Reinka ran at the wasp and punched it some more. She wondered why she wasn't having too much luck this time around. She was getting tired there wasn't much else she could do after going all out the mob should almost be at half of it's hp which meant she had a higher chance of winning this fight with it. She saw it flutter and started to dance again but this time she was knocked down and was pressed into the ground from the strong winds. She slowly sat up holding her arm. She looked up at the damaged insect.

Her aura around her hands fizzled again before she could get another hit off. Both Savvy and Keen couldn't help her here for some reason. She assumed it had a system like DnD, if a one is rolled it was a fail no matter what. She growled as her punch was no where near the target. She'd kill for a natural twenty right about now. She laughed at how similar to the game it was. She then saw the wasp flap and flutter it's wings. She quickly spun flaring up her skirts as she opened up her arms the attack missing her completely as she danced through the blades of wind.

Reinka bowed and was ready to give her attack another go.

Reinka ran after it this time her fists stated ignited in an light blue aura. She used her momentum to strike the wind wasps back and when it turned to face her she gave it a quick punch to the head and another to it's stomach. The wasp flew at her and she jumped to the side. When she landed she rolled on the ground and was in a knelt possition. She watched how the wind wasp swayed and got up to charge it once more.
"I will win, I can't afford to lose to you!" she shouted

Reinka was about to activate her aggressive twin art once more. There was a blue aura and then it fizzled out. She ran at the wasp and felt there was too much momentum as she took a dive and fell. She rolled her body on the ground and saw the wasp coming towards her. She tucked her legs up towards her stomach and rolled on her back, then with a quick motion rolled towards her feet and propelled herself to stand back up onto her feet. She did a light bounce and went the wind wasp dove at her she flicked her coat up and it flew through the dress skirts of her pirate dress and flew past her.
She reactivated aggressive twins running after the wind wasp.
"I won't back down, I will hit you with this you dastard!" she shouted at the top of her lungs getting ready for her attack.

  5. Reinka walked in looking around for a merchant. She went up to the counter and placed down a plate that had some food on it. She looked down at it then looked at the princes, she checked the item for a little bit to figure out the information he needed.
"Excuse me I found this item and it just shows up as ??? for me. Could you help me out please?" she asked pulling col out to pay.

Reinka's hands turned blue as she knew she'd use her sword art. There was such a low chance of missing that she was willing to risk it. She punched the wasp twice striking it hard in the abdomen area. Her aggressive twins activating as it looked like a flurry of consecutive punches. She did a pivot turn and was at the wind wasps side still letting her punches fly. Reinka then rolled under the wasp and punched it some more. The wasp was getting pretty ticked off at her and reared back and flew upwards, the enemy zoomed down towards the ground and Reinka jumped up towards the monster and placed her foot on it's head and leapt up turning back to face the wasp with a determined look on her face. "Not today I'm afraid." she gave the wasp a cheeky smile as she was out of range of it for now.

  7. "Hm? Occult is always easier to watch." She admitted. "I'm not good with jump scares or suspense to be honest, unless it's in theater instead. Theater does a much better job of showing off screen death, or cruelty." she explained. "I perfer that over gore. Gore is just there for shock value and nothing more, after awhile you just go yup they're dying or being beaten to death not sure I care by this point as usually they just escape or something. While in theater deaths usually occure off screen and there's a scream of pain, or a shadow of their death or noose in the background. It's telegraphed in some way and it always seemed more....Estheticly pleasing. Yes brutality can be done in good taste kind of. Though I'm still not a fan of it." she tried to explain.

She watched him drink from his cup and took the straw out. She didn't usually use straws anyway. She blew lightly on the hot coco and tried again. This time adding a cube of sugar and drinking it. She wasn't sure she liked it. Her brain was conditioned not to have it normally.

"I think my senses are through off from lack of eating and well....I don't usually let myself drink this sort of thing." She admitted.

She smiled happily. "I would love to follow you. Though after eating I wouldn't mind going to sleep. I'm a bit mentally tired from the fighting today, that and well....Sleeping in a soft bed for once might actually be nice. If that's okay, or are you wide awake?"

  8. "Hehe, your fate is sealed." She joked. "Huh you're the one who calls me a princess. I'm not a princess!" She got quiet feeling eyes on her when she said that too loudly. "Okay...." she gave a light sigh. "Hm, like a fluffy kitsune or a cute black sheep....Hm....I dunno I still really like krakkens but I guess I could find a fluffy cute pet." She felt conflicted but rolled with the idea.

"Where would you find it? In a harbor at midnight on a Friday that lands on an odd numbered day." She explained. "There will be ghost fish and the like floating about as mobs, as well as small cute krakkens." She seemed to genuinely like them. "Maybe some Shui gui guarding the area as well as the ghost ship never came to shore but is allowed to by some higher power for one night to haunt one of the forests." She felt a bit embarassed. "Ha....Nevermind." She waved her hand in front of herself. "Ignore me."

She sipped at the drink. It reminded her more of tea but through a straw? Maybe her sense of taste was off.

"Is it bitter to you?" she asked feeling really stupid. "Um, yes I want to go and help you fight off the monsters. I'll do my best to help you." she smiled happily.

  9. She laughed happily hearing that he'd make fun of her. "Sometimes that's pretty good medicine actually. Either you'll end up picking yourself up to fix the issue, or you look back on the stupid thing you did and can laugh at it letting it go quickly. Heh, I bet I don't have to explain it to a guy like you." She smiled at him. "You get that kind of thing I bet."

She tilted her head listening about do you copy.

"I haven't heard of that one. I'll look it up later." She opened up her menu and put the name of the game into a note file. "Hm what games do I like. Well I like modding skyrim still ha, fan games for pokemon not actually pokemon as much anymore just the retro things, some indie things. I really liked Tale of two brothers, even if it made me cry a bit like a baby. Still the story telling was on par. Which is why I like final fantasy games, and anything Atlus ever made." She admitted. "They're more what I use to escape reality." She replied.

"A scare mechanic huh? I guess if you can figure out how to paralyze something with your voice or something. Maybe? Like a shout in Skyrim or something." she rubbed the back of her neck trying to think about it.

"I guess I don't play horror outside of resident evil and silent hill. I like the mental part of silent hill with special James as I call him, you know he got a letter from his dead wife. Way to go James....The dog ending in that one, the creators were asked what ending is canon and they said it should be that one. I love how trolly they are sometimes." She snickered. "I'm not so good with jump scares. It's not the random image that gets me it's usually the scream. FOr this reason I hate suspense music, but in theater I love it you know? For that reason I love Bioshock 1 and 2 with it's shadow deaths ect." She kissed her own hand. "Perfecto." she said happily. "I usually use games to get into character or better yet escape. That's how I got stuck here. I wanted an escape from life just to be another character, and now I'm literally living it. It's serile but....There's something nice about it....Hey after all this garbage, I'll follow you and if you do horror game lets plays I"ll watch you because you might make me laugh enough to enjoy it." She laughed happily and started to look around the ground again.

  10. She nodded.
"Performer seemed pretty good but it it takes a lot to use a crystal in battle, I can't afford to waste that turn I guess. That and it didn't work like how I would like it to work. I dance, and act. For you it'd work as it's more musically based, but even though I could learn that's not what drew me to preforming. I like acting, so I can see why it's harder for you." She tapped her lip again looking up in thought than looking back at him. "Cooking sounds fun as does blacksmithing, but you'll figure it out one day." She smiled happily.

"Maybe she'd show me all the cute shops in Japan. Even though I'm more a pants person, given the right audience anything goes." she smiled happily. "And being around someone younger who might like fashion would really get me into try everything on mode. It'd be fun." She smiled happily.

She tapped her lip again out of habit thinking about it. Then nodded. "Healing might be a good idea, that way I can heal myself with my pet while tossing a crystal at a hurt alley and attack." She thought about loud. "I'd say a ghost kraken small and sweet. Though I'm thinking maybe a kitsune, or cat of some sort to go with my witch apothecary theme." She explained. "What do you think?"

"Hm level ten? After our battle I could help you! When are you going? I want to go with you." She told him getting fired up. "You won't be let down for relying on me. I promise." she thought about the hard fight.

"Hey Steel I have a question actually....Why didn't you use your fists?"

  11. Reinka watched it's movements and started to jump around. "You know you really don't float like a butterfly, heck you're not even trying to sting, what's your deal? Would that instant kill you?" She asked bouncing from one leg to the other. "Oh well here I go!" She rush forwards and high jumped onto a tree then onto another tree, she was lucky they were close together in the dense forest area. "I found your pattern!" She let her body fall as she elbowed the wasp on the head. When she rolled off the insect it posed it's stinger. It lunged at her trying to stab her but Reinka started to dance around it as it tried to hit her. Her arms were out then flapped down to throw it off forcing it to look at all the movement to miss her body completely. She paused in a defensive stance. "Hmph, lets see if you remember this one." She knew she wanted to try her sword art again.

  12. "Hm, still there's probably a placebo effect on people who might not have had a drink who don't know any better maybe. Actually that'd be kind of hillarious to see someone stagger around thinking they're drunk but aren't. "Oh you're starting up a guild then good luck. I keep hearing about people wanting to start but haven't done it. I wonder if there's enough people who aren't in a guild around for everyone who wants to start a guild to start one." she wasn't sure. "Mhm, the guild would probably adore you for that one. Pity I wouldn't get that deal still cool though. Hm why not by the first drink for the price for two and the second one half off. See who catches on when they ask for the VIP Drinks. You know Very Idiotic Person Drink." she realized at the moment she was using her mirror technique. "Actually don't do that it's not moral, and they might get roudy." she felt bad for even bringing it up.

She kept looking around again feeling a bit like an idiot now.

  13. Reinka hit her fists together and ran at the wind wasp her fists a brilliant blue. She punched the was in the abdomen and then hooked her arm to punch it in it's face. She kicked it away from herself the kick didn't do any damage but she felt have some distance would be a good thing. Her ears twitched hearing the flutter of the wasp's wings.the noise became a higher pitch as razor like wind sliced towards Reinka but she quickly dodged the attack with cutting her gorgeous red pirate outfit. "Hmph, not today little guy." She looked at it's health. "Geez barely a dent huh? Well I won't give up! You'll just have to stay down next time." She said with ferocity. She focused on her enemy and was ready to strike it again and again if she had to, she only hoped it would go down sooner rather than later.

Reinka was walking through the town of beginnings and paused seeing that the quest board had some traffic. She walked over to it.
"Hey what's going on?" she asked.
"Some lowbies over did it and summoned a stupid field boss."
    "What? How?"
"They killed a bunch of wind wasps for stinger powder."
"Hm what's stinger powder?" Reinka asked.
"It was believed it could increase the damage on a weapon for a short period of time, in the real world this would be called nugui powder. They lost count to how many they killed, not only did they not get any decent stingers to use for the powder but the system counted up the wind wasp deaths and summoned a Wind Wasp Queen that killed a member of the party."

Reinka gasped and looked at the notice board shocked.

"People aren't sure what to do about it, or if it's even still over there, but thanks to that a lot of traveling has stopped in this area."
"Hm, it might be tough but I think I'm going to try and stop that thing."

Reinka was sitting in front of a campfire warming up in the forest. That's when Reinka heard some buzzing. She sat up and saw a wind wasp the size of her heard flying towards her.
"You think the fire would deter these stupid things." She got up and went behind a tree. She waited for the wasp and rounded the tree. Her necklace made a bright glow as it seemed to guide her fist to the enemy that walked into her path.,

  15. "Oh running, that's a good way to stay in shape without turning into a hulking mass of muscle. When I see people like that I try not to judge but it just looks off to me. You know, it's like there is a thing as being too healthy." She stated thinking about body builders. "Mine too, but that's my own fault for just sitting around depressed, it didn't get me anywhere when this place is gorgeous you know. I'm just glad I didn't so anything stupid." She sighed it could have been a bad time for her.
"Huh I do? I would think I'm too much of a goody goody but all right I'll take it as a compliment. She smiled happily. Oh, you said you wanted to be a cook, is that a hobby, did you ever pick up brewery? If you do go that route don't forget to call me, I'll buy a strong one, I like taquilla okay. Oh, hey, would you run a comedy club or something? I don't think anyone has started an open mic night, maybe something for songs but not stand up comedy. "Um the game censored you just now. Did you say sock a duck?" she asked as she snickered trying to find more materials. "Poor duck...."

    ID# 97621 results: 7

  16. "Oh, that's right you have decided on a profession yet. There's a lot of choices you can take I guess." She placed her index finger on her lips tapping them lightly as she thought about it. She wondered what brought on the idea of being a cook and not a blacksmith, but either way she'd be happy with what he'd choose both sounded very important and useful. "Cooking sounds like a lot of work, it's not like the items are food like we're use to. I've been researching mushrooms, herbs, and a lot of things in this world and it's very different from what I"m use to, but that makes it more exciting." She admitted. "So what are your favorite dishes?"

"Oh she sounds so sweet." She smiled happily hearing about Steel's sister. "I'm an only child myself so I get jealous of siblings sometimes. It must be nice having a brother or sister around. I think if I ever get the pleasure of meeting her we'll go on a shopping spree." She said happily. "Wow, you think so? It'd be fun to see a face off between you two I bet." Reinka felt that Steel's sister would be an absolute treasure to be around, and that was saying something from a pirate.

"Then I'll just have to do my best to be a lady." She smiled happily having fun in the conversation. "I think I might to treasure hunting again soon. My necklace for hunting has been completed. Still fighting mimics seems pretty hard to do if you're by yourself, but I wouldn't mind giving it a try anyway." she was more confident. "Do you want me to invite you next time I go for a treasure hunt run? I was also thinking to doing the feeding the enemy quest to increase my mitigation but I'm not sure it'd be worth it at higher levels or if look for a pet that would heal me instead. What do you think?"

  17. "Ah, I see that's a shame, but it'd be embarrassing too I guess if every personal moment you had was televised I guess. " She listened to him. "Hm, you find it all boring huh? What sorts of hobbies do you have?" she asked curiously and then looked up to see what he was looking at. "It is nice isn't it. I often thought about that too now that I'm not sleeping in an alleyway. I just got busy living in this world and I almost forget about the other world. I want to live in this one." She admitted. "Actually live. Without someone holding me back. It's a nice fresh start." She looked back to Outlander. "So what sorts of things do you think you'd enjoy in this place? I treasure hunt but it can be dangerous. The longer I fight things here the more of an adrenaline junkie I become, it's probably not healthy, so thanks for making me look at the beauty of this place again." she visually relaxed more as she looked around the ground

  18. Her eyes widened a bit. She was surprised that he figured out who she was. In her own mind she wasn't too famous, but it was nice that someone knew who she was. She relaxed listening to him talk and nodded when he talked about being a streamer. She tapped her lips for a moment and then looked at him wondering something based off what he said.

"Did you start a stream before you came into SAO?" she asked curiously. "I mean, if you did, you might be live streaming right now." She pointed out wondering if that meant people could say hello but not receive any chats back.

She thought about what he said and remembered when she felt that way. She looked up at him and watched him for a moment realizing he must be depressed, or still grieving over someone already.

"I use to think that way, but if this is my reality I'd rather make nice with people and get more of a support group. After all it's no fun sleeping in the middle of town when it's raining. "I use to just be a lump on the ground sleeping every day and it was pretty pathetic." She explained. "So plus one friend, don't worry too much about me though, I tend not to go out on the field unless I'm prepared and have trustworthy back up. So if you ever need something out on the field and don't want to leave to do so just let me handle it for you." she said bravely. "No need for money up front in this kind of game so don't worry about payment, I mean it's not like I have anything to do most days." She sighed annoyed at how boring her days get at times.

She kept searching the ground for materials

  19. She felt her heart break a little bit hearing that. She wondered if there would be players who might figure out a way to make the food she wanted to try. Then again she wondered if that's why she was able to get a pirate outfit. Was it because the game allowed it and had it already or was it because of the player base. She looked at her gauntlets and everything else. It was hard to want to be normal when she was more of a 'killer' now. What about the mundane tasks. Sure the game let you do a lot of things at the click of a menu screen but could there be a long way or a way to make living in a home feel like living in a home?

"Hm, what's the age difference, is a lot younger?" she asked curiously. It sounded kind of cute the idea of a strong tank like character having an innocent sister or was she more like her brother and a strong young girl. "Is she like you or maybe girly?" then again Steel was a gentleman. "Thanks for getting my chair by the way." She smiled a bit and then curled her hair with her index finger then stopped finding that habit telling and silly.

  20. She tried to think of what foods she's never tried. She actually didn't get to partake too much in most foods, and she was pretty hungry from all the fighting. Maybe that was why she didn't notice her starvation. One she hadn't done anything about it when she first was trapped in the game, and two she didn't actually fight anything until recently as well.

"Hm, could we have something really sweet?" she asked him curiously. "There's plenty of dishes I've never had in the real world that I was curious about. Mostly sweets." She said embarrassed. "Maybe a hot coco drink?" she asked him unsure. "What kind of sweets do you like. I'd like to try something you like just to see. I didn't get to really enjoy to many Japanese dishes. I had sushi and this salad in a wrap ind of thing. It looked like a bouquet somehow but it was all salad it was kinda nice." She wondered what daifuku tasted like but wasn't sure how to pronounce it correctly.

"Ha, I don't want to gorge myself either."

  21. "Yes it something like that. Luck is a balance to things, but it can work against you if you tell it to. Like saying I have bad luck. So then you really do because you missed the good part." she tried to explain. "So yeah you got it. Break a leg then." She gave him the thumbs up and looked at handed Lyle what he requested. "Sorry that took so long Lyle we ran into some unexpected trouble." She laughed nervously feeling rather bad it took them as along as it did.

"Oh I see that's all right. I'll be giving you an item you can only use in the next quest so please don't be alarmed." He smiled politely.

"Oh." She looked back over to Steel a little surprised at that statement. "I guess I'll take the armor then with Heavy as it's mitigation slot then That way I can sell it later I guess."
"Oh found something stronger already?" Lyle asked.
"Well I may have over prepared." Reinka patted Steel on the back. "I had him with me and lets just say I got this done a lot smoother than I could hope to do it alone."
"Oh that's good! There's nothing like comradely is there?"
"You got it." she looked to Steel again. "Food after this?"

  22. She followed him and looked over at him. She thought about how she trained her luck. The more she tried to remember how it was originally the worse it was. She would have bullies, and didn't really do extraordinary at anything. She went against the grain yes, but that kept her very isolated and away from people in general. While in SAO she slept in the cold or the rain and yet.

"You can't dwell on the bad parts.Like when the boar missed you. Maybe you missed the boar to be in the right position for it to miss you. So when you have bad luck look around and what the balance of it was. People always dwell on the bad, and then become unlucky but that's not how luck works. It's just a misconception." She rubbed the back of her head and walked to Lyle's shop. "So if you're more positive it might turn the luck around. I got this way from a common phrase on stage. Break a leg. If a person actually broke their leg on stage it'd be pretty bad. There's also the superstition that wishing a person good luck is enough to ruin them. Because their brain turns it into the interpenetration of having added pressure." She placed her index finger on her lip. "So the only way to fix qoute bad luck is to shock the brain to produce an even more random luck. Given that you missed twice already your chances logically don't change. It should be a fifty fifty reset chance every time you attack if you don't have bonuses on your weapons, but would that be true? If it's all numbers then one could argue it works like the lottery. You never see the numbers repeat and say you have to pick four numbers you will always pick two low numbers and two high numbers. Example one through forty is what you can pick. Two numbers will be below twenty and the other two will be above forty this gives you a better chance. It's hard to explain but luck is in the mind. If you're having a good time even during the quote bad luck then you won't notice it there and see more of the good luck." She thought more. "I wish I had an example."

  23. She smiled happily at him holding her hands together. "You better have believed in yourself though, otherwise you likely just used up my luck only. So, I guess, your luck is a muscle, you have to work it?" she wasn't sure how to explain that. She thought about it. "Well I guess we head back, or are you going to trip over a mimic again?" she asked honestly hoping that wouldn't happen. Even though she didn't take any damage it caused her to be more aggressive and she knew it. "I think I've had enough fighting for one day." She stretched for a bit."I don't think it's healthy just fight nonstop." She looked at him again. "We'll have to work on your luck, you have to use it and not only see the faults I think." She started to walk back with him.
