So... do you know everyone here?" - he asked her.

  9. Zulas actually couldn't hold back a small laugh. It had been a long time since somebody made him laugh like that. "Yes, you shouldn't have skipped it." - he said jokingly. "But it doesn't matter, it's better that you learn by doing.", he explained to her. "Row, then? Sounds good. Nice to meet you." - he said with a smile

Zulas stared back at her and looked deep into her eyes, and he noticed that they were full of wonder and excitement. I had that same look once, a long time. He smiled back at her and asked her, "So, Row, where are you running off to?".

He looked around but nobody was looking at them, so it seemed that it was completely normal that people bumped into each other in the middle of the street. He turned his attention back to the young girl, intrigued on hearing her answer, if she gave one at all. It seems that this girl was a mystery to him, just like all the others in this game. Well, not all.

  10. "The name's Zulas." - he said after the girl blurted out all those words. He couldn't help but smile at the girl as she looked embarrassed for a second. He saw her step back quickly after staring at him for a couple of seconds. He admitted to himself that he was a bit embarrassed by her stare, as nobody had looked at him like that.

"Don't worry, it's fine." - he told her. The question took him by surprise, 'to make exp'. He hadn't met someone yet who was very direct like that, so it was a bit of funny to him. He managed a small chuckle, "Sure, why not?"

He looked at her clothes and made a slight frown, "Are you sure you'll be ok with that?" - he asked the girl. The breasplate indeed seemed a bit too small for her size, but he didn't insinuated anything of the sort. "It's just that you might be hindered when you head into battle." - he said with a smile.

"If you're not, then by all means." - he said as he extended his hand towards the girl, offering a handshake.

  11. "Thank you." - he said to the young woman. He continued to search and after he was satisfied, stood up to face her.

The young man extended his hand towards her after a few seconds. "Sorry not to have done this earlier... Name's Zulas. Nice to meet you." - he said with a smile. This time he looked in detail at the woman in front of him. She was certainly beautiful, and caring, because not any player would offer to help a stranger that they just met. Just like her, he thought instinctively. He shook his head slightly to get rid of those thoughts, he didn't want to think about her right now. It had been a long time ago, and she was already gone. Then as he stood with his hand out towards the young woman, he felt a tiny teardrop fall down his cheek, and he cursed the game for making his feelings show like that.

  12. It had been a while that passed and more people came to the area where the message advertised. Zulas didn't know many people here, he had only seen them walking around town but had never interacted with them. There was only one other player that he had joined with in the past and that was Raze. He searched for him through the group of people but he couldn't see him anywhere. Maybe he wasn't coming, he thought.

Zulas then remembered that he had him as a contact so he opened the menu and proceeded to write him a message. "Raze, uh... this is Zulas. I'm over at the fields outside of the Town of Beginnings. I.. don't know any of the people here. So.. I was thinking that maybe you would come if you weren't too busy." He didn't know if Raze would answer his message or even come, but he had done all he could. He quickly shut off the message window and looked over to a another player that was coming towards him.

Zulas looked up at the woman who had approached him and gave half a smile. "Hi... name's Zulas." - he said to the woman. He stood up and hesitantly extended his hand towards her. Well, let's see if we can do something about my situation.

"Are you part of the Frontlines group?"- was all that came out of his mouth at that moment.

    @Ivory Lotus

    @Raze

  13. Zulas had spent much of his time in the first floor. He had only been up to only a couple of floors. He wanted to eventually make it to the Frontlines, but he knew that he still had a long way to go. Also, if he did eventually was going to make it he knew that meeting some of the players on the Frontlines was an eventuality. He saw the message for an open event where a lot of players will go. It seemed to him a really good place to run into those players, and hopefully see what it was that made them Frontlines material.

The young swordsman walked a little bit outside the city to find the place where the event was supposed to be held at. He found some players walking around and talking, but he leaned against a nearby tree and slumped down. He deduced that more would arrive eventually, so he sat quietly and watched the other players milling about.

  14. Zulas walked inside the shop. It seems that it was familiar to him somehow. That's when he saw the signed next to the counter that said the shop was moved. It was the same owner as the previous store he had visited, but this place seemed bigger. He looked around at the displayed armors hanging on walls and shields propped up against stands. He didn't see any weapons, but he didn't need to get one like the last he was there. This time, Zulas was looking to have a piece of armor made, it was about time for him to upgrade from his starter clothes. He had already obtained the weapon that he wanted, so he just needed a piece of armor that went along with it.

He found the order form that was on top of the sales counter, and proceeded to fill it out. He filled it out with the specifications that he wanted and left it inside of a envelope. After he had decided what he wanted and filled out the form, he thought about it once more. The paper in his hands felt heavy, as he debated with the decision, and then he finally made the choice. He crumpled the piece of paper, and threw it away.

"There will be time for this another day." - he finally said before heading out the door.

  15. @Letty

Both Zulas and the girl standing next to him were out of breath. He had decided to intervene due to a powerful monster appearing out of nowhere and attacking them out while they were training. The girl was still dealing with her own monster, a small boar that kept attacking her incessantly but she managed to hold her own. The one in front of Zulas was different story, a bigger boar with tusks that were about 2 feet long. Thankfully, the monster was slow, so Zulas was able to dodge its attacks for now. He kept glancing back at the girl that called herself Letty, a curved sword at her side. He saw how the boar ran towards her but she managed to deflect it away, it told Zulas that she might make it far into upper floors and one might actually be part of the Frontlines. Zulas turned his attention back to the foe in front of him. The boar began his charge towards Zulas, who readied himself in a stance which let him activate his Sword Art. While he did this, he thought back to the time that they met, a strange situation inside Starting City.

It was a clear day, one where the sun was high in the sky and Zulas was admiring the slight warmth it provided. The wind whisked briefly through the air and slightly brushed his skin, giving him a tingling sensation. He hadn't paid attention to the street as he kept walking until he bumped into someone. Both of them fell backward but Zulas stood up quickly, looking for the person he had stumbled with. It was small girl wearing a breastplate that seemed a bit big for her, but in this game looks didn't really matter as long as whatever you had kept you safe.

"I'm sorry. Are you ok?" - he asked the girl.

  16. Zulas looked at the girl who responded back to him. "You shouldn't be running like that. Somebody could get hurt." - he managed to say.

The purple/white hair of the girl fluttered around her body. There was an aura of eagerness about her, like she would probably leave him in the dust if he tried to follow her. "The name's Zulas." - he said extending his hand towards the girl. It's been a while since he had met someone in this place, much less a friend. There's only one that would consider himself friends with, but Zulas doesn't know if that person considers him a friend back.

The swordsman looked at the girl expectantly, waiting to see her reaction towards his extended hand. It was a this time that Zulas noticed the armor the girl was wearing, he thought they seem a bit big for her. It looked like she was wearing clothes that were twice her size and it made her look a bit comical, although Zulas avoided saying this out loud. All he could manage was a simple smile.

  17. The streets of Starting City were filled with players as well as NPCs. People were milling about their business and Zulas was standing in front of a store. He was debating whether to go in or not. The displays were very tempting clothes of fine colors and threads. He looked inside through the store's window pane in order to get a better look at the merchandise. After a while he finally made up his mind to go in, but something in the corner of his caught his attention. A flash of purple hair caught his attention as it headed in his direction and he moved out of the way before the girl possessing it ran into him.

"Whoah!" - he exclaimed avoiding the collision with the oncoming girl. He kept looking at girl, even as soon as she was past him and out the front gate of the city towards the wilderness. He had never seen the girl before, but that was normal for him. He hadn't met a lot of people, but he thought there was something about the girl that just past him.

Zulas thought about it once more and then decided to follow the girl, the hurried nature of the girl seemed a bit off to him. Also, if she was knew to the game, he didn't want her to die because of a stupid mistake like taking on more than one monster by herself.
