  1. The two seemed to be on the same mental wavelength, not that a computer could have that. But the opponents move at the same time, running towards each other, grazing each other with their attacks. Atzo with his sword and the boar with its tusks. The difference was that The boar looked like it would die the next hit Atzo made even if it wasn’t his normal hitting standard. “One more Atzo, Just one more. That's all you need” he told himself as he stood there observing the animal. It seemed to be in pain and was ready for the next attack. Atzo began to worry that he would be able to block it though he had a small hunch it would be less powerful than it seemed though one could never be too safe. What would he do when this was over? Probably attempt to find that blacksmith and get it over with, He knew that he should have done it sooner.

  2. “I agree” Atzo said as he walked alongside vale. After the kid responded Atzo looked at him more closely. “Are you sure you are okay?” His voice smoothed out, and his expression became that of someone who was caring and genuine. “You seemed pretty upset. Is there anything we can do to help?” Atzo was unsure that if there was a response that He or Vale could actually do anything but it didn't hurt to try. “I am Atzo” he said as he waited for the kid to respond. Looking around he saw that the area was void of people other than them. This was good, seeing that people were less likely to open up when there was a barrage of people there to force it. Smiling he looked to Vale “I will let her introduce herself, seeing as I do not think I could give her justice with an introduction myself.”

  3. While they walked, Atzo never seemed to look directly at Vale, his eyes were always sort of fixed on some kind of non-existent point though he nodded as though he was listening. “I agree that it would be smart of us to trade of the information” he said in response. Even though he didn't seem to, he had full observation of his surrounding. He never ran into anything. “I assume you want the truth in this regard so I shall be truthful. I have never experienced an emotion of my own. Some would call me a mirror, I say I’m ever changing emotional clay. I don't truly understand most emotions that people have. I am known, however to be a very good leader, a smooth talker, and a complete sociopath, You can see me however you want.” as he talked he speed his pace to be along side vale. It made it easier for him to hear her that way.

  4. Atzo noticed and understood Shields reluctance to answer. “You are correct, we do barely know each other. So, now that we have the chance, how about we fix that?” Atzo continued along in his relaxed strides “I will go first. I tend to manipulate people, I know that, most people know that, I am not ashamed of it. Though I also know that I won't manipulate people who I trust or see fit for my benefit. So far you haven't killed me, and you seem to have access to a vast amount of useful knowledge that I could only dream about accessing.” Atzo Sighed “I understand if knowing that makes you more skeptical to trust me, it has driven everyone else away that I ever knew. Well, all but Ren. Regardless, I will continue with who I am. I have a very challenging time feeling true emotion, as you may have noticed on the battlefield, I am very analytical, almost to the point of insanity. I love to help others after they show me they are worth my help.” Atzo paused as he thought for a moment “When I show my emotions, It is more like I am a lump of clay that is being molded to the situation at hand. I don’t feel like I have ever had any emotion that was my own, I always just go off of how others feel or I will attempt to be the opposite if I am trying to cheer someone up.” Atzo looked to the sky. “So there you go, that is who I am.”

  5. Atzo watched as Shield once again showed an affinity to tending to children. It was nice to see the kindness Shield shown. “I must ask Shield, how did you come to be so good with kids?” Atzo wore a non-condescending smirk. His voice was that of genuine intrigue. He had been watching the man tend to this child as if it were his or a close friends. “It is curious how we he does” Atzo Though “I wonder if he had a kid in the real world, or worse, lost a kid I could not tell for sure but I know that it is entirely possible that he hold that guilt with him and see this as a way to monitor and subdue the guilt for the time being.” Looking up a the stars he started to trace a few know constellations that the developer included in the night's sky.

  6. Atzo Watched as the boar reared up, he hoped that he could finish it soon. Little did he know this was just the beginning. Attempting to end the fight Atzo moved to a less stable footing and went to attack. As he did this it seems that he had broadcasted his movements too much. The boar took the opportunity as soon as it opened. The next thing Atzo knew he was on the ground with the boar running over him and past him, his health bar dropped. Quickly he jumped to his feet and re-adjusted his positioning, he didn't want to give the boar another hit like that. Not to mention that he had things in his inventory that he needed to deliver and hold onto. He debated regaining energy but decided against it, It didn't seem worth wasting an opportunity while he could just kill it now hopefully it wouldn’t bite him in the butt.

  7. Atzo Felt the familiar strength that the sword arts gave him and was ready to use it to his advantage. Using what he could observe from the Boar’s movements he was able to pinpoint a potential weak point in its hide. Using this exploit he dove his sword deep into it intestins. The boar reared and gave a disturbing yell as it attempted to repay the favor. Luckily Atzo was able to take into account the injury in while attempting to dodge the boars attack, gracefully sidestepping at the last second. Once the boar had speed past him, Atzo whipped around and was once again facing the entity. Looking it dead in the eyes attempting to instil some sort of primal dominance over it, He knew it was pointless but he still wanted to try, “This shouldn't take long, I think I will stick to attacking normally for now however instead of trying to recharge.”

  8. “On second thought” he said to himself “I think I will quickly find something to fight, though I hope it will be something small” he proceeded to walk to the woods and looked around. There seemed to be something in the nearby woods that would be suitable. A small boar stood eating grass, he walked up behind it and attempted to strike. As Atzo approached he failed to notice the tree beside him. He drew his sword and proceeded  to get it stuck in said tree. He frantically tried to get it out and luckily he had made enough noise to startle the Boar. It didn't seem to know if it should attack or fun and froze where it was. Finally being able to pull his sword from the tree Atzo prepared himself to use his sword art. He hoped it would work and he could analyze the field better but he made not hard assumptions in that aspect.

  9. Atzo had been approached by a npc about Professions. Apparently it was a quest so he had no choice but to accept. Upon accepting he made his way to the edge of the town of beginnings. “Perhaps if I find some materials now it will ease my struggles in the future.” He said to himself out loud. He imagined that it would be interesting to learn how to cook in the game and it seemed the the skill most suited for him based on what he had done in the past. Atzo had always excelled at two things. Creating poisons and Creating food, Low and behold these two thing go together rather well. Because of that he knew that if he had to choose one he would do cooking. Though he was unsure as to how well it would go. “I hope that cooking is as simple as it is in the real world” he spoke aloud to himself “Though I have no such high hopes that it is to be the case”

  10. The heavy hearted story that Vale spun would have been enough to depress the average man. Unfortunately Atzo wasn’t like that, most of his feelings were fabricated, and he tended to act as a mirror or a chunk of clay that is molded to the situation at hand. “I am sorry to hear that” he said, his voice still with a small about of joy present “I assume that it is my turn now, huh?” he too a deep breath before beginning. “My family was… well, interesting. My father was very stern. My mother similar. My brother, Ren, was seen by our family as a failure. He was phenomenal at fighting, though he did have a hard time keeping his anger in check. Not wanting to have me end up like him they forced me to do well. If i screwed up anything at all, be it large or small my father would take me to our family Dojo and beat me senseless, I would come home bruised and bloodied. See I, unlike Ren, was not naturally good at combat. Knowing this my father used what he knew about it to his advantage. One day when I got a ‘sub-par’ grade on an extra credit assignment. My father took me to the Dojo, low and behold Ren was there waiting for us. He proceeded to beat my father to death because of how he was treating me.”

    @Vale

  11. Atzo let out a sigh when he heard Shield compliment him, it was quiet and to himself. He was not one to enjoy compliments, at least not towards himself. He never agreed with them, though he understood that Shield was just saying it to help the little girl be more comfortable. He smirked before saying “That's nothing compared to what he did” he gestured to Shield “He was able to kill one in one hit!” The child seemed almost overwhelmed in awe as the two men walked her out of the cave. Interestingly enough, Atzo’s hunch was correct. Night had indeed fallen in the timespan that the were in the cave. “I do not know for certain, but are monsters more likely to spawn at night?” he whispered to Shield trying not to let the child hear him. He was hoping the answer was no but feared that he was right in his assumption

  12. Atzo thought for a moment, “I have never been to the Grove” he replied, curiosity in his voice. “I would be happy to go there though. I agree that it would be safer to stay near the town of beginnings and the safezone therein.” He smiled and stood up, pushing in his chair. “This woman seems to be cold though I feel that has more to do with distrust then with her true personality though that has yet to be seen.” Atzo thought to himself “I am sure that I will be soon to learn the true nature of it though When that will be I am not sure of.” He finished what was left of his second round of wine, and took it to the counter. He nodded at the bartender before waiting for Vale at the door. “It is strange to see someone as she is act in such a way, she seems to be pessimistic, I don't blame her. But you have to embrace the suck or you will live in a constant state of despair.”

  13. Atzo heard a player yelling for him. Confused he looked around, seeing nothing he decided to yell “WHO IS CALLING FOR ATZO?” not assuming a response he turns back to Solomon who seemed uncomfortable with the situation. “Don’t worry Solomon you will be fine, I want to help you regain your memories.” Atzo smiled at solomon before continuing to the bench. The who was this man coming to met them? Perhaps it was Ren? There was no direct notion that it was anyone at all but who else would it be? It would be best to pay it no mind unless there was something else to come of it and so for the time being he would focus on Solomon. “So, how much do you remember Solomon? Though, if you need help remembering who you were I am happy to but I don’t want to reiterate things that you aren’t.”

    @ren-sama

  14. Shield progressed as Atzo assumed his neutral, nonchalant manner. He watched as Shield grabbed a strangely glowing rock before stumbling upon the lost girl. He watched as Shield lovingly and calmly approached the girl, it was nice to see his kindness. Atzo stood back observing the spectacle. It seemed that Shields attempts had started working, The little girl calmed down. How much did this guy know about tending for the young? Maybe he had kids in the real world, maybe he was just good with kids. Atzo however was not very good with them. He kept his mouth shut and let Shield take it. The last thing they needed was for Atzo to say something unsavory and have the child run off. Looking around Atzo did what he could to watch his surroundings, the vast amount of darkness becoming slightly more bearable. He was scared of another encounter though he doubted it would happen.

  15. Atzo Watched as the Final bat lined itself up for him perfectly. He felt his foot find a good position as he crouched and readied his strike, the blade found its way to the bat almost by itself. Atzo watched as the Beast collapsed to the ground and shattered. He then put his sword away and looked to Shield “Well that is finally over, I guess we have to find that child now eh?” Atzo didn't mind, it was fun being able to partake in combat without being forced to worry about death. It was actually why he tended to avoid it regularly, knowing he was weak he found it much better for him to stick to the streets and fight his battles with his mind instead of his sword. He looked around the cave, then back to Shield “Where should we go now, farther into the cave right?”

  16. “I need you to take this package to Lyle Tealeaf. She is a blacksmith. I have been meaning to give it to her for a while and It would be easier if you would help me out in giving it to her” The old man said. Atzo nodded in responce “I would be happy to help you” he picked up the package “Thank you for all the help, Sir. I will be sure to stop in and buy something in the future!” With that Atzo left into the Town of Beginnings. The sun was centered directly overhead, symbolizing noon. With all of the people arround it was sure to be quite the spectacle attempting to reach the blacksmith. Atzo stopped walking as he realized something. He had no idea where the blacksmith shop was, The old man never told him. He shook his head and continued walking, “How hard can it be?” He thought to himself

  17. Atzo watched as one of the bats shattered into pixels. It was quite the spectacle. “They won't go anywhere” Atzo said to shield as he positioned himself in the way of the very battered bat. “That was amazing” Atzo thought “The ability to do delayed damage that is so powerful, I am amazed to see that it could knock it out so quick! Not to mention that the one in front of me will not last long either, I may not even get my hit it, not that i care. In fact i would much enjoy it if shield killed it, get out of this dark hole in the ground!” he watched as the bat coward in the middle of them, seeming as though it was actually scared. You could see as it sat, considering one last attack on Shield as if to say ‘I'll take you out with me’ though they all knew that would be pointless, Touch Shield even once and you could die as it seemed

  18. Atzo looked at the man and smiled “Anything else i can help you with?” the man smiled back “Yes, I will show you how to craft, come with me” The two walked into the back of the small workshop and stood behind a crafting bench. Atzo watched intently as the Alchemist expertly created a potion. Atzo took mental notes as he watched. “Now you try” The man said. Atzo nodded as he approached the workstation. Taking the given materials he went to work remembering how he used to brew potions in the real world. Using his previous knowledge and what he saw from The old man, Atzo created a perfect option. The man clapped as he watched Atzo finish. “Very well done!” he said “I was not expecting you to pick up on it that quickly, you certainly have a knack for this!” Atzo thanked him. “There is one last thing I need you to do for me…”

  19. Atzo nodded at shield, I will do so. Now focused on the other bat Atzo attempted to strike once again. He felt his sword fly through the empty air as Atzo attempted to attack from behind. The darkness was deepening it seemed, perhaps the sun was setting. “On the accounts of me missing I am going to be holding my next action to attempt to gain an upper hand” Atzo said to Shield. These beasts were close to bursting, and Atzo knew that even if he did nothing else but stay in their way of retreat then they could surely take them out. Looking around he attempted to gain a better understanding of his environment, it was hard to do because of the vast darkness that engulfed them though he was able to notice some inconsistencies in the floors, something he took note of and intended to avoid if he could.

  20. After a few more hours of searching Atzo finally found a small tree. It seemed to be a lemon tree. “Anything at this point will do” He said to himself before promptly picking the fruit and pocketing it he turned to walk back to the town of beginnings. The woods were still very pleasant, the world serene. He was one step closer to being done which lessened the pain of being forced to look for materials for as long as had. He watched as the forest cleared up and approached the town of beginnings. The streets were still rather busy though he knew how to weave his way in and out of a crowd without being noticed. He kept his pace slow and soon enough he reached the alchemist that had originally given him the quest. “Here you go sir, five materials for your potions” the old man looked at the things in front of him and smiled.

  21. Atzo felt the power from the game building as he jumped up to hit one of the bats. But it seemed like they saw it coming now, quickly they darted out of his way as he jumped. Landing he looked to Shield, “My apologies, Hopefully they will attack you now that I have gone for them.” He was analyzing the situation to the best of his ability but the computer kept throwing him off. He couldn’t figure out how these monsters were acting so much like a real creature, he had commended the developer before but this was even more than he originally believed. He looked around choosing not to hold his next turn. “Judging by the damage Shields armour does I feel it safe to assume that If i keep them in his corner that they will quickly die.” he thought as he observed everything. “I wonder how hard it will be to hit them without the game's assistance. Surely it won't be as challenging as it seems but one can never be too cautious.”

  22. Atzo watched as Vale spoke. He was curious as to how she would take everything. Atzo showed curiosity when she mentioned Martial Arts but let his questions stay in his mind “I am alright on food and I have my wine so I will be good for a while” Atzo said with a chuckle “As for my story, I have spent most my time here in search of my older brother. I more prefer the mountains on floor two myself. The overlooks are absolutely breathtaking.” Her serious overtones were all too familiar to Atzo, not in the fact that he had seen them before in others but that he used them regularly. He thought for a second looking vale up and down once more “I am sure you have stories, though if you are as similar to me as it seems you are, you won't talk at a place like this, surrounded by people. So, that being said, How about we go for a walk through the woods or mountains. I don't mind as to where it will be for us to go"

  23. Atzo watch the Bats change strategy. “Is this game thinking?” he asked himself “A computer generation should not be able to make sudden adjustments like that, and yet there it was.” He watched as Shield slammed his axe down, it was interesting that the man did so little damage, though it was by no means surprising. You had to make sacrifices to be any type of fighter. And with Shield being a tank it was no shock that the damage he dealt was sub-par. Though what did surprise him was when Atzo saw the bats attack. Shields unmoving health bar remained, yet the bats hit bar dropped significantly. He could not seem to figure out why. “It must be something special with his armour.” he thought “There is no way he did that by a skill.” Atzo positioned himself behind the bats and prepared to activate his Sword Art once more.

  24. Finishing his drink Atzo stood up and left the bar, thanking the bartender as he did so. He walked to the teleporter and went back to the floor of beginnings. “Surely” he thought “Surely I will find one here” he trotted down the sidewalk observing the shops. The town of beginnings was much busier today. He didn't know or care why but it was worth noting. Walking to the edge of the Safezone he began to look for the final mat. Though to his disappointment nothing seemed to show up. It was amazing how long this quest had taken him, he hoped that gathering mats would be the end of it though he had a strong feeling that it was only just the beginning. Sighing he walked further into the woods. “There is no way I will have to go much longer before I am forced to quit” he thought “There is just no way, how hard is it really to find one material? You would think they littered the ground but apparently not,”

  25. This was getting disappointing, Atzo had been searching for a while now as he walked back to the city but still couldn’t find a mat. Maybe he was looking in the wrong places? He shrugged as he stepped over the line of the safezone. He began walking toward the teleporter but stopped. “I should get a drink first, maybe that will help” he turned toward the tavern. It was a short walk but the quiet city was pleasant. When he arrived Atzo ordered a small glass of white wine. The bar was completely empty excluding him. It didn't bother him though, he was used to being alone. Taking a gulp he examined the bar itself. It was very well designed, especially for the style it was modeled after. The wood was very well shined, the stone work looked as though the owner brought in a group of professionals. It was truly a sight to behold, and one that would be overlooked by most who came through.
