  1. "Tama.." Her breath was squeezed out of her when he picked her up into a hug. She began smacking the top of his head to put her down, when he did she bent over in attempts to regain her stolen air.

She nervously looked around when he plopped her feet back to the ground. She noticed many pairs of eyes on them. "Tamaki, you're making a scene." Her voice came out in a whine. However, she soon got caught up in his excitement and a huge smile returned to her face. "My hair, you're asking about my hair when you.. look like this!" She exclaimed gesturing at his appearance. "I still look like me! You look like some kind of dark and gloomy rogue!" She fussed back at him. Not long after he had set her down she realized that she hadn't actually hugged him back and hugged him tightly hoping to shut him up. @Winik

  2. The extremely short, young girl returned the next day. She didn't know why really, but then she did. She wanted a piece of home, which happened to be talking loudly while sitting on the fountain. Her breath caught in her throat as the figure started recalling memories from real life. She listened to him talk as she watched passersby stop every now and again to stare at the odd boy talking to himself in the middle of town. She laughed, not only at their reactions but to the memories he brought to life.

She felt her heart clench at the memories though, she didn't realize how much she missed her mom and dad, not to mention her little sister. As he laid back and stared at the sky she quietly made her way up to the opposite side of the fountain. Her small frame laid well on the large concrete blocks forming the perimeter of the fountain. "Remember that time that you made a fort out of all of the toilet paper for me? Then when it fell and made a mess once again, something we all know I'm good at. I got chastised by my mom, then yours, and then you." She ended her sentence with a short giggle. "Oh I was so mad. Then the look on your mom's face after I yelled at you for yelling at me when you were the one to set it up in the first place."  She erupted into laughter. Then she sat up and turned to look at the boy, he looked like the Tamaki she used to know, in the face at least. But his hair threw off everything she remembered.  @Winik

  3. Raeze jumped at hearing her IRL name, wasn't that like a big no-no? She peeked around from the bush she was hiding behind (She had decided to return to the same flowered bush from the previous day) and watched the reactions of nearby players. A few turned to look at the character, he was extremely tall with long blue hair that spiked at the bangs. His height was about right for her friend from the real world, but she would never have taken him for a blue guy. She personally loved the color, hence her own hair but she kept the general style except, instead of keeping it in twin braids, she decided to keep it up in a ponytail most days. The blue this character had was a "look at me I'm here" type of blue, much different from her darker shade. His whole demeanor screamed "LOOK AT ME". 'I mean, Tamaki was kinda that way but it was only because of his height and how nice he was.' She mused to herself.

She watched as the few who turned to look at him shook their heads and turned away, returning to what they were previously doing. Most NPCs didn't react, however, one for some reason jumped comically into the air and looked at the boy with such ferocity. Raeze couldn't help but giggle from her hiding spot. It was such a funny thing to watch.

'I'm sure there are plenty of Sakuras, I mean its Japan that's one of the most common names.' She shook her head while remaining in her spot. @Winik

  4. Her dark blue eyes narrowed playfully, "I thought we had agreed that you wouldn't do that anymore." She ducked around him hoping to avoid, yet another hair ruffling. "And I don't know, give it to a guild member or something? Are there any stats to it?" She questioned, not truly sure on how to check an item for stats.

She walked around, admiring the forest around them, listening to the birds calling out to eachother around them. "It was great actually, I was worried for nothing obviously." She smiled brightly at him. "Maybe the next time I come around a monster, I wont be so scared."  Her smile widened.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a small glint of light as the sun shone through the gaps in the trees. Curiously, she bounced over to it and inspected the area.

A small squeal erupted from her as she began pulling an item from the ground. Once fully out, she realized that it was a small bundle of silk thread. Her excitement went through the roof as she jumped up and bounced over to Stryder. She hid the item behind her back, hoping he hadn't seen her pull it out. "Well I found the perfect thing for you! A thank you for all that you've done and for the pendant from the quest." Her smile grew, if at all possible. Her happiness was overflowing.

  5. A short girl with long dark blue hair pulled up into a ponytail, walked up to the notice board in the Town of Beginnings. It had been a few weeks since she had checked it. She saw a few help request, which she skimmed over shortly before dismissing them. As much as she might want to help, she wasn't able to. The RGN hated her it seemed and she wasn't in a position where she could battle yet.

The next post was written in all red and it caught her attention. She read through it and felt her heart begin to pound. 'Could this be Tamaki? I haven't heard from him since the game started. I could get seriously hurt.' She worried to herself. 'How do I even know that I remember what he looked like IRL.' She looked from left to right, other players mulled about and NPCs talked at anyone who would listen. Her ponytail trailed behind her as her head flicked nervously searching around her.

She decided to find a spot out of sight where she could observe the fountain. She would wait a day or two and see if the person would actually show, then to see if it was a male or female. She found a nice flowered bush to perch behind while waiting.

    @Winik

  6. Raeze looked from the pendant to Stryder for a moment. She was very confused by his actions. He said she was a friend and he had been very gracious with her, however he acted as if there may be something more hidden. The necklace was very pretty, and she was glad to have a memento to remember her new friend by when they decided to part ways. So she laid the pendant back down and returned her attention to Stryder. "You didn't have to though," She growled as he roughed up her ponytail once again.

She listened to his explanation about the stealth skill, becoming slightly disheartened. "I think, to be honest, that my clumsiness scares people off." She chuckled humorlessly. She watched as her map started working properly again and the forest began to return to normal. She noticed, as it was returning to normal, there was a spot that appeared to possibly house a material.

So, she donned her worn leather gloves once more and crouched in front of a small moss covered puddle. She allowed the confusion of Stryder's actions to slip from her mind as she felt the water hit the outside of her gloves. Her hair began to stand on end and a shiver ran through her body as she also felt the moss squish between her fingers.

Raeze got excited for a moment as her hand his a small harder item in the puddle. As she brought it out, the smell from the item hit her and she just as quickly dropped it. She threw her gloves off and stalked away from the area holding her breath.

  7. Raeze allowed him to help her up as she brushed grass off her face. She was giggling softly, a normal reaction for when she does something clumsy. "I'm sorry. This happens a lot. One of the reasons I want to invest in the stealth skill. Maybe it will negate some of my clumsiness." Her shoulders moved with her laughter.

When she bent over to brush some dirt particles off her pants, a circular pendant swung forward. She stopped for a moment, confused by the new item, upon closer inspection she saw the black silhouette of a wolf overlaid on a purple moon  She didn't think she would get anything since he was the one to do all the fighting. She grabbed the pendant as she straightened her body once more. "Stryder, I thought the person who beat the creature obtained the last attack bonus." She tiled her head with her brows knitted together in her confusion, hand still holding up the circular pendant.

    Item obtained from @Stryder: Hoya

  8. Raeze didn't really know what was happening at first. She felt the rumble of the creature moving toward them and her hair on the back of her neck began to stand on end. "Stry.." She was cut short as the minotaur charged them and he stepped in front of her. Moments later she felt him pull her body with him as he side-stepped the large monster. She was silenced even further as the boy winked at her and dashed toward the danger.

She felt some heat in her cheeks, not used to being treated as such. Raeze gasped as he was launched into the air, she began to worry. Then, she saw it explode into pixels.

Raeze just stood looking at Stryder. She had never been in a battle to see anything die in game. She was awestruck that he defeated it, and so easily at that. "Thank you!." She smiled brightly at him "That was so great!" She was so excited she hopped around a bit. In her excitement, her left foot landed in a small hole in the forest ground. Next thing she knew there was dirt and moss in her face.

  9. Raeze frowned a little. "I don't think trying to be a tank would be very useful with me. I'm seriously way too small. That's why I am going DPS." She chuckled "I feel heavy armor would weigh me down way too much. I'm already clumsy enough." Her brows knitted together and she chewed on her bottom lip. "And to be honest. I know it sounds odd but I don't care about maxing out my stealth skill to hide really. Its just I need to see if it will help make me not a clumsy." She felt stupid to admit this but she figured if Domarus could handle her germ issue, he could handle her coordination issue. Its a miracle she hasn't died just from not being able to walk on a flat surface without falling.

She shrugged, "I chose one handed curved sword because I plan to use a khopesh, and with the way its shaped, it has the cutting power of an axe and the weight of a sword. The hook allows you to get around shields and trap opponents swords. In theory, it seemed to be my best bet. But only time will tell, I know I have other options if I need to have a plan B."

She moved around again, in search of more items. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I like to look for them, but its hard to not get discouraged when you don't find things." A nervous laugh escaped her. 'He probably thinks I was like twelve irl. I sound like a child. I don't even know how to talk to people anymore. I've secluded myself so much it seems.' She spent a lot of her time reading any and all information she could get her hands on so, she found solace in learning rather than being sociable.

She pulled at a small tangle of weeds revealing a small knot. When she brushed it off, she discovered a very dead, very old acorn. A shiver ran up her spine as she grimaced and then began to laugh.

  10. A short statured girl stood in front of the door, reading the sign. She wasn't sure if she should knock or just go in, but she figured Stryder knew she would be arriving soon. They had been in contact about her getting some new equipment, and seeing as she was now a new level, he could see that she was growing. Raeze set her shoulders back, not truly sure why she was so nervous, brushed her long dark blue ponytail off her shoulder and grabbed the door knob.

Turning the handle and opening the door, Raeze stepped into the square room and instantly felt relieved. The room was so, homey. The first thing she noticed, was the crackling fireplace off to the side with two chairs near it. The second and her favorite part of the shop was the gigantic ceiling that showed the starry sky. A bright smile crept onto her face as she allowed the door to close.

Then she noticed her friend working hard at his machine.

"Hey, stranger!" She laughed. She cocked her hip and rested her hands on each side. "Didja miss me?" She moved forward to the counter and rested her arms there. "I'm here on that cloak we joked about once upon a time, and a pair of gloves. I give you almost total creative freedom, Id just like the cloak to have a hood and be a dark color." She tried to hide how excited she was to have him make these items. She has wanted them for so long, and she finally had a friend to be able to do it.

Raeze brought up a trade window.

"Take your time, I'm in no hurry." Her smile stayed bright. "I know you'll do great!"

  11. Raeze looked at him as he explained how parties work. "Ahh, so that's why you said you were sure Id be fine. You can see certain information to make sure that happens." She looked ahead of her once more, being sure to watch where she was stepping. She wanted to make sure that she didn't trip over any roots or holes in the ground. However, she was most likely to trip, even on flat ground.  She was very grateful that Kayaba had implemented that. Even though she knew he didn't care how many people died, it seemed that he thought of ways to assist players in staying alive.

She watched the area around her. It seemed so real, many things did sometimes. She worried that she may spend years here and then this would become her reality. A small sigh escaped her lips, she had too much time to think while they were walking. These were thoughts that came up a lot, but she never really had anyone to ask or talk to about. So she jogged ahead and stopped at a small patch of thorns, slid her plain leather gloves on just so she didn't get dirty.

She returned to him not long after, once again empty handed. "I swear I'll atleast have A mat for you." She chuckled slightly looking down at the ground. She hoped he wasn't going to regret allowing her to come with him.

  12. As much as she really disliked people doing things to emphasize her short stature, she easily allowed him to pull her closer to him. She noticed the feeling of the entire forest being 'alive'. It creeped her out if she was honest with herself. Not that she would say it aloud.

"Huh?" She stopped short for a moment when the party invite popped up in front of her. She opened it and hit the accept circle. After she accepted a smaller health bar popped up under hers. She noticed it had Stryder's name attached. She looked up and saw that he hadn't stopped and she scrambled to catch up. "Stryder? Why does it show your health bar now too?" She looked up at him. She had never been in a party so this was new to her. 'Everything is new to me because Ive been to scared to venture out and we see where that's gotten me.' She mentally scolded herself.

Raeze scrambled off to the left toward a tree. She thought she might have seen a good spot for some materials, however when she returned to Stryder's side, she was empty handed. She wore a small scowl. 'By the end of this I better have more than one dang material.' she huffed slightly out of irritation at herself.

  13. Raeze turned her deep blue eyes toward Domarus, her head and upper body turning in the process. "Oh, I'm thinking damage per second. With putting emphasis on evasion instead of mitigation." She smiled hoping she was using proper terminology. "I also want to obtain and level up a stealth skill, along with the gathering skill." She has tried to do research on how she wants to grow within the game with the information that is out there. "Why do you ask?" she tilted her head in question as her eyebrows raised. She didn't mind to tell others her ideas, to see if anyone had some helpful suggestions on things that might work better.

Then she turned her body back around, her pony tail sliding over her shoulder. She flicked it back and scooted on her knees toward another bush near her. This one, with no thorns and seriously lacking leaves, looked to be maybe a mess up in the programming. She didn't see "dead" plants in the game.

Raeze groaned as she pulled her hands out empty. 'I really need something to help with this. I'm so lame' She dropped her head.

  14. Raeze nodded happily and accepted the mats passed to her. She tapped the items and selected the option to put into her bag. She felt bad that she had only gathered two materials to Anemone's 24. She smiled and allowed the young woman to help her up. "Thank you. Hopefully the next time we catch up, I'll be at least a few levels higher with some substantial gear." A hopeful grin spread across her face as her eyes lit up a little brighter. Raeze hugged Anemone and turned away to leave. "I really cant thank you enough, you know. You've done me a huge favor, and I hope someday to be able to repay you." She turned back to Anemone for a moment, hugged her again and then ran off. She was very excited to get some items made so maybe she would have better luck out in this death game. She slowed as she reached the village gates, having lost her new friend from sight. Hopefully she would soon be able to send a small present to her so the girl would remember her.

  15. Raeze narrowed her eyes at the boy, 'There he goes again, messing with my hair.' She looked up at him, his smile was contagious. So she looked toward the area that he had mentioned, "That's the maze? But its just a forest." She squinted to try to see farther in and noticed the shifting as well. This caused her smile to falter. As much as she didn't want to admit it, this quest terrified her. This will be her first and she worried about so many things that MIGHT happen. She dragged behind Stryder a bit nodding to him after he told her to tell him of any dangers incase he missed them. Right before the pair went into the maze, she shuffled closer to him so she would stay safe. "I think I will apologize early just in case I do something stupid or am the cause of something bad to happen." She giggled nervously, the waver peeking through.

    [ID: 86250 LD: 5 (+0MATS) TOTAL: 1MAT]

She reached for something that appeared to be glimmering in the sunlight on the trees, it could be another material. However when she grabbed the item and pulled it down to her, she saw that it was just some rotten berries. With a look of disgust, she threw them on the ground, hastily wiping her hands on her pants. 'That was terrible. And they smelled.' She wrinkled her nose.

[OOC: Hey, I'm so sorry this has taken so long! I thought I had replied, and went to check today. Turns out I didn't.] @Stryder

  16. Raeze nodded thoughtfully at his last statement. "You're right on that point." She looked back at her new spot of searching. It was a small grove of bushes some with thorns. Raze stuck her small leather glove covered hand into the branches and moved things around. A small yelp escaped her when a thorned branch swung out from her hand and struck her across the cheek. She jumped back and touched her cheek, then remembering that there would be no pain to follow, she shook her head and dove back onto the set of bushes. 'This game is so odd. And its hard to get over the instant reaction of waiting for the pain to come. I'm kind of glad though, or I would be hurting all of the time.' She chuckled to herself, the noise floating across the area. She sounded a little odd. Laughing without anything being said before hand.

'I think I'll need to get some gloves that have an enhancement after this, that sounds to be one of my best courses of action.' She nodded to herself. 'I just need to find someone willing to help me out from here.' Raeze looked over at Domarus. 'Maybe he will know a reputable crafter willing to work with me' She glanced down at her worn leather gloves. 'Hopefully not judge me for my odd tendencies.'

Raeze looked up at her friend. "That's okay. I understand getting a little lost within your own mind." She chuckled lightly. Her own mind having swayed too. She wondered if she would ever get to see her friend from the real world again. She didn't know if he was alive even, but she hoped. She walked around a little.

Next thing she knew, she was face first in the grass. "Ow!" she pushed her upper body up from the ground. "Oh, that was unexpected." She leaned back and got into a seated position on top of her knees. Rubbing her face, she brushed off a few blades of grass and some dirt crumbles. She turned her dark blue eyes upward and the bubbles of laughter began.  "HAHAHa, oh, I cant believe I'm so clumsy." She grabbed her stomach from the laughter. "Oh Ane, I'm so sorry." More laughter bubbled out of her. As she stood, Raeze brushed dirt off her clothes in a small cloud.

Raeze tried to stall her giggling as she admired the squashed patch of grass where she had fallen.

  18. She smiles brightly at the dragon. "Its okay to be proud sometimes. As long as you don't allow it to over take who you truly are." Her smile grew just a little. "You just gotta stick to your morals." She hit her closed hand into her open palm in determination. Then she turned around to begin searching for more materials. She sneaked a peek at the pair. Domarus had a darker air about him but Raeze didn't want to think that he was a bad person. 'Just maybe hes not as... hm.' she turned back to her searching, 'I'm not so sure he really cares as much about others as he portrays that he does.' Her brow furrows slightly. 'Why would he hide who he truly is?'

    [ID: 86103 LD: 5 (+0MATS) Total:10MATS]

With a sigh, she sat back on her heels and wiped a trail of sweat from her forehead. "Well no luck here. I really hope I can get some items eventually to help my precarious situation." A nervous bubble of laughter left her. "Maybe Ill get a little better at this."

    @Domarus

  19. Raeze stopped short when the invitation popped up in front of her as well. She looked back at the group. 'I'm not really that useful. Boars would probably just maul me.' She mused to herself. The only thing she felt she was good at so far, was partially gathering materials. Even though she didn't have any skill geared toward that or any items to help. She decided to make her way over to the group, still allowing the invitation to wait. "Hi, um, hello. Did anyone mean to send me a party invitation?" She looked around at the group of males. 'Oh great, they are all going to shun me because I'm the only female here.' She looked around nervously, not sure as what she should do. "I'm only level one. I'm not sure I would be much help against a bunch of angry boars." She didn't want to seem weak but she felt the need to ensure they know that she would probably be dead weight.

  20. Raeze nodded with some confidence. She might not be the best at gathering materials, but she was sure she would find something. Also he seemed rather happy she was willing to do something rather than be a bunch of dead weight. She began to wonder if he had to deal with some people like that before. "So in the quest information, it shows that we need to find a forest that works as a maze, is that correct?" She looks at him to confirm what she read in one of the manuals. She headed toward the nearest patch of trees, hoping that there would be a marker or notification once they hit their intended area.

This would be her first ever quest and she really didn't know how things were supposed to work. She was sure she didn't want to wander around aimlessly however. She looked to her companion who seemed to know a little more than her.

She noticed something glittering in the roots of one of the trees on the outlying edge of the patch of trees. Raeze bent down to investigate after sliding on a basic pair of leather gloves. She righted herself after pulling out a small, healthy vine.

"Stryder! I have one so far!" She popped up to show him. She then placed the item in her pouch, she would divvy material up at the end of their quest.

    [ID: 86001  LD: 16 (+1MAT) TOTAL: 1MAT]

  21. Raeze nodded, an even more solid idea forming in her head. She would keep her thoughts mostly to herself however, so as to surprise Ane when she had the idea completed. "I think a bracelet would be a wonderful item to wear." Her dark blue eyes twinkled with some mischief and happiness. "I think it would be fun to just go out and shop and have a girl's day." She meant exactly what she was saying. She was really feeling closer with this woman and couldn't be happier to have a real friend.

She marveled at the item that her friend had pulled out. The slight sparkle it gave off was new to Raeze so she moved to inspect the item closer. "Why is it sparkling like this? Is it just your ability or is it special?" Raeze turned her head up to her friend, the confusion showing clearly on her face.

    @Anemone

  22. Raeze looked deeply into the dragon's eyes, glinting as if they were made of rubies. She slowly reached her other hand up in motion to 'pet' his scales. They were mesmerizing to her and she very much wanted to feel them. "You are magnificent!" Raeze exclaimed brightly to the dragon keeping balance on her arm. She allowed Rhozarth to fly off if he wished, she wouldn't keep him against his will. 'Ive never had an animal allow me to be this close to them for this long. It's like he's made of fire and jewels. Hes beautiful. But I don't think he would take kindly to being called beautiful.'

"Domarus? How long have you had Rhozarth?" Her deep blue eyes turned to the male. "You both look a lot alike if you think about it. Your red hair and his red. . . well everything." She giggled softly. Raeze shifted the weight from her right hip, to her left shuffling her feet a little.

Raeze nodded toward the items when Domarus tossed them toward her. Acknowledging them and noting a thanks in his direction.

  23. Raeze peeked up at the boy. She wasn't quite sure how she felt going on a quest with a boy. Seeing as she knew he was doing her a huge favor. Making it to where she would gain experience and sp, while he would be doing all of the work. He seemed so sure she wouldn't be a problem that she almost stopped worrying. However, she wouldn't allow herself to be useless, she vowed to herself. 'I'll make sure I'm constantly on the look out for materials and ill split whatever I find with him so I'm not the dead weight that I'm surely going to end up being.'

She couldn't help but worry. What if she got them both killed. Raeze began to chew on her bottom lip without noticing. Then she spoke to Stryder, "I promise I wont be useless. I want to try to find some materials for us to split once were done. Because even though you're a pretty good level, materials are always useful." She smiles, still partially chewing on her lip, a sign of anxiety she had had even before entering the game.

"Whelp, I guess I'm as ready as Ill ever be." A genuine smile appeared again. "Lets go try not to get ourselves killed." She joked, hoping she wouldn't bring down his brightness.

    @Stryder

  24. A small, dark blue haired player was seated just outside the Town of Beginning's outer wall. She was nestled underneath a large full tree, shading her from the sun's rays. She had her back arched as she hunched over and had her nose stuck a rather thick manual. She had a free day so was going through one of the free user guides that had been given out around the town.

The small girl folded the corner of the page that she was currently on and closed the book, setting it down in the grass. Righting her body, she placed her hands on her waist and curled her back outward in an attempt to work out the ache that had knotted itself into her lower spine. As she began twisting her upper body back and forth, trying to coerce it to pop she noticed a group of people a few feet away conversing among themselves. She smiled, happy that others seemed to be enjoying their day. When she heard a groan from one person and heard a few comments of boars and danger.

Furrowing her brows, she picked up her manual and put it away into her pouch. She stood, allowing herself to stretch a little before cautiously moving toward the group. She made sure to stay right up next to the was to ensure she was out of the aggro radius of anything. Once she got closer she noticed that two of the group were NPCs, and injured.

She tried to skirt around the group, hoping to go unnoticed. As much as she might, she wasn't strong enough to help. Even if they let her tag along, she would probably get killed in the process. 'Even if I manage to stay alive, I would just be dead weight anyway.' She sighed as she kept herself from saying anything to the group.

  25. The bright smile that had appeared seemed to grow even brighter. As much as she loved the help, there really was nothing better than gaining a friendship and accomplishing something yourself. "And I am ever indebted to you for helping me, but yes. It is so wonderful to be able to find something myself." She looked at the red gem once more, then proceeded to slide it into the pouch on her waist.

Raeze looked at her friend, "If you wore jewelry, what would you be more willing to wear? Earrings, a necklace, a bracelet, or a ring?" She knew it must seem like such an odd question, but I would help her with her idea. She wanted to have a crafter make a set of items to symbolize their new found friendship. In the real world she always saw girls wearing those bff necklaces or matching bracelets. She kind of envied them and hoped she could find something that Ane would like and wear.

"Sorry if it seems weird." She bent down in a small patch of flowers and searched through the patch. Another bright smile crept onto her features when she pulled her gloved hand out of the small patch. Out she held a small bright green vine. "Oh look! Something else! How cool!" After letting her friend check it out, Raeze slipped it into her pouch with the rest of her materials.
