[F12-PP-PT] Where Nightmares Tread [Slimin 2, the talkening]
Kodo replied to Jibae's topic in Intermediate Floors
The man on the counter took another sit of Kodo's glass. He swallows hard unable to move his eyes off this guy. Tan skin, masculine, short black hair that was combed to the right. It looked like he used hair gel to keep it in place. "I'm sorry I'm" clearing his throat trying to speak. The man would chuckle as he would see Kodo Fluster. "You are kinda cute. I am off in an hour if you want to stick around. Maybe then we could get better acquainted." The man would give him a smile as he would take one more sip of his drink and walk off to the other side of the building, still behind the counter. -

Taking a sip of his drink while his eyes were trailing the amount of people that were falling for her tricks. The woman was flirting, those batting eye lashes, the small brushing on the fore arm. Either they were all interested in the woman sitting before them and they were really that dumb. Maybe there was something more going on that meets the eye. Regardless, he thought that she was trying too hard to get what she wanted. What that something was is beyond him, but there was something strange about her. Taking another sip of his drink, it was none of his business. It was really strange -

Wandering this muddied floor, avoiding the puddles at all cost. He was trying to find his drink of choice. He was old enough now as of a few days ago and if he was going to be a business man like his father was then he needed to have a drink that was always on tap for him to offer to another. The last few bars that he had gone to were filthy, full of costumers that were fighting and not appreciating the value of a single drink to the taste. This bar was bigger than most, the clientele was a bit rowdy but nothing that he wasn't use to. Walking through the doors, seeing a person to the rig -
Wiping his hands after washing them in the kitchen sick. He had just finished his shift in the Burger's place. It seemed that Lanna had the day off today. "See you tomorrow boss" waving back to Calagin as he walks out the door with the ring of a bell. Right then a message dings through his HUD. Pulling it up and reading it, an invite to a pool party from Enya. Just the other day that girl was shy as all get up and wanted nothing to do with other people because she was afraid of what they would think of her. Now she is at a pool party with groups of people she doesn't know. Did he really boost

Starting early like everyday before this one. Putting a pair of jogging sweat pants and tank top both white. The pants had two blank lines going down the length of each side. He always ate a ration right before, it would act the same to a protein bar and shake like back home. He was unable to find a shop that made actual protein fit meals so he would have to make due. Same route every day, five rounds around the town of beginning walls. It seems a couple miles around each time, so to him it felt like a ten mile run. Getting back to the inn he would order a large breakfast, the same thing

This kill was talking so fast, was she nervous. That had to be it, he thought that it would ease up a bit when he accepted that invite for both topics. Was he really that intimidating or was she just that scared. She seemed distracted so he walks up behind her and sets a hand on her shoulder, only then did she stop talking, good. This girl shared so much with him, intentionally and unintentionally. Turning her, he pulls her into a hug. "You have to relax Enya. I want to be here, and I accepted your friend invite because I want to be your friend." Feeling his inner shirt become a bit wet by tea
 -
Before he could say anything that girls walks out seeming nervous as hell. He couldn't help but chuckle as he shook his head. The girl was talking so fast but somehow her understood it. A few minutes later a friend request and a location pings on is HUD. That probably took a lot of courage to do, he accepts the friend invite and sends a message saying he had a little bit to do but he would be there. He had to take a shower get ready for the day. Breakfast would be covered by Enya, that was nice of her, she was a sweet girl. He was kinda glad he reached out of his comfort zone to speak with her

A small chuckle as he placed them down by her. "A simple answer for a semi simple question." He started to walk back into the bathroom to grab the other stuff. Standing in the door way, holding the frame with a hand. "When ever I wake, I wake up in a cold sweat too. So I just don't sleep much." Glancing at her over his shoulder, watching her head turn a bit with an apologetic look in her face. Kodo just smiles and walks into the bathroom. "Let me know when your done changing" saying as he shuts the door. For the most part he was okay with talking about it now. He was still having issues coping
 -
He sat there staring trying to figure out if she was awake while she was talking. After a bit it was clear that they she was not. He knew that discomfort, it played time and time again is his own head. It was the reason he didn't sleep as often as he should. When the girl flung up but didn't move from where she sat, it made him wonder. He leans over slightly to see her back and sheets soaked. He knew that all to well to. Standing he was walk over to the girl that was hiding under the blanket. He simple pulls the comforter off the girl, he would give her a smile. "I can't count how many times I

Hearing the girl talk, then her voice started to get crackly. His head turns to find her curled into a ball. He wasn't sure what to do, there were people a few months ago that showed him kindness. This girl seemed to be alone like him and going through something that he could sorta relate to. His situation was different but painful. To him she spoke like her entire family was against her, at least he had that. The girl was full on crying now, he remembered when Freya just held him. He didn't want it but it helped. He moved closer and pulls her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her tiny

"Well I think that is a very good quality to have, to know where the line is." This girl was home schooled, there was only a few reasons for that. One being that the parents were too protective and didn't want their little girl to be a subject of bullying. Another being that she might of done something to make it to where she couldn't go to school, this girl didn't seem like that type though. These were not questions more of observations, she was trying to read him. "You are half right. I have..." a small pause knowing that its been a while sense they had been hope. "I had the highest GPA in m

Sitting there is silence as they both ate their bread. Was she mute, or did she just not want to talk to him. He couldn't help to think that he was the problem. The girl wouldn't even look at him. Did the green hair make her instantly not like him, in the past it was a big factor to why no one would speak to him. Maybe this was just another one of those times. The bread was gone now from both their hands and still not a word. Giving a sigh, "I'll be going now, sorry to be a bother," as he starts to get up before feeling a hand on his ankle. Looking down to meet her brown eyes, "You don't want

Fixing his cuff link as he was down the brown wooden stairs of the Inn. He hasn't heard Kaylie's voice in almost a month. Maybe it was because he was no longing trying to off himself. He was trying to enjoy what was given to him, which really wasn't much. Not really wanting to fight he spend his days wondering the first floor in the town of beginnings helping NPC's. It might sound a bit odd but everyone else looked at him funny. It's like they had never seen a kid with green hair before. Whatever the case may of been, he was used to it. All that time in school, people would stare dagger in his

The rock that was tossed on his lap, Kodo just stares at it. Taking a deep breath, Freya said nothing that he was expecting. It really caught him off guard. Grasping that flat rock, moving a thumb over the phrase. A tear drips down his cheek. It was something that his sister was always telling him. -Whatever happens, let it, faith will guide you down the path you were meant to take-. A sigh as he looks to the large slab, Kaylee's name. They all were right to an extent. He couldn't just sit here and mourn his sister. She was not here any more and it would do him no good. These people were tryin

"I just can't do what they want me to. My brain is hard wired to one thing and I can't just change that sequence in an instance." Pulling his hand away with a sigh. Wondering if Freyja was going to say the same thing they both did. "I wanted to confront that person that killed my sister, just to maybe talk or something, but they all keep telling me it's a bad idea and that it won't end how I want, but I feel like it is the only way that I can move forward." Combing his hair back with a hand. Locking eyes with her again, "I actually wanted to talk to you. After what they had to say I just

That blank stare held, Kodo grabs Liums hands pushing them away. Kodo backs away from Lium now. "You guys wanted this, you should be happy." Another step backwards, "You still don't get it. You can't help me. No one can..." He turns and starts walking, he could feel Lium following him. "My entire like it has been only my sister and I, and now it is just me." Kodo's voice was without emotion, as his feet continued to move forward. "You can't just walk into my life and expect that everything is going to go the way you want. Life doesn't work like that..." adjusting his cuff on his sleeve. "Just

Your sister is gone. You know this... "I know this, but..." trying to say as he clings to that necklace tighter. You need a new rock to cling to, or else to become a rock yourself... "Damn it..." Freyd was right, but it wasn't going to be that easy. -Hi, I'm Kodo, be my rock please- Like anything actually happened like that. You owe it to her to get your ass off the ground, pick a direction, and start walking. Whatever happens, happens... Kodo had spent so much time in this game sitting with only his brain in motion. He knew that he had to get up and start somewhere.

A small breath as he remembers a quote from his sister. One that Kaylee would always say when hard times were at its finest point. "Man proposes; God disposes'? First you do your best, and then fate will decide how it turns out..." Kodo's eyes narrow to the floor. "Something my sister always told me when things got rough." That overwhelming feeling was back, he hated it so much. "I want closure I just don't know how to get it." Turning a bit, pushing his back against the wall. Sliding down to the ground, "Kaylee was everything I was not. My rock, my heart, my world... I don't know how to live

"Those hands moving forever forward. They will eventually stop, it already has for some people in this place." Taking that last bite, he could see that Lium was getting pissed off and confused as all get up. "What does it matter if time stops now or years from now. It has been 4 long, painful years for probably most of the people here." Kodo's brain started calculating other possibilities. "We are barely a fourth of the way through this hell and it might be another 14 years before we get zapped back out." Kodo shift in his seat and glances to Lium then to Freyd. "If we get out of here, who is

Lium slams the bottles on the table before walking to the kitchen, Kodo would follow. "I do not see why just confronting this man is a problem. I just want to know why he did it and if he regrets it." Lium sets some cheese on the counter and notions Kodo to start cutting. Kodo takes the knife and slices fine and even slices. An extra piece was made, Kodo takes it in his grasp and starts to eat it, tearing off tiny pieces. "I do not see why it is such an issue, I want to look into his eyes and know that he feels bad for what he did. This may be a game, but they are still people. They still have

[F3-PP] Off to... Who Knows Where? (Searching for Hoya)

Kodo had never actually used any type of weapon before. The mere effect that it was doing to him though, Lium walks to the beast. A bit nervous that it was going to get up and dice his ass. Kodo's chest was pounding a million miles per second, was this what being scared felt like. Looking back at the group, Lium stuck a thumb out with a grin. Taking a deep breath, he still didn't know these people. How could he trust who he didn't know. This thing could probably one shot him if given the chance. Sweat starts to drip down his forehead as he got closer to the giant thing. One small foot fall at -

Kodo stands there staring at that sword in his hands. His heart sunk and his chest tightens. Kodo's memory floods back to that day. Everything around him was just noise, just like before when he was sitting in that ally way. Kodo's hand starts to shake as the memory of that sword plunging into his sister's stomach. To everyone else they would see tears from the wide eyes. "I can't,' saying dropping that sword on the ground. Backing against that wall as he just stares at the blade. "Kodo," hearing someone muffling something, but he couldn't hear it. "Kodo..." but still nothing... Lium look -

Following behind Eruda, he had not been doing much before this. Kodo was still getting a feel for everything around him that seemed so old yet new in the same perspective. Knowing that he was too low level to do much right now, he would have been waiting to hear something from Freyd. After that day, it was a hit to reality. Trying to get his sister out of his head without forgetting all the good memories, it was hard to do for Kodo. He knew that his sister was gone, but it didn't feel that way. Not hearing her voice for a while, still unsure if it was real or something that his brain had muste -
The words he spoke were simple yet understanding, but it was something that he had yet to think about until now. "You might be right. This scar will not heal overnight though. I know it will take time, and as painful as it may seem right now, I have to move on." It was very strange. Words that sounded greek to him at first. Simply because he never talked this way. It was most likely from recent events, Kodo was changing and he knew it. Unsure what to think about this, "A man like you needs assistance from me? I am not sure what I would be able to do, being low level. The variables do not match

Kodo looks away at this point and narrows his eyes. That day rushes through is mind, that kid pops into his head. Eyes close, head tilts slightly as that pain set in again. "I don't..." he says through a cracked voice. His chest weighs heavy with guilt, like there was something that he should have done to prevent what transpired. "I can't..." a tear down his cheek. A rough inhale as his eyes look to the ceiling. A voice in his head again, I don't want this to be how you remember me Kodo, think about the happy times... Kodo still couldn't figure out if that voice was his self consciou
