[OP-F1] To Begin...Again

Recommended Posts

The Starting City. A massive metropolis of players and buildings alike. Housing those that didn't ask for the burden they are carrying as well as housing burdens that needed carrying. Yuki was still unsure what category she had managed to fall into but neither of them were a pleasant thought when she is more than capable of handling herself. Why had she taken so long to get offer ass and do something? Fear? Anger? Hatred? The excuses never made a difference, but today she planned to begin anew. What that entailed was up in the air, but important nonetheless.

The booth that had been housing her, now lay vacant as the purplette exited the tavern. Determination laced her gaze as she stormed off towards the fields. There would be no more waiting around, she needed to catch up.

Hakai walked around on the first floor, looking for the purple haired beauty that she called her wife. She caught sight of a purple haired woman up ahead. It looked like Sierra had chosen a different outfit than normal. That just showed how well she was learning the buttons on the hud. Hakai walked up behind the woman and tapped her on the shoulder, just as she realized that the woman wasn't, in fact, her wife. She blushed a little, embarrassed. "Hi, sorry, i thought you were someone else."

Yuki paused as something lightly tapped against her shoulder. Swiveling around, her gaze fell upon a blonde of sorts that seemed to be looking for someone. Her apology confused Yuki as she wondered who else in this world had purple hair like hers to be mistaken with. "No worries" escaped her lips as she shifted her line of sight back to the gate. "If there's nothing else, I have some work to do. Pardon me." With a slight bow, she turned to face the city's exit and began to head off once again. Calling over her shoulder, Yuki yelled, "I hope you find who you're looking for!"

"Waiiit!" Sinful was chasing Yukino holding a sack of Col in one of his hands. "You dropped some money miss!" Altruistic as ever, he even added some more money in it as soon as he saw it drop. Although it probably wasn't her's, he assumed it was because she was a new player. "Here, it's yours." Sinful panted heavily as he caught up to her, he smiled and held out his hand. "My name's Sinful, it's a pleasure to return your money, oh, and meet you of course." He put on his more charming smile and spoke sincerely. "Your hair is pretty, could you teach me how to do mine?" Sinful giggled a bit and pointed at his hair, it was very dirty and made it look like he was a beggar. "Mine needs a bit of tidying up, it scares away people sometimes."

After well 2 hours of walking in a straight line through forests, fields and roads, Macradon was finally able to see the main settlement of the town. He had chosen to take the hidden warp portal for a fun tour, but it wasn't fun at all. He was all exhausted as he finally came into view of the first floor. "Finally ..." he muttered for himself as he would take some more steps closer to the town of beginnings. Macradon was fully clad in armor, Demi-greaves, poleyn, halfplate, pouldron and helmet, all in white and red like for the uniform look and the uniform of the guild.

Just as the exit seemed within reach, another player had stopped Yuki in her tracks, This one donning dirtied platinum hair and holding a what seemed like a a sack of Col. While his musing didn't make much sense to her, she got the gist of the situation and held out her hand in a "stop" fashion. "The col isn't mine, but I do appreciate the thought. You should keep it." Taking his hand, she slightly shook it and bowed to greet him. "Nice to meet you as well...Sinful.." The name was quite odd, but she didn't dwell on it. Her thoughts did turn over at the fact that no matter what, it seemed training wouldn't be in her cards today with all these wily interruptions. Pitching a sigh, lidded azure eyes met his gaze as she awkwardly stood, unsure of what to do about his supposed hair issue.

(Conveniently using Macradon's entrance to make my own. :U)

Seul had been traveling with his armor-clad guild mate for what seemed like an eternity but in reality had only been a few hours. "That's the last time we take one of your secret routes..."  He said with an exasperated sigh, though he knew it probably wouldn't be the last time they adventured together. Regardless, it was nice to be back on the floor he considered to be home and would be perfectly content with sleeping for the next week once he arrived at the local inn. "What're you going to do now Macradon?" The question came as they neared town and he was genuinely curious as the two only hung out a handful of times outside of going on travels.

He would sigh "Sure ... let's not take that route again ..." it was the way Dom told him that he used, but it didn't seem like it was that pleasant, it was what you gave up upon when you became a playerkiller, you wouldn't be able to enter the towns, so the hidden portals in the woods were the only thing a PK'er could go through. "I'm not really sure what we should do now, let's just head back to town and see what will happen today" he said as he would continue his walk to the town. Seul and him had been walking that big trek just to arrive down here at the town of beginnings, not much was really gonna happen on the lower floors, the same floor Macradon had his shop, the same floor Macradon lived on, but not the one he used most of his time as he was a casual frontliner as well.

Nixon was sitting on a bench near Sinful and Yukino. He was not wearing his armour, instead he was wearing his everyday clothing. As they stood there he looked the two of them up and down. They couldn't be very high leveled, and it was dangerous to go around anywhere outside of a safezone without someone that could take hits, "Plus, I need some companions anyways" He thought as he stood up and walked over to the two. "Hello, you two. I am Nixon of the guild 'The Lucifer Effect'  I see that you two are some what of... and i mean no offence by this, lower leveled players. I am not extraordinarily high leveled myself. but i can take a hit. If you two are thinking about training, and would be willing, I would love to accompany you." Nixon bowed slightly and had a light hearted grin on his face. His Striking blue eyes seeming to liven up his already happy persona.

Yukino's thoughts came to a quickened halt as yet another person introduced themselves to her. The day was becoming more odd by the second and she wasn't quite sure where it was heading. Glancing to the blonde who had introduced himself as Nixon, Yuki, gave him a slight nod in acknowledgement of his statement. "I'm Yukino, but you can call me Yuki." Glancing him over, Yuki seemed apprehensive of his 'lively' persona. For someone trapped in a death game, he sure is...happy... She didn't know what to think of Nixon just yet, not that she had Sinful figured out either, but the blue-eyed boy's offer was rather tempting.

"I'd like to take you up on that offer Nixon. I'm still level one however, so I may need more 'carrying' than you realize."

Nixon chuckled when she  said   "I'm still level one however, so I may need more 'carrying' than you realize. He looked at her a warm smile on his face. "We all need to start somewhere. I mean i wouldnt be where i am today if it wasn't for higher leveled players like Eth, or Macradon helping me out. Besides, I have no intention of 'carrying' you, I would much rather help you then do it for you. I mean, you cannot learn without doing it for yourself." Nixon thought back to something he had read , but decided not to say it. Instead he looked to the man who had not introduced himself "and who might you be, friend?"

Ethereal was chilling out as you do, on top of one of the nearby buildings to where the group was standing. Lying prone, he would be staring down into the gutter of a rather large structure a few houses down from the group of players. Reaching down into it with his right hand, the alchemist attempts to retrieve a material he believed to be in there. As he did, a silver-white raven soars down and lands itself rather heavily on his head, prompting a grunt from the swordsman. "Dammit Argent, whatcha do that for?" he complains as he fumbles about for the item in vain. Sighing, the Blade rises to his feet carefully and surveys the land before him, spotting some fellow guildmates. With a smile he calls out and waves to them; "Hey guys!"

Sinful closely examined the intent and motives of Nixon, 'Don't take me for a fool' his mind thought, but on the outside he was smiling. "My name is Sinful, glad to meet you pal!" This meant bad news, there was no guy who is this nice besides a few others. Nixon was something else, a manipulator just like him, and they were both hiding it. This was now a battlefield of the masterminds. "Do you need some of this?" Sinful held up a sack of Col and offered it to Nixon, ironically his own clothing were rags, making him look like a street beggar.

Nixon smiled at the man "No thank you, I don't need any." Nixon showed no sign of manipulation or deceit. He did notice the man Looking him up and down. he laughed "You can look but you can't touch mate, I don't really swing that way" He said with a lighthearted smile. and a joking tone in his voice. "I know what you are Sinful, I am offend that you would take me for such a fool." He thought to himself. not showing anything but kindness in his expression to the outside world. He smiled to Sinful. His smile seemed more tired than before, like he was getting worn out... like something was creeping up on him that he had put behind him a long time ago. But it was only there for a few seconds before it vanished, returning to seeming genuine happiness

Madara entered the housing district of the town of beginnings.  He was waiting on a piece of cloth being made by a tailor.  He was walking at a slow pace with a grin on his face, for he was now friends with the secretive and stealthy TheEyeTheif and the legendary medic, Tobi, were now his faithful companions.  He noticed two guys standing, talking to one another.  He walked past the two of them, keeping his eyes closed, face aimed toward the ground.  He did not want to disturb the piece around here, even though he knew Nixon figure from a tavern fight from a while ago.  Madara, after closing his eyes, could remember the other guy from anywhere.   Passing by them, he kept his closed eyes focused on the ground, so that neither of them could see his eyes.

Kacaji stood beside Madara again, noticing that he had his eyes closed.  "Madara, keep your eyes closed.  I can help you get places, just please don't cause any problems right now."  Kacaji had his face mask covering his face, and he kept his left eye closed as he walked past Nixon and Sinful.  Kacaji was partly tired himself after the fight he and Tobi had just been in.  Kacaji had his katana strapped to his back, and his cloth mask covered his mouth beneath the face mask.  He would need Madara to pay him back later for the large amount of col which he had given to Madara to get some thing from a tailor.  Seeing Nixon and Sinful was weird to him, but he showed little care to their squabble.  Kacaji was very odd looking, but he did not erupt the intimidating presence as Madara did when he locked eyes with people.  Luckily Madara had closed his eyes before anyone could notice his presence in the area.

Yukino hated tension. Even more so, she hated needless tension. The two boys before her obviously had something going on between them that was making them uncomfortable. Yuki, rather than pry, not that she cared anyhow, decided to slowly step away from both as they bickered back and forth. As she stepped back, two more figures approached the group, although not directly. More so like passing through the area they occupied at the moment. Both seemed to have a rather antagonistic look to them as they kept their eyes peeled to the cobbled roads ahead. They only ever glanced up slightly to check the two argumentative players out before returning the ir gaze to the ground. Once they emerged on the other side of the group, Yukino, opted to interrupt the two before her. "You guys mind knocking whatever this is off? Its a little weird given you're both faking this 'happiness'. I think I'll just escort myself from here." Giving them both a slight bow, the purplette headed back towards the tavern. She'd need some time to plan for her first combat outing.

He allowed Macradon's words to sink in and quietly glanced around as they finally arrived in town. "Now for the ultimate decision... Sleeping or eating?" The boy's expression and tone took on a serious nature as he shot a glance over at the armored player. In all honesty he would have been fine with either reply, but before anyone could get another word in Seul's stomach growled with the ferocity of a floor boss. "Guess that's my answer." An awkward smile grew across his face soon after and before he knew it he found himself wandering off in the direction of a local tavern. Along the way he heard the call of another guild mate, Ethereal, from the rooftops but only offered up a wave as he was now in hurry. "Fooooood!"

It was a good question indeed. What was Macradon craving? Was it a godly made steak, or a well deserved nap? Macradon would ponder a few more meters before he would answer Seul. "Seul, I have the best plan ... why not both? Eat and then sleep?" he would say with a still serious voice, trying to keep it serious, but even though he tried, he just couldn't keep it like that. As the two of them would get closer and closer to the town, something at the exit would show itself, at least Macradon would only notice it by now. A few people gathered there at the exit, where they doing anything?

Madara was relying on his hearing, which was definitely not his best sense by far, and the guidance of TheEyetheif.  He heard the two guys talking, but as they were distancing themselves from them, he heard a girl speak.  This honestly surprised him because he only knew a hand full of girls in this game, and none of which had that voice.  Madara displayed a confused look on his face as continued to walk.  Madara was wondering how the tailor was doing the order, and how long it would take.  Madara felt the suns heat on his arms and legs as they passed from some shade into the suns rays once again.  As he remembered what he had been briefly thinking about, he asked, "Who is that girl?  I have never heard her voice before".  Madara spoke aloud towards TheEyetheif, who was still guiding him past people.  His eyes never opened as he turned his head slightly to ask the question.
