Standard Recovery +2 EN, Recovery | ID: 252477, CD: 3 (No Proc)
With Gaius now up in the air, Celeste rampages in without a second of pause or care. The team was fighting what seemed like an endless battle and yet the woman couldn't be more in her element, her energy was low but she found this constant power struggle to be energizing and exciting. It was a far cry from ship navigation or low end diplomacy. Celeste always felt more alive at a battlefield, dealing with problems head on and directly without having to wait days to see results. A spark of azure flames breathing on her armiger, wash in cardinal more then happy to oblige her request for bloodshed. The blade breathes in a dimly lit crimson beneath the azure, showing that a sword art had sprang to attention. A jerk and wide swooping cleave explodes out in a twirl, sending flames out in an equivalent discharge. The creatures within range are carved to pieces without even the slightest difficulty, being reduced to shards in a splattering show of carnage.

Celeste's eyes darted to each creature that came up from the ashes. In an instant they were like annoying red fireflies. With ease each swing and cleave through the air causing one after another to burst into nothing. The remaining one seemed to be trying to make an escape for their life. She started to run toward it but again in a blink of an eye she was right next to it as it eats shit from her blade. Glancing back the silhouette took a blue form as a trail of blue flames trail front it to here. Shaking her head, she was still unsure how the hell it works but she really wasn’t surprised by it anymore. It happened more often than not but only in combat. That was the one thing that she did know. Confusion aside she glances around for her next target to slaughter. A few steps forward as ash explodes right in front of her covering her in soot. “Where are you, you piece of shit?"

The creature in front of her explodes into ice chunks causing Celeste to cover her face as to not be the target of collateral damage. When she brings her head back up the environment has shifted slightly from what it was just five seconds prior. That was when she heard Raidou call out, right after an explosion from behind her followed by shrieking of several new enemies that made her angrily turn to get a view of them.
Right then she would begin to run toward them as they were a few yards away from her still. Suddenly, time would stop for only a second as she was intently in the thick of them all. Behind her would be a silhouette of her frame where she was as blue flames trail the path to where she ended up. Carving her cleave through each tiny flaming bird body. She would randomly teleport one more time behind one of the creatures, confusing it completely as it tried to fireball the blue silhouette in front of them with no connection. She would strike it hard against the spine before it would explode into small shards that floated down slowly around her.

With her temperament already nursed to a roaring flame through argument with the cold one, Celeste's cleaver rips to life in azure flames in a coalescing vortex. The hefty sword forms in her right hand, her left claiming the space above it and her hands tighten. Tight enough that her knuckles go white. Her body starts to move but then a sputter of that same color sets her shoulders in kindle, her eyes flare in a rich light blue. Her frame transitions to a incorporeal blue trail, a hollow glass like copy left behind in the space she left. A strand of azure drawing her in the air in a blink, as the mirror image of her body disappears. A heavy downward cleave knocks the Phoenix out of the air like swatting a fly, sending it with enough force to crack stone and break bones. A detonation of azure flames engulfs them both as she drives Wash in Cardinal through its chest dropping like a meteor, her teeth clenched and a cut of red on her lip showing it caught in that pressure. "Get up bitch!" Celeste shouts with a male voice spoken beneath her own in tandem, her eyes drunk in a violent fury and tempered by the father.

Wearing a sour expression plastered across her face, the woman hadn't had a breather in some time. The heat of war still licked at her heels, and the stress of such affairs had left her tightly wound and looking for an outlet. Her thoughts brought her to the guild hall, something simple her desire. Within the halls she'd find all manner of players still walking too and from various doors and rooms. A limp glance toward the table, shuffling papers around and picking one at random. Eyes trace the outlined information confirming the targets weakness and a deeper dive into nuance. Nothing that really concerned the woman, only the location and something to do that wasn't riddled with politics. "Who's in?" She'd quip holding up that sheet of paper to make it more visible to the others. Other players within the hall would begin to pause, joining up in a small gathering and producing invites in a hearty harvest.

Description: For the most ruthless, the ones that see the quickest victory in decimating the opposition. Leaving all sense of concern or worry behind, every swing is filled with an undeniable rage and bloodlust. Enemies won't know what hit them.

A smoldering airship careens off to one side. Burning engines burst and fill the airspace with smoke, as fires rage across its top and the metal glows bright orange in superheated weakness. Celeste stands stalwart at the edge of the Blood Raven, looking over the side with her hands pressed into the railing of her own ship. Aboard its surface lay all manner of crates and barrels, sacks of coin and flour in a ripe pile. Deckhands rush back and forth, slowly shrinking that pile as its buried into the ships cargo hold. A pounding of blue light streaks fast causing the woman's hair to flutter in an angry rip and sway, but she seems unfazed outside of it. A thunderous boom follows shortly after, revealing a silver decked airship sleek in design. A hatch at its back rips open, and Celeste reaches to her left and grabs a handful of chain. Tossing it down like an anchor, the silhouette of a man latches onto the chains and tugs to have it retract.
Landing with a solid thud at her side, a man sporting brown hair and a cocky grin. "How does it feel?" Celeste asks in a somewhat commanding tone to the new gentlemen. "Its still a little too slow for my liking, think I need another couple of recyclers and to change that hull out." He returns as he turns to look off the side and match her perspective. "The Tempest seems to be fast enough, that dreadnaught couldn't even keep its sights on you. Worked well as cover. Nicely done, Adonis" Celeste remarks tapping the man twice on his shoulder as she'd turn toward the deck of her ship. There was a lot of ill gotten gains to sort through, and more shock and grabs to perform for the day. "We'll keep an eye out for any more aetherium, and any more mithril. That's what you need?" The pirate queen asked, confirming their previous conversation.

I keep Ladonia off your back and keep it functional, and you pilot for a good cause. Don't make me regret it... Or you better learn how to fly without it." Adonis swallows hard and grabs his shoulder, it burning lightly from old wounds, and with a heavy laugh and a smile Celeste taps his harm lightly for her which is like getting punched by a boxer. "Lighten up, Donny. It was a joke. Mostly. It's fine Shaw is already working on the blueprints we stole from the Ifrit before it vanished. Only a matter of time..." Celeste trails off. "Get back on your ship, Adonis. It's time to cause more chaos and piss of Vex some more." Up to the helm of her ship, she raises a fist high and a spark of blue flame ignites it like a torch.

Down the chain of her own airship finding the usage of the air space a rather interesting development, given getting hers between floors was a damn nightmare that took weeks of active development. It wasn't that unorthodox to assume that another player could in fact reach the same capability, moreover given that a fair portion of the designs were charted by NPC deckhands it wouldn't be that obtuse to assume that the conclusions were reached nearly the exact same way. The one off invitation did throw her for a bit, having barely scratched the paint near Oscar like one fucking time. But free food and drink? A little R&R. Best not overthink shit too deeply. Changing clothes into something she'd stolen like a month ago, and tailor fit about 10 days ago.
However given her 'no fucks' stance, enjoying what little break from an active warzone that she could muster. To which battles were nearly constant, and the bounty was plenty but so too was the exhaustion riddled nights. Her place on the beach within decent earshot as minute social discord flowed without barrier:
"So if you're cool, be cool. Get yourself a drink, eat some food. Don't make me have to come back over here again. This is your one. Everyone gets one, you just burned yours."
As if right on queue, the woman just couldn't contain her irritation or her interest in seeing a full send pit fight as a form of entertainment. Yelling without an ounce of fuck to be had, a full on fuck deficiency and a taste of a total lack of filter she'd respond to them both without even getting up. "Break your foot of in his ass, won't figure it out until he can taste sand." The woman barked tilting her head back, folding back up with her backhand comment stinking in the air like an overly pungent perfume.

Once confirmed, players may use the item to provide a buff to their characters once per thread. Other players can be affected by this item’s effects (eg. feasts, mass healing crystals), but the item cannot be used in combat. This item is tradable until an item has been evaluated on it, and a character can never own more then 1 evaluated Gungir's Shard at a given time. This item can be reset by paying 100,000 col to have it reset which will allow a new item to be cached in it but it will remain character bound. -
Picking up a handful of crates, she would move them to the shifting area. She had to help with the grunt work, Lium still had yet to find replacements for the six jack offs that decided that it was a great idea to back talk to Lium while she was gone. It resulted in his throwing them off the ship. Setting the containers down and heaving a large back of something. “God this is heavy, what the hell is in this?” saying as she peaks into it. A bag of apples, a huge fucking bag of apples. “NOBODY.” screaming for the guy that literally does nothing on the ship. You see a head pop out of a barrel with the lid as a hat. “Did you do this you fuck?” Nothing will answer with the shake of his head and suddenly pop right back into his hole. She never understood that. He had this entire boat to trail around in and he decided to make the weird shaped containers his home. Skating her head, trying to figure out who in god's name would put a huge bag of apples in the wrong spot in the ship knowing that it was going to be heavy as hell. “LIUM.” calls out in rage that echoes the entire ship.
After a few minutes Celeste is standing there with her arms crossed as her right foot taps on the wooden floor. Lium peaks around the corner with a glaring face staring back at him. All she does is point, “I’m assuming one of those dumb fuckers did this, deal with it.” She walks off. Lium looks in the back, shaking his head, twists the top and heaves it over his shoulders like it was nothing. Celeste hears one of the men up front call for her in a panicked manner. She pulls her blade out knowing exactly what was needed. Running to the rope, she unhinges the metal causing the ladder to fall with a -clank- to the ground. With a leap of the side, she slides down one side of the ladder like it was a single vain. She could hear howling and growling in the tree line. “Here doggy doggy doggy.” calling out as she rushed into the fray.
Pulling up her cleaver, she stops with a slide. Looking deep within the large trees, hearing rustling of bushes in the distance. With a sudden burst of energy she vanished. Appearing with a huge burst of flames, right next to a group of four wolves. The fire didn’t seem to do any damage to the forest life, she was expecting this was going to be the case. Day by day she was getting used to whatever was going on with her. Slashing through each creature like butter as they jump at her bearing teeth, she was all too familiar with it. Every morning afternoon and night, the same pack of wolves showed up like clock work. Guess she lost track of time, she would have been on them before they became a bigger threat. Putting her cleaving on her back, she heads back. She would finish helping with the chores before truly heading out. She sure hoped that Lium would find new recruits soon so that she could skip this step in the morning.

That striking red head comes roaring through and aims for center mass, narrowly avoiding an actual tear and space time that just forms on her flank. "Holy shit dude." She barks at Freyd quickly checking her body to make sure she still had all her limbs, and all her fingers. Her momentum broken, she turns and finds nothing more then a waiting fist that decks her one, sending her rolling and that heavy weapon of hers slamming point first into the stone. The massive hand pinning her prone, she has her hands clutched tightly to its index and pinky. For some players, that would probably work. For Celeste? The woman grits her teeth, lifts her ass and forcibly rips it up off her and heaves it clean through two pillars and right into Freyd's Dark Hole.
"You thought.... You thought wrong." Celeste rips in a snide comment as she pants heavily, having just matched brawn with something easily ten times her size and had won. Fucking barbarians man, all muscle no brains.

The tiny flags flapping around angrily as a siren started to fill the large empty chamber. The little flounders sporting firearms start to unload in their direction causing the players to scatter. Celeste barrels for a collapsed column, pressing her back into it as she knelt low. The moment she had the moment to channel her strength, she'd wait for them to close in. Counting the seconds, she'd wait for the sound appear nearby. Up and over in one fluid motion, she dumps the weapon into the pack with relative ease. Although her accuracy was a little off kilter, the sheer ungainly load blown was more then enough to send bits of fish flapping across the room with bits of broken stone. What remained was a mulch of chum sprayed across the floor that lingered for far too long. Celeste would continue through, seeking out cover before she'd be the brunt of unwanted attention.

She was more than familiar with this quest objective by now, and by the beach guardian's little ploy to allow its smaller versions to rush off like the small hand spiders in legend of zelda. They'd look out a log or a stone and start nursing themselves back into a massive crab again, which is why every damn day there was always another one ready to start trying to gank them again. A fact that was actually very obnoxious. Spotting some movement, she'd point off with a grit of her teeth locking eyes with her compatriots. If just once they could actually stop them all, then this damn mess wouldn't nearly as bad. It could even save them a couple hours of wasted time.

The heat building on her blade starts to create a mirage effect as it bleeds into the air surrounding it. Gaius had fell, Griswold had it locked in place. Now was her time to act in this constant assault. Her cleaver sputters then sparks to life in cobalt blue flame, and within seconds a trailing flicker of her body as her afterimage turns into a transparent blue hue, sending her spiraling in next to Gaius and dumping a slash of that same blue flame in a wide vertical arc. The wave trails across its flesh and causes it to start to brown and darken, being basically flash cooked in an instant. The cleaver retracts and finds itself slung over the womans right shoulder as she leaps off of the crabs back, landing into the sand with a solid thud. The raging red hair of a roiding out barbarian broad comes out of the forest like a stomping bull. There wasn't even the slightest bit of chill, but she was clearly amped. This obviously not her first rodeo, and the girl was already three steps into the encounter before it even began. That massive slab of metal of hers drops into the sand with a heavy thud, sending a bit up into the air as it collides. Digging in her heels, she doesn't even bother to look toward the white haired woman at this point. Because every time they came here, the very next step was dealing with the giant fucking crab that would pop out of the sand like a damn piston in an engine. Flames slide down the length of the blade in a faint flicker, burning softly as her energy would gather at the base of the handle. She was hot and bothered, ready to start with the bloodbath.

Celeste starts running from the other side of the room, “Coming through, move,” calling out as she was leaping over chairs before poofing with a “FU.” the moment she reappears in front of the big guy, she cleaves a large gash against his chest. The humanoid figure only takes a deep breath before that flame on top of his head begins to sizzle back to life. The thing pulls his torches toward his head to relight what was put out. “What the hell is this place, this is not what I imagined when I opened the map.” Pure confusion painted on her face, how did that woman do it? Make the maps go to wherever she needed them to go. Did she break the system, most of those magical places Celeste had never heard about. It was like being in a game with two game masters but one doesn’t know about the other. Who the hell was Nisahime, and why the fuck is she here?

Holding the paper in hand, Nisahime had given it to her. It came to a shock, why would they allow her to open it. She didn’t know how it worked, what if she brought them to a place that they couldn’t come back from. Closing her eyes thinking of a place, holding the map both hands as she takes a deep breath. She could feel the ground beneath her feet get harder, opening her eyes it was a black marble flooring. A large table sat in the middle with a huge fish tank that had these things with what looked like millions of teeth crammed roughly and out of order in their face. Suddenly they all start to jump out one by one, chomping their faces at Celeste. “OH FUCK NO,” saying as sword arts start flying out of her weapon left and right, they had to be dead like yesterday. There was no way that she was going to let them touch her. After a moment of silence they hear a chuckle from an unknown source. Where the hell did she bring them?

Rushing toward the large thing at full force now, no hold bar. Slamming into the creature she cleaves it hard which turns into a spin creating a deeper carve. With an upcut as blood spray everywhere, going right into a jumping attack. Upon that last impact it finds the crab no longer living. She looks down at the red soaked red outfit. It looked pretty cool but if these clothes were left anywhere Lium would find them and wash them. He was becoming quite the neat freak. Celeste was sorta hoping that today would be an easy day just for once. There was some stuff that she wanted to do that didn’t involve killing a crab for the remainder of the day. Throwing the large blade up, holding it against her shoulder. She knew what came next so she would take time to glance around to find the tiny little critters.

The last to make an attack, sliding and jumping onto the crabs back that had no shell. It was very clear where she had to attack. Chopping deep within the veins on top of the creature, it wailed in pain and like a horse it started rapidly moving around trying to buck her off. She decided to jump off before that happened. It kept jumping an inch off the ground as it ran halfway across the sanded floors just to get away. “I guess he didn’t like his acupuncture treatment,” shrugging her shoulders. She was standing still now watching the creature fling itself around the sandy floors. It was kicking the sands everywhere. She had to cover her face and back up so that she didn’t get it in places she didn’t want it. The crab was getting further and further away, whatever would they do? Celeste would get ready to charge right for the thing, she couldn’t believe she was waiting to blast this creature away.

In two days they went from having a ten man crew to five. They needed more people that were not such dumb asses or lazy and she was by no means a people person. The recruiting would be Lium's job, somehow he really did have a way with people. Question is why was he sticking around if they were such polar opposites. She was so angry all the time and could outburst at any time from anything, but Lium was always so calm and collected. It wasn’t that he just wanted to live on a ship. Curiosity gets stuck in her head as she thinks about why he was okay with having the orange marker. Unconvinced by her surroundings nor even giving herself a moment to even give a damn, the woman saw movement. That weapon of her flares and flashes hot, sending a massive wave of heat throughout the giant bowl. It glows in a bright cobalt blue light. The walls start to glow red hot, as do the floor, making them all count their blessings that they were wearing shoes. The creatures inside start to bubble and screech, turning much blacker then they were prior. It was clearly uncomfortable, given they didn't hold the same protection. "Heh." The girl remarks with a short laugh, obviously mixed with a bit of snark. "Don't like the heat. Get out of my kitch... er..." A glance to Gaius she'd aim for a more fitting catch phrase. "Pot." The other party members grimmace. "Oh come on it wasn't that bad." A little peeved that she fucked up the delivery. "Damn it."

That bombastic woman would have attentions rip immediately to see where Griswold was pointing. "Yeah Yeah, got them old timer." She'd bark back in response and drop the hammer of that weapon, and start to drag it through the screwed up terrain. Right through the little pack, at the end of her rush she'd twist and rip the weapon upward. The creatures caught where it is upheaved are equally dispersed. They are flung like a shotgun blast out toward the sea at high speed. Celeste presses her hand to the ridge of her brow, shielding her eyes from the sun to get a clearer view. They slam into the water with enough force to basically make it concrete, shown by the little blue flashes way off in the distance. "Got um." She'd offer unknowing that there were two trailing behind her feet, tip toeing as to not be discovered by her.

The airship loomed in a large drawn shadow that took a fair portion of the sky with it. Despite the floor not having much in the way of daylight, what little it held was cut away by the wooden underbelly of a very old merchant vessel turned guerilla wartime vehicle. The NPC would work to man its helm and keep it aloft, while the red head would seek out one of the many side reels. A wench of chains, grasped in her right hand as she'd glance over the side. Wrapped around her wrist, the woman tosses her legs over the side and enters a freefall with tether. The thing offers some resistance to slow her descent, rattling on as it worked like a fishing line as it spun. Eventually her leather heel combat boots would find purchase into the squishy swamp, wistfully releasing the chain as she soon as she is stable. The thing retracts of its own volition, sending it away under tension and back into its spool.
Where she'd landed? A rundown pile of rotted out wood and stone, providing her little encouragement. It wasn't often her raids extended to something so utterly mundane, leaving her with a lack of confidence that she'd find much outside a few rotted out bags of flour. A foot raised as she'd approach the first door of many, slamming that boot of hers into brittle wood. A door and a fair chunk of adjacent wall are tossed into a spray of splinters and shrapnel, proving once again the bulls subtlety. What stared back at her was decayed wardrobes, rundown bed frames where the cloth had long since deteriorated to strips of frayed linens. The red head moves for the first and starts to slide open drawers, loud and without tact. Some don't even remain in the furniture and are tossed straight behind her, exploding into data or shattering into pieces. Fully emptied, the woman hefts the thing over her head and tosses it clean out the battered and broken roof. The wardrobe sticks in the mud, standing up on its side like a tombstone. "What a fucking mess." The woman barks tossing a bundled up ball of fabric out a window, breaking the glass as it does. Using her weapon like a prybar, that ungainly cleaver of hers to start cutting up floorboards. "How the fuck did I get roped into this?" Celeste boasts in an irritated scoff, using both hands to rip out sections of the woodwork piece by piece. That irritation would persist as she'd start rampaging and getting more and more destructive, throwing furniture and storage vessels out any and every orifice that tiny home could muster. A good twenty minutes or so of crap being piled around the house like a makeshift stonehenge made of broken furnishings, the woman wrestles the bed over her head. "Mother fucker, You'll know it when you see it? Bitch do I look like..." The sentence breaks away as she stares @Mari straight in the face through one of the many broken windows.
"Sup?" she comments as she tosses the bed frame over the wall causing it to crumble in the yard.
