A flare forces it to change shape, being restored to a usable state as appraisal triggers. Her HUD pops a few new menus, a diagnostic of its quality, its tier and its effects. "Also trash." Celeste remarks with a quick peruse of what it held in store. It wasn't that bad, but it also wasn't anything that was in demand. It could easily be reproduced by just about anyone. But out of everything this piece seemed the most likely to be the one she kept of the bunch. With that notion, it malformed into a battle axe like her own. "But fuck it, might as well." Celeste dumps it to the floor with a clatter, it could take it. To the rag, the last one left for her to deal with. Greedily Billy was eyeing everything, knowing full well that whatever she didn't choose he'd get to keep after she was done.

Celeste triggers the given skill, plucking up the first of the three, and instantly receives a readout at what it did. "Well, that's crap, I know garbage when I see it." The red head remarks toward the NPC who does not really respond to her disgust. Her eye was lit up, but due to the color, it didn't really change at all. She already had an iris of that shade. A dump of the piece onto the floor she shifts through, the shield itself had since lost its rust but even still it was not worth keeping. Wrapping her fingers around the sword, a little crackle of the sand and debris that still lingered on it connecting on the wood floor below. "One down, so I guess just these other two right?" Celeste asks Billy who nods, being less talkative than he normally was. Another trigger of the given skill, begins to analyze it as well.

As she disturbs its resting place, a final piece lay dormant underneath it. A reach down and a solid tug, reveals a ragged looking rag. "Hope these will suffice, I don't really care what they do." Celeste remarked toward Zuggtmoy who climbs her boots into her pant legs, understanding that its owner was intending to head back into town. Through the marble streets, back into the building where Billy hid. The barkeep pays her a nod as she ushers into the back room. Billy perks up expectantly and Celeste dumps a pile of crap on his floor, dirt and all. He eyes it curiously, if he wasn't an NPC he would have surely questioned her validity and actual interest. But he smiles and begins to show her how to trigger appraisal. His eyes wash with a gold, and a prompt on her screen makes the skill available to her to use.

It slithers away as quick as the first time, leaving Celeste standing there with a rusted board. She follows it and finds it bubbling and worming away beneath a large rounded stone. Lifting her right foot and pushing it with her heel, she rolls it slightly. Sticking out beneath it looks like some fragmented and tarnished blade. "That's two, this shit is easy." Celeste remarks reaching down and plucking the old worn metal from the earth. A smattering of soil falls as it's removed from being forgotten for so long. The red head couldn't help but think that she'd made the right choice, she shuttered at the thought of the other quests and their difficulty. Zackariah's had been a practice in frustration. It was a nice change of pace to have this going so smoothly, after all she had been through with the previous links in the tutorial chain the last few days.

Following the nav it provided, to the quest board first as a form of confirmation of her intentions. She scrolls through and selects the one that looked the least annoying of the bunch. This one just looked like picking up a few lumps from the wilds and bringing them to some kid. But first, she'd have to go and meet with him. Outside the walls of the city, to the wilds she'd become more familiar with as of late. To a large tavern outside of the normal scope, to a back room where she meets with little Billy. One annoying development later, and it was clear he was out of what he needed to teach her. She didn't care, she just wanted a building to cram full of things.
On his behest, she begins to scour the lush green for little goofy trinkets. Exploiting Zuggtmoy in a rolling metal detector, she walked slowly and allowed it to crawl around and search for her. She was not a gatherer. It brings back a rusted old table, obviously some sort of shield "Sure that will work, go get some more crap." She ordered the familiar.

A wander through being bogged down by the excessive amount of crap that kept cluttering her, all this junk was proving to be a pain in the ass on her encumbrance. Celeste couldn't stand it, and a visit to the barkeep below her acquired slum room she asks. "You got a place I can store all of this?" She opens her inventory and begins to scroll page after page. The NPC chuckles. "Nope, looks like someone needs a store."
The red head raises a brow.
"A store, yeah that could work. Basically a crap closet. I can get behind that." And as if in response, a quest was given to her. Seems it was part of the tutorial quest chain she couldn't stand. As it would appear, it lead to a boy named Billy. "Guess that's it, don't get shanked or anything while I am gone?" The girl was referring to his rowdy patrons.

A ring of the threshold brings her into the building that smelled not unlike a coffee shop, to a glass container and a point. A floral scent begins to bleed through the place, the mixture of herbs and the like lingering beneath the much stronger beans. It was an odd combination. A manifest of a few pouches of coins pulled tight and passed across a wooden top. A couple of vials of liquid with a white texture that was almost like milk. "Potions really are weird." Celeste quipped to the ring of the entry announcing her escape back into the birth of the town of beginnings.

A visit back to the place she had found before, being the only body here to claim what the guy had in store. The male didn't seem to be bothered by the lack of customers in the slightest. A notion the Celeste could really get behind, doing what he wanted despite whatever the response of the world to it may have been. Collecting a large birth of what she'd reaped by accident alone, she ushers them to Daemien and makes a large exchange. To support his efforts, she'd be back after not too long. And perhaps next time, she may just clean him out completely.

"Yep got it handled." Celeste remarked toward the blonde as she began to exit. With a sudden jerk and a spray of cables from her back, they latch the environment around her in a network. From her lower back, she raises, as it peels away everything in range. Dragging in twigs branches and the like in a tug. A discharge in one sweep that held enough power to cut the very air with its tear. A dump of all her stamina in one swing, the trees shift and spray leaves. Birds flee. A spring and a line jump from her right shoulder, transforming into an anchor and she dumps the head into the largest pulled object as it pulls her forward. A heavy pant, sweat lining her head as her face is revealed beneath the folds that covered it. A shutter of her shoulders as the thing begins to finds the folds of her armor, disappearing from view. "That's what I was going for." as it held to his host, waiting for the next command.

As the surface of liquid crawled back toward the red head. "Basically." Celeste remarks toward the blonde. "This one seems to give me harder swings, but it seriously peels my stamina. I was already having issues with it." An extension of her right arm forces it to wrap around her hand like a glove. Pouring down her frame and up her arm, it begins to form that suit of clothing in organic material. A layer on what was already there.
A rise to her feet and a reaffirm of her strength. "It's just about there, just figuring it out. Doesn't really need teaching. Just a meld of minds, like a gun it was already ready to fire." A flip of her wrists forces an axe to form down the length of her hands. A violent hum as a charged sword art begins, a burning in crimson light washes the head beneath its opacity.
-
With a spin of her head she looks Freya over as she arrives "Yeah, you figure your's out?" Celeste was really feeling the temperature allowing it to ooze off of her as she stepped out of it. A mental trigger causing it to do so. A soft exhale as she breathed easier, the breeze was comforting. It bubbles and begins to trickle toward her, a manifested head morphs out of the puddle. It looks to Freya, producing a smile in a sinister looking face with jagged teeth. With a piercing pair of glowing orange eyes that matched Celeste's, it was clear it was a part of her. A pet reflected its owner "Mine is this thing, Zuggtmoy. Careful he may bite." She parks her ass on the ground rather abruptly to catch her breath. This thing was draining once it left and it had almost left her completely tapped to use it as she had.
-
A spin of the weapon around, the head twirling allowing a film of stone to fall from the lines between before dispersing into data. The red flare draws a trail from its extraction before fading away like a light switch had been toggled off. Her skin felt almost on fire, it appeared that the faster she moved the hotter it cooked. It had a way of putting her on edge, the temperature almost causing her blood to boil. A glance to her health bar just as a precaution, no damage had been done within its encapsulated grasp. But that heat was almost undeniable in its presence. "Now what?" Celeste quipped to the empty field that she was making a good job of beating the literal crap out of with multiple swings and displays of what exactly Zuggtmoy was capable of doing. The words fall on deaf ears, for there was no one within range to listen.

It slings while constricting her target, as she rips back her left elbow. It begins to reel as if on a hitch, drawing a line in the ground as it traveled. A sudden jump closes the distance at the lack of any resistance. A shift of her hands forces the line to move to her waist. it retracts quickly and as she raises her hands her axe appears overhead, and a solid plunge of the steel dumps a powerful slam into the soil below. It destroys the stone, the earth beneath it and rattles the trees nearby. "That's more like it. Good shit." Celeste remarks to the chain linking of what she knew to positive effect. The trick was finding out all this thing was capable of and scrapping off the chaff. But the time between her intentions and the action that came after was diminishing dramatically with each use.
-
The liquid begins to pour down through the rubble, drawing closer to the command of its master. A flick of her wrist again it seemed to follow the motion of her hands, like an orchestra. It wraps around her skin and pulls itself free of the floor, sliding up and onto her chest. It forms that strange armor that she had carved again causing her skin to swell and heat beneath its surface. It offered her no response to her question, but it wouldn't really be able to do it if she wanted it to. Celeste knew that and chose to not let it bother her. "Again." She ushers to the thing hoping that it would respond to her motives, and a wave of her hand forces it to fly free from an extended appendage. It wraps and begins to crush another, she had learned how to harvest its effects and should prove useful.
-
A flourish and quick pull of her hand in one fell motion. Latching to her wrist and lunging forward in a quick spray, it was as if the thing was teaching her its capabilities. Using her as a solid point it flies, with a splat it forms around a large stone. A crack as it bubbles before it crumbles. "Oh, right squeezing seems on point." Celeste remarks as if having an epiphany due to the display, it had yet to dawn on her that that could be a possibility. It slithers away from the wreckage, producing that single strange head, and offers a nodding gesture to the redhead. "What else?" she exclaims in a slight excitement, this was exactly the neat little discovery that she lived for. How many more tricks did it hold left for her to understand? A place to of one index to her chin, she eyes it curiously doing her best to think.

Celeste ushers her hand down toward the pool of fluid as she stares down the manifested head. It bubbles and latches on with a jerk, peeling up her arm and taking hold around where it was told it could reside. It was learning to listen. Now what was left was working on its reaction and discerning its capabilities. She had an interesting road still to complete what needed to be done and was not entirely sure where to begin again. Celeste begins to weigh what she knew about it. It was thick but malleable, could encase her and wrap targets. It offered heat and power to her when worn, and perhaps could even differ damage from her in its viscosity. "So like clothes, like rope, like a heating blanket, and basically steroids." She puts her thoughts out in a blunt phrase. The redhead wasn't the most book smart to place anything well defined to words, but it painted a clear enough picture.
-
Doing her best to fix her now displaced hair, she ushers open but clawed hands through it like a comb. A prick against her skin by accident draws a single red scratch. "Yeesh, sharp enough?" Celeste asks, but her voice was pleasant about it. A drop of her hand allows it to pour from her arm to the floor beneath her, freeing her hand up to fix it properly. "So I can use you to reposition, and we already know you can pull things into me." The girl responds raking her fingers through the long red hair, her head tilted off to one side as she spoke toward the puddle. To onlookers, she'd appear almost crazy like she was talking to herself. A single step away peels her shoes with a sticky snap of the fluid creature. It quivers slightly beneath her as if it tickled, producing a thin string forming that toothed face to look her expectantly.
-
A twist of her hands forces it clean, a charade in an order. It sprays off in the direction she chooses like from a hydrant, latching heavily around the base of a tree. A peel of her wrist back causes her feet to slide. "There we go, just like I wanted." Celeste remarks, owing the newfound girth due to the increase in available tissue of the creature. Another presentation with her left, a sudden jerk brings a single line like a whip. It connects to a stone, spinning around and becoming taught like a rope. A heave and a twist of her body is enough power to cause her to spin. She was not quite prepared for how fast it would reel. "Damn that will take some getting used to." She sighs and brushes some of her long hair from her mouth, being trapped in the moisture on her lips.

It was like fire on her skin, but it obliges her request and leaves her face empty. It forms a solid suit around her whole frame. "Now we are going to fix this, I don't like wearing this whole damn whatever. I look like a damn mascot." Celeste barks beginning to twist the given serrated claws across and peeling away where it was undesired for the thing to cover. Like carving clay she begins to peel away what she wanted bare, forcing it to thicken in other areas as it becomes shaped. "Thats more like it." Leaving it shaped around her hands like long gloves with pointed claws, around her chest and abdomen and removed from the top half of her *cough breast* It would allow her to breathe easier, allow the temperature to hold to her less. It felt like being stuck under a hot wet towel, slightly muggy.
-
A shutter forces a sudden spray of crimson ichor to escape the confines of her armor in all directions, like a release of the flood gates. "Right, so you are going to learn what I am putting down. Got it?" Celeste barks toward the newly formed pond of red that scorched the grass turning it black. It begins to swell and move toward the girl, climbing in the center like a writhing mass of bubbles. Lines of red like webbing lunge from it and begin to peel at her heels for an anchor. "There we go, get it all out." Celeste recites as it begins to take shape across her body. "Not my head, stop below my neck." The redhead orders as Zuggtmoy begins to take shape around her, forming a weird organic armor. The girl's muscles begin to heat, a feeling of power racking the fibers within them like electricity.
-
"There you go." Celeste quips assuming that this sudden epiphany was a result of what she said to the blonde. Moving outside the walls of the city, she was going to try her best to just wing her way through this crap. "Have fun." The redhead extrudes as she does, finding her way out of Deepedge into the rolling fields of gold. More than likely due to her haste in attempting to do the same seems she was right on base on how to approach this whole affair. It worked so quickly for the other girl so perhaps it would do the same for her. A glance left and right, eagerly seeking a place to unleash what she kept beneath her clothes. She didn't want to play 20 questions with whoever happened upon her once she had it out, and it sure as shit wasn't a cat up her sleeve.

A twist of her face into a scowl turns out the girl wasn't into girls. Which didn't matter any as it was obvious almost immediately that the chick didn't have a damn clue what needed to be done besides what Celeste already knew. "So what your saying is you don't have a clue, I didn't really want to hear your life story. I just want to teach mine to do what I want it to, not have a heart to heart. I don't really care what your familiar looked like before now, and uh I guess it's a shame that the damn thing shrunk. But I don't want to form a connection with it, I want it to obey. You have fun trying to play carebear with it." Celeste remarks beginning to walk away, being force-fed the girl's whole backstory wasn't really on her to-do list. The creature was a tool, not a friendship is magic.
-
A twist of her head as she wanders past, still coming to terms with her inadequate familiar. A look to Freya she notices Ko, a pet and servant the same. "Hey, you got one?" Celeste asked rather quickly and bluntly looking at the small fox cat thing. "How the hell do you get it to work right, mines all janky and disjointed." The redhead speaks to Freya with her eyes never leaving Ko, wondering if the blonde had gone through the routine of training it already. Zuggtmoy needed to be tempered and god forbid if she had a leaping point to figure out how the hell to do it. A bend and a move to a palatable manipulative self, she knew what she wanted to obtain from this other player and was willing to schmooze to get what she desired. A ring of her hair around her ear with a hand, unsure what gender the girl liked and perhaps it could play to her benefit.

Slinking out from the crevice, having her fill and leaving the whole place in disarray. A trail beginning back for Tomoika village as quick as extracted from, a warmth beneath her gloves and across her stomach that was undeniable. The click of her boots through the thick yellow mists, covering her mouth to abstain from its harmful grasp. A thought in her head as she moves. A glance down as she removes her hand from her face, allowing the toxin to deal a single tick of damage. "I guess it's only right that a servant has something to be made aware that it is being sought." A twist of her lips into a smile, concentration triggering with a grim letter, and a shared hunger for power are built by them both.

It flops to one side as she peels up the almost frail leather and fabric, holes throughout the lot of it to which she could see through. Celeste was not optimistic and shouldn't be. The program behind her was looking at both pieces, weighing them to coin and a free payday. As it turns out Celeste had just paid him for nothing more than free labor. But such was quests in general, an errand boy that gets rewarded pennies on the dollar. A flash of light as her eyes glow, the piece changes into a more intact black leather suit. Akin to a biker jacket, studs and all. "Someone was a fanboy." Celeste remarks eyeing it with a turn as she reads through the description on her peripheral.
"Nope I am keeping the axe, it's the best turd among a pile of turds. Give me my key." she takes a step forward and plops the coat in the boys lap. Billy picks it up and slides it on, looking like a young thug. A turn of his hand, he drops her a gold key. He offers thanks and, attempts for both other toys. Celeste rips up the axe and leaves. Her payment for the affair with interest.
