  1. The place was called <> and as soon as Miaki saw it he knew they we in the right place. They entered the village and found the missus house home the NPC that started the quest. Upon entering the NPC noticed them and offered them a cup of water. Miaki noticed the simmering pot of water behind them, which seemed odd at first to him but then he remembered that his family would do something similar to their water in order to make it more pure and better for you. He was just about to take a sip of the cup when the two guys heard someone coughing hard in the back room. When the two investigated the source they saw a small child in a bed looking very ill. They were told that the village had been struck with a plague that made many of the villagers sick. Only by finding a plant monster called the <> which upon its death would drop the <> could the village make a cure to save some of the children.

They accepted the quest and immediately made their way west in search of the plant monster. If Kirito was right, then the monster would be a little difficult to find.

  2. Miaki was checking the post board when we noticed a new one pop up requesting a small party meet up on the 5th floor. Miaki broke a smile, his light brown jacket flowing in the wind. '5th floor huh? Haven't been there yet. This will be fun' He thought as he stepped onto the <> and warped to the 5th floor plaza.

As the blue light began to disipate, he stepped away from the platform and saw Elyth who he met once before. "Elyth! Hey! Are you here for that party being formed too?" He adjusted his fedora and noticed the other guy. Miaki approached and held out his hand greeting the player. "Name is Miaki. I'm here for for the request to team up."

  3. Miaki opened his mouth, with his hand point to the sky. "Uhhhhhhhhh......" Realizing he had forgotten himself which was odd for him considering he was usually good with direction, in a remarkable speed a swipes with his hand he opened his GUI and brought up a map. "That way." He pointed eastward. "Follow the path for a short while and you'll reach a small town."

  4. He looked at the cute young girl with a look that was a mixture of mystery, wonder, and curiosity when she mentioned a curse. It was the first he heard of anything like a curse in SAO, although such things did existent other RPG games that he had played in he past this was certainly a first. "I've never heard of such a thing before in SAO. Still I commend you. Anyone I've seen up to this point would refuse to leave the safety of the <>. It's not healthy. They rob themselves of such life." He glanced over at her. "I like that."

  5. Miaki smiled as the sun got closer setting, casting an orange light over the landscape. "I can understand that all too well. I enjoy having some time to just relax. I can't think of very many other ways to enjoy these moments. Any other day I would've been exploring or checking some dungeon." He fell onto his back to watch the clouds shift around in the sky.

  6. Miaki laughed as his hat blocked his vision. "Oh I think I know the type." Thinking back to some of the people he had met recently. Waved around acting like he couldn't see for a moment before fixing his hat. When he fixed it, Miaki looked at Eryn's cute face as she looked out into he distance. Waiting for someone or daydreaming he couldn't tell. "What do you like to do around here Eryn?"

  7. Miaki opened up his menu and equipped his light brown fedora. He sat down next to Eryn, placing the hat on his head and looked out at the landscape around them. "Yep, I enjoy this floor a bit more compared to the first. It's more peaceful here. Not as many people. How about you? You like it here too?" He turned his head smiling at Eryn.

  8. Watching Haine cry hurt Miaki more than ever. Her best friend was hurt. Miaki attempted to make her feel better. He couldn't see Yue's HP but knew that since the white wolf hadn't vanished then it was something else.

"Well she isn't dead otherwise we wouldn't be here looking at her. It must be something else. A status effect or something." He looked around at everyone gathered. "Does anyone have a cure crystal?"

  9. It was another beautiful day on the second floor. Miaki was laying on his back resting his eyes for a nice nap. The air quality here seemed to be nicer on this floor compared to the first. He woke up slowly and heard someone close by playing. He got up, fixing his light brown jacket which he had opened to let the wind blow it around. Underneath he wore an olive green tunic. He cleaned his glasses and walked toward the sound of someone having fun. A minute later he saw a young girl playing around. She was hoping from stone to stone in the most playful way possible he thought. 'What was that game?' He thought. 'Oh yeah! Hopscotch.' It was nice to see someone acting normal around here. She suddenly turned in his direction. 'Whoa, does she have a spider-sense or something?' Thinking back to a superhero his dad liked. He continued walking forward and waved to her. "Hi there. My name is Miaki."

  10. The food arrived and it was delicious. Miaki went straight away and opened up his burger, adding a layer of fries to it. Taking a bite of the delicious sandwich sent his taste buds to heaven and back. The strawberry shake was perfect too. Miaki took a sip of the refreshment and just couldn't stop there. He drained a third of the shake in one go.

"So, I was thinking of going up to the second floor today to challenge some of those big ox-type monsters. The canyons up there are full of them, and I hear they drop some halfway decent loot."

"I'd be up for that in a little bit. I've only explored some of the second floor myself, but not that much at all." He said while eating some of his fries.

  11. Well that's kind of you to help players out down here. I can tell you that it really does make a difference in the attitude down here when people come down here and help them out." He quickly glanced Nikki over and deducted that her case of fatigue was due to having spent alot of time helping players not too long ago. "I personally just came back from visiting the 2nd floor. He said, rotating his body a little and throwing his thumb over his shoulder pointing back at the <>. "Right now I live in an inn on this floor nothing special at all. Eventually I plan to move myself up to one of the other floors but haven't gotten around to that yet."

Miaki searched his mind for any reason he might have that has prevented him from leaving this floor. Coming up with nothing he resumed their conversation. "Wait. You live on the snow covered 4th floor?" He started to get noticeably excited with the topic of snow. It reminded him of when he was a little boy, before his family moved to a southern state in America. "I've not yet been to that floor. What is it like up there?"

  12. "Is this who you two are looking for?" Miaki heard Cinder say gesturing to the smiling NPC named Pepper. Miaki nearly bursted with excitement at their find. The NPC waved to the three players, greeting them. For a moment Miaki was surprised at how lifelike this particular NPC was. It would seem that in <> some players were just more important that others and thus given more attention. This wasn't a new concept. In many MMOs, some NPCs just existed to make areas appear more active and populated than they actually were.

"Alright, time to get started." Miaki said while approaching Pepper. He engaged the cute blacksmith who talked about setting up shop here in Aincrad and trying to make a living. Miaki asked her different things and she returned with seemingly unscripted responses. 'Man, Kayaba. I'll give you credit for making her seem real.' He then asked about getting a custom-made blade and how much it would cost.

"Oh I'd be happy to make you a specialty blade. What kind do you have in mind?" Pepper asked. Miaki told her he wanted to a silver <> he already had a name in mind for it when he finished the quest. When he acquired this dream sword, he'd name it <> based off of an old handle he went by in other games. Pepper nodded as Miaki told her what he had in mind then gave him a list of materials to find. Miaki's GUI appeared and noted the starting of the quest. The display read:

    New Quest Available

    Blades of Dreams

    Materials Needed:

    <>

    <>

    <>

    <>

"Sweet!" Miaki shouted throwing his fist in the air. He turned around to face Cinder and Clarance.

  13. Miaki pointed to Cinder with his thumb as they started walking into the the <>. "I was hoping Cinder new exactly. But it shouldn't be as hard as I was making it out to be." Miaki adjusted his light brown fedora and waved open his GUI, bringing up a map of the city. "What I was doing was checking out each place marked on the map as an NPC weapons shop. But there are many in this massive city. However, Zooming in on the <>. "I've noticed only a few shops. I suspect that it should be easy."
