  1.  She shivered a little in the coat and smiled at the man. "Vargas, that is a nice name. It is a pleasure to meet you." She said as stood up and handed the man his coat back before she started to dance and twirl. "Best way to dry off and get warm! You should try it!" She called out as she danced and laughed. Her moves were graceful, a reflection of her former life in the real world. Her angelic like laugh echoed through the courtyard as people started to gather and watch the beauty as she danced, completely oblivious to the fact you could still see through her dress. She did not have a care in the world as she moved. She was having so much fun she just started to do cartwheels and back flips in the middle of the square. Her body moved like a angel soaring through the sky.

  2.  The door opened slowly as a petite but voluptuous beauty walked into the store. She was timid but yet graceful as she maneuvered around in her white leotard, that left nothing to the imagination. She looked around the shop a little, shy like and almost clung to the walls like she wanted to be unnoticed. She was told this shop helped out beginner players like her self and knew she should try to get some kind of protection, but she did not think heavy armor or a giant kite shield would work for her. She played with a bit of her long rose tinted hair as she walked around looking at the various things. She walked up towards the front and noticed a huge hulk of a man with a bear cub by his side. She shook off her nerves and stepped towards him. "Um.. excuse me.. hi... would you.. happen to have... something I can use for defense... maybe something small?" She said timidly as she held her hands in front of her and placed her head down a little.

  3.  Raina looked at the man a little puzzled. She did not seem to understand why he was handing her a coat and telling her to cover up. "Cover up? Why? It is not like I can catch a cold here, right?" She said with a smile before looking down as herself and noticing the see through dress. "Oh goddess!" She bellowed as she grabbed the coat and covered her indecency. "Thank you, I am such a klutz. I did not even see the guy I flipped over, I hope he is okay." She continued as she stepped out of the fountain and sat on the basin. "I am Raina by the way, sorry i got you soaked." She said as she tried her best to dry her hair. She crossed her legs as she waited for her clothes to dry. "Surely, clothes will dry faster in this world right?" She said with a smile.

  4. The water was peaceful, tranquil and shimmering. It reminded her so much of the lakes and oceans back home, refreshing to the touch and warm from the sun. She floated there and realized she need to go up for air soon. She swam to the surface and she crashed through the top layer of aqua, flipping her long, rose tinted hair behind her, sending sparkling droplets of moisture with it. She wiped the water out of her face as she looked down at her bikini. A white almost lace like two piece set that she found at another player's tailor shop. It definitely was cute and showed off her body, that for some reason the girl was completely oblivious to the fact she even has a body. She swam around a little before noticing someone on the shore. "Hey!" She called out in her angelic like sing song voice. "Isn't this place beautiful?" She waved to the man hoping he was a nice guy and would not be mean to her. She was a little hesitant to talk to people but she knew if she was going to survive she needed friends.

  5.  She was not really sure where she was heading, or why, but she felt the need to be near some water in a place where she would not get murdered? She eyed a fountain in front of her and got really excited. She started to sprint towards the fountain and frankly was not paying attention as she tripped over a person tying his boot. She literally plowed into him and the forced caused her body to flip over and land into the fountain with a large SPLASH! "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPP!" She screamed as she landed in the fountain spraying droplets of moisture everywhere and on everyone. Her white dress was soaked exposing black lacy undergarments that she seemed completely oblivious to the fact that they showed. She looked around and pouted a little as she said out loud, "Damnit, what did i trip over? How the hell does this keep happening?" She question as she rubbed her back a little and stood up.

  6.  "I'll try my best, I am still getting to used to it, but here I go! Please hit my target!" She called out as she charged her blade and stabbed in a two hit v arcing combo. The boar was obviously faster then she was and dodged out of the way. "No!" She called out as she tried to regain her footing before the boar could strike back. "I am okay." She said out loud as fear clouded her mind. She sheathed her blade and curved her body backwards as she pushed off into a graceful back flip trying to lengthen the space between her and the enemy. She shook her head allowing her hair to fly to the side a little, as she removed those thoughts of fear. "Do not worry about me, I will do better next time!" She continued as she gave a small smile.

She turned her attention back to the enemy and focused. "Relax girl. You got this, this is literally a dumb boar. The noobiest monster in existence. If you die to this you deserve it." She said to herself.

  7.  This was just becoming pure madness. She had to do something, surely she could do at least something. Was there anything she could possibly do to help her new friend? "Please, there has to be something I can do to help!" She said as she placed her hand over her heart. "I am just not helpful to anyone am I?" She said to herself as she took a step towards the fight.

The storm picked up, raging on like a hellish act of god. Trees shuddered and hair danced along with the maddening wind. Her white dress fluttered along with her hair, as if it was trying to fly away. The grip of her hand on her blade started to become painful almost like it was really cutting into her hand. The cold steel of the handle caused her body to shiver. What should she do? Stand back like she was told or try and help?

  8.   No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her voice cried out throughout the area. Loud, angelic, but yet full of fear. The orange player, Skull, he finally managed to land a hit on Beatbox. Her hand reached for her blade, her heart palpitated in her chest to such a rapid pace that she worried it would explode. The fear, mixed with the adrenaline scared the holy hell out of her. She placed her hands over her mouth as tears rolled down her face. She could not bear the thought that someone would die protecting her, right as soon as she decided to fight. She can not bear the thought.

She was useless. How could she protect anyone? She could not even control her own life in the real world. How could she ever think that she, someone so small, could ever be someone's protector? All she wanted was to do her part to end the game, to send those kids home. That is all, how did it come to this?

  9.  The sound of her boots against the soil and earth rung through her ears. She looked around the area for an enemy to fight and noticed something peculiar. Another player just starting out. "Maybe he can use some help." She said as she ran towards him. "Hey!! Do you need some help?" She called out to the other player.

She unsheathed her rapier as she continued to close up the gap between herself and the other player. "Strength in numbers right?" She called out as she gave a wink. She did not know how strong she could be, how helpful even, but if her being here to help another player, saves their life, that is all that matters to her.  She composed herself as she locked her focus on the enemy in front of her. Readying her weapon, she prepared herself for the boar's strike. "Let us do this together!" She continued.

  10.   The man would not listen to her. Her pleas, her cries, all she wanted to do was save his life. She did not want to make this world any darker then it has to be, but clearly this man only wants to kill others for gain, and apparently has no chance of wanting to preserve life. "How sad to be filled with such hate. Is this what this world has done to us?" She crossed her arms and turned her head a little almost wanting to run away. This is not a new world she wishes she was in, but this is life. This is her new reality. This hell is her new life.

"I.. I do not want this." She said as she watched the fight continue. Even if this man wished to kill her. She could not find it in her heart to hate this player. She could not wish for his death. What kind of person wishes that on anyone?

  11.  Raina was in awe as she watched the fight. She knew that she should of been worried especially if someone died, but this player was nowhere near the skill Beatbox had. She shook herself out of her impressionable state and realized exactly what would happen if Beatbox won. "Wait... No.. this has to stop. Everyone stop fighting! Stop this madness! No one needs to die!" She called out to the other players fighting. "Please... just stop!" Tears swelled in her eyes, only to be masked by the falling rain.

"We should not be doing this. Killing each other. What would ever bring someone to do this. Please, Skull, stop this player killing. You can change. You can become a good player, someone that can help the rest of the community beat this death game. Do you.. do you not want to go home?" She continued as she placed a hand over her heart again causing her chest to move in a fan service like manner. "Life is a beautiful thing, not something we should throw away." She called out.

  12.  The wind raged on, the once peaceful breeze not a berserk howl like the scream of a monster on a dark and cold night. Clouds blocked out the virtual sun turning the surrounding sky a meek and dull grey as rain tormented the ground below. The water soaked Raina's white dress exposing skin. The rain was cold, just like it is in real life, not that she minded. Raina has always enjoyed the rain, a weather that most would not enjoy due to its gloomy outlook.

I stepped through the front door with a sigh. I was soaking wet, and cold, but yet could not be happier about it. I have always loved the one thing I get my name from. Raina, the Rain Queen, daughter of the prodigious Scylar family, the perfect but yet cold daughter, was arriving late home, soaked and without a care in the world.

"Raina what the hell? Where have you been and where is your umbrella! You are soaked, you better not catch a cold and miss school!" My mother yelled at me as soon as she saw me, but I was just so happy. The rain was peaceful and soothing.

She snapped out of her thoughts as she watched the fight safely away from the player killer. Beatbox unleashed a impressive strategic sword skill and seemed to deal a nice chunk of damage. "Wow... just wow." She said to herself.

  13.  Only cowards threaten children to be strong. Why did those words ring so true in her mind? Her heart beat rapidly at the very thought of these words. Had she really had been so oblivious to the reasoning her family had to treat her they way they did? Were they afraid of their own failures?

"Daughter, you are to be wed to the heir of the Sakarai Household. He is a smart man and you will produce an male heir to take over the business one day." This shadow of her father said to her. He never understood the severity of asking such a thing from her, especially this day and age.She looked at the picture of her supposed mate and laughed as she tore it to shreds.

"Father, I am not some prize for you to hand out for money or power. If you wish for me to marry off and produce heirs so to speak, it will be with someone I love, nothing less of true love will be accepted. Forgive me for my abruptness, but this how you and mother raised me. Perfect is the only acceptable outcome." She said as she turned her back never to speak of this topic again.

Who knows what her family did to her body while she has been stuck in this game. Surely they were not cruel enough to marry her off while she was in this state. She gripped the handle of her blade as these thoughts and truths rang through her mind. "When I get back, things will be different. " She muttered to herself.

  14.  Raina took a step back as the swords starting swinging. She did not know what to do. She was weak. A level one player. Someone who could not even help defend herself. The air raged on like the very wind itself could sense the tension and tried to fight back for the peace that was once here.

"Your a girl, what kind of girl plays video games. It is not like you are any good Raina. You might as well face it and not even try. Sword Art Online is only for the most experienced players. Veterans of Virtual Reality Online Games. Not some girl like you." he said to me. Telling me things I had already thought myself before purchasing the game.

"You are wrong. I am strong, I am good at this. Girls can survive any game and beat any man. Just watch I will prove you wrong." How wrong was I to be so brave towards this idiot? I did not have anything to prove to this idiot.

The shaking stopped. Her body calmed as she watching the flurry of blows. "Beatbox! Kick this idiot's ass! You cannot lose! You hear me? I have so much more to do, I know you just met me, but please! Do not lose to him!" She called out with determination and strength.

  15. Raina gasped as the orange player came out of nowhere. She turned and took a step back, startled  by the player's words. She tripped over her own feet and fell with her back against the tree. She shook as she unsheathed her rapier from its holder and did her best to compose herself. "Leave us alone! No one here is looking for trouble!" She called out to the orange player. She tried her best to stand her up, in case she needed to defend herself. She could not let someone kill her already. She was not ready to die. Especially not like this.

She stopped her shaking and took a breathe. "Why? Why are you following me? What the hell do you want with me?" She called out as anger flashed through her eyes. "I cannot run away, what if he hurts you?" She called out to Beatbox with worry. "What would he want with us?" She said as she continued talking to Beatbox, finally managing to fully stand up. "What if he is a higher level then you?"

She took a step back to distance herself if she did have to flee. She had no idea why this player was stalking them. and if she was his target or was it Beatbox? Whatever was his goal, she could not allow herself to lose here.

  16.  Raina wiped the tears from her eyes and sighed as she turned back to the man. "I am not so sure it was a threat. These kids are level one just like me. No one helped them when this death game started. They were not like me. They did not hide. A lot of them tried to get strong and failed. What was originally a group of around twenty young kids, is now like five. These players come through the town and stir up trouble but they are not evil so to speak. Their words have a bit of truth to them. Sadly, I have to agree with them. These kids are not warriors. Neither am I sadly. But they look for me to help them. They want to go home, that is why.. that is why I am going to try. Even if I perish. I cannot just sit here any longer and swim in the pitch black nothingness I was in. I have to be strong." She said as she punched a tree.

Her eyes almost a blaze with determination, almost like they were pools of fire. "I hate this, I hate that I did not try when the game first started. I hid like a coward. So I have to do something." She continued. "I really need to feel alive again."

  17.  She looked at the man ruffling her hair and smiled a little. As he bowed and offered his name and hand to help her up, again her face lit up with blush. She was never very good around men. She took his hand and stood up, brushing the dust off of her dress. "My name... my name is Raina. I know it seems silly, but I was trying to go out and try to level for the first time today.. and then this happens. Maybe, just maybe, it is a sign that I will only get myself killed". She said as she crossed her arms under her chest causing her breasts to bounce a little, not that she noticed. Raina never really thought of herself as gifted when it came to her body, but that is what years of mental abuse from your family will do to you. She turned her back away from the man and sighed. "I.. I just wanted to help the children get home safe. Do you know the veteran players are telling them they are going to die?" She said as her eyes teared up a little. "Again my apologies. This is my burden to bear not yours. Please do not let me pester you will my issues. I am sure I will be ok, or I won't, either way it is not your problem." She finished as she turned her head back to the man as her rose tinted hair blew in the breeze, in an almost berserk like dance.

  18.   Raina walked around the town trying to decide where to go. Should she go and try to buy supplies first? Or should she try and get some experience points? She walked on the path leading down a hill on the outskirts of town and honestly was not paying a whole lot of attention to her surroundings. Her mind wandered on thoughts of her previous life. Before she was another victim of SAO

"Why waste you time on such virtual nonsense? Raina use your time wisely, go practice gymnastics or study, not this crap." Raina's mother said harshly. Raina winced as the words cut deep. Her mother never had anything nice to say to her, nor did it matter how much she achieved. Raina was always a failure in her parents eyes.

"Momma, I love them. I am good at them. Please, don't you understand?"

"I wonder, does she understand now? Do they have know what happened to me?" Raina said to herself as she tripped over a pebble. "Eeep!" she cried out as she stumbled down the hill and almost flew down it. She saw someone standing by the tree as she fell towards him. "Oh no! Look out!!!!" She screamed out as she crashed into the man, knocking them both down onto the rough earth.

She was on top of the man with her chest up close to his face and her face red with blush. "Ouchies.. I.. I am sorry, I tripped over a pebble." She said as she tried to get up off of the man. She crawled off him and sat on the ground with her face a deem scarlet blush. "Please forgive me." She said sweetly.

  19.  Link Start! Had I known of what I was about to experience when I said these words, what my heart was going to go through, maybe.. just maybe, I would have reconsidered this. Maybe I could of saved myself from this pain. The world was beautiful, so life like. I had never experienced something so realistic when I game, this world could almost be mistaken for the real one. My hair, something i cherished and took care of daily, was just like how it was in the real world. Long and silky smooth, pink as the morning sunrise. It made me smile to see how much of myself was in this character. Oh how I wish I knew how honest that thought was.

I walked around the starting town just in awe of what I was seeing. That's when I suddenly ripped from my spot and ported to the middle of the town, and the rules of this world were explained to me. This fun safe haven now became a death game. I was in no hurry to die and like so many others I fell into a depression and stayed within the town. I refused to leave. I did not want to die. I lost the will to leave the town. Time passed and I continued my seclusion. Before I knew it, I wasted a whole year alone.

She woke up the morning sun peered through the window of the inn. Stretching her arms and crawling out of bed she looked out the window and she knew she needed a change. Knock! Knock! "Big sis, Are you awake?" a meek little voice said through the door. She walked across the floor in her flowing white nightgown and turned the handle, quickly opening the door to a barrage of little kids running and jumping into her bed.

"Good morning, everyone." She said in her angelic almost song like voice. "What is the rush?" She continued as she sat on her bed next to the children.

"Sister Raina, an experienced player told us... told us we were going to die here. Is that true?" A little girl said to her. All the children had tears in their eyes as they looked at her for answers.

"Why would you believe such a thing? Any day now someone will complete this game and save us." She said as she patted the girl on her head. "Don't worry, okay. You have so many people that care for you guys, me included. We will be fine. Just fine."

"Sis, why don't you fight? You are so strong and fast, every time we spar with those kendo swords we can never keep up. " One of the boys said. The words hit her like a knife to her heart. Why couldn't she fight? She needed to wake up and not be stuck here anymore.  "I.. I don't want to die big sister. Please. will you beat the game? Please!" The boy said as the kids burst into tears. Raina stood up off the bed and opened her inventory to her equipment screen scrolling to the starter dress she had and put it on.

"Ok... calm.. calm down guys. I'll do it. I will fight.. for you. But promise me to behave. Stick with your other siblings while I am gone ok?" She said as she kissed them all on their foreheads. "Don't worry about me guys, Big Sis Raina will be alright, Promise." She said with a wink. She walked out of the inn, without hesitation, to avoid scaring the children. Could she actually help win this game? Can she save those kids? She gripped the blade of her starter rapier and sighed. "Maybe.. just maybe I can do something. I might be starting late but I guess its better then not starting at all. "  She said to herself as she walked through town.

    Username: Raina
    Real name: Raina Matthews
    Age: 18
    Gender: Female
    Height: 5'2

    About: History/personality

    Personality:

Raina is a kind, bubbly, girl who hates to be mean or rude to anyone living being. The kind of girl that just has to make everyone feel better, whether she has to hug or glomp others to do it. She is a lover of rpgs and life in general. Even with her constant need to be kind, Raina is no pushover. She has a strong sense of justice and love for her friends and family. With a strong determination, only matched by her high intelligence, she faces any challenges thrown her way. Raina can be the most loyal friend you may have or the worst rival to face. She is not afraid to fight for what she believes in and will not give up, even if it means giving up her life. Raina presents a level of love and adornment for every living being, whether it be ally or enemy. She often apologizes for having to fight her enemies, wishing there was another way.

Her love for everything is a great trait to her personality but can also be her greatest weakness if exploited correctly. Her high sense of morality, has had her deemed the title "The Princess". She hates to cause or see any bloodshed, and wishes to solve issues through talking first if she can. Even still, Raina is aware that sometimes she cannot avoid a confrontation and must fight for her beliefs. Raina is highly respected member of society due to her confidence and attitude towards challenges. She is often seen helping the others believing they own abilities and strength. She is also seen planting new flowers and caring for stray animals through out the city, expressing her love for living things. Raina can not tell a lie to save her life. She believes it is not kind to deceive anyone and hates when people do it to her. She is not afraid to explain the issues of lying to fellow person.

Raina gets along with others very well, but that does not mean she's a sheep. If she deems the need for her step up and help the leader in any way she will take it. And if there is no leader, she herself will stand up and take control when needed. She can be a very gentle but tough leader. Raina speaks with clarity and wisdom beyond her years, being a scholar more than a social butterfly. Her words seem to be be sung as she spoke. Her speech is silky and sweet but with an undertone of self doubt. Her shyness sometimes causes her to stutter when meeting new people. Listening to her parents talk more than others has given her a unique accent that almost sounds american.

    Likes:
    1. Art, Raina has grown up loving art and the way an artist captures their emotions.
    2. Music, singing was one of the few ways Raina could cope with all she has been through.
    3. Gymnastics, one of few sport related hobbies Raina has. She has been practicing since she was six.

    Dislikes:
    1. Rudeness, Raina always shows her best personality traits and always expresses kindness, she thinks others should do so as well.

    2. Pants, Raina has always preferred outfits that are skirts, dresses, or is a leotard of some sort. No pants. Pants Suck.

    3. Mean people, Raina knows they have no place here if they don't treat people right.

    Appearance:

At five feet two inches, this girl is most player's ideal dream girl. Her body is lean but toned with many years of strength and speed gained from her gymnastic training. Curvaceous and shaped in a hourglass like figure, Raina's body is mature and voluptuous with an ample set of breasts that she is almost ignorant about. Her measurements are a bust of 91cm (36 in.), a waist of 59 cm, (24 in.), and hips of 88 cm, (35 in).

Raina has striking rose tinted, pink hair that flows wildly down to her knees, covering one of eyes in an almost Jessica Rabbit style covering her left eye.  Her scarlet eyes are like two pools of crimson wine and express a sense of wisdom and maturity far beyond someone her age.

Raina has a high sense of fashion and style, constantly adorned with armor like skirts to not screw with her mobility. Upon her face she wears a stylish but tasteful black eye shadow and crimson lipstick.

    History:

Raina was born to a family of overachievers and cold emotionless robot like people. She could never find ways to get their approval or love. The only person she could turn to is her nanny, Arisa. Her family expected Raina to be nothing less than perfect. Perfect student, perfect daughter, and a perfect gymnast. Perfection was a necessity and anything less was unacceptable.  Raina needed a solace, a safe haven where she could just be a person.

That is when a classmate of hers introduced Raina to online mmorpgs. Games where she could be anything, anyone. This love for mmorpgs is what caused her to learn of Sword Art Online. A Vrmmorpg where she would be fully invested into the game. A friend at the local game store introduced her to it and she got her excited for the release. Have she known of the hell awaiting her when she purchased the gear and game, surely she would of reconsidered.

    Virtues:
Loving: Raina has a heart of gold. She truly loves everyone and it takes a lot for her to hate someone. She has an almost big sister/mother type vibe to her.

Focused: Raina is a highly focused player. When she sets a task in front of her she will complete it. Raina will do what it takes to complete the job for herself and her friends.

Honest: Raina has never liked to lie. Her view of her family as a whole is just one big lie, so she tries to stay away from lying. She just does not see the point.
    Flaws:
Forgiving: Raina has a heart of gold. She truly loves everyone and finds it hard to hold a grudge. This does not mean she will fully trust someone and let her guard down, but she will always gives a second chance.

Oblivious to Body: Raina has a large chest, a trait for some reason she seems to block out. She was made to feel inadequate of her body and achievements by her family so she just does not think she is pretty or well endowed. This causes her to wear armor that shows off her chest but she does not understand why people stare.

Fragile Heart: Raina does not have guards up against her heart, emotionally. She takes things personal often and can be very emotional over silly things. If a friend does something to hurt her feeling it is almost as painful as physical damage.
