Closing her eyes to concentrate, it got really loud fast. She started to get agitated very quickly. Hand on her hilt as she flashed her eyes open. The target had to die, dashing through the bushes, running up the large arm, making a clean cut saying “Shut up”. Staring at the group for a moment before vanishing, her work here was done. Others would see the head of Ugzeke tumble down his chest landing in front of the group. Celeste would step back a bit not wanting to touch it and Raidou would just stare at the thing. Just like that it was done, the creature exploded and Morrighan was nowhere to be found. Today was done and there was the next day to look forward to, not too quickly everyone would hope. The team goes their separate ways, tomorrow would be just as busy but for now, it was time to rest.

“Better,” is all she said before vanishing into the forest, leaving a trail of ice cold white mist. Standing on a branch, it was a great vanishing point. It allowed her to see what others might not be able to. She could also spot stuff sooner than the group could this way. Placing the hilt of her blade in one hand, Gaius seemed to stop the large boulder of a creature dead in his tracks. This would give her an opening, hopping off the tree, nothing could be seen but a glimpse and a flash before a large gash starts forming on Ugzeke. Within that wound he began to freeze from that point outward. After she makes sure that he actually freezes, she disappears into the bushes to get out of sight. Perching herself on a limb, this would not take much longer. The thing never saw us coming, that may be thanks to the white haired chick. The one thing that was noticed was that the creature seemed to turn red inside the ice, she wasn’t sure if that happened before or after though.

Coming down into the hole with the others, she glances around, “I hate it here,” as she assesses the targets that were already getting beat to shit. There was nowhere to hide even if she wanted to. The only other option was to stay behind them at all times and of course what her footing as she does so. Going for the biggest thing in the room, she ends up behind all the creatures. A large gash could be seen forming on the fire winged beast that showed a misty cold presence coming out of it. The wings were made of pure flame and the form almost looked demonic, it even looked like it had horns that swirled inside themselves. Wobbling a little bit, she would readjust herself and turn toward the group. This was probably the worst place she had been at, no cover or shadows to keep herself concealed.

Darting down, sword at the ready. Only mist could be seen to trail her location, or at least where she was not where she is currently standing. Approaching the tiny targets that the man was having trouble catching. Her Katana comes out swiftly with a small gleam and before anything of her presents could be seen, she was already gone. Ice started to form under the creatures with a sudden burst of exactly half. Mist fills the area around, She wound up near the tree line again. It was the only real cover from them all. “three gone, three remain,” saying in the smallest of voices in almost a whisper. Nisahime seemed to be looking right at her. How was she able to do that, most of the time if not all the time her location was hidden. So how was it possible that this woman was looking right at her like she knew exactly where she was.

A dark grey cloud fills the area where the enemy was. As it begins to clear she could see turtles start to come up the hole that Gaius created. Something seemed different about them though, they started pushing their necks out and snapping at nothing. Sending a message to Raidou to confirm their location. She didn’t want to give away her position for obvious reasons. She saw Raidou read it as he started pointing them out to the others. Pulling out a cloth, she cleans her blade off while keeping the other eye on her team. If another threat popped up, she would wreak havoc on them. Until then she would wait, patience was a major part of the game she played. Observing the target until enough information was given them death. Setting the cloth back into a satchel, eyes turn to the group. Any sign of hand waving her that way, she would be there in a heartbeat or sooner.

The target has shown its tiny little face, that was a grave mistake. Watching Gaius make the first move, she would be the one to follow up. Leaving a white mist in her trail as she rushes toward the creature. The moment Gaius pulls his weapon, liquid comes out and freezes solid before it suddenly shatters. It is replaced by a large pulsing gash that starts turning into ice. On the other side of the crap, she is holding the hilt in one hand and the other palm laying on the flat on the weapon sheath. Inhaling, she vanishes from view. One thing she has learned, never be the target, only the hunter. If they could not see her then they couldn’t make an easy target out of her. Perching on a tree branch, leaves blocking their view from her. She would wait for the next opportunity to strike before moving forward again.

The swirling film of white smoke, that permeates the tree line would break in a sudden dispersal. Sitting with the vague outline as it drifts aimlessly and without purpose. The leaves that find themselves trapped in it turning blueish as they become more rigid, the temperature drop simulating an early winter. The cross wrapped handle of a weapon hung tight to her skin, pressed against her back despite its length. Purple strands ripped across it in a network of overlapping lines, topped with a singular brass cap and a dangling string. The sheathe a cool grey, simple yet functional. Across her body is a functional ninja garb in darker blues with purple accents, the main one being the long purple scarf wrapped around her neck that a matching mask has been pulled up from to cover the lower half of her face. The plant life scrambles as she pushes through, from the shade into the sunlight. A landscape like a painting, yet not so carefree.

Eyes fixated on the large humanoid, everything else was exterminated. Launching herself through the air, those huge wings unfurled right before Setsuna tries to pull her blade, she lands on the fluff instead. Meeting Raidou’s gaze, Setsuna is catapulted into the air. Having to use all her momentum to dash forward so when she went back down it was not going to be on the creature. The girl eventually finds ground with a sliding crouch, vanishing again. Finding an enlarged bush to hide behind. Thinking of all the things that just went wrong, it could have been just that it was a happenstance, something that just happens every now again. If she got another chance to attack again, maybe her distance had to be shorter between the target or the pure timing would have to be better, to find a different opportunity to strike. Setsuna was stuck trying to figure out why she missed.

Landing on her feet as the area around her shifts, without a second thought another tree was leaped on. Crouch down, observing the creatures that made their presence known. Hearing the redheads call out, Setsuna was already waiting for the perfect opportunity. The moment it comes close enough she pushes herself off the branch with swiftness, quickly pulls her Katana, slicing right through the creatures in the air, before anyone would notice her or the weapon it was already tucked away and the girl was already out of view. The ice began to form around its body with a large red gash mark across its chest. Setsuna catches the trunk of the tree across the way and climbs up. Perching herself looking down, a small whisper, “One left.” Taking out a cloth, whipping the remains off the blade. Wasn’t sure if it was actually blood or left over fragments but it was still something that made it dirty, Setsuna couldn’t have that.

Eyes started to fixate on the tree branched. Setsuna started jumping from branch to palms. It was clear that people were trying to look for something but it wasn’t all the way clear what it was. This made the girl search for everything. This was the closet that came to what Setsuna actually did all night. After the tenth leap of no obvious moment from anything that wasn’t them. Turning back to the group, “Negative source,” saying silently to almost herself but somehow the girl knew that Nisahime might hear the tiny voice. Seeing the lips of the woman moved, hopefully the group got the message. Just in case she sends a quick message to Raidou saying nothing and sits. Taking out her sharpening stone, lightly brushing her blades sharp end against it waiting, listen, for anything else to happen in the near distance. It was rather nice here, very quiet, and made it easy to concentrate.

The creature was flipped, opportunity given. A soft drop to the ground, no sound. A dash through the sands in speed that most people wouldn’t be able to see. Landing for a split second, finding herself on the belly. Pulling her blade out as a sword art striked up the flesh of the fabricated skin. The others would see mist transpire followed by a slash. Nothing more had been in their visuals, Setsuna was really good at what she did. If she was seen then it would give the enemy a chance to attack, Setsuna could not let that happen. It would make her vulnerable, that was the last thing she wanted to be. Sitting on a different branch, never the same tree. Whipping her blade off with the cloth while she prepares for another dive. This was too easy, a bit boring. Trying her best to stay focused, Setsuna would do what was asked of her.

Sliding the sword back in its holder, hoping so that both feet were on the branch now. Moving some leaves out of view, right then she was gone. Anyone paying attention would see a faint flash then a frame next to the creature with a sudden large gash through it. The girl right then would be gone. Nothing more than a thin white mist and a sizzle from the crabs wound to mark that Satuna was actually there. Back up in the tree’s, a different one this time. Never take the same stance twice. They would be harder to locate if another destination was chosen. This was no PK raid, but it was something that could easily be managed. Raidou asked for Setsuna to be present and their raid was at a halt for the moment. It was getting more dangerous out there, they were stronger in numbers. Crouching down silently waiting for the next opportune moment.

A quick snap of her attention to Nisa and back to the carriage. A shake of her head ‘no’ offers an abrupt showing of disagreement. But with it was a clear intention to protect whatever was trapped inside. It was buried in the sand, it wouldn’t be a living breathing thing. It couldn’t be, could it?
That katana of hers fused with ire, irritation brought to a bubbling focus. It breathes in a bitter chill that slowly slides back into its sheath, shearing flakes of frost from it as it rubs against the inside of it. It clicks shut and the girl leans low, embracing it with her left hand as her right hovers the handle. Her legs slide apart, and her eyes shut. Senses come to a focal point, focusing on the sounds of conflict.

She could hear it, and with a vorpal tear she’d scream “Mortal Erasure” causing the sword art to fire off and catapult her at an unorthodox speed, honing down on its target and clean through. The heartbeat being the captive, avoided as she cleaved straight through the lower half and up past the sternum of that construct. No damage, yet it paused as if shocked. Ice started to form, which was presumably where the cut occurred. It wasn’t until the blade was fully docked, that it would explode and its hp would plummet down to damn near nothing. The legs cut clean off and trapped in ice as it falls forward, the torso becoming encased that shatters as it collides with the terrain.

A wave of heat causes Setsuna to recoil, a bit of irritation on her face as she drags a foot to escape the blast zone. The girl never was a fan of heat, no matter the source. A glare jumps back to Celeste who was clearly not paying any attention. In its fuzziness however, looking past the red head Setsuna could detect movement as her vision refocuses. A pair of greatswords leap from the carriage as the thing starts to transition from structure to beast.
“Of course it would, INBOUND.” The girl bites with that sharpened abrupt tone, a tinge and taste of outrage in it. The tip taps of her sandals in the sand, right past Celeste’s left and straight toward Raidou. A lunge sees her heading right for the man, hand on the handle as she disperses into a fog that reforms. All that momentum carried her clean through the carriage. Blade extended, it folds as if clutching its newly formed stomach.

Setsuna continued to waltz down the beach, feigning a complete lack of interest in whatever the gaggle of players were currently swooning over. A pop of a crab out of the sand due to the loud rumbles from that same gaggle, actively starting to flee at the first sight of a player nearby. “There’s more.” The girl yells toward the others, watching Celeste about face and starts running up to catch the stragglers. “Kill them, I’ll make sure that's the last of them.” She’d offer the red head almost like a command. An obtuse look back makes her reciprocate it “What, do you want a pretty please? Get over it.” The girl remarked as she turned her back to the primadonna and kept about her own affairs.
She’d head toward the northernmost point of the beachfront. A glance into the tree cover and out toward the waves. They were a bunch of small crabs, not something that really required her direct input. And if it did, then they had bigger problems.

A pivot on her heel sees her redirect to face her opponent, who was now incapacitated on the sand. Hand clutched to the weapon strung across her lower back, gripping hard on the cloth wrapping that held itself to the edge.
Her feet slide apart, drawing her stance low and spreading her legs far enough to allow her knees past her shoulders as she braces on her left hand. A vorpal tear would make it appear as if she folds space or teleports through her target leaving this thin cyan line behind. A trail from her point of origin to her destination. Grinding to a halt, her blade bleeding permafrost mist in a billowing thickness that dances on the floor just like dry ice. A turn sees it find the sheathes opening, and a slow shift sees it slide close.
The moment it snaps shut, the creature's wounds suddenly rip open showing the white flesh and wireframe beneath it in a seemingly volatile paper thin flesh.

Roaring from the tree line like a bullet, her weapon surged in an ice cold cyan blue that leaves the air burning in its wake. That line slides through in an instant, right through an array of spider-like legs on Sand’s Claw’s left side. It seems ineffective, until the small silverish blue head raises to eye level and the tiny clink of a closed katana sees it detonate. What was struck scatter into stardust and other pieces are frozen solid beneath a cascade of ice. The creature squeals in agony, turning to take a swipe at Setsuna in rebuttal. It looks as though it connects but the girl disperses in a puff of mist. As if she wasn’t even there.
The creature would seem almost confused, as the girl apparates a few feet above it and starts to scatter over the top of it with a few light foot taps across its carapace.

Sitting on a branch of a palm tree nearby, one leg up, back against the trunk. The girl had been here for an hour. When the message from yesterday said urgent, apparently it didn’t mean that at all. A cloth was out as she stroked the blade lightly cleaning it. Most people didn’t bother doing this. Even if it could just be auto cleaned like everything else in this god forsaken game, Setsuna would do it ritually to know it got done properly. It was the same thing with repair, Griswolds shop was doing a pristine job at this. Durability wasn’t a thing either but maintenance was done anyway to be sure that the blade Setsuna wielded was not going to shatter when she was hunting in the dark by herself. Hearing snoring coming from behind her, two guesses who that was. Either the small girl was sleep-walking again or someone was draping her to the meeting point.

Setsuna looked to Raidou with the most terrified expression "Is it worse? I accept anything you have to do to remove it. Should I lie down?" The girl starts to get the notion to shove her finger in her mouth to gag herself. Raidou uses an open hand as a barricade. "I appreciate your tutelage. Your patience. All of you, thank you for joining at my final moments." Setsuna starts to lie on the floor, patiently expecting to reduced to ash in the coming moments. It takes some serious effort to get the girl off the floor and moreover the only sober member dictates that she probably shouldn't be jumping around from rooftop to rooftop like usual. "I understand, thank you for taking care of me." it was obtuse for sure, but the girl couldn't help but feel attached and weak to her companions in such a compromised state. Until this passed, she'd cling to the swordsman like glue.

A chilled vapor permeates from the girl's skin and drops harmlessly into a nearby treeline. A set of cold cyan blue eyes fixated with a determinate glare, a taste of ferocity locked in and ready to pounce. Like a predator. The wind passing through that canopy makes the fog swirl and spin harmlessly through the air.
Coiling with her legs around the branch beneath her, she’d drop gingerly to the one just beneath it. A soft exhale escapes her lips, damn near inaudible. Setsuna was clearly a master of her trade, and that trade was hunting. A flip of her wrist would check their surroundings, and start to confirm her equipment through her menu. With everything in order and her coordinates acknowledged, the girl was primed to fight. Her gaze would fixate on the conversation held by Raidou and that strange woman, knowing full well that in a brief moment things would quickly transition to combat.

A Drink on The House | 243582, CD: 10 -> Whiskey
Unsheathing her blade in a quick ripping slash sees the trunk of the tree shatter like glass. The first thing she could hit and finally vent some of those pent up frustrations. "Wish fulfilled." The girl remarks in a cold tone, her hair glossed in its pale silver wetness. Weather wasn't anywhere near as drastic as the other two girls were acting it was. The final leg of their journey finds them back into the tavern, her first visit to the place. "This is where the quest ends?" she'd look to Raidou for a silent nod. Three crates offered to the back, leaving Shiina to pout in a corner. Once delivered, she'd quip to the others. "Now what?" checking the quest details, it was nothing more then technical garbage. Indecipherable and messy.
However the quest objective had easily moved its tracker, and where it would land? The countertop, upon which four cups had suddenly appeared. "Poison?" Setsuna asks indirectly, eying the one with her pointer hovering on it. A whiff causes her to scrunch her nose. "If it was, then it wouldn't be a quest target. Suppose we are supposed to drink it." The girl as headstrong as always downs the whole glass in a quick urge of duty. A warm color starts to take hold of her face, adding pink to a place that's normally dead white. Her stomach churns and she fights concretely the urge to cough. "Its bitter." shortly later she hiccups abruptly, catching her by surprise. "I may be poisoned, my head is spinning."

Travel Back | 243578, LD: 18 -> One of the wheels pops off the wagon. As you rush to fix it, you hear the sound of something giggling and scampering towards you. You never see what it is as you get back on the road.
Removing her hand, the more wild amongst them really had a way of drawing attention to them. Setsuna sighs in irritation and passes a smaller crate to Shiina, before gesturing aggressively "Move it, we don't have all day." Down to the pile, she peels up one of her own and moves up toward the deck of the ship. Atop it, one of her other companions were being equally as useless. "There are more, do I have to do everything... Where is?" watching as a fish monster wanders past with a broom with Raidou clearly on its heels. Setsuna instinctually moves out of the way and offers her foot out. Tripping the creature it careens off the side of the ship.
A brush of her hair, she slinks a grapple to the mast and winds it around the crate. A pseudo pulley system she lowers the first and Shiina's into the cart. A wheel breaks off from the weight. "Oh for fucks..." The Frigid end catches the brief glance of a shadow rushing away from the wagon. "That's it!" A perfectly good subject to vent her frustration, she bounds from the ship at breakneck speed leaving the thin metal wire behind. The repeated clapping of her tabi hitting wood board, her blade draws as she bounds the corner. But what she finds is nothing more then a disembodied laugh. "Coward..." she spat, choosing not to give chase otherwise nothing would get done.

Unloading the Cargo | 243574, LD:10 -> You find a barrel of wine that is leaking profusely. Its flow seems never ending. It tastes a bit flat.
Upon the galleon that had run aground, now perched precariously inside a unfortunate building Setsuna slides. A quest prompt appears, sending a fuzz across her screen. <<Escort the booze us...>> It cuts away in a distorted mess but provides the necessary markers. Some even conveying that they lingered beneath her very feet. "Fine" Setsuna spat in a cutting whisper, hovering her hand over her weapon's hilt as she'd pierce into the darkness. Her eyes light up in an obvious cyan blue glow, as her skill allows her to see within this dark interior. A chunk of building poking through the starboard side, cutting through some of the shelving and sending a sizeable sum of wine parading through the breach. The girl would lean and taste but a drop. "Wine, a trade ship." the investigation concludes with her casting frozen hide and placing her hand to the exterior of the barrel. Seeing the contents begin to freeze solid and prevent its never-ending dribble.

Waiting at the Docks | 243573, LD: 16 -> The brigantine does not dock, and instead tears through the dock, before beaching itself.
The dimly lit bog of a town, the brand new floor was a reflection of another much lower. Bits of debris float harmlessly in stagnant water, offering a bit of earthiness to the mildew funk. A small barge toward the far end of town, the other players would ride. Setsuna hops from roof to roof in the manner to which she was accustomed. Scouring the local, trying to get a sense of what new dangers could be lingering just out of sight. The town was empty, not a soul in sight. Various boats sat tied to structures, as decayed docks mirrored some in disrepair. A lantern or two still lit, offering the only real source of light across its dramatic expanse. A crash to which Setsuna can only catch but a glimpse of, a boat just careens through a nearby building right through the door of some building. A glance to the swordsman in red, and toward the cat and the singer. A pair of fingers to her eyes, and a point to the direction before she'd lunge further.

Sitting on the ground against a palm tree. A cloth gently rubs against the metal of her blade. It was early the O&I team had been quiet for the moment. They might have been gathering intel on another lead. This was something that she was being constantly invited to. At the very least it was keeping her busy. Watching the white haired female in the distance, fishing of all things. Not something she thought she would see being here so early. Shaking her head, sheather her sword. Getting up, she was going to scout the area around to make sure nothing was going to join the fight that was soon to come. Pulling her mask up over her nose as she starts running through the brush. Plants iced over as she moved through them, white mist following her trail. She would be back before the others got there, they were usually always late anyway.
