  1. The boar feels like this is all going according to his plans- dodging the attack, hitting his own- there was no way he was going to let this small girl kill him. Though the strong looking characters seemed scary, he felt like they would all be a sinch to take down after a few more strikes. He definitely had this in the bag. The boar goes in for a hit head-first. And hits her! Unfortunately, Vie gets away before he can continue damaging her from close-up.

The motivation from the two experienced players felt nice, the girl smiled despite feeling a bit disappointed in herself. She realized that this wasn't a moment she should allow to negatively affect her. The fact that they were right behind her just incase something bad happened helped the situation as well. Otherwise she might be frightened by the enemy, having been hit twice already which is quite the negative experience when you actually feel the pain. The redhead stared at her blade, feeling pride that she took down the two boars without much difficulty. 'Just one more...' she repeated to herself, smiling a little. She leaps towards the target with rapier in hand, assuring herself that it would be over soon. And she hits the mark! The boar limps around a bit with a large cross-section gash in his stomach. 'Just... a little more!'

  2. She spends time thinking about what Kiluia had said, and comes to the conclusion that she really has no drive at the moment. It's not that she's unambitious, rather she hadn't thought about it much before. The redhead wanted to repay the kindness shown to her by Firm Anima, but she didn't know an exact way of repaying that... Perhaps that was her drive? Friends were nice, but she didn't really have them in this world- not many of them at least. Was that strong enough of a purpose? She ponders a little more. No one had ever asked her what she wanted, they'd just done things without asking or left her to do them regardless of her feelings. This seemed like an important thing to know, but it also felt like she didn't have the necessary ingredients to properly reply. Maybe she ought to do some self exploration.

Vie watches in awe as Kiluia swings at the boulder nonchalauntly... Missing. Laughter escapes her, not expecting the strong male to miss. "Thanks for cheering me up as well as giving me some food for thought," she said a bit teary-eyed though she had tried her best to halt the release of giggles. "And... thanks for offering the help," the words flowed out of her mouth eloquently as she tilted her head and gave a smile to the him. She already appreciated the words she'd gifted to her quite a lot. If they had this much of an effect on her, certainly his idea of help would surely be extremely effective.

After the motivational conversation, she focuses back to the task at hand- again determined to make a crack that was as effective as his had been. The girl moves towards the boulder, whacking it in the same spot she had previously. This hit was sort of... above mediocre but pretty underwhelming still. Nonetheless, she took it in stride- happy to at least not miss the boulder. Remembering Kiluia's attack she laughs a bit more though attempting to cover it up with her hands. What a goofy yet admirable man.

  3. After hearing Kiluia refer to the person who had helped him, Vie feels a little better about her inability to hit the boulder as well as he did. "That sounds nice... I'd like to get to know her, maybe develop better technique or something," Vie spoke while finnicking with her hands and acting a little happy... Whispering 'maybe I have a chance too' inaudibly. "Do you really think that's a possibility? I mean... you're pretty strong," the girl tilts her head, really wondering if she could surpass him that easily. She remembers the task at hand, focusing her attention on the boulder and clenching her fists as they had worked out well for her last time. The redhead throws a one-fisted strike at the boulder, hoping that it hits as well as the last attack. She lands it! Though it doesn't do as much damage as the first strike, the small dent makes her feel excited about the possible future, it's the mark she made afterall. With her own fists... That must mean something.

  4. The word 'cute' echoed through her mind until she returned from spacing out... And Kiluia's attack turn was over. She glances over his mark and does a doubletake, completely stunned by how much he had managed to crack the boulder. A mediocre crevasse had now been  engraved into the object, While she made just a... scratch? She blushed and tilted her head downcast, embarrassed at the difference in their strength. "A-Alright Kiluia," Vie responded trying to seem as cheerful as ever while feeling a little disheartened internally. The redhead tries an alternate technique, balling up her fist and attempting to punch the boulder- something she was hesitant to do at first. She had hit it! The hit was a little harder than the last even. Yet why did she feel so unsuccessful, so... futile in this moment. The idea of being carried through this, it sort of hurt her as if she was completely incapable until a male had come to save her. Someone more capable. She tried to shrug it off, but a growing cloud of disappointment floated over her nonetheless.

  5. After the brief downtime, Vie had received rather valuable information she'd been truly grateful for. She looks around town for anything that may indicate where these Ruins were. Thankfully some NPCs began setting up their shop once more- just as Beatrice said they might. She asks one by the name of Robert to the whereabouts of the ruins, and heads towards the direction that he indicates... While there was some sort of trail through the vegetation towards the ruins, it seemed like mother nature was trying to take back her territory impeding the path's ability to be a path. Small weeds and bush would force their way through the pathway in order to grow causing cracks and other normally unsightly issues. Vie doesn't pay any mind to this, stepping on any vegetation in her way in order to get to the quest and finish it as fast as possible. She didn't want to be known as the one who made Raidou wait.

  6. The NPC listens to the small gal, a bit unsure how to be of help to her. "Well, Vie, I don't know whether this has anything to do with this 'Gemini quest' you speak of, but I've heard that there's a peculiar cloaked creature going out and asking players to fight them near the ruins. Perhaps that might be good to have on your radar," Beatrice speaks while pulling out a turkey sandwich and splitting it into triangles, taking a seat at another side of the square table. She brings the sandwich up to her mouth and takes a bite into it.

The redhead listens to her words closely as the rain outside ceases its excessive amounts of noise against the roof. The sky seemingly clearer than it had been, Vie finnicks with her clothing trying to seem presentable, "Thank you for letting me stay here for a little while." The girl speaks, seemingly taking her leave. Beatrice calls after her in concern, "Do be wary if you plan to go after it, I don't want a horror story about your brutal death circulating. Take care of yourself, Y'hear?" Vie smiles, glad that this NPC had been so caring towards her as well as possible previous players. The woman had motivated her quite a bit, the girl had been thankful to her. She responds with, "Thanks Beatrice. Hope things get better for you," and waves as she exits the building to continue her quest.

  7. The NPC, had changed into dry clothes likely the same she originally had before they had gotten wet in the downpour. "This floor frequently rains. In response shops often close and reopen at strange times depending on the rain, it's a bad system- I know... We've just gotten used to it. It's sort of... bad for business hence the old architecture and historical inscriptions, that we're mostly known for..." The heavy woman says, floorboards creaking as she maneuvers around the kitchen fluidly as one might when they're used to the terrain. She reaches up to cover her mouth in a bewildered fashion, "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Beatrice. Pleasure to meet you. Why did you come here, player? Any particular reason or way I can help you?" Her hand returns to her side as she questions, going about her business and looking in the fridge for a snack as she had been a bit peckish.

As the female begins prattling on, Vie takes a step back to appreciate how she had made this little house her home. She had decorated it quite cutely, though obviously it's little old and rustic by nature. Vie then realizes that the woman had stopped talking, and begins her own introduction. "Ah, I'm Vie... An adventurer that wants to do the Gemini quest, is there any chance you would happen to know anything about that?" The redhead asks the NPC, tilting her head in curiosity.

  8. The redhead watches as Kiluia raises and points with his index finger towards the NPC, she nods and interacts with the male that has taken up residence at the peak of an extremely steep mountain for some unknown reason. The NPC tells Vie that she must split the boulder that's nearly as tough as an immortal object with her fists. He puts whisker-like marks on her cheeks with paint that Vie attempts to rub off, realizing that she cannot get it off. "They cannot be removed until the boulder is split," the male says, watching her movements. She returns to the white haired man's side while blushing slightly. "I... don't look weird do I? -Nevermind... let's just obliterate this thing," she's determined to get the paint off her face while hoping it really isn't permanent. The girl holds her fists around upper-torso level, a little unsure as to the proper stance to take or anything like that as she wasn't experienced in any physical fighting sorts of combat- nor combat in general honestly. Despite this, she attempts to run at the boulder and karate chop it hoping that it won't look foolish to Kiluia... And success! Vie manages to create a small scratch on the boulder, though this wasn't much she definitely felt some form of accomplishment after hearing that it's essentially an IMMORTAL OBJECT. Vie does a little victory fist bump in the air and looks at her friend as if hoping she'd be given some form of praise.

  9. "I can... relate. The majority of my "friends" in reality were there for the sake of sponging off good grades and such, so they weren't real ones. The only actual friends I've ever had are online ones," She spoke smiling as she neared the end of her dialogue. Her pace slowed down as she tried to catch her breath seeing the slope coming to a halt only a little further out. By the way Kiluia talked of the bluenette, you could tell he was quite fond of her- that their love is true. Vie felt some form of acceptance wash over her, each of them deserved such a wonderful relationship. "You're really lucky to have Haine- I'm sure it's absolutely blissful to relax with someone you love wholeheartedly," the redhead said in a sincere manner. "Am I cool with what, meeting new people? I... suppose I'm not opposed to it." Vie acted confused towards his question and laughed awkwardly a bit. "Hey, is it alright to be friends? Allies? To hang out together with you and Haine? I wouldn't be some sort of third wheel, would I? It's just... scary to be alone, to feel alone in this world. Though it's fantastical, it's also... deadly. I feel like I'd grow by your two's side, if you don't mind of course." she asked, a wizard at asking sincere questions that seemed perhaps a little too forward and real. She continued what felt like a lengthy ascent until- finally, finally, they had reached the foot of the hut. The girl sighed in relief.

  10. The pig whose comerades she'd killed was utterly infuriated, an adrenaline rushed throughout the creature which made its breathing shallow and allowed him to hone in on his target as well as the fight at hand. If he could communicate, he'd probably say something along the lines of "HEY, HOW DARE YOU. I'LL-I'LL KILL YOU. PUNY HUMAN," but instead the boar sort of tensed up for a moment- and then full throttle galloped towards Vie head-first, trying to get a hit in. Success! It pulled back and returned to its previous side, staying on high-alert.

Vie felt the tusks drive into her stomach, leaving scratches and scathes. She holds onto her injuries, feeling some form of loss and feeling a bit hopeless. 'It's just a one-hit boar, why should this be any difficult?' she thinks whilst her brow crinkles up a little more and her vision starts tunneling, at this point in time she should've taken a step back to breathe, but instead she ran towards the creature- watching as it moved away but unable to keep up with it. The two slashes of her sword became embedded into a nearby tree's bark instead. Vie suddenly realizes her fit of rage being- just sort of irrational. She takes a step back to reevaluate how she should handle the situation.

  11. Kiluia's hand was placed on her head, she stares at him pausing for a moment- her head spinning with thoughts despite her stillness. As he retracts his hand, Vie becomes unparalyzed and blushes slightly for a moment. Her hands roughly clasp the sides of her face twice and she returns back to "normal" (whatever that is, if that even exists). The redhead catches back up to him, keeping his pace even though her mind was racing. The white-haired male starts what seems to be his idea of a conversation, "Ahhh... lonesomeness a harsh topic for you I assume?" she says, speculating. "I was friends with a few beta testers, but I didn't know them personally," the girl explained. "How about you? How do you know Haine in the first place anyway? What sort of relationship do you have? " Vie asked, her curiosity eating at her as her now-widened eyes shimmered. She thought of many other questions, but she wasn't brave enough to ask any of them aloud, instead continuing towards the hut alongside Kiluia.

  12. As she gets closer and Kiluia begins to talk to her she responds to him with, "Ooh alright, I was wondering about where you were." A cheeky grin appeared on white-haired man's face as he spoke Vie slowly realized the mistake, her face reddens and she clears her throat "Uhm..." the redhead turns her head away slightly, trying to hide her embarrassment. "I may... have not noticed the path..." she stifles a laugh until it bursts, tearing up a little. Vie voices her self-deprecating nature aloud, "I'm a bit of a dummy at times..." wiping tears away. "Don't worry, now that we have the correct path, we can ascend," she says, trying to steer the conversation away from her error. Her feet move forward as she looks back, "What, too scared to join me or something? Slow poke," she pokes fun at Kiluia while sticking out her tongue in a playful manner and picking up the pace a little wondering if she had provoked him into a competition... In that case, Vie definitely didn't want to lose though she felt she might.

  13. Vie blushes at the compliments despite not being the biggest fan of Kiluia, she still felt flattered by the commentary. Perhaps she can be alright with the two being a couple, though she sort of feels a sense of loss for something she never could really attain. As the boar fell and disintegrated, the others oink in some form of distress grieving its comrade... While both boars were sort of provoked by Haine's taunting, they each target Vie- upset that she had killed their friend. The smarter of the two actually analyzes the situation, thinking about how one of their friends had been killed and trying to predict what she might do next. He charges towards her, its headbutt being successful. In the meantime, the other boar attempts to attack the girl as well- but fails instead. Their actions irritate Vie quite a bit. The redhead gets fired up, her brow furrowed- something in her heart aflame. Her grip tightens, breaths become shallow- as if just in this moment a comical explosion blew her head up. Nevertheless, the girl quickly slices twice into the mob that had hit her. It drops a material that she picks up as quickly as she killed it. One creature left to deal with and the quest would be complete.

  14. Vie's UI pings and she accepts the party request from Freyd- there was no doubt the four were going to face a frightening beast today... Well frightening for three of the four most likely. The girl stretches, feeling a bit of regret for not taking some sort of flask from the vault as she hadn't realized just how dry the environment would be. She probably should've taken Freyd's advice, the game was more realistic than she gave it credit for. Vie stood up from where she had been observing the sandstone environment and walked towards the meet up point finally, hoping she hadn't gotten the time wrong and that she wasn't too late. She spent a little time looking around for the mediocre man until she saw both Katoka and Freyd talking to each other. The small redhead waved as she approached the two, "Hello Katoka, Freyd!" She shouted at them before hearing Katoka voice a question, "I believe there's a pesky sandshark that's fit to stab." was her slightly concerning response, while she hoped to be of help to some degree. "Oh, and nice to see you again. Don't think this is the only quest we'll go on," Vie turns to Katoka and gives her a smile.

  15. Finally- she arrived at her destination... Rain begins falling through the canopy that she had thought was there to provide shade and cover- though it was terrible its job. She looks around town, realizing that most market stalls had been sort of abandoned as if on schedule with the rain. Seeing one person just seemingly closing up, she jogs towards them, panting when she arrives. "P-Please- I need shelter from the rain too. I'm unsure where there are any inns nearby. I'll be out of your hair when it clears up. Can you help me? Pretty pleaaase?" She asks in a rush, clearly just trying to escape from the rain as she didn't want to catch a cold or anything. The old lady NPC she had approached feels concern for the young redhead and allows her to take refuge inside her quaint residence, "Sure. The rain here doesn't last too long, the marketplace will likely reopen in a little while as it's not yet too late for customers," she says, reassuring the redhead that it isn't too late to have returned. Vie enters the residence, curious at all of the ancient artifacts she had strewed about while taking a seat at one of the edges of the wooden table near the NPC's kitchen. The old lady had been selling fruit, and her kitchen definitely reflected that. A large perhaps unhealthy amount of fruit in her fruit bowl, many pastry cook books, and furniture made of a brighter wood nearly the color of some sort of fantasy fruit Vie imagined.

  16. It was an unfamiliar feeling, and definitely an uncomfortable one. The feeling of moving in overwhelming heat and 'heavy atmosphere'. This dense jungle and humidity had been rather unhelpful, the large fertalage and fragments of nature impeding her vision while the heat and rain stifled her morale... Eventually she was just tired out and decided to turn back to the village's center to relax for a while, perhaps it would be cooler there where people knew how to survive in this sort of climate better and such. She stands up and dusts herself off a little, deciding to return to the floor's main settlement. Perhaps she could ask around about the quest as many adventurers likely have talked about it to them before. This would require that she dust off her socializing skills, but she didn't mind too much. Besides, perhaps they would have some new interesting things to say to her. Now hoping to socialize with the townsfolk in exchange for information, she quickens her pace hoping this would allow her to return faster rather than worn out.

  17. Vie continued to question where such a creature would be internally while clearing a path in the direction of where she felt might possibly house the enemy based on pure gut feeling alone. Though it was unlikely she find the enemy through this tactic, she felt like it was the best option. Besides, if worst comes to worse- she'll just turn back around and try again tomorrow. Eventually she and her blade come across various reptiles, the sound of a rattlesnake- a few small lizards crawling up the bark of nearby massive trees and some scuttering away from her on the ground. She moved fast- just a few minutes and she would have a couple feet cleared. Despite this she felt like she was getting nowhere- like this had all been for nothing internally. She sighs and takes a small break, sitting near the base of the tree and staring up at the canopy, wiping her forehead of the sweat that had gathered. The feeling of being rather drenched isn't very nice she began to realize.

  18. Though the quest diagnostics she'd examined at the guild hall had detailed the enemy she needed to fight in depth, they hadn't quite touched on the location the fight would take place at. She begins her endeavor by questioning where such a creature would be in the first place while venturing a little into the bush. Obviously the immense amount of overgrown nature- trees, stones, shrubs- would help them keep hidden, right? But where would the hide? Vie, though unsure, stayed determined to figure out their location. She began by overturning rocks, whacking branches out of her way, and cutting large tufts of grass that had emerged from the ground. Overall, though it was quite therapeutic to clean up the messy terrain, she felt hopeless when it came to actually completing the quest thus far. 'Perhaps they're further out,' she considered, expanding her search further from the main village that perhaps fended off the beast based off of pure population intimidation alone. If this was true, the mob being frightened of humans, surely it would hide from where humans would venture. So the mob has got to be where no user would dare go. Vie hadn't a clue where this would be, but she definitely intended on finding it.

  19. Vie continued her ascent- a continuous cycle of grabbing onto a stone ledge, finding a foothold, and pulling herself up. By the twelfth rotation she got a rather loud notification ping which startled her. The bit of rock she was trying to pull herself up to reach was suddenly further away, the new foothold had broken unable to carry her weight- before she realized it she was descending, a clod of dirt coming with her. Time slowed and she was in a desperate panic- she situated her body in a position that would cause the least amount of harm to it and made a shocked face towards the clouds above her that seemed full of water as they had grown greyer than they had been previously. And- she hit the ground. Luckily she landed on her bottom rather than her head. Not too far from the foot of the mountain, she sees Kiluia and awkwardly laughs off her fall while standing back up. Sort of rubbing her head and blushing out of pure embarrassment, she closes the distance between them and speaks, "Sorry, were you waiting too long? I was a little early... So I thought I'd try to scale a miniature version of what we'll be climbing today... Turns out that wasn't such a bright idea."

  20. The other day Freyd had given her the advice to take The Gemini quest as soon as possible with an immolation potion. She had done a little bit of research in the guild hall alongside Katoka, and even asked Raidou what he would recommend to yoink from the vault to take with her. He had given her a very valuable piece, one that had been aged and treasured. A minimalist design leaving no room for gaps, yet not impeding its user's range of movement. As its item type suggests, it's a hefty item- but it would supposedly be extremely helpful for this quest in particular. The redhead was in no way doubting the information she had been given or any story told about it. She was definitely sure that it would hold up to its legend. Vie stood appreciating her guild's generosity in the middle of Krycim, the floor's main settlement. She felt entirely sure of herself as if she were invincible with this gauntlet, sure that she would return it back to its rightful owner afterwards.

  21. The next thing she heard wasn't from Freyd, rather the bluenette she had met the other day. "I WASN'T INVITED?!" Her voice boomed, the words echoing throughout the guild hall, after a moment that same white-haired male joined Haine at the entrance as if they had been attached at the hip all along. "Fairly certain it was more of a spur-of-the-moment thing actually," Vie responds though quiet enough that it went unnoticed among the crowd. Freyd gets to answering her questions, and Vie nods along. She begins considering the use of consumables despite having always been quite bad at utilizing them. He doesn't really address certain questions, but she leaves him alone as to hopefully not irritate him with another interrogation as she felt she might.

Vie watches as Haine interacts with the corset cord while thinking, 'Wow, Haine could pull off just about anything can't she...' Despite the girl saying it's not her style. The redhead notices as the bluenette lessens the gap between them. Her cheeks grow flushed, "Yeah, Vie..." She spoke while feeling like this situation had been a bit familiar. Speaking of which, Haine's familiar was quite adorable despite it seeming sort of unhappy in her arms. She takes Haine up on the offer though she wasn't sure if the bluenette had been talking to her or not, patting the distressed polar bear. "It's fluffy!" She says feeling a sort of bliss through touching its fur. "fuwa fuwa~" She says to herself (though aloud unknowingly) whilst smiling... Before she spaces out too much more, she retracts her hands from the bear and watches as another seemingly experienced woman enters looking eerily similar to Katoka despite not being Katoka. She, too, wishes to help it seems- but Vie feels like she's quite alright and on the track to knowing what exactly she plans to do.

She pauses for a moment, turning back to Katoka, "Contact me whenever you happen to be free, alright? We definitely have to do some quests together. Maybe we can even have lunch together one day or something. It'd be nice." She grins, thankful that she got to spend some time with the cute blonde. Yet another person begins introducing themselves... Vie grows a little overwhelmed by the amount of people, still an introvert at heart. "If you excuse me, I'm gonna go look for what Freyd recommended I use on those quests," the redhead says, though a part of her wants to stay with Katoka just to ensure that she too wouldn't feel overwhelmed. She had seemed so nervous earlier after all. She clasps Katoka's hands in her own whilst assuming that this is a normal action as Haine had done this before without thinking anything of it, "But before that- if you happen to grow anxious again, feel free to call for me. alright?"

(OOC: I feel bad for such long posts, but I want to respond to as many people as I can x-x)

  22. Vie peers over at the petite swordswoman talking to herself and smiles stifling a laugh, 'cute sight to behold. Sort of anime-esque,' she thinks while drawing parallels to certain offline (non-SAO) things. She returns her attention to searching through the possible quests, "Katoka- this one looks quite promising," she spoke in an excited tone while happy at the thought of partying up with someone of similar level. "Nature's Treasure, says here that it's good for material gathering. Might be useful in the future for our professions and such. I plan on becoming a performer!" The redhead says, feeling proud that she had thought of such things a little ahead of time.

She looks over to Freyd whilst he begins prattling on about guild things once more. While she wanted to continue interacting with Katoka, she also knew the value of the information the experienced man could provide and begins with her innumerable questions, "If I may ask- How many low-level players do you recommend we take on the Secret Medicine of the Forest quest? How soon should we confront our geminis? Are there any other quests that're best to complete sooner rather than later?" She takes a breath for a moment- stepping back and hoping that Katoka isn't intimidated, she definitely didn't want to be seen as strange to the attractive swordswoman. Vie returns her attention to the male in front of her- "I'm h-honestly... A little scared... Perhaps my build or the way I play won't fit in with others. How can I do my best to be of use if I lack in damage? Are there sort of 'trials' of being in particular divisions just in case you're unsure? Is there any way that I can feel a little less behind everyone else? I want... to do my best to be of use." She states her insecurities aloud for the first time in a while out of a certain desperate state, sinking into a feeling of loss and estrangement despite the fact that she hadn't necessarily been abandoned exactly.

  23. Kiluia asks a good question which interrupts her rather lengthy train of thought that honestly probably needed to be interrupted. "Ah, I'd prefer that you step in when or if the mobs become too difficult to handle. Otherwise, you're basically free to do whatever you'd like," the redhead states, glad that Kiluia seemed to care about what she wished for. "Again- thank you for helping me. It's really nice of you to do so. I can't say that enough," she says with a cheerful tone and a meek though genuine smile towards the two. She then turns her attention back to the task at hand, determined to finish the quest as quickly as possible so they can return to whatever they had scheduled for today as she assumed experienced players were busybodies. Vie drew her rapier from its blue and silver-detailed schethe, watching the blade sort of glint as the rays of sunlight from the sky bounce off of it and the embedded text becomes visible, in wait of a provoked mob. She walks deeper into the abandoned though fruitful forest hoping the two are trailing behind her in case mobs become a little too difficult to handle while catching a glimpse of a mob on the prowl to the left of her peripheral vision. The redhead quickly lunging towards the creature hoping to get a decent hit in.

As she slashes twice at the target and loots it, its corpse falls and disintegrates bursting into millions of shiny shapes. A realization comes upon her- there happens to be a few more than one single mob here. Vie hadn't anticipated it, but apparently she's strong enough to handle one on her own quite easily- why should this be any more difficult? She continues what she had initially set out to do, the number of mobs not detering her decision.

  24. Vie hears the notification noise that meant she had a message in her inbox, but ignores it for a while. Out the door she went, the sun high though hidden by clouds, its beams no longer stretching down to the vast lands below as they had in the morning. The cycle of stretching, yawning, and rubbing her eyes continues until she reaches the foot of the mountain this so-called quest is supposed to be accepted upon. It is at this point that she opens the previously sent message, skims it, and thinks to herself 'Welp, I guess I'm a little early then.'
She considers heading back and getting another cup of caffeine, but decides it's for the best that she doesn't whilst swiping the text away and switching gears to thinking about sightseeing as she seemed to have some time on her hands. Deciding to take this time to test some of the game's mechanics, she made up her mind to scale a mountain. Though smaller than the other, it could provide useful information that would help scale the larger one with Kiluia without looking like a fool in front of him. Instead of taking time to relax at the foot of the landform, she begins her miniature off-course adventure. Having attempted to conquer rock climbing courses before, this wasn't necessarily an introduction to the concept of ascending things. And off she begun. First she reached up and grasped at a mound of sorts she judged as well-attached to the mountain, she had ended up grasping a ridged mucky-mossy but this didn't deter her completely (though it did gross her out slightly). She was now determined to ascend atop this mound. Next Vie searched for some kind of foothold and nestled her faux leather boot into the crevice she felt was more stable...

  25. Having ascended a floor from the previous, the redhead stretches and awakens- feeling rather rejuvenated and productive after yesterday. She spends time thinking about how she had met her guildies, and how she had perused the documents containing helpful information about quests whilst heading to the ground floor of the inn and getting some coffee to consume at her leisure. Lounging on one of the comfy pieces of furniture, she props her feet up and takes a moment to enjoy the view of the mountainous landscape. She remembers something she had to do today that sort of awakens her internal anxiety (though unhelpful for actually awakening her). "Kiluia," Vie muttered verbally without fully realizing so. She shoots a lethargic message towards him confirming the impending meet up.

Just confirming- 10 am to scale the mountain, correct? Let's get some lunch together afterward or something, maybe fight yogi. I'm looking forward to it. c:

She rubs her eyes, waits for a response, and looks at the time. Around forty-five minutes to get to the starting point. Vie quickly consumes the rest of the beverage and manually moves herself out the door and towards the gathering point.
