  1. She was toying with her scarf, about to start ranting again, “seriously, how long does it take to rest-“ she was cut off when Pick jumped right in front of her. Flinching for a couple seconds, she finally regained her stature before flicking him in the forehead. “Jesus Christ! You scared the hell out of me. The heck?!” She huffed, looking up at him. “It doesn’t look dry,” she commented, peering over his shoulder. It’s pouring out. “You didn’t have to do that. I can handle a bit of wind and rain.”

    She gave a nervous cough and fiddled with her hair. “N-no actually. I honestly don’t think I’ve been around here before. I just go to this town to shop or for quests..” she trailed off and sighed. “What makes me happy?” She but her lip, thinking to herself, “I used to read a lot. That was okay I guess, I.. didn’t have much growing up.” Idiot, you could’ve had a lot of things if he didn’t spend it on booze, her conscious told her. Shaking it off, she peered up at him. “What made you happy?”

  2. “I’m only here for the competition, I was too lazy to do anything else,” she said crossly, taking a long sip of her drink. “Party animal?” She almost choked on her lemonade. “... actually, I don’t expect much. I can imagine you going to college frat parties or something,” she joked, rolling her eyes. “But, I hope you didn’t go to parties like that.”

    ”Business man? You sound serious,” she mumbled, “actually, you sound like a diva. Nevermind I guess. You aren’t going to complete the game by dressing up, you know that right?” Her lips morphed into a small frown. “And why would you blow that much cash on this? You’re an idiot,” she flicked his forehead and sighed, shaking her head. “You have money problems I guess.”

    ”Hey, it’s hot okay?” She exclaimed, feinting hurt, “besides, I’m not coming to a stupid beach with a scarf,” she said in a ‘duh’ tone.

    @Pick

  3. Looking up at the familair face, she sighed. It’s better to know someone here than to talk to anyone new I guess. “Hey.. And sure” she shrugged, taking the glass. “I guess, this is probably one of the only parties I’ve ever been to,” she admitted, swirling her cup in a circular motion. “What are you doing here anyways?”

    Looking him and up and down, she surprised a snort. “What are you wearing? You do know this is a beach right?” She pointed out, shaking her head. “If you ask me, it’s way too hot here. I don’t get how people live like this everyday in the real world,” She grumbled, covering her eyes.  “Too bright. Did you live like this in the real world? You look like you don’t mind the heat,” she removed her hands and looked at his attire again. “You look like you’re going to some sort of wedding or something,” she chuckled, shrugging. “But whatever, you do you.”

  4. “Be patient,” she hissed, gripping her spear. She pulled her scarf closer and sighed. “Get ready Orias,” she mumbled, pulling her familiars accessory off. “No, I was probably too weak to kill a Boar back in the real world,” she said blankly, “my.. father never let me touch any weapons either.” He didn’t let me touch anything. “Fights huh.. I minded my own business at school, but I still ended up here somehow,” she sighed.

    ”Yes, please go think about your ice cream.” Rolling her eyes, she scanned the area, there. “Yup.. it is.” She watched him run off like a child. “Kill it yourself. I need to kill my own,” she huffed, finding another one.

    Spotting one, she dashed off, aiming her spear precisely. As she got closer, she lurched at it. Impaling it deeply before jumping back. Shoot, that was so close. It’s almost dead. She was too lost in thought to realize that it was charging right at her. With no time react, it head butted her directly in the stomach. Skidding back, she gave a tired smirk. “Oh c’mon, that was nothing.”

  5. She looked at the sign blankly and sighed, “it’s okay, I don’t expect much anyways.” Banging her head against the wall, she groaned, “I’m not going to be able to wait half an hour. Are you sure there’s nowhere else to go?” She glanced at him and frowned. “There has to be other shops here anyways,” she pointed out. Or better, I can just leave right now. He’s lucky I’m a woman of my word.

    She scowled at him, “I’m not a pessimist, I’m a realist. Some people can’t understand that we’re in a death game,” she mumbled. “They’re acting as if this is some stupid vacation that they all deserve.” She turned to him, “stabbing things doesn’t make my completely happy, it’s more like a stress reliever. There’s a bunch of things that makes me happy,” the player shook her head and sighed, “I don’t think I can get them in this world anyways.”

  6. Asakku made her way to the beach with a hard sigh. I hope this competition thing is gonna have good prizes. I’m in need of some Col at the moment, she pointed out to herself, rubbing her shoulders. Oh wait, I didn’t think this through. It’s at a beach. And when there’s a beach, there’s water. And when there’s water.. there’s.. she shook her head. No. He’s not here, he’s not gonna do anything to you. She told herself with a determined face.

    Arriving at the beach with a red tank top and light blue shorts, as well as a pointed look, she sighed, falling back into a sitting position. It’s too bright out.. she groaned, covering her face from the heated light. I think I might regret this already. “What did I get myself into?” she muttered.

  7. “You’re lucky I was in a better mood than I usually am, or you’d be dead too,” she huffed, crossing her arms. “What is she anyways, your ex or something?” She tilted frown, but shrugged it off. “Whatever. I don’t want to end up in your giant flashback.”

    She gave the sky a harsh glare, imagining it falling into a million pieces. “I was having a good day Kayaba. A good day! Then you had to unleash hell upon me with this crap!” Her hands tugged on her hair as she rambled to herself, not caring about the rain that’s soaking her body. “Now I have to go on a date with a random guy I just met. Thank you Kayaba! Just. Thank. You!” Pulling on he two ends of her scarf, she imagined choking herself. What if you do stop breathing in here. Would you die too? The ravenette thought randomly, forgetting about the stress of the moment for a heartbeat. Looking up at her new introduced ‘buddy’, she frowned, “sure,” she slapped his hand away and sighed. How did I end up in this mess..?

    @Pick

  8. “I don’t know, an ice cream shop?” She said in a ‘duh’ tone, rolling her eyes. She gave a crooked frown, “I don’t even know how old you are, and even if I did, I would care,” she pointed out, motioning for her familair to follow her, who was as quiet as a mouse this whole time. “Yeah,” she mused, “you did promise.” She rolled her eyes again, “mistress of death, huh?” She sighed, “you’re weird.”

    Stopping at the entrance of town, she turned back at him with a creepy grin, “are you ready? This is gonna be so fun..” she rubbed her hands together and sighed. “Whelp, get ready. They should be spawning soon. “You focus your own boat while I focus mine, capiche?” She stoke a glance at him before opening up her inventory and taking her spear. It’s been a while buddy.

    ”When you see one, just go after it. I’ll find the next one. Shout when you killed three.”

    @Dustin

  9. “Profession, uh.. you don’t hear that every day I suppose. But gathering materials is way more boring than say, hunting? Hunting might not be the best way but it’s certainly more fun,” she breathed, “boredom makes me want to kill something,” she rolled her eyes and sighed. Following his gaze to the sky, she gave a sigh of relief. Praise Kayaba he didn’t make this floor rain continuously. Turning back to him with a creepy but genuine grin. “Yup, yup, I love doing it,” she emphasized. “Well, I guess people are lucky I haven’t started doing it to people yet,” she chuckled. “A lot less menacing?” She squinted st him, “You haven’t seen me fight, how are you supposed to know?” She huffed.

    ”You better go find that gem then, I don’t see it anywhere here,” she mumbled, tugging her scarf closer to her face. “And just so you know, I’m not be-“ she cut herself off when she felt something wet touch her forehead. Oh crud.

  10. [ OOC : I’m underlining Kyles text now ]

    ”Oh, she turned to Dustin. Darn it, why did I have to run into you,” she pace palmed herself, letting out an agonizing groan, “yes, I didn’t want to come here. But this quest gives good experience,” she mumbled, looking over st Kyle who was watching the conversation with an amused conversation. “Just give the quest and this’ll be over,” she whined,

    ”Yup, sure. There you go,” he chuckled, walking off to whatever he was doing.

    Turning back to @Dustin, she sighed, “sure. You can tag along or whatever, and you’re lucky I’m happy to finally kill some things today,” she said through gritted teeth, poking him in the chest. Motioning for him to follow, she walked out of the store with a frown upon her face. Of all people, it had to be this guy. Glancing behind her shoulders, she gave him a hard glare. “And I am expecting that ice cream.”

  11. She narrowed her eyes at him, "I'm not sticking around you, you're my only source of entertainment at the moment," she sighed, rolling her eyes."Well, I'm bored, duh." She knew that if she didn't get out of here soon, she would really start revealing everything, "and that is what I will do, walk off!" she declared getting out of her seat. "I don't need help," she looked down at him with a steely gaze. "If I die, thats my problem," she hissed coldly, "but who knows, maybe I can use you later on," she winked, accepting his request and started walking off. Giving him a back wave, she called, "don't worry. Next time I'll see you I'll try to die!" Glad that thats over with, Jesus Christ he was annoying. Why can't I meet anyone who's like me in here, I swear.. I'm not the only kind of person here. I need a change of people, the nice ones are so boring!

  12. "Pouting? I'm not pouting!" she exclaimed, shaking her head and pushing his hand off. "Gee thanks, what a great person you are," she scoffed, rolling her eyes. Chivalry at its finest am I right? She sighed,crossing her arms, "I don't know, stop asking." Rolling her eyes, she sat next to him with a crossed look. "No, no I don't." Jumping at his sudden burst, "secret plan?" she narrowed her eyes at him and shrugged. "Yes, I can see," she said sarcastically. Standing up and brushing herself off, she gave a wave. "Bye, it's been a pleasure being with you," she lied, walking off. "Don't try to find me by the way!" she called, shoving her hands into her pockets. Well that was something, he's annoying though. He said he isn't the talkative one but I don't think I can vouch for that. She shook her head, whatever, I'm probably never going to see him again.

  13. “A sundae? I thought you were broke,” she teased, shaking her head. Following him out, shrugged, “I dunno. I forgot where it was a long time ago,” she sniggered, tightening her scarf. It’s better than being out in the forest, Jesus that was horrible, she shook her hands and shuddered.

    ”Really? I only go to this town for quests, I hate it here,” she mumbled, sparing him an eye roll, “seriously? Dude, how are you going to survive if you have no money, no new weapons, and not armor? I would lend you some Col.. but nah,” she shrugged. “That’s a bad id-“ she narrowed her eyes at him, “what do you mean little legs you giant?! I would happily leave right now!” She punched him harshly in the chest and huffed. “Whatever, it’s only been a day,” She grumbled, crossing her arms like a child on a tantrum. Stupid tall people! Ugh.

    @Dustin

  14. She groaned, sitting back into her chair. “Story time, yay!” She mimicked a voice of a small child and folded her arms together. Clapping her hands together, she nodded her head, “yes, yes. Only beer bottles, I wish I had it that easy,” she mumbled, rolling her eyes. Her eyes got cold as she started talking again, “I have a whole list!” She grinned with no emotion, “let’s see.. tsk, tsk.” She bit her lip, “okay, so.. beer bottles, got that. Dunking my head into a bucket of water, thats why I can hold my breath so long hehe..” she held up two fingers, “That’s two. Uh, beat me. Basic one that is,” she held up another finger, “Pull my hair,” she held another one up, “literally put me into an empty room for two days,” she started going to her other hand, “Quote on quote, forgetting to feed me,” she looked back at him and quirked a brow, “you get the gist of it.”

    ”I don’t get along with people, trying to care about someone would be a miracle,” she scoffed, rolling her eyes.

    @Hazado

  15. Crossing her arms, she gave a small hug, “darn right I don’t. You can do whatever you want, just don’t drag me into it.” Rolling her eyes at him, she shook her head, “it’s not stress or whatever, just a fear of it. No problem,” she said, frowning at his smile. “But thanks for the compliment,” she ‘gushed’, shaking herself.

    ”Ice cream?” She looked up at him before waving it off, “it’s fine. I’ve had no ice cream for 19 years, I can live another,” she sighed, fiddling with her hair. What would ice cream taste like..? It must be good if people like it.

    Tilting her head as he sung, hummed, and danced, she slapped him lightly on the shoulders, “stop acting like a child,” she murmured, following him into the store. “Respectable? I didn't even sleep at all!” She exclaimed.

    @Dustin

  16. "Whats that..?" she sighed, standing up. Following him while stretching her arms, her clipped eyes watched him pointedly as he climbed the tree. "I'm not climbing that th-" she shook her head, "never mind." The player gave him a 'are you kidding me?' look before speaking, "I hope you don't waste mine either," she seethed through her teeth before following after him once again. She pushed through the shrubbery, finding herself in a clearing with a giant pond. "O-oh.. water," she stuttered, carefully taking steps towards it. Oh lord, I hate water.. no, no, no. He used to do all sorts of stuff to me with water. She gulped taking small strides closer to him. "Are you sure thats safe?" she queered, holding her hands together. As she got hit with the water, she jumped back, "stop it!" she shrieked, her face fuming, "what the hell, dude?!" she threw her hands in the air as she ranted about how much of a jerk a certain someone is.

    @Dustin

  17. “Finally,” she repeated, rolling her eyes. “You have like, really bad luck. You should get on item for that,” she held up her scarf as a reference, “like this.” She chuckled, kicking her feet back and forth, “yeah, have fun trying to craft things, it sucked.” Taking in a yawn, and gave a small nod, “yup, back to the old geezers shop, that’s where you’ll craft it.”

    “Rest? Dude, sure this game has energy and stamina but you don’t get tired.. unless like, you’re sleepy tired? I dunno. But stop exaggerating, get up.”

    She crossed her arms and looked up at him, “you jerk,” she puffed, kicking his shin as hard as she could. Stupid tall people.

    @Dustin

  18. She looks up at the sky after he said his comment and shrugged, "they're okay," she lied. They're pretty. Way prettier than anything I'ver ever seen in real life. But they're so darn artificial. She sighed, shrugging, "don't worry, I hate you more." Watching him go, she gave a small wave, "see ya, you better not leave me here for dead." Once he was finally out of sight, she fell back and rubbed her eyes. "This sucks, I thought we would be out before it gets darks. This is what I get for trying to help a newbie, well.. more of a newbie than me actually." Placing her head on her hands, she gave a small yawn. "I don't want to stay in the forest.." she muttered, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. "It's all yucky.." She must've been thinking for a long time, because when she finally opened her eyes, the sun was already coming out and Dustin as already coming back. Jumping up, she brushed her legs and arms frantically. She looked down at him and frowned, "any luck?"

    @Dustin

  19. "Confident my butt," she mumbled, covering her face with her hands, "you could have some sources, theres a lot of unknown things in Aincrad my good sir." Peeking through her fingers, she sighed, leaning back into the bench. "Don't you have some things to do other than bugging me? C'mon, there has to be something else worth your time." The player stared at him coldly before removing her hands from her face. This is not going well. Meeting another dimwit who tried to be friends with her was making her more and more weirded out, seriously, why does everyone in this world nice? I'm sure there are people like me in here.. She mentally groaned, raking a hand through her hair.

    "Pretty?" She echoed, a frown appearing on her face. "Are you sure you aren't blind?" She questioned, her brow raising. "Whatever, but hunting was fun either way. Stabbing things is my stress reliever," she sighed, looking up at the sky for any sign of rain.

    @Pick

  20. “I think your sense of time is a little out of whack, we’ve been here for a couple hours already,” she gestured towards the dark sky. “Sure they arent, wait till you try fighting them,” She seethed, “they’re annoying as hell.” She sighed, pushing him slightly away from here, “I have a bubble here.” Watching him whine over food, she rolled her eyes, “Yeah, me too I guess. My diet was very.. controlled back in the real world,” she sighed, rubbing her shoulders. Snorting at his childish behavior, she gave an amused shrug.

    “No, I don’t want to know and I don’t care,” she muttered, he answers anyways. “Never get bored, sounds like fun.”

    “Huh, you’re one of the only people I’ve talked to so far,” she mumbled, biting her lip. “You’re more sane than I am at least,” she sighed, flicking him in the head. “Now shut up, I want some quiet around here.”

    @Dustin

  21. The ebony haired player narrowed her eyes at him and broke into a frown, “is this a cover up for you asking me on a date?” She asked, tsking him. “All right then, deal. We’ll see if this great weather will turn into rain.” There is no way. I swear if the universe goes [beep!] you on me, I’ll be ranting in it’s stupid universe face. She crossed her arms and sighed, “you’re going to lose this bet,” she told him with a pointed look. There’s no way in hell am I going on a date with a random stranger on the street. Never been on one. Never will. Don’t you go [beep!]-ing me up universe!

    Looking at him skeptically, she scratched her chin, “you sure look a little bit cocky about this, I swear if there’s some kind of cheat you have up your sleeve, then I’ll have your head.”

    @Pick

  22. “Wha-?” She got interrupted when she fell back with a soft thud. “Push me again, I dare you!” She shouted waving her hands in the air like a crazy person. She nearly choked on air, “what do you mean same world as me?!” She folded her arms, sitting up with a frown, not finding any of this amusing. “Gah, I don’t need sleep, I usually cr- do stuff before I sleep,” she muttered, waving off the thought. Pushing his cloak away with a stick, her frown deepened, “get your clothes away from me. It’s not cold anyways.”

    The player watched as he pushed back a log to be as her ‘makeshift’ pillow. “I’m not sleeping, just forget it..” she trailed off with a small yawn. “I’m not sleepy!” Her mouth immediately snapped shut to prevent anymore games from escaping. Pushing her legs together, she hugged herself quietly, “whatever, stabbing anything will leave me satisfied for a day.” Blinking away her tiredness, she looked up at him. “You can just sleep, I’ll keep watch or whatever. In case some spooky boar comes out or something.”

    @Dustin

  23. “I said, yet,” she exclaimed, “not yet. Yet,” she worded it very carefully, squinting at him. “People say I should have a shield cause it’s dangerous, but where’s the fun in that,” she shrugged. She sighed, turning around again. “I’m bored,” she groaned, covering her face with her arms. “I could kill them for you, I should be a hired mercenary,” she chuckled, thinking of ways that could happen.

    “I don’t find it that bad, honestly beats real life. But the downside is that we’re stuck with idiotic emo teens who don’t know how to cope with their emotions,” she babbled, sparing him the ‘look’, “like you.” She let out a lacy breath, “hunting, huh? I guess you lived in a rural area. Lucky, the city sucks. Cramped apartments, pollution, poverty, grime.” She listed a few more before stopping, I hated the city.

    Sitting up she shrugged, “you’re dumb,” she teased shaking her head before gaping at him, “Night?! You need to finish your quest. No way in hell am I sleeping next to you!” She grumbled, crossing her arms. “I.. don’t sleep much either, it’s an issue that I have.” She sighed, looking down. “Whatever, just go to sleep, I’ll be awake all night anyways,” she leaned down and folded her arms across her knees. This will be a long night.

    @Dustin

  24. She sputtered, "flimsy?! What are you calling flimsy," she grabbed her spear and caressed it, "the spear is the best weapon in the game." She huffed, shaking her head, "in fact, it should be called Spear Art online, thats how good it is." She narrowed her eyes at him and frowned, "I'd like to see how your sword is better than my spear," she emphasized, shaking her head. Swords. too heavy. When you got a one handed spear, all you need is to be fast. Who needs a shield if they can't even hit you either?! She chuckled to herself, shield my arse. She looked up at him and grinned victoriously, "yup, it's perfect for impaling someon- something," she coughed, looking in another direction. "It's a sword, thats why it's doing nothing," she commented, tilting her head.

    "Not probably, darling. I would beat you," she gave a small clap and rolled over so she was face planting into the grass. "how comforting," she said, muffled by the forest floor. Looking up in surprise, she held her gaze with him before face planting again, "I don't think you killed them, you're not orange, nor do I think you have to dignity to kill them," she sighed, waving her hand at him, "nothing, it doesn't matter anymore."

    @Dustin

  25. “I don’t tend to to listen to people,” she muttered, “I wish this was the real world, I could kick you beat way easier,” she blinked, taking in a small yawn. She watched as he aimlessly threw rocks at trees, “you know that-“ she was cut off when he threw a rock at her. When he said she can do whatever she wanted, she clapped her hands together and chuckled, “whatever I want? Okay,” she opened her in inventory and took her spear out. “Hehehe..” she called, pointing the end of her spear at him. “This is your wish not mine... but, I don’t think I want to be a player killer, yet,” she smirked, sitting back down and dropping her spear on the forest floor.

    “You’ll be my first target for when I do become one though,” she pointed finger guns at him and smiled mischievously. “Then.. bam.” Gone.
