  1. The demon wolf dashed towards Calrex slamming into him with all its might. It was too late to notice the combo attack between the blue samurai and the dark clad maiden that put an end to its existence. As its HP bar started depleting, it clawed and howled  with all its might, trying to resist its end or at least take somebody with it. Its efforts were however futile as the system, after registering the last attack that brought its health to 0 or below, rendered the wolf powerless. It started robbing away its pixelated eye covered body; starting from its extremities up to its belly, blasting into a shower of multicolored snow like polygons at the end. Through that, its existence erased from the 'physical world' of the players and stored into the Cardinal's log as mere data. Then a system announcement appeared in front of all players, showing them their heard earned rewards, one of them had an extra item wit her list. A small door-size lump of stone collapsed somewhere behind where the wolf once stood, revealing the staircase towards the 19th floor.

  2. Malethis howled in anger as it was struck by three of the players from the third group of them, while the others either threw torches into his pools or just stood. The creature howled once more and healed from the corrosive pools around it, and recieved some health from the player that had attacked him, the one that had angered him the most out of that group. Staring it with all it's eyes, it charged forward, hitting the player with a strong swipe of it's paw, bringing the player's health down more than it was previously. The wolf seemed to snicker as it returned to it's home, surrounded by the remaining pools that gave him the health that it needed.

    Malethis knew that it's time would be short, so it needed to be on it's guard as well as it could. Opening what eyes were left that were not stabbed or sliced by the players on all of it's sides. These players had invaded it's home, and it wanted revenge. So as it awaited for the other players, it prepared to strike whichever player was within the next group. The Alpha, the Blue-colored player of the next group, seemed to gain all of it's attention, and it knew that he would be it's next target.

  3. As it charged towards, its eyes caught sight of the blonde coming to ambush it. A small grin formed on its expression as it tried to evade her but to no avail as she rained her massive spear on its back, slowing its advanced considerably along with the white clad warrior that attacked it from the side. their combined attack managed to deplete its HP bar by a bit but the proud wolf didn't surrender. It still pushed on towards its intended target and released a couple of slashes with its claws. The first hit meed the man's kite shield but the second one managed to partially slip pass his defenses and damage him. It was not the result the All Seeing had hoped for but as it was almost surrounded by this team's members, it decided to 'tactically' retreat and head towards the remaining players. its eyes were trained on @Takao who had the audacity to challenge it with his bare fists. With its jaws wide open it dashed towards the Scout.

  4. Bearing its fangs midway at the player who decided to defy it, Malethis when for a bite out of his side. Its efforts useless as its venom coated teeth did not pierce through the man's armor, as if stopped by a invisible omnipotent force. Its eyes were searching for another weak spot where it could bite at but found none at the moment; still the wolf didn't get discouraged and spun around, hitting the player with its tail, sending him flying back.

    With him out of the way it focused on the people who did the most damage to it. The system activated the latent ability that it had and the monster gained unworldly speed at it first went to the 2 handed straight sword wielder that didn't make a move against it this time, out of fear perhaps. But that kind of attitude only motivated the beast to attack him first as it lunged at him. His efforts were thwarted by the same, apparently omnipotent force that it meet previously.

    The wolf yet again didn't get discouraged and knocked the man to the side with its head, next eyeing the blue clad samurai. This time instead of biting, it went for a swipe with its venom coated claws. It felt no tear as the sharp ends merely slid on top of the man's chest without tearing not even his outfit. For the time it would not attacked the woman who just appeared from the shadows and make a retreat from this group; it set its sights on the white and red clad man from before. When it attacked him, he was protected by the same force as these three... will he be more vulnerable now?

  5. While the most members of the rest of the teams seemed to responde to the wolf's taunt, the last group it attacked had only one player that took it head on... quite literally. Thus the wolf had been stopped from its rampage among the raiding party. Shaking its head a couple of times and then blinking another couple of times with all the eyes that were attacked to its body and mane; the demon wolf let out a large howl right in Takao's face as he had the nerve to go against it barehanded. Again, the forest beast ignored the players that were busy extinguishing the corrosive pools that formed from its excretions over time, as it waited for someone worthy to attack it. Then this lot tried its chances against it.

    Its eyes, once the wolf stood firm again on its feet, focused on the green clothed player in front. The the wolf repeated the move it used against the shield clad player before. But now, its opponent was foolish enough to go unarmed against it so with viciousness, its claws swiped against Takao's pixelated left side's flesh, sending him to the side with a loud 'thud' after several slashing noises. Pleased itself with the result, the wolf directed its eyes towards the first group that it attacked. now it was their turn. It dashed towards them with the intention of ramming against the blue clad player that caught his attention.

  6. Malethis' vicious charge was meet head on by a blonde from the targeted group. As her long spear pieced the great wolf's eye covered body, its advance had slow down as it received a considerable amount of damage. As the demon-like animal was preparing to lash at her and pay her in kind, another attacked came by the hands of a dark clad axe wielder. This attack dropped the beast's hp further more making the wolf release a terrible howl that seemed to shake the all of the dimly lit cavern, the current stage for the battle between man and beast. This howl was meet with a similar sound, almost equal in intensity, which came from a white and red man who taunted the wolf by hitting its shield and sword together. Being driven by a urge to end that man's existence and apparently forgetting about the previous two who damaged it, the wolf pounced at Heathcliff with its jaws wide open; ready to take a large bite out of him. As it was fully focused on the party tank, Malethis didn't notice as a member of the party has thrown a torch into one of the pools resulted from the secretion of its almost all-seeing eyes.

    The wolf's attack had connected to the tank's kite shield, sending pixelated sparks all around them as its biting attempt failed. It tried to swipe at the man with its right claw from the side but its efforts were futile against his defenses. Raising its head towards the ceiling, the wolf once again let out a howl and with a last look at the man who defied it, changed direction and started charging towards the remaining group of players. Surely they will prove a easier pray than him.

  7. Green slime dribbled from the flapping lids of the beast. Crimson ringed eyes soaking in everything around it. Malethis' lunge was met with the blade of a petite red head. Her attack proving to be nothing more than a bluff as the sticky pelt of the wolf sprayed more acid, causing her to jump back apprehensively. Snarling, Malethis snapped at the girl, his attention drawn to the delicate rose he was to devour should she inch any closer. As he backed and fumbled through one of the corrosive pools staining the room, the boss's attention was drawn to the deafening screech a certain blue haired lad emitted.

    Turning his sights to the tanking figure Malethis prepared to strike, only this time his claw was met by several blows from a blonde haired player. Crimson gashes enveloped the wolf. Cutting through it's health with every strike and swipe. Snapping at the player, a sudden jolt shot through the beast. This inexplicable feeling of loss of motion caused the creature to tumbled forward, pinning it in place as he was now rendered immobile.

    With the opening available, the next player in the first party, a samurai of sorts, rushed in. Imitating the blonde's attacks but in a more forceful way. Slime and and muffled yelps decorated the area surrounding Malethis as the as the brunette dropped back.

    Having remembered seeing six players total at first, the confused monster frantically searched for the two that had seemingly disappeared from view. Rising to his feet as the paralysis wore off, Malethis roared out once more, this time raising his head to the artificial moon as the pools around him glowed and his health restored to nearly full once more.

    A seemingly wicked grin extended from his maw, causing more slime to paint the floors as he wildly awaited the on-comers. Eyeing all those in attendance, Malethis once again charged forward, this time targeting the second group hidden amongst the first.

  8. @Jomei @Xion Since your posts were not edited by the allotted time (an extra day was given), participation in this raid is prohibited.

    Players clamored atop the step leading up to the boss room. Several words were spat, yet none explicitly detailed the strategy the frontliners planned to use for this raid. However their time for talks would soon be silenced as the doors to the room subsequently shut as the last torch burned blue.

    Artificial light tore through the ceiling of the room. Illuminating bubbling pools of acidic slime and revealing the near limitless amount of torches lining the circular room. One thing stood out from the rest and not one, but several pairs of eyes blinked attached to it. With a single howl, Malethis caused the room to shake. Several HP bars flickering into view as players focused on the enormous beast. Drool dripped and whipped about as Malethis stared at the groups before him, what appeared to be a wicked grin split across his maw as he rose to full stature and caused the flames to burn even brighter.

    Howling out, the room shook before settling to silence. With a demonic grin, Malethis shot forward. The raid had begun.

  9. Wooden doors loomed from atop the mountain the cave was perched upon. Ominous fog settling into the foreground as one ascended the steps of the labyrinth. Chilly winds whipped every so often, reminding players this wasn't the place to be if you weren't prepared for death. Thudded steps would echo with each pair of boots that climbed the crooked stone steps, continuously reverberating until the entire raid party rested upon the crest. As those who needed last minute changes prepared, the enormous oak doors would eerily swing open. Groaning until they stopped with a sudden thud as they latched into place. Upon entering, a dimly lit cavern awaited them. Within moments, several torches lit up; lining the walls of the room and allowing those within to see several pools of green liquid splattered about. With further inspection, one would notice the ceiling of the cave opened ever so slightly to reveal what seemed to be an artificial moon above.

    Snarling from the depths of the cavern, a wispy necro-colored over-sized wolf paced into view. What appeared to be poisonous liquid, could be seen secreting from various orifices; most of them being one of many eyes layering the creature’s body. Vicious fangs protrude from his massive maw, as acidic saliva dripped and pooled beneath him. With five enormous health bars hovering overhead, Malethis the All-Seeing made its appearance.

    While players soaked in the sight, slowly but surely each torch's flame burned from red to blue; and once the last torch changed colors, the floor eighteen boss fight would commence.

    All players have 72 hours to reply to this thread to be included in the boss fight. After 72 hours, the boss raid will begin.

    All participants must list their stats, equipment, battle-ready inventory, skills, buffs, and consumed items in their post.

    Any participating members belonging to a guild that hosted their own meeting, within their own meeting hall, receive immunity to corrosive effects (Corrosive Safeguard) for 1 turn.
